Risso’s dolphin - Grampus griseus

Length: 13 feet

This gray dolphin has a large, rounded head. As it grows older, its skin gradually becomes white. It has no teeth in its upper jaw and sometimes no teeth at all. It swims the seas leisurely in groups of up to several dozen.

Adults look white because of countless scars on their skin. All dolphins and whales are injured at some point, but their scars usually fade with time. This species’ injuries leave permanent white scars that gradually turn their entire body white as they get older.

oh, man, the nostalgia i have with that game... i think my two favorite moments were entering valka castle and hearing nella fantasia playing, and then all of the diving in the zahhab region depths bc im a slut for deep sea diving

if there's one small tweak i'd wish for this game... it'd be to keep the manta rays that appear here during the opening, at least for when you actually discover it at the end of the game

they look so cool, and their route data is in the files... it'd be pretty easy to reimplement

if you're looking to get the title for showing oceana her favourite creatures, keep this in mind:

this fish, the southern orange-lined cardinalfish, can count as her favourite creature twice - once for showing her the regular ol' fish, and once for showing her the fish while it has eggs in its mouth!
