Introducing Zach and Violet’s Kiddos!

So, I’ve decided to make a reference post for each child Zach and Violet have together, but to start off with, I’m going to give you their names and reference pictures!

I’ve listed each child according to their age, from oldest to youngest. I created all the images through Apple’s Memoji feature, and I made the decision to show each child as they will look once they are teens/adults, because the children feature through Memoji looks odd to me, lol.

I’m working on references for each child, so stay tuned! I’ll also include the links to the references in this post after each child’s name as something of a master list!

This week are all fanart of PBS characters done from 2014-2016.

I grew up on PBS, and I still indulge on some of their shows currently. Wordgirl was one of my favorites.

This is a Zach and Victoria Song 🥺

I haven’t figured out all the details, but Zach and his and Violet’s youngest daughter Victoria have a falling out when Victoria eloped with a man who was none other than an up and coming villain. Zach assumed he had all the wrong intentions when Victoria told her parents of their relationship.

Zach didn’t want Victoria to go through the same struggles as he and Violet had. Zach returns to villainy in an attempt to defeat Victoria’s love, but it comes at a great cost, Zach and Victoria do not speak for a few years. During this time, Victoria’s husband passes from the result of injuries acquired during one of his evil missions.

At this time Victoria also learns she is expecting a child, Victoria dreams of having her father serve as the paternal figure to her child and becoming a teacher. She knows she cannot stay mad with her father forever, so she reaches back out to Zach to tell him about the baby, and they soon reconcile.

Hi!!! Thank you so much for the ask! In response to this post! I’m going to answer for Zach and Violet’s youngest daughter/child Victoria! Please note there are pregnancy, childbirth, labor and delivery, and hospital mentions/ TWs within this post.

Picrew Link (This is how I imagine Victoria looking as a teen/adult, Violet finally got one child who looked, well, uhhh, more like her, lol)

Victoria was a complete surprise for Zach and Violet…meaning she is the product of a cryptic pregnancy and a botched vasectomy (Zach never returned to the doctor to ensure it had worked 😅).

Violet and Zach went to the hospital one evening after leaving the older children with the Wild Kratts Crew thinking she had appendicitis, just to find out Violet was in labor without knowing she was pregnant. One speedy delivery, a bunch of panicking and crying (from Zach and Violet because they were in shock), and a ton of medical tests (to ensure Victoria was healthy), and three days later, they left the hospital with baby Victoria!

After the initial shock of Victoria’s arrival wore off, Zach, Violet, and their four older children excitedly welcomed the newest edition to the family. She is loved and doted on by every member of her family, earning her the title “Princess Victoria.”

Ziolet Kiddo Refs!!! Varina Edition!

I decided it’s finally time to post the refs for Zach Varmitech and my OC Violet’s children! In total, Zach and Violet have 5 children! Varina, Vera, Victor, Vallen, and Victoria! Ahhh, I know that’s a lot, but I’m living vicariously through them, and I feel like Zach’s the type of guy that, once he has a child, would want more and more, lol. And Violet’s happy to oblige: She absolutely loves being a mommy!

So without further ado, here is their oldest child/daughter Varina!

Varina Virginia Varmitech

This is long, so I’m placing the rest below the cut, please note there is mention of pregnancy, stillbirth, premature birth, open heart surgery, and loss of child in this reference.

The Basics:

Birthday: May 31st, 2015 (born six weeks early, was due around July 17th).

A Rainbow After A Storm: Varina is Violet and Zach’s honeymoon baby and rainbow baby. They had a stillborn daughter, Alexandria, in July of 2014, so they were not expecting to have another child so soon after this loss. But they decided to start trying for another baby after their wedding ceremony in October of 2014 and…Violet and Zach found out they were having Varina the day of the Annual Villains Meeting (AKA, the Under Frozen Pond Episode)! Thanks to some deductive reasoning from Gourmand and Donita, lol.

Name Meaning: Varina - Strange, yet to be discovered; Virginia - Pure. Named for the fact that she was a pure, unexpected gift. After losing their first daughter, Alexandria, Zach and Violet never thought they’d become parents, but parenthood found them through the unexpected arrival of Varina! She was also given her middle name of Virginia after Violet (Violet Virginia) and Violet’s mother (Virginia).

Nicknames: Vari (Used by Zach, Martin, and her siblings); Sweet Peach (Used by Gourmand)…More to be added?

Physical Features:

Hair Color/Type: Dark Brown, she gets caramel colored highlights in it as she gets older; her hair is long, nearly waist length, it is naturally wavy/has lose curls. She prefers to style it in braided buns, braids, regular buns, or ponytails.

Eye color/ Shape: Blue-Violet, almond shaped - She emphasizes the color with purple eye makeup like her mother Violet.

Signature Colors: Purple and Gray

Style: Girly, preppy, feminine.

Height: 5’2” - She’s petite like her mom, but she is two inches taller than Violet.

She has Violet’s face structure: a muted triangle, she has Violet’s lips. She has Zach’s nose, she has pierced ears, she has a mixture of Violet’s and Zach’s builds, and she has a scar in the center of her chest from the open heart surgery she had shortly after her birth. She has a fair skin tone that is somewhere in between her father’s and mother’s. As a child she had freckles.

Personality/ Relationships:

Personality: Sassy, snarky, sweet, intelligent, bright, observant, devoted, determined, detail oriented. Varina has Zach’s temper and Violet’s spunky attitude and heart. She’s never afraid to stand up for what she believes, and she won’t take no for an answer when she believes deeply in something.

Relationships With Family: She’s a total daddy’s girl, she’s also a mommy’s girl; she is an excellent and loving big sister to all of her siblings. She takes on more of a friendship role with Vera and more of a protective and caring role with her brothers and Victoria. She acts as a second mother to all of her siblings quite often, leading them to get aggravated with him and tease her about being a second mom to them.

Love Interest/Future Family: JJ Z @rosey100’s OC who is the son of Jimmy Z and Koki. I feel like she and JJ marry and become parents at some point, but I’m unsure of what children they have together, any suggestions @rosey100? I initially headcanoned that she became a young/teen mother, but I’m not so sure anymore. If it did happen, I feel like it would make Zach have a heart attack, but he’s wrapped around her finger so he deals with it and love the baby 💜.

Talents/Career:

Special Talents/ Future Career: Varina is very intelligent like her parents, but her skill set is more in tune with Violet’s. Varina is a talented singer, dancer (ballet is her specialty), and pianist like Violet. She thrives academically in every subject, but prefers history, literature, business, and the sciences, particularly, environmental, biology, and zoology based courses. She graduates Valedictorian of her high school class and maintains a 4.0 GPA throughout college. Varina ends up becoming the joint CEO of Varmitech Industries, along with her brother Victor, following Zach’s passing.

A Few of Her Favorite Things:

Christmas is her favorite holiday, she loves everything about the Christmas season, she also enjoys Halloween.

She typically consumes a vegetarian diet, loving fruits, vegetables, bread, and sweets, but she will eat fish, seafood, and white meat occasionally.

Music: Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Elton John, AURORA, Lindsey Stirling, Oh Wonder, The Greatest Showman Soundtrack, Halsey, and Melanie Martinez (she’s got her mother’s music taste) are among her favorites.

Animals/Nature: She love all animals, but her favorites are elephants, bears, foxes, butterflies, cats, giraffes. She also loves all types of flowers and being out in nature during any season, but spring and summer are her favorite seasons. She becomes a Wild Kratts kid early on.

She loved Winnie the Pooh as a child, and other classic Disney animated movies and shows, like Kim Possible, all the princess movies, and any of the movies about animals (Aristrocats, The Rescuers, etc.)

The version of Varina listed in this post is exclusive to my Wild Violet AU. @trin-draws-art has a younger (teen) version of Varina included in her Kids on the New Block Au (KOTNB) . In this AU, Varina has much of the same attitude, but her look is a bit different, and she has a different love interest, @trin-draws-art OC Marissa Kratt. The Basics:

Birthday: December 14th, 2019 (4 years younger than Varina)

Drinking, A Fashion Show, and a Christmas Wish: Violet and Zach had been told they never would be able to have another child after Varina’s traumatic birth, but they wanted more children and Varina kept asking for a little sibling every year for Christmas…until her wish finally came true. Vera is the product of a wild night at one of Donita’s fashion shows when Zach and Violet were there to provide security (Zach’s Zachbots) and entertainment (Violet sang in the show). Donita gave them a little too much to drink….and Vera happened…As such, Donita often claims Vera as her own child, and they form a very strong bond.

Name Meaning: Vera - True; Vanica - Gift of God. Named for the fact that she was a true gift from God (see section above 😊). It should be noted that her name is pronounced “Vaira,” Zach and Violet collectively agreed that they hated “Veara” as a pronunciation.

Nicknames: Ve (By Zach and her siblings), Ve-Bee (By Martin), My Protégée (By Donita)….others to be added?

Physical Features:

Hair Color/Type: Dark Brown, but a shade lighter than Varina’s; long hair, but not as long as Varina’s - it goes to the bottom her rib cage; her hair is naturally wavy/has lose curls. She prefers to style it in a ponytail, down, with headbands and hair accessories, or with braids.

Eye color/ Shape: Emerald Green, round - they look just like Zach’s eyes. She uses darker eye makeup (browns and greens) to accentuate her eye color.

Signature Colors: Lime Green, Rose Pink, Black, and ✨Sparkle ✨

Style: Girly-Chic, preppy, formal, high fashion (she’s a girly-girl and complete fashionista).

Height: 5’4” - She’s taller than both Violet and Varina, something she likes to tease them about 😂.

Vera is the type of person who knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to put in the work or effort to achieve her goals. This does not mean that she’s heartless though, she never wants to hurt or harm anyone with her actions, so she tries to ensure that everyone she works with or associates with is treated fairly and is comfortable with her and her decisions. She goes the extra mile to make sure those around her are loved and cared for.

Relationships With Family: She’s a total daddy’s girl and mommy’s girl. She is a loving sister to all of her siblings. Given her position as one of the older children, she does take on more of a caring role toward her younger brothers and Victoria, but nothing like Varina’s motherly role. She’s more of the older, wiser, fun sister they can come to about anything with no fear of judgment. She has the strongest relationships with Varina and Vallen, they both, in many ways, are her best friends.

Love Interest/Future Family: Due to the demands of her career, Vera does not pursue love until later in her life, she is well into her 20s when she finally decides to start dating, and even then love finds her unexpectedly. When visiting with the Wild Kratts crew on break from her touring schedule, she becomes reacquainted with a fellow Wild Kratts Kid, Nolan (please note I only ship her with the fictional version of Nolan, not the actual person, and I only ship them together as adults).

As children they were great friends, but once they are adults their friendship blossoms into a romance. I imagine that once Vera is in her 30s she decides she wants to start a life with Nolan. She still performs locally and releases music from time to time, but does not tour. Nolan is very supportive of her career and encourages her constantly, being so proud of the fact that she uses the proceeds of her career to help others and animals (see section below for more info).

They marry and have a couple children together (I feel like a boy and girl 😊). She and Nolan, along with Vallen and some other former Wild Kratts kids, eventually take over the Wild Kratts organization, carrying on the legacy of the original Wild Kratts Crew (@creativegenius22 helped me figure out the relationship/dynamic between Vera and Nolan! Thank you!).

Zach’s reformed by this point, but he still grips about the fact that his daughter married a Wild Rat and is a Wild Rat, so a similar reaction as he had with Varina and JJ.

Talents/Career:

Special Talents/ Future Career: Vera is very intelligent like her parents, and while she thrived academically in school (always making the honor roll and getting good grades), she decided to channel her creativity for her career. She is a skilled pianist, singer, and gymnast, and she excels in ballet and lyrical dance. When she became a teenager she decided she wanted to pursue a career as a musician. Much like Violet, she gets started locally around her home, performing in talent shows, etc.

Donita observes Vera’s talent and decides to take her on as a model and performer for her fashion shows (at this point Donita has stopped using animals for fashion), just like she did with Violet. This is Vera’s start and she gains a strong fan base. After a couple years she decides to go out on her own, but is nervous to perform alone.

Vallen had joined her many times when she worked for Donita, so once he graduated from high school, they form a sibling duo group much like Velvet and Veneer. They often donate many of the proceeds from their shows to animal conservation and cancer foundations; in particular they help donate to the Kratt Brother’s Animal foundations. They perform together for a few years, then Vallen quits to pursue a career in zoology, at which point Vera comfortably becomes a solo musician.

A Few of Her Favorite Things/Fun Facts:

Christmas and Valentine’s Day are her favorite holidays. Even though she doesn’t have a romantic love interest to celebrate Valentine’s Day for many years, she just loves love and enjoys the day with her loved ones.

She typically consumes a pescatarian vegetarian diet, loving fruits, vegetables, fish/seafood, bread, and sweets. She will eat red and white meat on occasion, but it is rare, it typically only happens at holidays if it’s a dish she really likes.

Music: She love boy bands and pop music, some of her favorites are … Britney Spears, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Big Time Rush, The Wanted, Conor Maynard, Halsey, and Melanie Martinez.

Animals/Nature: She love all animals, but her favorites are nearly any type of bird (humming birds, cardinals, peacocks, doves are just a few of her favorites), butterflies, dragonflies, big cats, domestic cats, rabbits, pandas. She also loves all types of flowers, but roses are her favorite flower. Spring and winter are her favorite seasons.

She is not as outdoorsy as her other siblings, she, like Zach, prefers to stay indoors, but she will go outside and enjoy nature when the weather is nice. She becomes a Wild Kratts kid early on.

She loved Sofia the First as a child, and other classic Disney movies and shows, like all the princess movies: Princess and the Frog is her favorite animated movie. Another interesting show she enjoyed was Green Acres: she loved Mrs. Douglas’s sense of fashion. She absolutely loved the High School Musical Series, Ryan and Sharpay being her favorite characters. She also loved Trolls…especially Velvet and Veneer 😂. My, my, wonder why she became a fashionista and singer…

I’m Having An Existential Crisis Over The Twins Eye Color 😭!

Hi all! I’m in the process of making references for Zach and Violet’s children! I know some of you have been asking about the kiddos, and I think it’s time I reveal the details! I am still not 100% certain on all their details, but I’m going to try to give you all a good baseline for each child 😊.

So far I’ve mainly discussed their oldest daughters Varina and Vera, but they have three more children! Twin boys Victor and Vallen, and another little girl, Victoria. I have an idea of what they all look like, but I’m a bit hung up on the eye color for the boys.

Since they are twins I think they are identical or nearly identical. I’ve always thought Vallen had blue-violet eyes and black hair, but Victor is the one I’m questioning. Victor 100% has Zach’s jet black hair, but I’m not sure if he has Violet’s eye color or Zach’s eye color.

So what do you all think would be a good eye color combination for the Varmitech twins? (The hearts represent the color choices)

Básicamente si. Aunque pueden haber excepciones.

Después del primer encuentro el equipo pasa los siguientes meses haciendo sacrificios sin pedir ni esperar nada a cambio. Se les quedó grabada la imagen del venado y lo calmado que se veía, por lo que empezaron a juntar animalitos callejeros para darles esa misma paz. Total, si estaban enfermos o heridos, sufriendo en vida, mejor acabar rápido con todo y ya de paso cumplir con su parte del trato.

Hasta que llega el episodio "Falcon City"

La situación ocurre casi igual: viendo palomas y halcones, el nido en el edificio de Zach, la limpieza. Oh no, el nido, ¿cómo van a detenerlo?

...

Encienden una fogata en un callejón cercano. El fuego baila y brilla.

"Dijiste que nos ayudarías. Necesitamos esa ayuda ahora."

Les pidió plumas del halcón. Nadie entendía nada mientras las veían arder hasta que se consumieron por completo y en su lugar apareció:

Es así como nacen los Super Trajes Animales.

Pero solo por esta ocasión, dijo, será así de fácil. Solo porque han sido buenos cumpliendo con su parte.

Dos discos brillantes yacían entre las llamas. Después de unos momentos, Martin y Chris se atreven a tomarlos. El fuego no les quema y al tocarlos éstos se fusionan con sus manos y cuerpos, dándoles la forma de los trajes.

Se sentían bien. ¡Mejor que bien! Con fuerza y ligereza a la vez. Con este nuevo poder logran evitar que Zach limpie su edificio. Cientos de zachbots son destruidos hasta que consiguen asustar a Zach lo suficiente para que se detenga.

¡Misión cumplida!

Oh no, parece que viene la policía. Cierto que causaron bastantes destrozos lanzando robots aquí y allá... Con los trajes aún funcionando, los hermanos toman al resto del equipo y se van volando hasta llegar a una de sus guaridas secretas. Llegan al atardecer y aunque cansados, están felices. Por fin ¡Por fin! ¡Una victoria! ¡¡Una victoria de verdad!! No tanto por el halcón, sino porque ¡por fin pudieron hacer algo en contra de Zach!

"Oh, todavía no terminamos" Los hermanos miran a las chicas con curiosidad, ellas sonriendo con malicia. Mientras los hermanos estaban destruyendo zachbots, los otros tres se encargaron de grabar todo el destrozo (por alguna razón los segmentos donde salían los trajes estaban corruptos... Seguro no es nada de qué preocuparse) y ahora solamente tenían que subir esos videos a internet. No iban a conseguir mucho, pero una pequeña mancha en la perfecta imagen Industrias Varmitech era el comienzo.

El comienzo de una guerra que ahora tenían posibilidades de ganar.
