The Girls' Hair (Part 2)

Stella

As a royal, Stella isn't allowed to have any distracting accessories in her hair, and always has to an elegant and neat appearance. She's constantly trying to push the limits of the rules by styling her hair in a way that suits whatever outfit she's wearing. She takes a lot of pride in maintaining the health and appearance of her hair.

Flora

Flora naturally incorporates ribbons and flowers that reminds her of the time she used to spend playing with her sister in the forests of Linphea. She often braids her hair due to how much time she spends hiking in the wilderness, or working within a lab, so she enjoys be have a little fun while doing it.

Musa

After losing her mother, Musa has grown a resentment towards her long hair. She finds comfort in keeping it short, and always makes sure to cut it before it grows out too long.

Later on, after confronting and healing some of her trauma, she discovers a new appreciation for her long hair. Trying different styles as she grows it out again.

Queen in Waiting Daphne Adara Alexia Bizeveron of Domino, Former Guardian Fairy of the Inferno, Former Keeper of the Dragon Flame and The Seventh Nymph of Magix

Daphne is the eldest daughter of King Oritel Henri Bizeveron II and Queen Marion Sophie Bizeveron and the older sister to Bloom Peters.  Daphne was raised during an unstable period of the Magical Dimension.  The Ancestral Witches were rising to power and looking to gain footing wherever they could.  This led to a much more warrior society, not just for Domino, but throughout the Dimension.  While Dominio had always been offensively strong, Daphne was taught from age eight how to wield both physical and magical weaponry.  On top of her elite training Daphne was seen to be a child prodigy, with the Dragon Flame manifesting itself at age four.

Daphne, unlike her younger sister, did not attend Alfea full time, only attending necessary classes and often returning to Domino for strategy briefings, offensive and defensive battle magic training.  Due to her accelerated learning schedule and natural ability, she attained her Enchantix form at age fifteen. Not long after gaining her Enchantix form, the Ancestral Witches began attacking in earnest across the Dimension, specially seeking out the Dragon Flame. Over the next few years Daphne spent months at a time on the front line with other powerful magic users to capture or destroy the Ancestral Witches.

It was her prowess in battle that bought the attention of the Nymphs of Magix.  The Nymphs of Magix are nine of the most powerful magic users in the Magical Dimension and are often called the Rulers of Fate.  During a particular dangerous battle the Seventh Nymph, Eleanora, was stripped of her magic and killed by the Dark Wizard Valtor, and Daphne was deemed both stable and powerful enough to take her position as the Seventh Nymph.  During the Final Battle of Domino, all nine nymphs were killed and stripped of their magic by the Ancestral Witches, apart from Daphne.

During the Final Battle, Daphne stripped the Dragon Flame from herself and gave it to her new born sister Bloom, using her final magic to create a portal to send Bloom to Terra. Daphne was later drained of her magic and left for dead once Domino was destroyed, however, she was able to connect her life force to Blooms through a long-forgotten blood spell shown to her by the Nymphs.  Because of her spirit still being alive, Daphne was the last and the Supreme Nymph of Magix.

Daphne is a serious and strong willed fairy, who will put duty before anything else.  Her war time attitude never truly fades and this often causes clashes with those around her in modern Magix.  She is often calm, however, is prone to outbursts when she believes people are not listening to her.  Due to her high standing and extremely powerful magical core, Daphne can sometimes view herself as superior to others and can be condescending.  However, she is ultimately kind hearted and extremely loyal to those who have earned her trust.

Our beautiful flower child Flora

So an easy way to feel like Flora is a flower pattern dress from there on you can bring your own style into this by accessorizing how you want

Now I think tecna has a really cool style and we do not give her the credit she deserves for it

I think she would rock the modern preppy look with the trousers and the vests

It is cool, cute and has a masculine edge to it that I think would look great on her

Some Headcanons for Griffin (Company of Light AU)

I’m sharing a rough draft of my headcanons for Griffin, a bit of her backstory and her reason why she studied the Dark Arts and joined the Ancestral Witches before it continues to gather dust in my drafts. I'm still working out the story and this is for my Company of Light AU, some may be canon compliant and canon divergent.

My background story for Griffin is that she grew up in a realm where it is surrounded by the stars. Her father is a wizard (dark magic user), who used to teach at a wizard school but left after the rise of threat towards dark magic users. He was the one who introduced Griffin to astronomy becoming a profound expert in it among other things. It also makes her feel closer to home. Her love for the stars is one of the first things she shared with Faragonda when they met since she always felt at home with the fairy (but that’s another hc for another time). I haven't quite figured out what her relationship with her mother is yet but she is an only child.

Anyway, Griffin moved to Magix to study in Cloud Tower. Throughout her time as a student, she excelled in ALL of her classes, creating her own spells, potions, and hexes (especially healing and defence). As she learned more and more about the disparaging indifferences between light and dark magic and how the council and most Magix society favour light magic and ordered the execution of any dark magic users, thinking they were a threat, she started to dabble in magical research that would help dark magic users rise and be seen as equal to light magic users. She wanted to break the stigma and shame against them to free them from the oppression they were facing, so after she graduated, Griffin left Magix in search of her quest, her research.

During one of her quests, Valtor encounters Griffin in a[n unnamed planet] chanting an ancient spell using a Whisperian Crystal to measure levels of magical energy in an object and watches her steal it for her to use at a later time. He was charmed by her knowledge of using an ancient relic and enamoured by her beauty. He followed her to see what she’d do next. Along with her other extraordinary abilities, Griffin is an expert in cartography (study of maps) and with her combined knowledge is astronomy, sigil, divination, and ancient runic magic. She was able to locate the next magical object she needed that Valtor has been after for so long, but a creature was guarding it. He was impressed at how she handled the creature protecting the object as she effortlessly used her own hex that lulled the creature to a deep slumber.

He approached her using his charm and convinced her to join the Ancestral Coven. She doesn’t immediately accept his offer because a witch never works in groups let alone trusts anyone but she realises if she wants to accomplish her selfish pursuit of her goals quicker and safer than by herself, what better way for a witch to work with someone than through a coven, and a very powerful one. Plus, she knew she’d have their protection, her powers would further develop and she’d be invincible. In fact, studying the Dark Arts wasn’t easy but Griffin loved a challenge and she was exceptional at all their missions. She was also a HUGE asset to their missions, her knowledge in astronomy, defense strategies, cartography, alchemy, among others were useful in completing their quests.

After decades of working with them, she finally received an invitation to join their inner circle during a blood moon. (A mission with Valtor prompted this unexpected "invitation" that I'll share at a different post.) The night before her initiation, one of the members of the Ancestral Coven was discussing an annihilation of magic in Domino. Baffled by the revelation and her refusal to participate in mass destruction, she reached out to Faragonda casting a soundproof bubble sending the fairy cryptic messages, to warn the King and Queen of Domino. She never intended to cause mass destruction of lives. Yes, she and Valtor would steal artefacts that the Ancestral Witches and Darkar think contain the Dragon Flame, such as the Ring of Solaria but Griffin never took another life. She was blinded by political propaganda, by power and her thirst to reinstate dark magic users, to be seen as equal. When she declined their invitation, the Ancestral Witches captured her and severed her magic using ancient runic cuffs.

Just as soon as her magic was severed, Faragonda felt something was off since she was Griffin’s counterpart. She couldn’t feel Griffin’s magic anymore nor Griffin’s presence even from afar, which caused concern. Despite being on both different sides and having drifted apart for decades, Faragonda still cares for Griffin. They had gone through SO much and grew up together ever since they had met. Hence why Faragonda planned a rescue mission to save Griffin. (I’m still working out the logistics for this) My other headcanon is that Griffin sent out a distress signal that reached Faragonda all the way from Obsidian to Alfea (or the Fortress of Light or Domino) just as soon as Griffin was being handcuffed. OR it could also be that Faragonda and Griffin made a pact from when they were younger that no matter what happens between them, they would ALWAYS have each other's back and they swore on it.

Side note: In my verse, Faragonda and Griffin are endgame and my OTP, always and have been but it's not until later on in their lives that they finally confess their feelings to one another. I really don't 'ship' Valtor and Griffin but they had a 'thing' with one another, especially considering that they've worked together for DECADES. Griffin is also pansexual in my AU.

Anyway, I just want to share this page in issue 21 from the Winx comics. After the fall of Domino and aside from being the Headmistress of Cloud Tower and her immense care towards her students, I feel like Griffin kept all of the ancient key knowledge, dark secrets, forbidden magic, curses, spells, objects used to summon creatures and books she learned (and took) from Ancestral Witches (after they were sentenced) and hid them somewhere safe in Cloud Tower, so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands and prying eyes of evil, which is one of the reasons why the Trix keeps trying to take over Cloud Tower as well as Valtor and other forces of evil. She's just as protective of Cloud Tower just as she is protective of her students and the good for the whole Magix Dimension.

Because of this, one of her expertise aside from astronomy and basic witchcraft, she teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts. (Yes, that is a HP reference *and no, I do NOT support the HP creator in any way shape and form* but after everything that Griffin has been through and being a headmistress with huge responsibilities towards all the students she cares for, she'd do anything to make sure they will be well-versed in dark magic to use it for good, the same way fairies are. I also think this position is very fitting for Griffin because she doesn't want her students to make the same past mistakes she made when she joined the wrong side.)

The Girls' Hair (Part 1)

Decided to post something a bit different because I've been thinking about it a lot. I have the vision of all the girls in my head, that I hope to get commissioned one day, but for now I'll just post bits and pieces here.

One thing I've really liked thinking about was the girls' hair because I think hair can tell a lot about who a person is, and that it often changes as they do.

Aisha

To preface, I love Aisha/Layla's hair in the OG series, but I just have a special affinity for locs, and then I saw The Little Mermaid last year, so it basically secured my vision.

Anyways, I imagine Aisha with long locs, since she's been growing them since she was a child. Throughout the years she's experimented with different styles and such, but she mainly keeps her styling to a minimum since she's very active. She enjoys sewing shells and beads from Andros into them, so she can always have a little bit of home with her.

Bloom

I imagine Bloom having more curly/wavy hair. She goes through the phase of thinking she needs to straighten it like many do, but ultimately realizing it's fine to embrace it. She fluctuates between occasionally straightening out her hair and wearing it naturally. Hair is also a comfort/shield for Bloom, so she likes to keep it long. However, sometimes she cuts bangs and layers, so she feels like she's trying a new hairstyle. More often than not, she keeps it simple.

Tecna

In the beginning I imagine Tecna keeping her hair very neat and clean. The cuts are angled, blunt, and precise. She rarely lets her hair grow past her shoulders because she doesn't want to spend time brushing through and styling long hair. She's not afraid of cutting her hair if at any point she doesn't feel like dealing with it. She often shaves the sides and/or underside, so there's less to maintain.

Later on, Tecna grows more comfortable with having "messier" hair, and comes to view her hair as another outlet to express herself. She starts to just have fun with it, letting her friends give her all kinds of cuts, patterns, and lengths.

Sorry, that it took me so long, dear! I just wanted to think of new cool HCs to reply to this ask as good as possible. (And I'm a perfectionist)

headcanons for all three Trix:

they are biological sisters as Iginio Straffi said some years ago but in my HC they are no triplets. Icy is the oldest and 18 in season 1, Darcy is the second child and was 17 by season 1 and Stormy is the gremlin youngest with 16 years in season 1. (In my re-write I might age them up one year each)

Stormy is a gremlin way shorter than Darcy and Icy. I headcanon Stormy to be just about 160cm while Darcy and Icy are probably 175cm or taller

Darcy and Icy also have a slender body type while Stormy is way curvier (in other words Stormy has booty and tits while Icy and Darcy are *tender*)

one of my favorite Stormy HCs is that she is a professional gamer and a total Pokèmon fan (yes, Pikachu!). She's gaming a lot in the Internet and plays a lot against Tecna - they are gaming frenemies *u*

I have a lot more but I'd like to write them down specifically for each character..... so if you wanna ask for a specific Trix character - just do it! This time my reply might not take that long :D

How will Diaspro and Sky's engagement play out since her planet broke off? If you can tell it yet.

I haven't really had too much thoughts about the specific nobility layout for each system - and I think a lot of them would be the same in terms of a Monarch, then high ranking military personnel and Duke/Duchesses etc.

I think the Diaspro and Sky engagement question is super interesting! And I have been thinking about it! The reason that the engagement was finalised in the first place was that Eraklyon saw an opportunity to siphon funds and military support from Isis. The civil war at the time was out of control in the outer planets of the System and was beginning to seep into Eraklyon itself.

Isis, while wealthy and having established trade routes, does not have a large presence in the Magical Dimension, and wanted some of Eraklyon's political power and standing. It was a win-win for both parties. The engagement would have essentially allowed Isis a way back into the Eraklyon System politically, while still being independent.

I think I could add to this heaps! but maybe through a chapter snippet? Let me know what you think!
