mdzs read diary part IV, the end
Tumblr media
It’s inspiring how much self care wwx is gonna finally get now that his husband will go along with whatever he does, so he’s gotta look out for lwj’s well being if not his own. that is emphatically the STUFF
Tumblr media
dragging my hands down I face as I read this, after all these chapters of getting up close and personal with ghouls bleeding from every orifice, slaying ancient beasts, rebelling against the entire cultivation world, the two of them are absolutely paralyzed by middle school crush sleepover math
Tumblr media
chicken
Tumblr media
he actually drew kissy doodles .... he....
Tumblr media
IDK I THINK I JUST DOCUMENTED THIS PART CUZ I WAS STILL SCREAMING you cant expect me to have very useful things to say at this point
Tumblr media
this is torture you are both so mushy you are so GONE
Tumblr media
This part really stood out to me, it’s an attitude I feel like wwx implies with his inner narration a few times but most clearly says here: he’s not one for allowing himself to exaggerate how bad his circumstances are/could be even a little bit - he’s already lived through some extreme low points and found a way to keep going, so he never makes sweeping statements about what he couldn’t live without (Inner JingYi: you’re supposed to say you’d be lost without him here!!!) Instead he seems to accept as a given that being alive doesn’t guarantee him any pleasantness or joy at all, and as a result his feelings toward being in TRUE LOVE are surprisingly pragmatic, but also colored with such gratitude. There are a lot of things in the novel that struck me, like this, as being just a little to the left of familiar tropes/sentiments, and were more touching for it. Whether it be the influence of culture difference as opposed to what I’m used to reading in most western romance stories, or MXTX’s unique outlook, or a combination of both, it was really refreshing and made me pause over it. Not “I can’t imagine living without you” but “I could be living without you, but instead I get to be with you and I think that’s the best thing that could happen.”
Tumblr media
ADJFDKFJ THE UST BEING SO STRONG THAT EVEN THE VILLAIN COMMENTS ON IT IN THE MIDDLE OF EXECUTING HIS EVIL PLANS IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT WILL NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME LAUGH MY ASS OFF. hes like god damn! here I thought I had problems
Tumblr media
it was at this moment that I realized we were doing this Now... I’m still recovering. What a scene. I am so glad I saw the most incredible fanart soon afterwards, bc the fact that someone has already drawn a perfect comic of this part means I don’t have to
Tumblr media
I love you so much, you are so annoying, you are perfect... I like how he’s been experiencing openly requited love for all of ten minutes but he’s already figured out how to weaponize it to piss people off
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
doing!!! his!!! job!!!!!
Tumblr media
ahh... it’s a really good story. JGY is a great character. One of the most interesting differences for me between drama watching vs. novel reading experience is that without an actor to bat his vulnerable doe eyes at you and smile faintly with his cute dimples, the book does not go much out of its way to try to lull the reader into a false sense of security around him or *endear* him to you the way the show does. But just by seeing events through wei wuxian’s POV, its still enough to evoke pity or understanding towards him. The overall impression is a bit more detached though, there’s less emphasis on the spectacle of how he could manipulate everyone closest to him and more of a general feeling of resigned tragedy that everyones the worst on this bitch of an earth.
Tumblr media
I CANNOT DEAL WITH YOU FOR EVEN ONE MORE SECOND!!!!
I clearly paused to take note of less and less parts at the end & the extras due to: a) too excited to reach the end b) too spicy to photograph and c) too sleepy cuz I kept reading in the middle of the night. but I absolutely took the time for Bro We Are Teens appreciation corner:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’d absolutely read 40 more extra chapters of their monster-of-the-week field trip antics.
Tumblr media
god... poor Jin Ling now basically has to deal with divorced parents that talk shit about each other to him whenever he is saying with one of them. except they are both his uncles. just a disasterhood of all uncles from start to finish. AUUUGH wei wuxian and jiang cheng have fucked me up completely, I dream of them reconciling but I also REFUSE to believe it would ever be easy. let me know if theres a fanfic that absolutely tortures you for decades before they hug
Tumblr media
HAHAHA oh no this man ain’t making it to immortality thats for damn sure. HE’S JUST GONNA TRY AS HARD AS HE CAN HIS WHOLE LIFE NOT TO LOOK AT HIM BUT THEYRE *MARRIED* SDLKFJSF ohhhh it’s too funny, like... the mundane domestic family drama IN the fantastical swords and sorcery setting is what really ratchets up these things from amusing to fucking hilarious I think
aaaa the end... final random thoughts? No not final, I would like to please keep discussing at length and exhaustively, all the time please - CQL has gotta be one of the best TV adaptations I’ve seen. ANY adaptation of anything would be lucky to be so good!! reading the novel has just made me appreciate it even more.
- I don’t think I can do justice to what I find most fascinating about comparing the two versions briefly, to do that I need to get drunk and ramble at my friends for hours but... the condensed version is something like this. Really all the significant differences between the two versions (besides the ones which can be attributed to censorship and therefore aren’t worth discussing) are a side effect of the structure of how the story is told - there’s barely anything changed arbitrarily. Aside from having a cold opening, the drama sticks to a very linear version of the story, and I think for a TV show or film, that’s probably the best way to do it. We see everything, we get shocked and tricked and betrayed and surprised along with the characters, we feel the biggest impact at the climactic scenes having experienced all the build-up. The novel on the other hand is not only much more non-linear in WHEN we learn bits and pieces of information, but that information is also obfuscated under wei wuxian’s multiple layers of Unreliable Narratoritis, which are as follows: 1) difficulty remembering things because of personality/avoiding painful memories/actual memory loss, 2) No Homo Goggles still on, and 3) a wry sense of humor that makes the reader unsure of how much they can trust his attitude toward things, especially near the beginning. The experience of reading is a puzzle the reader has to mentally piece together through all of the above listed camouflage, and the puzzle itself is a three-sided mystery: One - How Bad of a guy was Wei WuXian really, and how exactly did all the bad stuff in his life go down; Two - wangxian epic pride & prejudice gambits; Three - political murder mystery. (I love stories like this btw... though I fully admit I’m glad I watched first this time bc it might have taken me a long time to tackle otherwise.) Because of this, where the drama wants to pull you in and submerge you in all the most potent emotional parts, the novel in direct contrast deliberately side-steps around these things and asks that you hurt yourself by filling in the blanks. In fact the more intense emotions and painful memories involved, whether it be his relationship with jiang yanli, his DEATH, the darkest days of war times etc, the more the novel evasively withholds details. I actually really like both styles of storytelling but each one is obviously way better suited to its medium. ANYWAY.... THATS BASICALLY WHERE MY BRAINS AT WHILE IM READING GAY SWORD WIZARD BOOKS
- The extras are so saturated with domestic married bliss that it’s a good thing I stopped taking pictures because I’d just take a picture of every page. this is too much for me to take... I did jump the gun a few times and read a few fanfics while I was still mid-read of the book (I tried to hold out but alas I am mortal) and at one point after finishing I was like “wow what fic was it in where lwj says something cute and wwx kisses him in public but they’re in the corner of the restaurant so no one really sees... OH NO WAIT that was actually in there.” and ... and that’s the LEAST OF IT... *stares into the distance* theyre married wow
- I ofc couldn’t help but see a few vague blogs beforehand so honestly I was braced for something like, wildly ooc for the sake of porn to happen in the extras... I definitely appreciate how the incense burner porn interludes could be uhhh a lot for many people and not my personal cup of tea in terms of smut however [here follows the words of a poisonous frog who has dwelt her whole life in the rainforests of BL] the concept is also surprisingly SWEET SDFLKJF like wwx sees lan wangji’s darkest mixed-up violent teenage fantasies and he’s just like aww babe you had a crush on me!! just... good for them
- I swear I’m not gonna rehash every cute married thing they do but wei wuxian grading papers in the tub........................rEALLY GOT ME
- I want to Draw - ok thats enough if I keep going I’ll just write “wei wuxian grading papers in the tub” seven more times probably

I was wondering if you were planning on doing EZ reviews. I personally think if you get past the Erza clone and the similarities in looks with some characters that the story is very well and actually has a better plot than FT did.
So I’m going to give my surface level response on this and I will be fair on my stance like I usually try to. In the most general term, I don’t really review a series I don’t care about. If you notice I haven’t done a review of Black Clover in a while, its mainly cause this current arc is something I don’t really care about and it would feel like a drain on both me and my audience to here that each week. I’m sure my audience and EZ fans probably don’t wanna hear me belly ache about the series week to week.
This series really does show me that its made for people who like Hiro Mashima’s work. And if you do, more power to you, but your probably not going to enjoy my usually dissecting review style.
So right here I’m going to give my thoughts on the series to this point, and I wanna start positively. I do agree that the plot to Eden’s Zero is much better structured than FT’s once you get past the Elsie stuff. The four star shine robots plot to get to Mother actually seems like a good plotting out of how to take this story. It really reminds me of finding the four rave’s.
I also think I’ve mentioned this back in my former reviews, but the setting to is also interesting too, and forces world building. Though, I’d like them to experience the world rather than Witch just read of a synopsis of the world. Yeah having an internet in the world does kinda kill the sense of adventure.
And I will also say that I’m happy that most the cast has motivation unlike most of FT.
And with that we lead into my problems with the  story. First as I mentioned, the the plot does have better structure once you get past the Elsie stuff, the problem is that before that the pacing and plot seems really really slow, very confused, and then introduces such a high concept like time being eaten and going to other worlds in the past. While I do appreciate Hiro trying for a slower pace in the beginning, he’s doesn’t use it interestingly. He could take this time to explain the government or how these cosmos work? Is there king of space? Could the cosmos be cut up like the blues in One Piece? Or how about my biggest question, WHAT THE FUCK IS ETHER GEAR?! No we need more time travel and friendship!
Then there’s the first arc with this whole sister stuff. I will give credit that Rogue Out as villains aren’t too bad. Jin is obviously the best because he might heel turn, the sumo looking guy isn’t overtly evil, which was nice, and I could kinda get into Sister’s whole thing of just doing what she is paid to do as a motivation. But all villains except them are the usual Hiro Mashima bland weirdos with no characterization.
This Illega guy, I was expecting maybe a twist with him and why he has a collection of girls was maybe something subversive. Maybe he is trying to bring back tourism to his planet and by kidnapping B-cubers he was going to make them make the planet more entertaining, I mean Rebecca had a whole chapter praising them as coming up with fun things to do. Maybe he has a child who has an ether gear that made them look human and left him after the planet got closed off saying they’ll become a B-cuber, so he’s kid napping B-cubers to see if that one is her and that stuff that makes them stone should make his child reveal her true form.
No, he’s just a creep who likes turning women into furniture. Because… And that guy Wise’s intro arc who is just a common thug with his leg fetish brothers.
So I can’t call that story well done. If it takes till the Elsie arc to actually get to the plot actually moving forward and that this current arc is this bland and boring arc with everything being in the morally black, its not interesting.
How about the characters? Well, Shiki I’ll at least be fair, is actually gotten better than Natsu mainly cause he’s trying to be proactive. I’ll even give his gravity power at least seems to have more creativity than the generic fire dragon magic. But he’s such a confused and bland character. I mentioned this in my review chapter 1, Shiki’s strongest aspect is his social awkwardness and how that related to being raised around machines in a fantasy park. But he wants Shiki to be like your usual big damn hero whenever the time comes for him to look cool.
I recently watched an interesting piece on how My Hero’s Deku and Black Clover’s Asta represented two different types of shounen protagonists and ways to take a story. With Deku being a representation of the protagonist who needs to grow physically and emotionally into the pillar of his world that can inspire and fufil his dream, while Asta already is the pillar of his world who already can inspire and needs to earn recognition. Both of these types of protagonist are fine, but Shiki is trying to be both of them and it results in none of them. He seemingly needs to grow into a person who can actually get a ton of friends, but he also is apparently the kid who will rock the universe. It just results in a confused character, why does he act like such an idiot when he’s completely competent in action scenes?
And what makes him endearing? Say robots have a heart? Dude all the robots in this series have shown the ability to make expression and have emotion. We saw an android walk the street in chapter 2! Why do machines act like Shiki just told them the word of god after he says they have a heart, they all emote. Look at Pino and especially Witch, they’re displaying a range of emotion. Its not like they look like a cyberman who talks mechanically.
He’s just confused and unfortunately falls always back into that friendship shit as his only motivator instead of possibly addressing the trauma or adding a layer on how he won’t lose other people and what that feels like for him. The only time it really felt like he was living up to that emotionally stunned guy, was when he was beating the shit out of Illega to the point that Pino needed to shut him off, because I’m sure this kid can’t handle the emotion of anger quite yet in this situation.
Rebecca I think is worse though. I don’t know why people like her other than her design. Her personality is essentially jelly that can be morphed into whatever you want to fit the situation. She’s perverted in some scenes, but then doesn’t like perversion? I mean, she gets two guns in her hands and looks like a moron shooting randomly. Like is that badass? Is this what a female character has to do to be considered cool now?
I don’t consider her a rip off of Lucy, because Lucy actually had a character. Had a personality. No she is more a rip off of Elie from Rave, right down to the shooting shit up part. Only Elie made sense cause she was actually really unhinged thanks to the fact that she had no memories. But she got over it! She developed. Outside of her one past flashback with Happy, nothing about her is that interesting. I’ll also give her that she now just gets ether gear and its something she clearly can’t control yet, so there is room for improvement.
Wise, is actually an okay character. He’s got a cool concept of a guy from the past who is an inventor living in the future. I think his only weakness is that his ether gear is stupidly OP.
Pino is… Just and ornament that looks cute. You want your daughteru character to latch onto Shiki, here. Hell, I have bet going with a friend of mine that Pino will get some upgrade and she’ll have the body of a hot teenage girl. Its not that I hate here idea of having her memory erased, but the more I see of her and to more I hear about this robots have a heart makes me wish Michael came along.
Yeah, missed opportunity, cause Michael is not only a foil to Shiki and his adoptive brother, but he also doesn’t have a humanoid face. Meaning he doesn’t get convey true emotion so he actually seems like a robot. He actually seems like he’d have a character arc about discovering wanting to be more and more human. People would call Shiki weird calling a robot his “brother” and Michael never thought about it and we know there are multiple models of Michael. Imagine how fucking devastating it would be to see yourself mass produced. Imagine he actually gets to the point that he wants a humanoid face, because he wants to emote.
No we get Pino, who basically is Carla, but lacks any of thee enjoyable sass. Because we didn’t have enough sidekicks on this cast. Also we learn EMP is how to shut off ether gear, great, this is like if Usopp just had sea-prism stone on him at all times.
Then there’s Homura, she’s awful too. I’ll at least give Rebecca that she’s likable, but Homura she is personalitiy-less and has the worse character gimmick I think I’ve seen. Its not funny, its dumb. She can also use this ether gear too, and its a sword that was apparently passed down-its fucking 10 commandments. She also just walked into this story, like wha…? I’d be fine if she was like hunting the Eden’s Zero ship and watched it take off on Bluegarden, but no, Homura just came along cause she conveniently met Wise.
I’ll give her credit that the sword fighting looks cool, and I understand why people might like her cause that actually seems like something badass, but as a character she just feels tacked on.
Then there’s witch who is basically just the older sister character.
Elsie is not awful actually. She actually is a lot different from Erza and I actually would like to follow the space pirates more than I would want these random travelers. Also quick question, why do they still have the Eden’s Zero looking like a pirate ship? I mean, it looks cool, but these fuckers are not pirates, not even close. Oh wait, I know! We needed to rip off captain Harlock some more.
I’m not going to even talk about the potential love square with Shiki, Rebecca and Lavilla/Labilla, possibly Esie and Homura (?) cause one credit to FT was it wasn’t a harem, and Rave used a character like Celia and Beruka to more add an extra layer to the relationship of Elie and Haru. SO hoping Hiro avoids that.
So yeah if this rant has probably showed you, I don’t think EZ is all that great. But if you like it, fine I get that. I just have no interest in really talking about it week to week as even though I got down on FT, the beginning of the series was still something I enjoyed and I wanted to talk about how the current stuff had turned out. But EZ has no, beginning I liked. So I just don’t feel like I should be talking about it week to week.

« mga contestant overview #1 »
alright so this is way past due, and i should’ve posted this weeks ago when the first episode aired but guess who’s a useless netizen?! this guy. but finally i’ve managed to gather all my info and sort out a good review of each and every contestant (including those eliminated this week).
so, without further ado, i’m going to go over every contestant and my thoughts on them! this post will feature the first 5 contestants (i’ll be going over 5 in each post, otherwise my posts would be far too long).
Tumblr media
LET’S START FROM...
#4003 : kim junmyeon
Tumblr media
so, let’s start from the first time we saw mister kim, shall we. our first glimpse was in EPISODE 1, when he was shown boasting about how he made the makeup artists giggle and blush, and how his extra skill was taking ‘the perfect selca’ - now, sure, for some this might be endearing and draw in fans, since this kind of confidence is hard to find, but for me he felt a little too full of himself. sure, he’s handsome, but 1) he’s not my type and 2) i’m sure he’s no more handsome than a lot of the other contestants, so tooting his horn too much and focusing on his looks in that episode was kinda... not for me to put it lightly.
but let’s move on to EPISODE 2, now, again, a large focus was put on his visuals with him saying “i’m the good-looking singer hopeful”. it’s tasteless if you ask me, and overshadowed his performance for me - he’d left a bad taste in my mouth already by that point, and though his singing was good, it wasn’t the best (and i’m not going to even mention how self-absorbed he seemed when checking himself out in his phones reflection after his performance).
onto EPISODE 3, junmyeon was placed into TEAM A, alongside contestants #4017, #4034, #4036 and #4037. clearly he’s gathered some fans for himself already as one of the first shots of episode 3 is a girl declaring her ‘heart only beats for kim junmyeon’, which didn’t surprise me - a lot of people pick biases purely for a looks, because let me tell you i’m almost certain he’d be nowhere near as popular if he didn’t have a relatively handsome face. placed in a group where he was the main vocalist seemed like a stroke of good luck for this guy - he had no other vocalists to overshadow him, but i must say i was surprised he wasn’t chosen as leader since he seems like he’d like the attention. at least he showed he had some weaknesses (despite his tasteless confidence), when it came to dancing; he didn’t look like a dancer to me at all, and i was proved right when he was seen creaking his way through the dance moves.
the actual performance shows him, once again, highlighting appearances (though thankfully not just his own this time) but i could comfortably agree that yes, the group was made up of attractive men, though i wasn’t sure what bearing that had on them skill wise. surprisingly junmyeon had fewer lines in the performance, which i personally felt was a bad choice, since so far the most i know about him is he has an averagely good voice, and being far too cocky. i’d have liked to see him show what he really has to offer vocal wise, but whether he was given less lines, or chose to have fewer lines wasn’t clear. he finished in centre position, which was, in a way, balancing the performance out, and with his charisma is did work. the performance was strong, but i’m still not too fond of the guy, and would like to see him place less importance on his looks and more on his singing.
as much as i dread to see more of his focus on his looks, i’m hoping he shows more vocal strengths in EPISODE 4, as he’s been placed in TEAM A, a group with 4 dancers (remember he can’t dance very well, yet i’m sure the next performance will have a heavy dance focus, meaning he’s going to have to rely on his singing). i’m really hoping the focus on looks will calm down and that he’ll show us more singing, as he does have a good voice, and with some improvement he could be a great main vocalist.
#4004 : kim doyeon
Tumblr media
sadly, i don’t have a lot to say about doyeon considering she’s gotten about half the screen time kim junmyeon’s gotten. she’s a dancer, born in ‘97, and has great proportions (if being an idol doesn’t work out for her, she could definitely be a model, that’s for sure, though i’d put money on her having done modelling in the past). in EPISODE 1 we don’t see a lot of her, just a clip of her dancing, and that’s about it. it’s enough to see she’s talented, at least, and knows how to move those long limbs of hers.
EPISODE 2 shows her being the first female performance, which made her stick in my mind that was for sure. she mentions her height (an amazing 173cm) which definitely makes her stick out (in a good way!). her dance is sharp and fast, definitely showing off how well she manages to move long limbs (since usually taller individuals look a little awkward dancing). she definitely has talent, and i would say i’m rooting for her as she really has an idol vibe about her already.
so, in EPISODE 3 she’s in TEAM B with contestants #4010, #4012, #4039 and #4052, a group composed of dancers and singers. the start of the episode clearly shows someone with a banner for her (which made me smile), there’s something about the girl which makes you like her, i think - it could be her smile, but i have a feeling she’ll have a lot of fans. she’s shown in a very positive light in the clips from their practise room when she encourages her group members. of course, it could be for show - you never know with things like this, people want to look good, so they’re going to show the best them they can be, and leave out all their nasty habits (at least for some), though with doyeon i doubt it, she really seems genuinely nice.
her performance is strong, showing she not only can dance, but her vocals aren’t all that bad either, and she’s able to catch the camera like a true pro (which further makes me believe she has experience with cameras and being in front of the lens).
for EPISODE 4 she’s been placed in TEAM C, a very well rounded group with some dancers, singers and rappers (very different from TEAM A for this week). i’m looking forward to seeing was 2018 release the team will pick, and if we’ll get to see even more of kim doyeon’s dancing, singing and charisma that we’ve only been given a few little tastes of so far (this weeks performance certainly wasn’t enough to satiate my hunger to see what this girls got to offer).
#4005 : jin longguo
Tumblr media
if anyone caught my eye during the past 3 episodes it was this guy! he’s definitely my type (as some of you may have already been able to tell), but i’m a little disheartened at how little screen time he seems to get. in EPISODE 1 he showed us his amazing singing voice with an original song; very good idea in my opinion, a risk worth taking. it shows he’s creative as well as having good vocal abilities.
EPISODE 2 showed us a very expressive, fun performance from longguo, who showed that not only can he sing, he plays the ukulele too. i find it funny that he seems basically stone-faced when he’s not performing, and though it could be taken the wrong way (which i know a lot of people do, thinking they’re only putting on an expressive performance to look good), i think it adds to his charm.
onto EPISODE 3, this one showing he certainly has garnered some fans, one of the first shots depicting a sign made for him, held up among the sea of audience members. thankfully, i’m not the only one who likes him, so maybe that means he’ll go far and get more screen time as he gets more popular, but i guess we’ll just have to wait and see! in this episode he was placed in TEAM C with contestants #4026, #4038, #4040 and #4050. the group mainly made up of singers and dancers chose one of my all time favourite songs, troublemaker! the performance was, in my opinion, very good and showed off each of their skills well (and i loved the flirty performance between chungha and the guys.
so, next week, in EPISODE 4 longguo will be in TEAM D, another group of singers and dancers. i’m hoping there will be more footage of longguo next week, so i can see more of what he has to offer, as i feel positively parched right now.
#4007 : choi yoojung
Tumblr media
EPISODE 1 gave us our first look at choi yoojung, a very cute, small girl. she’s got a very pretty smile, but didn’t stand out to me all too much at first. she didn’t get a lot of screen time, so i’m not too sure what to think of her yet.
EPISODE 2 was much the same - not enough content to really have an opinion on much other than that she can dance well. at this point i knew she was a great dancer with a nice smile, and that was about it. i think she sort of seems like the exact opposite of doyeon in a way - doyeon seems to have a lot of confidence and seemed very comfortable and calm, while yoojung seemed to be kind of nervous, in a cute way. not to mention doyeon’s super tall and yoojung’s pretty short.
in EPISODE 3 yoojung was in TEAM E with contestants #4025, #4043, #4047 and #4049, a group with a mainly singers and dancers but one rapper (which in my opinion was a pretty good mix). i wasn’t too sure if i liked her rap part in the song, but she clearly tried hard.
next week, in EPISODE 4 she’ll be in TEAM E again, another group of singers and dancers and one rapper. seems to be a bit of a pattern here. i don’t have much to say about yoojung yet, so i’m hoping they’ll show more of her as time goes on and i can get more of an opinion.
#4008 : kim hyuna
Tumblr media
what don’t i have to say about kim hyuna?! everyone will remember the fiery rapper from mga season 3. when i saw her in EPISODE 1 i was surprised to say the last - last i knew she was training under royal, but apparently that relationship ended. her song choice really showed she was coming back with a vengeance, but i did wonder whether it was going to be fair having a seasoned professional in the show among all the young’uns and inexperienced newbies.
then, EPISODE 2 really showed what she’s made of. performing a song written by herself i found myself genuinely captivated by how much stage presence she has. it’s almost as if, even if she didn’t have the voice and skills she’d still be able to hold the audience’s attention somehow. i wasn’t sure if i was going to be happy she was there or not, considering she’s got a big advantage over the other contestants, and it’s pretty clear to see in my opinion when she performs, but from her performance in EPISODE 3 it was clear that she didn’t want to use her advantage to get above the other contestants unfairly. she really could have easily let the others fall behind and just put herself first, but since she didn’t it really helped me have a lot of respect for the girl. obviously, she was chosen as the leader, and though it sort of put her in the limelight a little, it was the best option since she has the most experience. also, she took her group out for dinner, and since i love food, i’d love to be in her group, so she shot up my list of favourites pretty fast.
next week, in EPISODE 4 hyuna’s going to be in TEAM C with a good mix of rappers, dancers and a single singer. i’m excited to see if hyuna lets her experience bring her above others eventually, or if she’ll put effort into making things equal - it must be a hard balance to find, but she seems smart enough to manage it. i have high hopes for hyuna, though it could just be that i’m familiar with her from season 3, but we shall see where this goes, shan’t we.
so, that’s the first five contestants! a mix of opinions i suppose, but i’ve got a lot more to go, so keep an eye out for my next mga post where i’ll be going over the next five contestants, #4009, #4010, #4011, #4012 and #4014!
catch you later, beibeis!
