hi everyone. so i've been working on this on and off for....several.....months ???? now??? and um. well. it's not quite done but i want to share it with the world anyway

in case you're wondering: i started watching wttt videos. i thought "man this is great but i want to just watch the ones with maine. i wish i knew what ones maine was in." then i decided to make a spreadsheet and watch Every Video There Was so that i would know which ones maine is in. (it's 15 of them. maine is in 15 videos and the one that posted today with a moose and a lobster in the thumbnail is not one of them.)

Wttt Alaska head canons, by an Alaskan (and someone with a hobby in international diplomacy)

Alaska has a, working relationship with Japan, and Canada. Since companies from them own a lot of the mines here.

Alaska also has 1 (one) friend other than Hawai'i. That being Peurto Rico. They go back to the 1920s, when Ernest Greuning ran PR's schools before coming to Alaska. Wherever PR gets hit by a Hurricane, Alaska is there to help clean up the mess

PR views Alaska as a sort of, older Brother. (Even though PR had been Colonized earlier, and has more people than AK.)

Alaska also has a, rocky, relationship with Russia. That being, Russia wants Alaska back, and Alaska wants nothing to do with Russia.

Alaska does feel sorry for the Siberian Republics in Russia.

The first time he met a Russian City, was when St. Petersburg sold him to the USA.

The last time he saw a Russian City, was when Moscow was "Representing" the USSR during WW2

Alaska actually doesn't mind the large US military presence in his territory. Sure he can handle drunks, idiots, bears and the like. But if Russia came calling? He wouldn't be able to fight him off alone.

However, when everyone thought Hawai'i was going to be nuked, he had to be held back by Texas, California, and the Entire eastern Seaboard, Plus the Yukon Territory (who was visiting at the time) from singlehandedly tearing North Korea into paste.

He gets along decently well with the Yukon and Northern Territories in Canada.

Sometimes he thinks about trying to join Canada. Then he remembers the Canadian Gov's stance on Guns. And he thinks "you know what. I'm good enough here."

If given the chance, Alaska would drop kick Moscow into the sun. Gov be damned.

Alaska also has nukes. And he's very much not afraid to use them. (If the Damn DODad would let him)

Ok so, I don’t know why, but Alaska definitely is a dark chocolate enjoyer, I’ve heard people hc him commonly with black coffee as well so I think that’s nice too. I don’t think he’s that big on like, candy candy (like not chocolate candy) tho - AND ALSO; I’ve been willing to make an exception to Alaska speaking Russian, cuz although I’d like to separate Alaska’s culture from Russia cuz Alaska has our own cultural things, the Aleutes (and Inupiaq) I have read and heard, adopted around 600 Russian words so they speak a mix of their own language and Russian

according to my jank estimations and photoshop calculations, assuming the states have average proportions, and counting in for hair and the hat, alaska is roughly 2.3 heads taller than rhode island, or a 53 cm / 1'9" difference

(note: i don't think, in this screenshot, the characters are scaled up or down (noticeably) from ben's regular size)

if we're going to assume that, as the largest and smallest states, rhode island and alaska are on equal and opposite ends of average height (5'9"/175.3cm), this would make alaska 6'6"/201.8 cm and rhode island 4'8"/148.8 cm

anyways alaska is quite a silly little place ain’t it? I looked at some rates, people go vanished in Alaska to rates of almost 50%, to compare it to the others, the next highest rate is Arizona with just barely 13%, and everyone else is under 8%. Not to mention, much of the cases, neither body or clues are ever found, either, and if a person fell into the water they would’ve floated back up sometime somewhere eventually. The people of Nome, Alaska have an over 50% rate of people going missing and it’s so bad the people thought there was perhaps a killer around and they actually called for the FBI to investigate what was happening, and the FBI came to the conclusion that m a y b e people get drunk, lose their way home and get lost elsewhere. The thing is, Nome is a very flat place, and there’s not much trees there either, and the place isn’t that big. You can’t get lost in the lack of woods there, and if you fell into the water something or you will be found washed up somewhere eventually. Another strange place is Portlock, Alaska, which is now a ghost town, but it used to be a place that was flourished since the 1700s but a bunch of unexplained deaths happened there, assumed to either be many murders and suicides, but it happened so much that literally everyone who was there just up and abandoned the area cause they were all scared of just disappearing and dying so fast. I know everyone says Alaska is the place you go to to get away, so at least that’s a part truth (the Alaska Triangle is another post for another time)

Also yea Alaskas low population and population density would obviously mean the rates would be higher, but states like his population and population density, have rates under 8%, unlike his high percentage, so it’s still odd TL;DR Alaska is so subtly strange, yet no one talks about it - in which I only talk a very small amount of the missing persons rates in Alaska

listen, folks, I looked at a lot of ranked beauty states (not them as people, like as the state by itself or landscapes) and Alaska, California, and Hawai’i tend to be the top 3, and this is what I always think about. A president in the past even banned billboards in Alaska because they thought it was beautiful up here and they wanted to keep it that way

Also, Alaska HAS basically stated he does not care for nudity about twice before. I doubt he’d even think twice about wearing a dress

also he has dip hips because I said so.
