Honest to god the worst thing that can happen to a fandom is when the memes completely overwrite the canon lore/personality of a character. One thing that bugs me about Astarion's storyline is that you can miss most of his story if you simply don't have him in your party at the right moment. Gandrel, Raphael (in Last Light Inn), Araj, Raphael (in front of the mausoleum), his siblings in Fraygo's flophouse. (And if you don't rest enough times before going to Cazador you won't even meet his siblings). I'm watching a streamer right now and I'm screaming at the screen because he has not had Astarion with him for any of these things and it's the most frustrating thing ever.

Loving this post Forever argument dynamic Bad and Etoiles are starting to form. I hope they talk like this every time Bad and Forever fight. Bad is Intense and trying SO hard to not rip the president apart because the president is his bestie Forever so GOD does he need to vent some emotions. He's not entirely succeeding but man he's restraining so so much Etoiles is so so chill and more worried about emotions then politics and who is right or wrong. Maybe a bit too unconcerned with who is right or wrong but for the most part he's unworried to a good extent.

Etoiles is fully aware these rants are basically the only thing keeping Bad from tying Forever up in front of a power point presentation to scream politics at him. He's in agreement with Bad's opinions but by god is Bad being (and I quote) "too dramatic" about it.

Etoiles laughing but genuinely listening and engaging with Bad's concerns without fully dismissing Forever or Bad's feelings and actions is such a breath of fresh air. I hope this happens every single time Bad and Forever argue. I don't care how intense fandom discourse gets every fight It's worth it for these interactions

ace's death might be the biggest thing fans regularly retcon in op fanworks and that's probably because ace is one of the most loved characters in the whole series but i was thinking that a huge part of why people can't just accept that it was a necessary evil and move on is that ace died without ever knowing sabo was alive and sabo got his memories back only after it was too late to do anything about them re: ace. by people I mean me. I find that unacceptable.

Alex is attending one of the most prestigious magic academies in the country, on the orders of his parents of course. Even though Laiz Fier Academy reviles even the name of the only type of magic he's ever been good at. His parents swore he'd find another specialty here, and he'd let himself believe them, like the idiot he is. He's scraping by in classes. Barely. At least he's managed to make a couple of friends and figure out how to sneak into the library stacks to find books that will actually help him hone his skills.

However, Alex realizes now there's a reason why it's not recommended to do your first summoning alone. Because, while he does manage to summon a demon, it doesn't exactly end up in the silvery urn he'd laid in the center of the pentagram.

So now he has a talking, demonic Furby to hide. One that, despite its too-wide eyes and disconcertingly smooth voice, Alex thinks he might be developing feelings for.
