Hi! I’m the anon that requested the light god reader thing a long time ago but i cant take jealous mothman out of my head so heres like a follow up to that

After a bit of time light god!reader and FL start hanging around together a lot more often and travel together(i have the idea that as a light god with their fireflies and whatnot they travel slowly yet often to spread light during nights) and Foul Legacy has this instinct to protect the reader. The more time passes the more FL realizes that normally ‘hostile’ mobs and monsters are rather calm and fascinated by the reader(mostly because of their connection to the abyss, they have a liking towards light as well i’d imagine). The reader is nice and holds positive thoughts against the ‘monsters’ as they have not attempted to harm them. Yet FL starts to get a bit jealous as the mobs seem to take reader’s attention away from him. After another small interaction reader had with the mobs they see more often FL gets a bit huffy and just lays on their lap, hugging them gently yet firmly with his big form.

you've always been a god who prefers peace over war, and although your role amongst your divine brethren was quite small and undefined, you play a large part in spreading hope to the monsters and other creatures of Teyvat. of course, the other gods are unaware of Foul Legacy, since they'd most likely strike him down on first sight. you're the only one who's entirely unafraid of Foul Legacy, so he relishes the time and attention you give him, perking up and purring at the mere sight of you coming to see him every night, the little fireflies winking around you

you never seem to have an exact destination in mind, merely wandering in a random direction, leaving light wherever you go and saying hello to all the creatures you meet. Foul Legacy lingers in the background, clutching his spear at the sight of other monsters curiously surrounding you. he hisses involuntarily as you smile and laugh, swallowing the threatening growl building in his throat when you wave goodbye and meander back to him, your fireflies blazing cheerfully, and Foul Legacy merely looks at his feet with a small huff

before you can blink he's leaning against you, curled around your body and holding you tightly, small whines slipping between his fangs. with gentle hands you pet his hair, asking what's wrong, and your Abyssal monster simply casts a glance back towards the other creatures and huffs again. you have to bite down a laugh when you realize what's going on, squeezing Foul Legacy tightly and letting your fireflies settle in his hair and fluff like tiny glowing stars. he chirps and chitters at your hug, adjusting himself so he's caged in your arms and pressing his head to your chest so he can hear your heartbeat. there's a soft hum from you and him as your soft glow encapsulates Foul Legacy, soothing the turmoil in his heart, because he knows even without words that he's the one and only Abyss monster for you <33
