I slept like shit last night so I’m hella fucking tired today, but I need to study these flash cards and do a bunch of chores around the house cuz my abuelita is coming over to stay with us for some doctors appointments, but I can already tell it’s gonna be a bad time this weekend 🙃

#my mom and abuelita have been arguing over this for the past couple weeks #the main issue is that my Abuelita for some reason is scared of Frida even though Frida is very nice and listens #Frida just gets excited about meeting new people and can get a little crazy but she listens when we tell her to stop and sit #tbh my abuelita just needs to let Frida smell her but she won’t cuz she’s scared #she’s seen how nice and playful and cuddly Frida is but scared cuz she’s a big dog and part pitbull #my mom even got a little gate so Frida won’t follow my Abuelita and my Abuelita can stay in the bedroom #but now my abuelita is complaining that she’ll feel trapped in the house cuz she can’t just walk around freely #but we’re not gonna leave Frida outside all weekend/she’s not and never gonna be an outside dog/we treat her extremely well #this weekend is gonna fucking sucks and be full of complaints and arguments and shit 🙃 #jazz uses curse! 💜

#i want a pitbull i love them i think they are so cute #my uncle has a pittie mix and she is the sweetest thing in the world #and i want a big doggo that i can take on walks #and i want to train a dog to put my behaviorism classes to practical work #and also i want to learn how to train a therapy dog if possible. tho of course that depends on the temperament #ok but I’m in the middle of undergrad and housing will be. so much harder with a dog #and i would have to be real careful w Marcy bc large dogs and cats can coexist but you just have to be really purposeful #i think Marcy would adjust bc she lived with my parents dog for the first year of her life before he passed away #and they got along well
