Aaahh I'm so glad you like it!! i'm having a blast working out details in my spare time, i think i'm finally nailing down the Clans (i think i'm gonna go with animal based names just because fe3h/got inspo) :3

Frostblaze is actually one of Owlstar's bio daughters! They live in a Clan where kins take priority in leadership (their Clan functions more akin to a kingdom) and Owlstar wanted to keep his options open in children. This resulted in him siring a child with the only available queen at the time, Dusksong, and taking in Bee, a wily rogue who had been wanting to join for a while under the conditions she'd carry for him. His relationship with Bee, who was renamed Beesnap upon joining, is purely for their own benefit: Beesnap wanted in the Clan, Owlstar wanted heirs (should add it was one of the many ways she could "earn" a spot in the Clan, she agreed to be a surrogate). They're not fond of one another and with the way Owlstar ignores Honeypaw afterwards, she's especially not pleased with his fatherhood skills (she became very fond of her itty bitty baby who looked just like her mama in thosefirst few months, she is very much still Honeypaw's mother regardless of her relationship with Owlstar).

Fuzzy on the details, but i'm thinking the original plan was to keep him being the father a secret until Warriorhood to quietly assess them for leadership potential. Beesnap let it leak and Honeypaw, unaware of her sibling, assumed she'd be a shoe in for the position. Quietly, Owlstar took interest in his other heir instead as, in the book, she showed more "leadership potential" than her half-sister. He definitely shows more bias to Frost since she looks like him, that definitely plays a part.It's a very messy affair and has a few issues but it's what I got for now! Hoping to flesh out the Clans of this universe more!

clangen story: my longest-running clangen clan is wolfclan

founded by Wolfblossom and her mate Ospreyfern, they modeled their clan after the families of the wolves for which Wolfblossom was named. Wolfblossom and Ospreyfern would lead the clan as equals, and their kits would stay with them until they set off to make families of their own. (outsiders not accepted except to be mates with the new leader)

Stumpyfur was one of the starting apprentices alongside Antlerpetal (grey cat shown in drawings). I like to imagine those two act as siblings since they trained alongside each other. Daisypelt is like- a few moons older than them.

I like to think he got the prefix of stumpy- for how short he is. Mans got them munchkin genes in him. There was also one time I sent him on a border patrol and he hunted a rabbit on Wetclan (one of the neighboring clans) territory. That didn’t help relations with that clan :33

Absolutely love the Kittypet fae au because it makes me think about how if the canon book clans met my clans (Wolfclan, Shellclan, Tideclan) they’d be terrified because of the sheer amount of fae and fae hybrids amongst their warriors

Sounds funny, I’d love to see that, but also this just reminds me of bloodclan and god terrible idea but still a power move of Tigerstar to bring an ENTIRE PACK of fae into the forest, deranged behavior, it’s so funny.

Ft. Dawnstar and Riverflower :3 Lore below the cut!!

In the land of Fódlan, four clans of cats reside on its surface. Lionclan to the rugged north, Deerclan to the mountainous east, and Eagleclan to the lush south. (A secret fifth clan, Wolfclan, lives in the underground tunnels below but shush).

At the center, lies Starclan, a holy group of cats that guides all the clans and communicates with their ancestors. They are also responsible for training all the clan's apprentices, teaching them the Code, graduating them into warriors, and even granting clan leaders their nine lives!

But of course we know that's a load of fox dung and Dawnpaw will not stand for this!! >:3

Having ascended to leader without Starclan's blessing, Dawnstar rallies the clans against their immortal overlords. (She skipped her warrior's ceremony so she never got a name but for the record it's Dawnrise)

River starts off as a loner travelling with her father before they were both recruited into Starclan. After Dawnstar declares war, River's prefix will depend on the faction she sides with: -flower, -moon, -wind, -snow.
