Actually I initially posted this in a kinda of invisibile ig profile because I was ashamed (and still are) of showing it because it's not perfect or good enough, although I later changed my mind and now I share it here, because it's the best I can offer at the moment in solidarity with racialized groups that suffer every kind of discrimination and fear for their lives and those of their loved ones everyday as they had been already for centuries (and sadly, worldwide), and the fight against oppression is still on... And they won't be left alone.

This is my humble contribution to let you know ethat they're not alone. I wish I could've done more, to do an homage to all of the victims... The list of names was endless, not only in the USA. It was hurtful to try to portray them, to paint a smile on their faces knowing that they can't smile anymore because the one that swore to protect them took their lives without reason. I can only imagine the pain of their loved ones, a pain that can't find a cure because justice hasn't been made. But the flame that ignites revolution and leads to a change is burning bright, and this is not a call for war* but for hope, because we're angry against injustice, we're not indifferent, and that means we're following the right path or even that we might create a new one, better than the one we were walking through before. A path that leaves no space to Racism or any kind of discrimination.

I must remind to those who are privileged in this failed society that as much as you may be angry because of the outrageous reality we all know and despise, remember you're not meant to be the hero but an ally.

When they talk, we listen, we support, we educate ourselves and help in the best ways we can. Please read the names of the victims, those that I named and the others that I didn't. Inform yourself. Acknowledge that police brutality is a reality and that it must be stopped.

I must add: Tony McDade was a trans man and a victim not only of Racism (&police brutality) but also transphobia.

May 6, 2021 - Mapuche separatists torched logging trucks in occupied Wallmapu. [video]

In the Mapuche territory, in the south of Chile, a beautiful coordinated attack conducted in full day made great noise on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in the region of Araucanía. It is nothing less than eight incendiary attacks in less than 6 hours, from noon to 6 pm, against no less than 26 machines of all types (trucks, carriers, skidders) of the forest industry, which destroys and operates the forests of the territory, and is the subject of a fierce opposition by certain Mapuche groups.

In the midst of the cries of various state stooges who are now asking to reinstate the state of siege in the region or to involve the army to protect the loggers-in particular because a cop who came to stop the attacks took a shot in his bulletproof vest-, this attack was claimed by the RESISTENCIA WEICHAN AUKA MAPU (WAP) group, which left a message on one of the eight sites taken for target:

“Freedom For Mapuche political prisoners and those of revolt. Down with the forest industry, gravel industry, landlords, hydroelectric dams. Down with the Yanaconas. Marichiweu.” This last word, a well-known battle cry in Chile, means in Mapuche “ten and a thousand times we will defeat them”. Yanaconas is a pejorative term that refers to the “traitors”, or the Mapuche working for the forest industry.

Si necesitas razones para ir a votar, feliz te doy razones (también para votar apruebo cc):

a) Por años se estuvo luchando para cambiar este país klo. En octubre de 2019 explotó todo raíz de la desigualdad que vive el país.

b) Las muertes y personas que perdieron ojos debido a la represion por parte de las autoridades no tienen que ser en vano. ¡Por los caídos!

c) Para que la salud, agua y educación no sean un privilegio y sea un derecho básico para el chileno.

d) Para que el wallmapu que ha sido reprimido por años finalmente sea libre. Que los pueblos originarios sean representados y formen parte de la identidad de Chile.

e) Para que Chile sea nuestro, en este momento los dueños de Chile son políticos corruptos que en vez de trabajar por el bien de la ciudadanía es por un bien propio, que Chile sea del pueblo.

f) Acabar con el legado de la dictadura de Pinochet que atormenta a nuestros adultos mayores.

g) Que los niños/adolescentes de “clase media” tengan las mismas oportunidades de educación que los niños de clase alta.

h) Que mejoren las pensiones miserables del adulto mayor que no le alcanza ni para pagar su salud.

ESTA Y MUCHAS MÁS HAY QUE IR A VOTAR, NO HAY EXCUSA PARA EXPRESAR TU OPINIÓN.

NO LO HAGAS POR TI, HAZLO POR LOS OPRIMIDOS, LOS OLVIDADOS POR EL GOBIERNO.

Por los niños del sename, por nuestros abuelitos, por los futuros niños, por nuestros pueblos originarios, por aquellos que no pueden pagar por su enfermedad.
