Wait a sec, Frisk is backtracking? Maybe Chara could talk to them and lead them to Gaster's door, that's what I'd do. Then again there's no way of knowing if they've communicated with Frisk already or not.

Question for you guys! Do you have ways of interacting with the world around you? Say, the way Chara could move physical stuff to give to Gaster like coffee and a notebook

Not sure how long you’ve been watching us… but Chara mentioned that we only hear them when they’re addressing the text boxes. And doing and narrating things we couldn’t hear… did by any chance any of you heard or saw anything they did? Just asking.
