Yikes isn't this what happened with skam france? How there was some random crew guy who was good friends with one of the big skam france bloggers? And through these friends of friends etc stories started to spread not just about the s6 spoilers but the cast too, mainly axel? Would hate to see it happen with wtf too. I think the cast of fr were super engaged w/fans especially w/these cons which I find to be very cringe tbh. Whereas I think wtf cast have (wisely) kept more of that distance

It’s like double-ended sword. When you as an actor/actress is close to the fans because you’re feeling very thankful for their supports or because you’re naturally friendly, there’ll be always some people who’ll sabotaging your kindness and thinking that just because you’re being polite and friendly with them, they’ll instantly becoming your friends. When you’re not interacting in the social medias with them, they’ll think of you as rude and obnoxious *sigh*—either way, you as an idolized person would still be at fault. Some skam fr fans think they’re friends with the casts just because they have been having conversation more than once, probably at the screening or accidentally met them, when the truth is far from it. Like you said, I’m happy that wtfock producers still not allowing the casts to go the cons at all and the casts are also very private.
