You didn't know that, he didn't think you did anyways because well, you have the attention of THE Vil Shoenheit and have defeated many Overbloats. But for now, the letter you shall never see will do. For now.

A ringing bell takes him out of his trance. Has school ended already? Well then, he can just get notes from another classmate it's no big de- Oh.

You're with Vil again. How pleasant. Your friendship with him is growing quite strong. It's almost as if you're attached at the hip.

“Yo, Jade calm down looks like your about to murder someone!” Ah, it's Floyd. Usually, he could tell when someone was behind him. He's been spacing out more, that's no good. “Im alright, Floyd. Im just a bit tired that's all.” that was a lie, but having his brother worry over him while his crush is slowly slipping away from him is bothersome.

“Yeaaahhh noo, for real, what happening are you okay?” curse Floyd for knowing him so well.

Jesting his head over you and Vil he understands immediately. “Shrimpy and Betta getting too close for your liking? Why not confess to Shrimp already? What, are you scared?”—that's stupid.

“I am not. I'll confess to them in an hour!” What a stupid mistake.

Rummaging through his boxes of letters he needs to find the right one. About your eyes? Predictable. Your bravery? Others are already telling you that. Your beauty? That won't work.

A knock is heard on your door. You would think it's vil but he's already here.

“Alright, sorting from expired, terrible, and unusable I have found one make-up brush. You exceeded my expectations…What are you doing?” Vil asked. It's not like you to just leave him without warning.

“Sorry! I heard a knock at the door and went to see what it was” A letter was behind your back hidden from his view. “Well? What is it? Did another desperate potato ask for your help?”.

“No just this” You held the letter up in clear view. “Aren't you going to read it??”

“If it is not too forward of me to say so, I have developed a very strong affection for you…The more we have talked... it is as if the world has brightened. Maybe, maybe in another life it’s more than an experience and despite how fucked life had to be to get here I would throw myself into it headfirst over and over again because you all were more than just an experience, and maybe it’s just because im clingy or get too attached but you were everything and still will be - i like to think when I die sooner or later and people I know still are living I’d see them, maybe as a bird flying over head or some plant growing nearby but I’d get to see them and remember how much they meant and always will mean. It feels like betting on loosing dogs but i know that’s wrong - im just scared to lose people important to me.

you're bound to lose people that are important to you. that's just a fact, it's inevitable. whether through death, through falling out, through some other way, you are going to lose people and it's going to hurt.

but the way i see it, it's just part of the beauty that is living. it just proves that you've got to experience things with someone, enough for them to become important to you, enough for you to love them. it just means you've lived and experienced life in all its beauty, in all its pain, and losing them and hurting just proves that you're human and alive. and maybe im just reusing words and saying the same thing over and over again, but that's the truth.

if you feel hurt when you lose someone important, it just proves that you got to experience life with them, that you got to enjoy existing and their existence simultaneously. and i think, if just for right now, you should relax and just enjoy life how it is, because it's not going to last forever, but that's okay. it's going to be okay, it just is, i promise.

and when you look at a bird flying overhead or a plant growing through the cracks of a sidewalk or a now vintage piece of media that was once so modern and new when you were younger, you'll think back to them and wonder how they're doing, amd you'll be grateful that you spent your time existing and living with them rather than pondering the idea of losing them one day, and you'll huff through your nose and wonder why you were so worried when all you feel is a lingering sense of fondness and warmth for a long long friend,

because everything went okay. everything's okay. you got to live, you got to experience, you got to enjoy your youth with friends from all over the world, and maybe you don't talk to them anymore, but it's okay because you have the memories to fond over.

and that's okay because it doesn't hurt. it's a little melancholic but that's okay because it doesn't hurt, and instead you feel some sort of spark breathe into your soul, a sense of anticipation and excitement buzzing through your veins, because you know you'll get to see them in the next life, and that's enough to settle your soul.

A/N - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR KILLING MY WRITERS BLOCK. so, i have a whole idea in my mind. we're going to start off with this post by introducing the characters i made for everyone, yes !! including y/n (nicknamed clio) and then it will be followed by a chapter for each member. the real chapters will be uploaded from the boy who fell in love with y/n first to most recent lover (since this gang had some sort of an indirect poly relationship). i'm really excited as this is my first fully realised project with thought out characters and stuff :) if you're still reading this, thank you so much again for this wonderful request!

pride: his mercedes-benz sprinter

specialises in: knowing shortcuts everywhere he goes, driving away from multiple police cars at once

profile: as a child he didn't really show any interest in motorcycles, cars, or any mechanical thing in general until his younger brother stole a maserati. minhyuk became obsessed with expensive cars and started competing in illegal races, now being the currect reigning 'king of the streets'. like the name suggests, he pays other drivers no mind and knows the roads better than he knows himself.

pride: being able to intimidate people into doing whatever he wants

specialises in: fitting everything in a tight, neat plan. he always leaves room for a back up plan, if the first one goes wrong and they need to switch gears.

profile: born with a feeling for tidying everything he saw, this guy is the perfect fit for being the boss of the group. not only does he make sure the whole plan goes smooth, he also makes sure the members are in fantastic condition. he openly cares for the members from the bottom of his heart, often giving out snacks to eat and drinks to drink.

function: the 'ninja'

pride: his collection of guns

specialises in: having a fast but precise hand in everything he does. his eye-hand coördination is off the charts, too

profile: this man had a lot of training to do when he first started off in this dark industry. with the ambition of becoming an assassin he started to practise many methods to defend himself and the members of MX. starting with practising with long distance weapons, he gradually made his weapons more manual until he got to the bats, knives, and daggers. he stayed loyal to his first love, however, and now sticks to guns only.

function: the seducer

pride: his androgyny

specialises in: gaining people's unconditional trust in a split second before abusing said trust

profile: he may seem incomprehensable at first, but jooheon is nothing more than a trapped, tortured soul. back when he was a child he always used to get bullied for looking feminine, but instead of letting his looks become his weakness, he took that background and turned it into his job. now he roams the clubs, sometimes as a man, sometimes as a woman, to seduce MX's next target.

specialises in: unnoticably cracking codes and learning everything about his opponent in seconds

profile: growing up as an introvert with a love for games and computers, it's no surprise that i.m ended up in the computer industry. his fast hands help him with finding out everything he needs, which the other MX's members are very grateful for. this underdog likes to stay in the background, where there's not a lot of strings attached. though he's the most introverted out of MX, he loves his friends dearly.

age: 22

function: all-rounder. she does what she wants to do, when she wants to do it, to who she wants to do it.

pride: her talents and being the 'baby' of MX

specialises in: everything that she does. often tags along with one of the MX members in whatever they're doing that night.

profile: clio was going to be one of MX's targets at first, but jooheon messed up big time and changed plans. he was supposed to just seduce clio, but failed, and caught feelings for her. jooheon awkwardly introduced her to the group, followed by weeks of disgrace and bullying to see how tough she was. slowly she gained MX's trust and eventually joined the group, making the eighth and last person to perfect everything they do.
