My #HeroClix #GhostRider #RobbieReyes takes on an opponents’ #MachX (of the #Thunderbolts) in round three of the #WizKidsOpen at @VictoryComics last Saturday! This was my closest match all day, barring the one I actually lost (round 4 of Swiss—made it to top 8, though!). Opponent won map roll and took us to San Fran’s famous Lombard Street for a slugfest in the bushes (I love when @WizKidsGames makes maps of real-world locations). Mach X took down Ghost Rider shortly after I snapped this pic, but like a good Mystic, the feedback damage KO’d Mach X right back. The game came down to opponent’s Winter Soldier vs my Spymaster—WS had Indom and Regen, but Spymaster’s late-dial pick-a-power brought Steal Energy and Pulse Wave. After some nail-biting dice rolls, only Spymaster was left on the board. Phew! My pulls in two-booster Sealed at today's #HeroClix #WizKidsOpen. :-/ Once again, #Xmen #Xaviersschool gives me garbage… #Rockslide, in particular, is an albatross around my neck. I ended up leaving #Mondo, #Oya and #MindeeCuckoo in the booster, with the other seven figures (!) making up 300pts even. Took pics of this #TMNT #HeroClix #PizzaFace LE after I won him at a #WizKidsOpen in May, but never got around to posting them! Yes, the #TMNT2012 version of this #TMNTVillain is a living, gigantic slice of cheese-oozing #pizza on a pile of pizza boxes, and yes, those bits of sausage are... where you think. 😣 Blame @superrobot74 or someone for that! He's only got the one keyword, so I haven't gotten around to playing him yet... wish he had Monster, too, but I guess almost every character in the @TMNT franchise could qualify for that one! Pizza Face's debut (and basically only) episode was one that really stretched the strange ethics of the franchise... he was just a pizza chef, whose only crime was being idiotic enough to taste glowing green ooze (in case it would make a good pizza topping). My #HeroClix #AvengersDefendersWar team from today's #WizKidsOpen tournament. Great Sealed pulls—built an #Avengers theme team around the title character #DrStrange ("Dr. Strange, Earth's Guardian")—but couldn't make it work as well as I'd have liked. Won the first two rounds due to pure luck, barely lost the third, got buried by a local power gamer in round four. Waiting to see if I made top eight, but my hopes aren't high.
