for those of you that don’t know, i work at an accounting office. we do taxes. it is tax season. and now im thinking abt how AGSZC does taxes and what their papers are like and im inflicting it on the rest of you even if its gibberish

Angeal: A godsend. Keeps his forms in order and filed properly, calculates everything else himself like a good man. Papers honestly aren’t too bad, maybe 10-12 just because of his career/insurance plus his doubtless donations to charity, but aside from that. straightforward and done at his kitchen table

Genesis: A fucking NIGHTMARE. no doubt pays someone else to do it. and for fucks sake, i know he invests. constantly and consistently and probably in anything he thinks stands the slightest chance against shinra on the market. his 1099-B is a mess and definitely Not Totaled, so his is the bullshit you have to insert one. investment. at. a time. He’s the type that keeps fucking calling too, I can just tell. but, aside from the 1099-B, he’s probably got simple stuff as well. probably several 1099-INTs from several different bank accounts, maybe a couple 1098s floating around from vacation houses or some shit.

Sephiroth: Does his own. In ridiculously early. Makes almost no personal purchases so hardly has anything to pay. I can’t imagine not having a last name or not knowing his birthday doesn’t end up a legal problem somehow, so he likely has to walk directly into a damn tax office to say hey this is me and this is my shit no, someone isn’t stealing my identity. has one singular document and it’s his W-2. Which is. Fucking astronomical. Like, the number doesn’t even look right. His paycheck as a SOLDIER isn’t taxed, so he doesn’t really get much back on his refund. The only first without a healthcare /insurance form because why tf would Sephiroth have healthcare? What’s he gonna do, get sick?

not getting into how doing his own taxes was definitely a fight between him and Hojo at some point and ended up getting hashed out in a board room. Hojo didn’t like him having the autonomy of filing for himself instead of being claimed ad Hojo’s ‘dependent’. Sephiroth deadass threatened to go to court abt it. The President told Hojo to suck it up so they didn’t have to deal with scandal, Hojo wouldn’t tell Seph his birthday to be difficult, and here we are

Zack: Panicking. Late. Doesn’t know if his forms came in the mail, doesn’t know where he put them most of the time. Scrambles around for a fuck ton of receipts, ultimately has to request Shinra send him his shit again. DEFINITELY pays someone else to do it. W-2, 1095-A, 1099-C(s)(he has several debts i can feel it i love him but he screams bad financial decisions), probably some shit for his bike too. He customs it so I can see him listing some parts he buys for it as work expenses. Jokingly puts some money he gave aerith for flowers and what he spent to make her wagon as donations to charity and it actually goes through because the church is still considered a legal entity. Definitely has to pay late fees.

Cloud: Pays Tifa to do it. Filing for both of them is a nightmare cause all their shit burnt in Nibelheim, so once Edge gets right with the WRO they have to do all their paperwork from scratch and get reassigned SSNs. He genuinely has a fuckton of paperwork from doing the Strife Delivery Service. Luckily, only ‘employee’ he has is Tifa, and even then she doesn’t do things regularly aside from pick up the phone. Doesn’t make his business an LLC until he’s literally forced to due to his number of clients and someone trying to sue him for damages. 1099-NEC for TIfa for sure, then once he’s an LLC, some yearly maintenance to keep legal. Mileage and gas expenses go CRAZY on his self employment form, I fucking bet. I bet Cloud’s handwriting is shit tho. Tifa’s at her desk counting up his gains and losses for fucking ages because his fives look too similar to sixes. Eventually she wrangles him into installing some shit on his phone that counts it up, if only to cure her headache. Funnily enough, he does get veteran benefits from what’s left of Shinra’s shit, reparations of sorts, but he doesn’t keep it. All goes to charity, so that ends up in the books too.

Welp, just heard back...guess I'm buying a new computer...sigh. For all my current projects this means final death, at least until I feel like trying to rework them. However it also means I'll be working on some that were further down the line. Symbiosis will still be coming as its getting the full ground up rework anyway. Memories of Death will also be coming.

Apparently it was the power thingy that caused the problem as it failed and resulted in a surge which basically toasted my poor baby. Most of what he told me went over my head, but basically its a brick.

Luckily not all is lost as I got the quarterly gst and carbon tax refund shit and Amazon cooperated with me. Ordered a cute little computer that is not so powerful but will be easily upgraded as time goes one. So my more intense games are still a ways off, but writing is back on the menu!!! Not a laptop though, so I guess I'll need to bust out my old tablet and keyboard if I want to do writing on the go.

Oh well.

More Tea

Whooooo boy do I have some more tea for you all! It'll be under the cut because I don't know how long this will be.

Luke's birthday is coming up. I believe I mentioned this. And I believe I mentioned how they planned a little get together on his birthday without talking to me about any of it.

Well, I told Ratboy that I was going to be seeing Luke earlier in the day for some one on one time. Especially because I haven’t gotten to see him much. But I also told him other days I was planning on picking him up. Because I’m done asking. For one, I shouldn’t have to ask to see my own son who I still have legal custody of. But two, he ignores at least 75% of my text messages, including most of the ones asking about trying to find a time for me to see Luke.

This asshat decides to send me a whole fucking message, starting with asking me why I’m being so demanding and that it would be one thing if I were to ask but it’s completely different to demand these things… As if asking had worked?

Anyways he then goes on to talk about how before Thursday I hadn’t seen Luke in 8 weeks. As if it was my fault he wasn’t trying to work with me or would just straight up ignore my text messages. I’m tempted to go through and count how many times I asked to see Luke where it was ignored. Anyways, he tried to act as if it was my fault and not mostly on the fact that he refuses to communicate or work with me on anything! 

Then he mentions that I haven’t asked about his daily schedule or what he’s eating or what size diapers he’s wearing now. He also says I haven’t asked about what size clothes he’s wearing which is blatantly false as I have a text message to prove I have asked about his clothing size. A text he ignored. He says all of this as if he’d answer if I did ask about any of it. When 75%+ of my texts are ignored, what’s the point in asking if I’m not going to get an answer? I tried talking to him about Luke at the mall but he barely wanted to talk about him. And um… I also talked about his clothing size when we were at the mall on Thursday so… yeah. He also mentioned that I have done nothing to support Luke. Okay, fucking talk to me and communicate and maybe I could figure it out??? But like… if he isn’t going to communicate there’s no way for me to do any of this shit! It took me about a month of getting maybe a text message a day to even get taxes figured out, and even then, he didn’t tell me when the refund came back until I brought it up at the mall.

Then he has the audacity to talk about my mental stability while with Luke because I haven’t been with him for more than a few hours and never alone in the past few months. Okay, for one, who’s fault is that again? And for two, I’m doing pretty good mentally right now. I think I can handle taking care of my own son (whom I basically raised alone for 6 months) for a day by myself.

But the thing that pissed me off the most about his text? “As for his birthday, you won’t be picking him up prior to his party as I already have plans with him and his schedule is especially important that day.” To which I obviously told him he can figure it the fuck out because I’m spending time with my son on his birthday. He can kiss my fucking ass. And if he tries to withhold Luke from me, it’s technically called parental kidnapping and he has poked and prodded this mamma bear too fucking long. I am not above filing charges. The fact that he didn’t bother to talk to me before making plans shows that he doesn’t give a shit about me or if I’m in Luke’s life or not. 

He is about to see that I am not playing around and bowing to his every whim anymore. I am fighting for my goddamn son and I don’t care what I have to do to do so.

Things are very, very grim for me right now.

I'm hanging by a thread tied to a long-distance hope of finding a lawyer willing to take my case, and that I'll get hired at the place I interviewed at yesterday.

It's grim, because I've slipped so far behind in everything, all I can afford now is ramen. I eat free food from the restaurant (my job that I'm trying to leave due to them screwing me over so hard I'm IN this situation.)

Things in jeopardy/things I can no longer pay for:

Rent

Car insurance.

2 credit cards.

Traffic ticket that I'm fighting, because the reason is disgustingly stupid - everyone in Los Angeles does what I got pulled over for on the daily. Multiple times. They enter the left hand turn lane before the turn lane starts. I was off my medication at the time (again, problem getting it). This is what the "ADHD Tax" means, and why life with ADHD is more expensive.

Health insurance - which means no more mental health care. Which means no more prescriptions for ADHD medication and antidepressants.

ADHD meds. I've been off of them since the start of August. I either can't afford them, or they're not in stock. Even the generic version of Adderall is out.

Dental Insurance.

Spotify. I have to listen to ads now. An acceptable loss, however annoying.

Disney+ (to be honest, I dropped them before this due to them raising their prices.)

Filling my car's gas tank to Full. It costs me around $88. It lives perpetually on 1 - 2 gallons, so I'm having to keep putting in $10 every other day.

There goes getting a new mattress. I'll keep dealing with lower back pain and restless nights.

Paying the mechanic back for fixing my POS 20 year old car in June.

Paying my friend back $600, and my parents back $900 to help me cover rent in July.

My paychecks and what small tips I make anymore go directly toward the money pit that is rent that I can't afford anymore, food for myself and my cat, and gas for the car.

My biggest fears right now are not making my $1250 rent by Sept. 15th, not being able to pay that ticket (which you have to pay for and hope the court refunds it back after looking at the dispute paperwork), and not getting my ADHD meds. Without them, I've been making more mistakes, and being my old scattered self without any ability to focus on more than 1 thing, and not get important things done that need to be done.

TO SAVE MYSELF...

I am looking for other work.

I took a job every Saturday at my old work (which I didn't want to return to, but I'm desperate. There are REASONS why I left).

Selling my things on Ebay - which isn't going so well. I only sold 2 small things, made $40, but I only got $15 of it. The rest went to Ebay fees and shipping.

Entering writing contests with cash prizes. I haven't won anything.

Getting the odd lottery ticket praying to God for help. Haven't won anything. Not even my $2 back.

I sold my PS2 and some games for $50 and that $50 went to gas and food.

I got a Macy's card so I could get nice work pants for job interviews, and rebuild my credit back into the 700's. It's been driven down to 695, and I am not happy about that. I worked for years to get it back up out of the 400s. Now I owe Macy's $43 by the end of the month.

Now I'm considering donating plasma even if the last time I tried years ago...let's just say it didn't go well. I panicked, I almost blacked out, and I threw up. 3 nurses were around me.

Considering donating blood if they'll pay me for it.

Auditioning for audiobook narration jobs. Haven't landed any new gigs yet, and the one I'm working on is royalty share. Which = experience. No $$$.

I need $1250 by the 15th, and I don't know what else I can do to get it. Aside from starting an Only Fans for guys who like ugly women, cakes, or feet. I am seriously considering posting pictures of my ass and feet for money.

I'm a roller skater. I know I have nice legs and nice bakery. I just really, really, really don't want to have to sink that low. I already have horrible self esteem, body issues, and mental health issues.

I am physically alone through all of this. No partner, no significant other, no family nearby. It's just me having to fight through all of this to keep going alone.

AND ALL OF THIS.... Because my work retaliated against me in June, and continue to do so.

No one wants my voice. - a literal lifetime of training. No one wants my writing - same. Decades of training. Years devoted to a work that holds my soul ("Out There: The 1K"). My patreon failed horribly. No one wants my stuff. - Yes, it's all crap, because I can't afford expensive stuff. No one wants to hire me. - I haven't figured this one out yet. No law firm wants to help me. No one wants...

Me.

BUT I AM STILL TRYING.

I bought a bunch of potatoes today, and some spaghetti. My food for a while will be baked spuds and noodles. I'll get my protein through meat dishes at work.

My cat is amazing. :) She'll always have enough food and love. She's my emotional support companion. She's even registered. And she's saving me right now. All I need to do is look at her, and I can believe for a moment that things will be ok.

I'll get through this and keep a roof over our heads because of her. Because I love her. Because I'm terrified of living on the streets. Of being dropped like I never mattered despite how hard I work to be the best at my job, and a good person.

I know it'll be ok. I just have to follow the advice my MC was given:

"You're meant for something greater out there. Not down here with us in the dirt. But you have to look up. Keep your eyes on the horizon. Keep moving. Don't look back, and don't look down. You do that, and you'll find your way out. And when you do, I hope I'm there to see you break orbit."

Recent Manifestation Success 😍

Hi everyone, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted a SC SUCCESS update so here it goes 💕.

I started SC & Law of Assumption in October 2021, prior to that I was a Law of attraction honey from the age of 21 ( I’m now 30 🥰).

The compliments have been pouring in non stop. On Saturday I went to my friends son christening and immediately the compliments were pouring in! Her mother in law was like you look like a princess ! Her auntie came to my table to tell me how good I look & I even got a compliment from Celeb stylists 😍. All the guests were like wow you look amazing !

During the christening they hired a professional photographer who took a photo of me ( candid ) I wasn’t looking. He then said to me you photograph so well ! And then went on to say he wants to take photos of me and do portraits of me for FREE !!

Recently I was looking at new cars as my finance is coming to an end, I got my current car valued and it’s worth sooooo much money, a few days later the company emailed me to tell me they would give me even more money for it ! They also said they would settle the finance and that I literally don’t have to do anything. So I get a brand new car, clear the finance on my call and still will have atleast five figures left over.. meaning I can clear the credit card AND have money to enjoy and also put away in my savings 😍😍😍😍.

I’ve had people messaging me offering me free workouts, free collagen I’m literally THE main character in my life.

I’ve had friends calling me like I need a figure like yours and I’m like 👀👀.

A guy I used to crush on has messaged me out of the blue and he was also in my dream last night 😅. Let’s see what happens with this but I have a great great feeling about it.. it’s better than I imagined and then some 💕

I’ve made new friends who are so genuine kind hearted and pure and I love that, we speak almost daily and talk on the phone and I Love that for me !

I had a friend text me to check in and ask me for my availability in September I was like honey that’s so far away 😂. She surprised me with tickets to a show to celebrate us doing the work in therapy and growing ourselves ! 🥰🥰.

Another new friend was like send me your CV i wanna assist you in getting into project management.

I’ve had tax refunds and money coming to me effortlessly 😍. I’ve challenged parking tickets and won my appeals, I’ve had women emailing managers at work who are so happy with my care.

I’ve been posting videos on Tik Tok and getting so so much positive feedback and positive interactions. I posted a video and it got over 7K plays and gained over 60 new followers. I had another customer purchase my holistic health E book 🥹🫶🏾❤️

It’s the halfway mark of the year and for the most part ‘so far, so great’.

Let’s start off by saying that I’ve made at least eleven record-store excursions across Long Island and Brooklyn. It’s been nothing but fun. I waited four years for this due to money issues, the pandemic, and late tax refunds but damn it was so worth it. I’ve experienced the best unusual stock at Academy’s Brooklyn and Manhattan locations and spent two days digging through the unorganized heap that was Amityville’s High Fidelity. I’ve yet to make that 58 mile / 80-minute drive out east to Innersleeve Records but I know that’ll be an experience. I know I spent way more than I envisioned, but believe me when I tell you that I’ve really expanded my music library. I’ve caught up on alternative essentials, jazz / fusion, hardcore, punk and Eighties on 45’s, golden-era hip-hop, cassettes, and even black metal. I’ve also scored a few total surprises on the way. Followers of Our Lady Of Omega know when they see it.

Just like last year’s High Score Pinball Arcade, imagine my amazement when I learned that Smithhaven Mall opened up a real-deal retro-arcade of all those favorite Eighties and Nineties cabinets from childhood. Only there would I’d be standing next to one of my favorite hip-hop artists (R.A. The Rugged Man) and his two children playing the machine next to me. Or how about the time I attended Boy Harsher at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in April and attended an unreal showcase for Sacred Bones’ 15h Anniversary at The Knockout Center?

I’ve finally met my Coney Island family for Easter after not seeing them for more than two years. Dominican Pete from the Brentwood era came to visit from Scranton after not seeing him in more than a decade; rolling up and getting lifted in my residence while we both listened to Musical Youth, Corrosion Of Conformity, (A Band Called) Death, Tears For Fears, and Pure Hell. That pales in comparison in seeing my blue-eyed ginger friend Candy, also from the same era. It’s been ** years since I last seen her, but a promise made to visit her family restaurant on the East End ensured we’d play catch-up.

My health has also been a lot better. Wellbutrin XL helped take most of the focus away from the persistent intimidating demons of anxiety, depression, and loneliness. All my focus and determination turns to my performance on the sales floor where I do have a couple of associates threatening to take away my attempt at winning the Triple Crown (most revenue made, most credit applications, and most tech support memberships). Vacation time has been more vital and precious than ever and I plan on taking shorter but more frequent vacations. My overall health is great to where I don’t feel nervous about it and that contributes positively to what goes on the sales floor. Consistent gluten-free snacks, dairy-free drinks, protein, fruit smoothies, and egg bowls are now my marquee staples. But nothing, or no one, has helped more than staying in touch with a Roman goth girl whose experienced everything I’ve suffered through. She’s taught me trust, to not be afraid of triggers, t.m.i., and bad news. She knows exactly how I feel and gets how I think because she’s been there like I have. She also got me back into Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode which I needed. No question that I consider her a most-valuable player, perhaps one of the greatest ever.

As for all things Omega, Omega WUSB is now in its 10th year and is currently having its most ambitious Summer broadcasting season ever. Ω+ is back to some sort of consistency, reminding me of how much I enjoy putting my heart and candor into it. Digitizing my 500+ cassette archive is well underway and I look forward in finally getting back into all the purchases I’ve been putting off listening to and reading.

Strikeouts for the first-half of this year? Not many. Not counting the daily rudeness, lack of courtesy, and forced interactions from the neighborhood muppet customers that comes with the territory of being in a toxic community. I missed out on celebrating WUSB’s 45th Anniversary and once again had no plans for the 4th of July. I can’t lie to you when I say that anxiety, depression, and loneliness are still strange bedfellows that still insist on living rent-free, but those lifetimes losses and misses don’t bother me as much so as long as I don’t think about them. I’ve been feeling a little bit more irritable, impatient, and impersonal when it happens with no thanks to my clientele. My all-time favorite ginger? She’s still on my mind. It’s a bad beat that she hasn’t stopped in as much, but the one time I’ve helped her out so far was total fucking heaven.

There’s still more work that needs to be done if I want to win the year. The job search has been on my back forever and I’m looking for that one extra moment of free time where I can finally start practicing HTML. Every day it’s a fight to maintain my personal and mental upkeep, and last time I checked I’m still that greyhound chasing that electric rabbit lure. Only by typing this out did I realize how good I have it so far. I’m not planning on losing it. By year’s end, I want last year’s full house of Jacks over 10’s turned into this year’s four-of-a-kind with Kings.
