For the "Canon Families" Ask Game:

I'm trying to recollect if at any point that Janos Audron and Umah were distinct relatives of mine. I know that neither of them were "canonically", but I almost want to see Janos as a father or grandfather figure to me due to his usually calm and gentle presence upon helping me as patient as he has been with me; whereas Umah on the other hand, I see her as either a sister or a cousin of mine. Probably the latter for Umah, I didn't necessarily "encounter" her in what the games had shown to the "audience" (players) due to her only appearance showing in Blood Omen 2, but something probably happened "behind-the-scenes" of what the players don't know. Umah probably helped guide Kain into finding my tomb in the first place as a request to resurrect me before their relationship had a falling-out due to some betrayal I'm not all-too-familiar with on who's side I'm supposed to take.

It would probably make better sense if Umah was rather a distant cousin of mine due to the major timeline era difference, seeing as I now question how Kain had even found my Human corpse as a Sarafan in the first place before he chose me to turn into his first Vampire amongst my fellow brethren who followed after. I don't recollect knowing him as a Human, but then again I don't remember my own Human past either, so this leaves me in a conundrum. I might understand the reasoning has something to do with my brave nobility or the amount of enemies I could have slain in my past as a Sarafan, but rather who exactly told Kain to find me of all people or what helped him seek for me to become a part of his at-the-time-small Vampiric army he had formed at the time.

As for Vorador, I highly doubt there's much relations between us; at best either I think he adopted Umah as one of his own brood (offspring) or is a father or some great grandfather in the bloodline to her, but nothing more or less.

Some of these seem to make sense to me, but I'm not fully sure at this time so I'll have to let it dwell on my mind until I'm absolutely certain of what's false or true. Keep in mind, Kain and I have unfortunately caused enough paradoxes in the timelines due to our involvements with Moebius the Time Streamer. So at this rate anything could be possible I suppose.

I find myself relating to it once more even in this life as I had dealt with the daily struggles of my mortality rate such as my physical and mental health, along with my emotions battling against each other within my mindset; While the meaning is different in my previous life compared to now, I find it still holds up to this day even if the meaning has changed to a different interpretation as my life has spiraled a couple of times due to either how I've been handling either my physical and/or mental health where I can zone-out to the point time feels "paused" in times if I occasionally do nothing in particular (i.e., hobbies, travel, etc.) with my life.

In continuation of my recent reblog, even if Kain is usually an enemy of mine ⟨⟨it really depends on the timeline, some Kains I actually can get along with and others maybe not so much or at all for that matter⟩⟩, I don't believe him to be sexist or misogynistic.

I think whoever believes the statement "that he is one" is most-likely someone ⟨generally speaking, nothing directed⟩ bitter about an old situation involving Kain and Umah's past relationship being hinted at before Kain executed Umah for her betrayal ⟨⟨his words, not mine⟩⟩ that I'm not all aware of since I was not present at the time of said event that occurred.

So to any Kains out there in the multiverse, know there is one Raziel ‹myself› who stands with you in knowing you don't behave that way. I know that some Kains may have ego issues ⟨and other Kains not-so-much have actually changed for the better making ammends⟩, but I know that ego is an entirely different thing. And even then, can you really blame the guy?

I know the Kain from my timeline was once a noble man who wanted to help protect the village in his previous Human life, only for some lower-class humans who envied Kain's privileged life to murder him out of jealousy and spite. It's unfair when you really think about it. Kain did not choose to be born into wealth, hell, nobody chooses to be born either wealthy or poor. Kain was unfairly prejudiced and had his life taken away so cruelly after wanting to be generous in helping protect those in need to give back to the at-the-time-small community of Coorhagen, only for the ungrateful to have spat it back in his face due to greed and envy; then as another slap to the face, the man was in Hell, for reasons which I do not know if due to an incident or if that was a trick by Mortanius the Necromancer to trap Kain into making the deal to become a Vampire.

It only makes sense why the man wanted vengeance when he was given the choice by Mortanius, and why Kain had his ego issues or a seemingly "upper-class" attitude. Deep down I think Kain may be slightly traumatized in his subconscious, as he revels in being a negative person at times, but either Kain doesn't want to admit it nor seek the help because maybe it would make him feel "weak", or he may not be entirely self-aware just how deeply rooted there could be some trauma he is trying to bury and forget about.

Afterall, people do tend to use emotions against one-another to pit situations onto someone through manipulation tactics. I would know as I, myself, have had my emotions pit against situations that either involved me or not. It's not fun having to be toyed with. ⟨⟨*-I'm glaring at YOU, "Elder God"-*⟩⟩

Treat people as you want to be treated, as the saying goes.

TL;DR — Raziel has defended Kain for once, the end. ~ Yours Truly

Today I have finally reached one of my goals once more, and for that I am proud of myself for reaching this achievement!

It was 5,000 Steps for 3 Days in a row.

It would seem another memory has struck me. After remembering that Malek's grave was part of the "Tomb of Sarafan", I've come to realize there may be a chance he and I were related to a degree. As to what type of family member, I'm unsure.

Unlike my fellow Sarafan brethren, a majority of them were not truly related to me ⟨except for Turel and Dumah being possibly related with, considering how Kain pawned them into casting me into The Abyss to make the familial wounds deeper between us; either way, I definitely know that Rahab, Zephon and Melchiah were not related to me at all.⟩, but I still considered their likeness akin to being "relatives" without blood-relation even into Vampirehood.

However, with Malek the Paladin on the other hand... he may have been a blood relative of mine. I've noticed that he wasn't really referred as a brother to any of us ⟨not counting from the “The Sarafan Brotherhood” title itself, but rather in a "family-wise" reference⟩ since I understand he was previously a Commander to me and my Sarafan brethren.

Unless... maybe he could have been my own Father? Maybe an Uncle even?

...Perhaps I'm just reaching too far for answers I lack in, yet it's liberating to have more freedom now in this life compared to my previous since I'm no longer under the Elder God's control nor of Kain's either. Even if Malek was a father ⟨or uncle⟩ of mine, maybe he easily helped me rise up to one of the higher Lieutenant ranks I once had due to said familial relation by association.
