Based on this AU

Maybe it happens at the very beginning of the apocalypse

the panic of keeping you locked at your place of work or you’re just desperate to get home

But you get out much to their dismay

I guess you can be somewhat grateful for the apocalypse that keeps your coworkers’ attention divided

Whether you make it home or get bitten before then the zombie disease is going to claim you

Or maybe it doesn’t

Imagine being found in your home preparing for your death

Only for Sebastian to appear with an angry vein on his forehead

“So you thought a mere infection was enough to avoid us? I’m disappointed in you, (Y/n).”

What makes you think he hasn’t already done a blood test to see if you were immune

You’re sure to be chewed out by everyone in the manor

Treated like you’re the biggest baby

For leaving the manor where you could have avoided this whole paranoic tirade

It's incredibly demeaning when the pre-teen is joining in on the babying

But heaven’s forbid you aren’t immune and you do succumb to the zombie

By the time you’re officially turned the entirety of the manor has found you and they are horrified

In almost the same fashion Sebastian is already steps ahead within a day of the Zombie apocalypse beginning he’s already crafted a cure

After all, he is a Phantomhive butler and it’s a small feat to make a cure or at least a temporary solution

It doesn’t matter to him that you escaped

Heck he might’ve let you run just so he could justify giving it to you

The only problem now is that there’s the eyes of everyone in the manor

So he wouldn’t mind letting you run just so he could kick off his latest plan to keep you

He doesn’t want to change you

He’d hate that

The way you fight is part of the thrill

But if Sebastian and Ciel deem it fit they’re willing to ease it

Crafting a solution that will make you more sluggish

You won’t be a zombie but you’ll walk around like it

That is if you’re not with the group

Whether it’s a scented pheromone or a mildly hypnotizing technique

You’ll never want to leave again

It does not matter to them

You will not be leaving

Whether you’re bitten or not

Those in the Phantomhive Manor will not be letting you leave them

Or letting anyone take you away

Having to split off when Malleus is learning

Or there all on the hunt when you both just run off to goof around

You’ll probably be allowed to go into Night Raven maybe along with Sebek as a first year

Where keeping you safe doesn’t get any easier

Only now does Malleus truly begin to realize what Lilia and Sebek go through when they freak out about where you’ve gone

He too is gritting his teeth when he thinks of you trying to run off to another dorm to hang out with your human/mermaid/beastman friends

Malleus doesn’t feel great trying to contain you

He actually struggles to despite your gap in age

You’re a pretty even match

But he won’t admit it

It’ll hurt your brother’s pride if you do

So he’ll do his best to convince you to stay near him or at least close by

And when you don’t obey he’ll have to get creative

Like making a necklace that he can hear you from

Or forcing you to help him befriend your friends so he can come by whenever you happen to be around

Too bad it’s the killing game of Danganronpa

And of course, with you thrown in the middle things are really unpredictable

It’s one thing to love a meaner character through the screen but in person, it’s pretty hard

despite your inclination to maintain your usual smile and gentle actions

After a while, you just stop trying

That was it.

That was the last straw for you. Toko could have all his time and attention for all you care. The sheer fact you’ve put up with this for so long disgusts you. Toko was excited that her Byakuya-sama had finally chased you. A rival weak enough to be effected by words wasn’t much of a rival at all! But upon your absence in only a few hours into his daily routine Byakuya had made an intense realization.

That he desperately desired your attention on him.

He didn’t have to actually see you skirting your routine with him to know he hated the thought of you spending any amount of time with his classmates rivals. It literally made his skin itch and his throat close up with every minute away from you. Naturally he doesn’t care that even Toko is unnerved by the tantrum he throws. Books are strewn about, the shelves dangerously leaning against one another. All of it just an emphasis of the palpable malice emanating off of Byakuya. In the middle of the ruins he just stands still.

Alarmingly still.

Like a predator looking out.

Are they hunting? Scoping? Contemplating the ways to torture their enemies?

No one really knows.

Even when he pulls at his hair and belts out in an uncouth laughing fit. In an instant he stops demanding Monokuma show himself this instant. He needed to find you. Now. He’ll make it a point to inform the headmaster of his own teaching.

Because apparently you–being the kind and gentle soul you are should be able to withstand all kinds of people. Especially him. Always him. So he’ll offer his own guidance by keeping you within arms reach at all times.

He expects you to persist against anything he can throw at you.

“Wait what!?”

Your eyes are so heavy you can barely see

Your body too is like concrete

And the Hot and Cold chills changing from an inescapable savanna to the North side of the Arctic

It’s honestly a miracle you were able to call at all

For all his nagging and disturbing actions for the time being he is your official boss

It would be unprofessional not to say something

You also must be in such a haze because you only called him and not the assistant manager

After you make the call, you return to the pillow and you slip back into a feverish sleep

Of course unbeknownst to you the Manager is losing it

The other employees have probably gotten the gist after he launched a chair into the breakroom wall and began angrily mumbling to himself

“B-b-boss, why don’t you go visit them? Like, offer to take care of them!”

“Y-y-yeah j-j-j-ust give us the keys for lock up and you can go pick up some soup for them or something. Y-you still have their key right?”

Like an instant change of night and day, the Manager is all smiles as he easily wrenches the chair from the new hole in the wall

“Thanks, guys! I promise not to secretly apply those pay cuts I wanted to. I’ll also be sure to give you a pizza party. And for good measure, I won’t slash your tires. ”

With a skip in his step, Clyde is on his way to your house after visiting the local pharmacy and employing his manager's discount

Where he keeps himself busy because staring at your labored breathing scares him

He’ll pop into check on you but for his health he can’t be by your side 24/7

At the end of the day, if your temperature hasn’t gone down, he might call his special doctor

Now don’t try asking for their credentials–they’ll just ignore you

But they’ll make sure you’ll pull through from this

“W-what are you doing in my house?”

“Now do you want takeout or homemade chili? Also, I don’t approve of your shift changes so you’ll have to come in your usual times.”

When you are well enough to physically push him out he’ll start concluding his visit

For all his whining he is quite pleased

The haul was magnificent this time around

“Okay bye guys. Jared, I’m trusted you with the home!”

“You got it, babe. Bring home some bark if you have the time.”

*Muffled* “Noooo! Waaaiiiittt (Yyyy/nnnn) please! I promise I won’t put thumbtacks in your shoes.. anymore! I’m sorrryyy!!! Please!--”

The sound of the door slamming shut starts Chryst on a whole new set of tears

Jared looks at the watch he has and knows he’s got a good three hours before he can even think about taking the padlock off Chryst’s door

So he indulges in his favorite activity in the meantime

Running on the treadmill next to his favorite picture of you running

If he’s feeling especially proud he’ll go for a run and stop by his favorite smoothie place

That has a perfect view of your work place+

“Now that’s a view.”

He hates how often he gets approached

he has to remind you next time to get him a ring

only for appearances of course

When he returns home first thing he does is stick his tall ears against the bedroom door before unlocking it

Immediately darting into his chest, Chryst hugs him tightly just happy to not be alone

Then he darts into your room to ruin your bed to aggressively inhale your scent

And your closet

And your laundry

When he’s done with that he’ll go find Jared again this time to plan on his next scheme to keep you from leaving for work the next day

Jared doesn’t say anything, he just finishes what’s left of his smoothie warning him when he gets too intense

“Maybe before they take their lunch I could put something special in there!”

“Okay.”

“Maybe something that makes them all sleepy and cuddly again!”

“Sure.”

“And for extra–good measure, I’ll cut the brake lines in their car!”

“Okay. That’s too far.”

But if he’s already thought up a good plan he’ll move on to other things

“Have you ever noticed our neighbor is around (Y/n)’s age?”

“Yeah so?”

“I…don’t want them to exist anymore.”

“Me neither. But we’ll be first suspects so no go.”

“Would that still be the case if we cut his brakes?”

“....No.”

“Good.”

They hold down the fort waiting for the minute you come home

“Hey guys I’m home–Ooof!”

“Oh (Y/n)!!!! I missed you so much!”

He buries his head into your chest so hard the first time it feels like he’s trying to suffocate you

Jason on the other hand will stand a ways away pouting and tapping his feet until you give him his scheduled pat and boop on the nose

“Hey to you too, casanova!”

“Hmph remembering me are you? Good for you.”

“Not just that I got you that bark you wanted.”

“...Thanks.” “(Y/n) hurry up take off your work clothes they smell like a gaggle of predators!”

“Okay okay! Don’t unbutton that! I’ll do it myself geez!”

They’re happy to have you back

Now they can both be fully at peace

At least until the next time you leave

I've been reading a lot of Korean isekai webcomics lately and given me an idea of being Malleus or Leona fiance who he didn't even love at all ( liked he thinks they are being too clingy or something like that but in reality they care about them and try help them out with daily tasks and try to bring something interesting to lighten the mood or the very least lift up their mood to at least feel better )

and reader taken over the body of said fiance and just like " I don't wanna get killed, or die, I have magic to help me out so I'll just run away from here " and just left him to venture out in the world maybe settle in somewhere outside of the kingdom to somewhere else in a small village to settle, and when they realize that how much their former finance care for them and realize they are no longer in the castle and looking for them

And what do they feel when they see her ( fae or beastwoman ) with a human male who made her really happy when they found her

And if you’ve taken a guardian role to some poor orphan child they copy the behavior

Constantly reminding him of your supposed dislike

He’s not fond of this version of you at all

So he lingers like a dog kicked outside

Watching from a close distance as you live your new life

Sparking something in him as he finds you absolutely alluring at every angle

Suddenly that human’s pleas for his return become the static of something irritating

He needed you to come back and if a distraction was what was stopping you then so be it
