Coral Reefs - Maldives!
A coral reef is an underwater ecosystem characterized by reef-building corals. Reefs are formed of colonies of coral polyps held together by calcium carbonate. The Maldives is home to some of the world's most diverse coral reefs, which feature dozens of different species including, amongst others, staghorn coral, brain coral, plate coral and finger coral.

TRITON - a god of the sea!
According to the Greek mythology, Triton is a Greek god of the sea, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god and goddess of the sea respectively. Triton lived with his parents in a golden palace on the bottom of the sea. Later he is often depicted as having a conch shell he would blow like a trumpet.

Manta ray in the Maldives!
Manta rays are large rays belonging to the genus Mobula. The larger species, M. birostris, reaches 7 m in width, while the smaller, M. alfredi, reaches 5.5 m. Both have triangular pectoral fins, horn-shaped cephalic fins and large, forward-facing mouths. Generally, there are two distinct manta ray seasons in the Maldives. From May to October, reef manta rays are found across the eastern side of atolls and from November to April, they're sighted on the western side of atolls.

The Indian Ocean is the third largest of the world's five oceans (after the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean, but larger than the Southern Ocean and Arctic Ocean) and covers more than 73.4 million square kilometers (approximately 28.3 million square miles). It consists of six island nations which are Comoros, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka.

World's Leading Destination 2023 - The Maldives!🌊🏊🏽‍♂️
The Maldives won the two most prestigious titles at the event held at Dubai's iconic Burj Al Arab on the 1st of December 2023. We secured the title of the World's Leading Destination 2023 along with MMPRC winning the title of World's Leading Tourist Board. In addition to the World's Leading Destination Awards, the Maldives also clinched the WTA Global Tourism Resilience Award 2023 at the ceremony.
