TMNT MUTANT MAYHEM SPOILERS!!

The end of the movie in a nutshell:

I just got back from the cinema and WOW, this movie made an impression on me, I was excited all the time.

I was just scared at the beginning of the Leo x April plot, because it was too reminiscent of the 2012!Donnie x 2012!April ship, HOWEVER, later on, it impressed me how well it turned out and felt somewhat natural, and it wasn't forced - at least for viewers

I'm glad that it turned out that April and Leo are similar in age, so I don't mind shipping this, lmao

Can i please request hurt/comfort of rottmnt x female! reader? (All 4 brothers + April) HC. (Can be platonic or romantic)

It's about female reader who's always get cut off by her family so she can't talk im conversations and she hated it, so she became less vocal (saying yes, no without much details) but surprise when her (friends/partner) let her speak her mind and don't cut her off, they even comfort her.

Leo:

Leo noticed you becoming less vocal almost immediately

He seems like he wouldn't notice right away because he is often talking

But i think he is hyper aware of his loved ones and how they act so they'd notice pretty quickly and figure out why as well

Leo is pissed to realize your family doesn't pay attention to when you're speaking

You deserve to be heard D:<

Leo is extra mindful to not interrupt you even if he is really excited about saying something

He also stops his brothers from interrupting you as well

Leo would also be pretty encouraging, even though sometimes it sounds like sarcasm

He nods encouragingly and is like “uh huh. What else?”

Raph:

Raph isn't the most socially aware

So he doesn't notice you being less talkative right away

Especially since he unconsciously gives you the space to talk

Raph is used to being a bit on the quiet side, especially since his brothers are such ramblers

So he is a great listener

If you ever start talking but stop bc you think no-one is listening

He'll look at you with such a genuine smile and be like “Raph wants to know the rest of the story.”

“and then he…..” You faltered, noticing everyone's attention seemed elsewhere. You wilted, just giving up on finishing your story. You thought it was interesting too! Maybe you're just a bore, to your friends and family.

Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder, looking up and noticing it was Raph. He smiled, so genuine and kind and refreshing.

“Hey, Raph wants to know the end of the story.” He said, smiling still. You smiled too.

Donnie:

He relates a lot to having families not paying attention

Whenever he tries to infodump, his brothers never pay attention

So, he decided to strike up a deal with you (contract and all)

“Alright, it has come to my attention that we suffer similar issues from our dum-dum families.” Donnie said, sitting down beside you on the couch. You tilted your head with a confused expression.

“I propose a deal in which we set aside time to take turns listening to each other. So I may express my love and immense knowledge of science and you may tell me about anything you would like.” Donnie explained, handing you a paper. It was a literal contract.

“Yeah, alright.” You chuckled, feeling a bit excited. You grabbed a pen and signed the paper.

Donnie is a great listener, but then again he's great at everything he does 😉

He pays attention to every detail and asks questions so you know he's engaged

Even though he's on his phone or doing something else, he is still paying attention

Donnie just needs to be doing something at the same time

Donnie will also ask follow ups to your stories like “whatever happened to that girl's boyfriend?” Or “did studying help with your test?”

He's such a good gossip istg

Mikey:

He is very emotionally aware, probably the most of his brothers

So he knows right away when you start being quieter

And he figures out why pretty quickly as well

(And man does it make him want to Dr.Delicate Touch your family)

Mikey doesn't want to be overt about coaxing you to talk more

He probably invites you over when he's cooking and he justs asks a lot of questions

“How's school?” “What's your favorite subject?” “Who are you friends?” “What are your hobbies?”

And he will not let let you get away without answering all of his questions

He does this so much, it becomes a ritual

While he cooks you talk to him about everything and anything. He just wants to hear you

April:

She probably notice you talk less pretty quickly

But she finds out firsthand why

I mean since april is human she probably hangs out at your house some

So she literally sees how your family disregards your stories and opinion

And damn is she pissed

You literally have to drag her put of your house so she doesn't slam yout family for being mean

After that april takes extra care to make sure you know she is listening

She's asking questions, she's “ohhh” amd “ahhh” at the appropriate times

She makes sure you know you will always have her to talk to

April makes sure you know she will always listen

And like maybe you guys can turn it i to a girl's gossip session

Invite cass and sunita amd you guys all just giggle and gossip and be silly

My UNprofessional opinion on The Last Ronin: Lost Years' new turtle team's species

because no one else is doing it WHERE ARE THE EXPERTS???

Warning: I didn't read the comics, all I know about the little 1's comes from au's, fanon contents, the snippets of comic pages I collected across the internet, and analysis videos (I can't read The Last Ronin comics, my heart can't take it), so don't take me too seriously, these are just guesses. Also, I don't know much about turtles, I just read a book one afternoon to find out more about the Rise turtles' species and take a look around the other turtles out of curiosity. And I read somewhere that they might not be just one species but a special combination of turtles to make the perfect soldiers? But I don't know, I still wanna do this so here we go (forgive my bad english):

So for starters, the first time I saw Uno I was automatically like "oh they used a Diamondback Terrapin hell yeah" and I'm pretty confident about my first guess because look at this:

I don't think I need to explain myself here. Sure he doesn't have the diamond shape in his shell and his shellshape doesn't exactly match but I believe those are more of artistic choices rather than eliminating factors. Also I've never seen any other turtle species that has this color scheme (and again, I didn't see many) and I've seen so many Diamondback Terrapin designs for Venus and it's awesome, so

My first guess is Uno is a Diamondback Terrapin.

For my second guess, Moja, I have a lot of leads because her colors are more of brown tones rather than green and well, most turtles are green. So I looked up brown, light spotted turtles and I found a species called Eastern Box Turtle. Maybe not exactly spot on but I think its pretty close:

Ornate Box Turtles have various spots on their bodies so that would kinda match with her spotty skin and face markings.

But the shell is bugging me. Because Box Turtles have a very bumpy and round shaped carapace but Moja's shell is flatter and has an interesting shape that I think should be considered.

But I don't know so I'll leave it at that.

My second guess is Moja is an Ornate Box Turtle.

Now,

for Odyn,

I have no clue.

I don't wanna say Snapping Turtle because Rise Raph is already a Snapping Turtle and Odyn's shell is not spikey anyway. But I couldn't find any turtles that has spiky skin and smooth carapace so I went with vibes. And I found the Loggerhead Musk Turtle. Just look at how silly it looks:

I think their sillines match and that's all I need.

My third guess is Odyn is a Loggerhead Musk Turtle.

Lastly, for lovely little Yi, I have a pretty good guess. Now if we look at her the most obvious clue that we have is her yellow markings across all of her body. They're not like Moja's spotty and round shaped markings tho, they're more stilty and linelike. Also her plastron is yellow enough to get my attention. And she's small. My guess doesn't really support that but at least they're smaller than my other guess, Florida Redbelly's. So, I propose: Yellowbelly Slider Turtle.

I'd say that's pretty close.

My fourth guess is Yi is a Yellowbelly Slider Turtle.

Maybe I should've considered their name's origins like Uno is Italian for one, Odyn is Ukranian or Russian for one, Moja is Swahili for one and Yi is Chinese for one, but I'm lazy.

Now please science side of Tumblr, turtle nerds, certain autistic fellas, TMNT fans, and all who's interested, correct me and my mistakes so that I can know their species I need to know I tell you I need to know.
