4. (Personal headcanon / interpretation of characters, in any sense)

answered quite a bit of this already but i do have more to offer considering at some point i replaced my brain with a nonstop dialogue generator

most things i could say about the volts are more projection-adjacent but i still have some fun ideas about them and game hardware

i think 18volt would collect different models of rhythm game controllers, as a sort of parallel to 9volt's collection of earlier nintendo history. he ends up making like the mario universe equivalent of the planetclue/kkclue videos on rhythm games and their controllers/dance pads i think

9volt's dream 3DS pattern is either the New 3DS Mario Maker one or generally any of them themed after older consoles. he probably was able to score one near the end of the system's production life (so sometime between Gold's launch and late 2020) i think 18volt's favorite 3DS pattern would be the Year of Luigi 3DS XL. 5volt's would be a lot more subdued in color, probably with the matching theme if it comes packaged with one

not directly volt related but ralphie from Gold is a lot quieter in person than in online play. he does in fact Lock In when he needs to

i think about this everytime nintendo consoles are brought up in context to anthro characters but is the mii system still the same there or does it have like animal feature options

tbh i just forget things like this whenever prompted but i think some of them i have are:

penny's eyes are naturally brown and turned blue in some sort of failed experiment inbetween G&W and Gold

ashley's sleep schedule is pretty unstable and sometimes red will wake up at like 7am to find out she's been awake for 3-4 hours

pretending like the age timeloop isnt real i think 9volt would realize he's aroace later on (double projection)

kat and ana were the first ones to officially test the touchscreen microgames as an accessibility test of sorts

after joining warioware inc, lulu learns a bit about cameras from 5volt

truthfully i actually dont play most mario spinoffs that often but i dont see why not!

i think a rep in mario kart might get confined to one of the GP games but i'll take it anyways. dribble, spitz or mona are obvious picks but it could really be anyone (you know how mario kart rosters are)

cricket wouldve worked well in battle league i think

okay it’s a mess but here’s my warioware relationship chart

I wanna start off the obvious and say that yes, jimmy t and the t family are in fact family, 5 volt, 9volt, and fronk are a family, Kat and Ana are siblings, and as for master mantis and young cricket even tho they’re not blood related, they do count as a family in my eyes. (If anything master mantis just adopted him) also yes, Dr. Crygor, his robots and his granddaughter are all family as well. basically yes wario is friends with almost everyone I forgot to link in wario with dr. Crygor but the lines gotten a bit confusing also I think I’ve screwed it up a bit..

but yeah..

Some dumb sleep hcs for 9-Volt and his parents

9-Volt:

Prefers to sleep on his tummy or back

Snores somewhat loudly

Prefers to wear an orange nightshirt and shorts, or a Bowser onesie if it’s cold enough

Often cuddles with Fronk or a Nintendo character plushie if Fronk isn’t around

Difficult for him to fall asleep but when he’s out, he’s out for good

Constantly tosses and turns

Hates taking naps unless he’s extremely tired

Pretty much a night-owl when he can get away with it

Absolutely not a morning person; he tends to be pretty cranky if forced to wake up too early

5-Volt:

Prefers to sleep on her back completely sprawled out, much to 7-Volt’s annoyance

Snores loudly

Prefers to wear one of 7-Volt’s old tees (which is too big for her) and some thin pajama pants

Her sleep paralysis demon actively searches to make sure 9-Volt is asleep and also makes sure that everyone including herself is safe. Also sometimes does a few household chores

Tries to take naps during the day to make up for having to stay up so late making sure 9-Volt is in bed

Tends to drool in her sleep

Has a habit of pushing other people out of the bed from taking up so much room despite her size. Poor 7-Volt’s woken up in the middle of the night on the floor on several occasions

Somewhat of an early bird if she’s able to actually get a proper night’s sleep

Tends to stagger like a zombie (or Kris from Deltarune) when she’s extremely tired

7-Volt:

Prefers to sleep on his sides while wrapping his arms around a pillow (at work) or 5-Volt (at home)

Snores softly

Will sleep in anything. He’s frequently slept with his glasses on and had others joke that he needs them to see while dreaming

Frequent sleep talker/walker. His co-workers and 5-Volt have gotten a kick out of recording the oddball things he’s done

Falls asleep easily and just about anywhere. At work he can be easily woken up as required for a fireman but at home, he’s practically in a coma

Tends to hog the blankets

He considers himself a Komala or Snorlax instead of an early bird or night owl

Requires a disturbingly unholy amount of caffeine daily just to barely function

Suffers from a terminal case of bedhead that no brush or hair products can tame and dark circles under the eyes
