a patron i helped at the computer like a week ago came into the library today to give me a "present" he made as a "thank you" and it was a huge ass wooden cross with real nails in it. the vibe is extremely Evangelical and not Episcopal. like there's an alternative universe version of this story about a cool GOTH CROSS I was gifted, but this felt like being handed a Precious Moments figurine except it weighs several pounds and is judging me. also I do not know this man we did not have a real conversation about anything LET ALONE RELIGION.
