#did she go to lumiose by car?? ash is still on the route before #ok sorry but thinking abt how much smoother this wouldve been if serena was just there from episode 1. yeah the rhyhorn plot would have to b #would have to be tweaked but tbh i find that really obnoxious anyways so i wouldnt really mind if that got moved #echoed voice #pokeani lb #i think a protag chasing ash for a bit before joining him is interesting and i like these moments of her on her own actually #but man do i wish she just…. had a fennekin from the get go or was already in lumiose to get her first pokemon #plus if shes taking the players place why not have her move there and have a fresh start alongside ash? #its not bad that shes not exactly like the game counterpart bc none of them are. hell may didnt actually move to hoenn at the start #but she was still good when she started off. w serena tho i feel like it really wouldve helped her bond w ash #give them common ground. maybe establish that she had to move all the time which is how they knew each other in kanto #idk just. dont go ‘’oh she became a trainer for a boy on a whim’’ cmon now #theyre both unfamiliar with the territory and serena wants to sightsee or get away from her mom #wait just ‘’getting away from mom’’ wouldve made more sense
