You wouldn't think the time would ever come, but I am starting to post a series about my OC's!

Katz

This is her, now some more informations:

Nationality: she comes from Wassermund, and lives in the city of Hofenstadt

Family: she had two dads, Adam and Martin, but they both died. Martin because of an illness, and Adam was lost at sea, while he was guiding some Tijaran merchants trough a particularly dangerous passage. Her green mantle was Martin's.

Affiliation: she is in the Alliance devoted to expel and forbid any trade and association with Tijaran merchants. She and the Alliance believe that if Wassermund could branch out more, they would become a better country. The first passage for this is not making them dependant on Tijara for trade. Of course Adam's death had a huge impact on her decision of joint the Alliance.

What does she do for a living: she conducts raids with Alliance, and gains money from such raids.

Friends: she will eventually make friends with all of the other main charachters, but she will develop a stronger bond with Souad and Nayeli.

Age: 17 years old

Personality: she is very hit headed and impulsive, and she has anger issues. She never fully processed her grief, and this travel to free the gods will be an occasion for her to do so

Religious beliefs: she generally believes in the existence of all the gods, but especially she believes in Ylan, god of the sea and protector of Wassermund, eldest of all gods.

Education level: she knows how to write and read to an extent. She does not know how to read complex or long texts and books. She can speak Wasserese, the Original language, and knows some Wasserese sign language.

"Ooh girl, there he go!" Jade looks in the direction where her friend is pointing, seeing him.

"Sweet Jesus, he is fine." Another one comments.

"He's always been fine," Jade adds. "Ever since high school." She flips her locks over her shoulder, still looking in his direction.

"Mhm, it's been that long and you still got a crush on him. Don't you?" Jade looks at her friends and rolls her eyes.

"Shh! He's coming over here!" They straighten up and place their straws up to their lips.

He stops in front of Jade and gives her a smile. "Jade. Long time, no see." She bats her eyelashes, giving him the same smile.

"Indeed, Y'lan." He bites his lip, failing to hide his smirk.

"You look gorgeous, as always."

"Fuck her already," her friend mumbles. She smacks her leg underneath the table. He chuckles.

"You wanna go somewhere and talk?" She stands up from her seat and grabs her drink.

"Sure." He holds his hand out for her take, leading her back to his table.

"So, how have you been?" He asks. She stirs her straw around in her drink, eyeing him coyly.

"We're not gonna play 21 questions, like we're in high school, are we?" He laughs, shaking his head.

"Nah. I just wanted to see how you been."

"Hm. I've been good, I can't complain." She shrugs.

"Mm, well you look great." He sends another smile her way.

"What's up with all the compliments?" She crosses one long leg over the other.

"What do you mean?" He raises an eyebrow at her. "I've always thought you were beautiful."

She laughs. "That's funny, cause I never knew that. Where was this energy in high school?"

"I wasn't the type to approach people in high school, let alone someone as bad as you."

"Hm.... what about Vanessa? Y'all went to prom together." He smirks.

"She asked me to prom. I didn't even really wanna go."

"Then, why did you?" He gives her skeptical look, making her throw her hands up. "I'm just curious. This is a honest conversation, right?"

"My boys were going and they all had dates. Now, while that never mattered to me, she asked me at the last minute and I just went with it. Nothing serious."

"Did you say that last part for my benefit?"

"Do you want me to say yes, so it can make you feel better?" He asks.

"No, smart ass. I'm just saying, just cause you were attracted me, doesn't mean you have to dumb down your romantic situations for me."

"I still am attracted to you." He swirls the dark liquor around in his cup, before emptying every drop into his mouth.

"I know you're attracted to me, too." She places her chin in the palm of her hand.

"How would you know that?"

"You just admitted it, Jade." She briefly closes her eyes, opening them back up to see him laughing at her.

"Shut up, Y'lan."

"Aw come on, there's no reason for the hostility." She waves him off, sipping the rest of her fruity alcohol through her straw.

"You think I'm cute, huh?"

"I'm gonna need another drink." They both laugh.

Thirty minutes, great conversation and three drinks later...

"You wanna get outta here?" Her low, red eyes stare back at his.

"And go where?" His eyes dim in response.

"Your place. My place. Hell, ima fuck you up in my backseat if you keep lookin' at me like that." Her thighs clench together.

"What makes you think I'd let you fuck?"

"Cause you're wet, right now." She tucks her bottom lip between her teeth.

"What about my girls?" Her phone buzzes.

She follows him out into the parking lot. The orange glow from the sun casts over her, sending him for a loop.

"Damn, you're so beautiful." She blushes, while he opens her door. She climbs inside and he does the same, taking off down the street.

"And, why is that?" He lifts her up and places her against the wall. She purrs.

"So, I can do that." His lips find her neck, sucking until a sweet spot is found. Her long legs wrap around his waist, as he moves away from the wall and over to his bed.

Tossing her onto the soft mattress, he removes his jacket, allowing his dark chocolate skin to come into view, much to her approval.

She bites her lip, watching his jeans hit the floor next. Her eyes travel below his v-cut, to his very noticeable print.

Tapping her leg, her gaze lands back on his face. Her face flushed red with slight embarrassment.

He smirks, pulling her thighs apart and lifting her skirt to remove her panties, when he realizes she isn't wearing any.

"...shit." She throbs at his gaze on her lower lips. Her heel clad foot finds its way on his bare chest.

"Like what you see, huh?" He doesn't answer her, but rather grabs her leg and straightens it towards the ceiling.

Sinking between her legs, he wastes no time latching onto her clit. A gasp leaves her mouth, while her hand grips the back of his neck.

i know he’s a product of their dad just as much as she is, their mother’s death had to hit him harder too because she was too young to really know her but he’s older, probably felt the absence a lot more. their stepmother being just a reflection of their already garbage father in some ways had to also suck. but isn’t it all the more reason to give a shit about your little sister and not have to live your entire life with regret for how you treated her 90% of the time growing up? she died and you have to live with knowing that you didn’t do anything to make her life easier, and you don’t get to say your sorrys nor do you get forgiveness. you mourn with this heavy weight of guilt, that you could’ve made her short time on this fucked up earth a little brighter!!!

would he have even gotten his shit together if she lived? or would he just become his dad? honestly ... i think he would’ve just become his dad ... like when he said that her death made him get his act together i really believe it. i don’t think he would have taken any kind of steps to break the cycle ... no ... and he might not have even been any kinder to m/ac. nah. he would’ve continued being just as bad as their dad, cherrypicking what moments he would defend her in or be there for her in. it’s the emptiness of her absence that makes him realize that she meant more to him than he thought. because of course it would be!

AND SHE LITERALLY STILL THOUGHT HE WAS SO COOL MOST OF THE TIME ... accepted his hand me downs ... could have taken mom’s stuff but nah, thought his shit looked cooler. why do you think she always stole your walkman ... she thinks your taste in music rocks ... and the way this is all she’s ever really known. this abuse ... like she just thinks it’s normal. so what reference point does she even have to realize that you should have been kinder. that brothers aren’t supposed to peer pressure you into doing shit for their own amusement, they aren’t supposed to use you as a punching bag, not supposed to belittle or mock every little thing that brings you joy ... he probably looked back on all that shit and finally like fully recognized that there was hardly a soft moment in her life when all she wanted was for things to be softer. she puts up this cold and tough act all the time, but come on ... have you seen her. she cares so much about others but she’s afraid to show it because if you do you’re weak, at least that’s the connection she makes when she sees the behaviors of her dad, of d/ylan, even of a/lice. her bedroom, some level of a sanctuary even though there’s no real safety to be had in her home ... she just wants to read her sweet valley high books and have real friends to just be kids with and all that ... being a girl scout is fun but it’s still rough when you don’t exactly fit in and you still have to come home to endless insults being hurled your way making fun of you for wanting to do something, anything, to feel like a normal kid. and if she never died? he would’ve just kept it up.

that’s just me tho. i think d/ylan is just selfish and not acting entirely out of kindness, but more of a place of trying to lift the guilt he lived with for decades and try to earn her forgiveness. there is kindness there, obviously ... i mean he’s a father now, a lot of things have changed between her death and when she comes to the future and finds him ... but this second chance, it’s more about making himself feel better. like yes ... he’s gone through his stages of grief ... must have made his own peace with it ... but then saw her and after realizing it was real and not just some weird prank it all reset and he was a teenager again looking at his kid sister and knowing what was coming ... what else do you do with a second chance like that ... idk! idk. shrugs. who knows. i just know he must have always cared about her like that but never actually felt a need to show it until after it was too late, and i think that is incredibly selfish regardless of what he does in the future to apologize and try to make it up to her. because at the end of the day ... she has to go back to 1988, and in 1988, you’re still going to treat her like shit.

so funny thing, ik the whole a/b/o thing has existed for years, if not forever, at least in fandom spaces, but when i was younger a show i really liked on the syfy network was called alphas, about humans with extraordinary powers that made them essentially mutants, or, alphas, i was even gonna run an rpg that mashed that show up w marvel and eureka, another show i liked and still like to a point tho the autism storylines they had that i appreciated as a kid i don't appreciate as much now bc it was very 'mom of an autistic who wants to cure autism bc its oh so hard for her to not be able to communicate with her child the way normal parents do' (note: he was semi-verbal, but still could express his needs and everything, like) and not written by an actual autistic w care for the fucking character and the solution was in s4 when they decided to do a time travel plot that completely ignored everything from season 1 about time travel, he was 'no longer autistic and perfectly normal' and even changed the actor out who was the same age as me same year and almost same day i think idk and thats really when i got super fucking pissed off but thats besides the point, anyways--
