“My lord.”
After genuine minutes of the perfumers trying to get her attention, Dany raises her head, sullen in her eyes. A mixture of despair and acceptance, clinging to her like parasites, wanting control over the very beat of her heart. This does not happen, instead leaving her in a dreamlike limbo.
“We’ve done all we can... but even the Elden Lord cannot change matters like this.” One of them softly pats her leg in comfort. “Her Majesty, and Lord Radagon too, they will understand. It will take time, but they will.”
She swallows. “... Please resume your duties. Thank you for everything you’ve done.”
Nodding and bowing deeply in apologies and respect, the perfumers slink away, closing the door behind them.
Scooting up to sit properly on her bed, she sighs deep in her bosom, touching her belly lightly. She’d wanted to have children so terribly, that any other wouldn’t bear the burden of childbirth alone and her own wishes to have a huge family. Marika would manage to hide her disappointment, while Radagon would... Well, he’d been kind, doting, and loyal to her, with her stance as a consort herself. They hadn’t spoken much lately, mostly because Dany had about demanded that he reestablish his connection with Rennala. Right now, the queen of the moon is comfortably in the observatory, with many visitors that she may no longer hear the crushing silence.
Marika, at first, was displeased, confused as well, but as if seeking redemption for her past sins agreed to this course of events, and has since been quiet aside from her queenly duties.
And here’s the Queen’s Consort, the Elden Lord of Dragons. Whom could shake mountains and tame the very seas - and yet could not bear a child of dragons.

... and some bitter people keep screeching that the Starks are the protagonists. ASOIAF is a phenomenon because of those messy dragonlords, it is known.
The whole expanded verse is Daenerys Targaryen's legacy.

Hiya! It is me, Gentle Anon, I have more information on Babey II! I imagine that since she gives birth to Dany’s heirs, she would have more than one. Though if they all share the same father or not, I have no idea.
The first born is Daenys, a close name to Daenerys. Babey II wanted to honor her sister and name the first born after her. Daenys is male and would obviously have the Targaryen Silver hair and Purple eyes.
The second born is Maelora. It’s close to the name I have in mind for both Babey and Babey II whenever I read your stories. Maelora is female and would probably not have the silver hair, but would indeed have purple eyes.
Also I like to think that in this AU, what if Dany actually succeeded in becoming Queen like she wanted to (gonna ignore season 8 because…why)
This is so cool!
Daenys is such an awesome name, because it echoes one of the biggest figures in the Targ mythos - Daenys the Dreamer, the girl who foresees the Doom before it happens and persuades her father to leave Valyria. Because of her, House Targaryen survives where the rest of the Dragonlords perish.
Maelora is also a really cool name! It sounds so damn Targaryen, I love it!
I like to ignore the last couple episodes of Season 8 when I consider GoT canon; as far as I'm concerned, Dany is Queen and no one can change my miiiiiiiiind. My favourite fic "re-write" is Winter Came (With Fire and Blood) by ellizablue on AO3 - it's so fucking beautiful and unreal and works with Episodes 1-5. It's my canon, tbh.
Thank you for sharing your Babey II 'verse with me, Gentle Anon! I've loved getting to learn about the gal with Babey's name, haha. She sounds like a hoot!

Visaera Targaryen | A Dragon Hidden Amongst Vipers
Game of Thrones verse
Tumblr media
A distant cousin of Daenerys, Viserys, and Rhaegar, Visaera was hidden away at Sunspear when Robert usurped the Iron Throne. They would continue to dye her silver hair a dark brown to help her blend in and gave her the name Nymeria Sand, keeping her at the capital as a servant and training her in secret. They wanted revenge on the Lannister’s, and Visaera was going to help them do that by turning her into a deadly weapon. They even guided her to Essos so she can learn High Valyrian, and taught her how to read it as well. When she hears of her real family, the dragonlords of Old Valyria, is how much she longs for a dragon.

Jasmine and I were left alone... things happened... there are now new group verses...
verse 19; the sky is going to say my name
I think we have talked about this one before. Regardless, we fleshed it out more. Valyria never endures the Doom and thrives through the centuries, conquering the majority of Essos until the draognlords rule over it. Across the Narrow Sea, Westeros remains split between an abundance of kingdoms, each continuously vying for power and prosperity amongst its borders. Kings and queens from Westeros frequently reach out across the sea to the dragonlords, seeking to contract them to conquer their enemies for them.
verse 20; we will be legendary
When the Long Night ends, a new Age of Heroes begins. Daenerys’ reign stretches for thousands of years, mirroring the fabled heroes spoken of in legend. Though winter is believed to be no more, history begins to repeat itself and threats begin to pour forth from the Far North.
verse 21; our flame burns on and on
Known as ‘Marriage of Convenience’ verse. Also known as ‘Idiots in Love’ verse. To help another individual avoid dire circumstances/arrangements or problems, someone offers to marry them. The marriage solves difficulties/problems for both individuals (no matter what the problem might be). Both believe that the marriage is nothing more than a contract --a mutual agreement-- never suspecting that the other truly loves them.
Can also be called ‘There Will Be Angst’ verse... because there will. Or ‘Liz’s Favorite of the Three.’

pls talk more abt ur gremlin dany i love them??? is there anywhere i can find more
thank you so much for being interested in my gremlin daenerys #fire and blood verse; i write in fragments, so i haven’t actually cobbled together a coherent narrative that i can Post As A Fic lmao... One Day I Will Manage This
but i am ALWAYS willing to talk about my ocs! here is a rambly dump of info about daenerys under the cut!
- as a general rule, daenerys has little interest in ruling anything. unfortunately, as a targaryen, people are always going to expect them to be as ambitious and power-hungry as their predecessors. their main concerns in life are towards their dragons and the impending winter. once this winter has ended--and, hopefully, every unnatural season with it, if their vague, uncertain supposition of what happened in the show holds true--they’re planning on retiring to slaver’s bay permanently or essosi sheeplands where their dragons can hunt and roam freely.
... literally the best thing about being in asoiaf is the dragons, okay, they can be forgiven for mostly just being interested in their dragons
- the only title that they really care for is “dragonlord” because, to their mind, dragonlord is the only title that they can freely claim without having to Rule Anything. like. they have dragons. they’re a dragonlord. that’s all there is to it
- my Targaryen Lore is that those of dragonlord heritage have a predisposition for warging with dragons due to long and close association together. daenerys communicates with their dragons via a combination of words and thought-images and thinks that that’s a totally normal thing to do, but nope, that’s because they’ve got dragonlord blood.
you don’t need to be of dragonlord lineage to ride a dragon--the only requirement for riding a dragon is the dragon letting you--but communication is more limited unless you can warg. it is rare, historically, to ride a dragon without a dragonlord or even a warging lineage to speak of, for a variety of different reasons, but it has happened.
- their dragons are named champion, herald, and warden. in canon, these are--in order--drogon, rhaegal, and viserion
champion, as the largest of the bunch, is the most intimidating, and he is very aware of this. when daenerys needs a thread display, he’s generally the one who steps up to the plate
all of them are more well-behaved and more well-trained than in canon, so like. don’t worry about them being chained up or hunting things down indiscriminately, lol. they’re all good boys
(like, on one hand, i get dragons becoming hard to control as they grow older. but. also. dragons have been used as mounts for CENTURIES. THEY ARE AT LEAST SEMI-DOMESTICATED. PLEASE. JUST LET ME HAVE MY DRAGONS WHO ALL LIKE TO BE SCRATCHED)
- daenerys’ fashion, when they have access to such clothing, remains largely in the sphere of: mainly loose hair with a bit pulled back from the face (and here’s another perspective) or their hair pulled into a tucked braid updo; the blue dragonscale-textured dresses that we all love; the loose, flowy fabrics; and like. trousers. i was looking for canon examples for references and then i got tired. the hair is the important part--they pretty much never do any of the more complicated braids dany does
- i made oc friends for them! at slaver’s bay, their friend group is kazzek, jhezza, and imri. kazzek and jhezza (both native to the region) had been house slaves and imri (born to those who had been from the free cities) had been in the fighting pits.
kazzek is wary of outsiders--especially those with no one to vouch for them--but fiercely loyal once his trust and respect have been earned. any slight against his friends is taken personally. (in most AUs, he is the rider for their third dragon, warden.)
jhezza is softer-spoken and conciliatory, with a warm, friendly demeanor, but that does not mean that she is naive or spineless. she chooses which battles to fight and which to let go of.
imri had not liked fighting, had not liked the way his life hung in the balance every time he stepped foot into the ring. he is tired of brutality, of inflicting it and receiving it. he will use his bulk and his scarred body to intimidate, when need be, but he is more of a gentle giant than anything.
- daenerys and jon become friends in Every World And Every AU. mostly because jon is one of my favorite asoiaf characters (dark-haired, sullen-faced with a giant wolf and a cloak???? Fuck Yeah) but also because there are . a LOT of things about jon and daenerys that interest me
like, the similarities between their lives?? the way that they have both found homes in foreign places (jon with the watch and the free folk, daenerys in slaver’s bay), the way they both carry with them living emblems of their houses (jon with ghost the direwolf, daenerys with their three dragons), the way some part of their birthright has been denied to them (jon as a bastard raised among trueborn siblings, daenerys as a targaryen whose family had been deposed), the way they both have siblings that if things had been different would have ruled (jon with robb as the future lord stark, daenerys with viserys who had always dreamed of reclaiming the iron throne), the way they look exactly as you would expect a stark and targaryen to look and still they manage to subvert expectations
and the differences between them... even just aesthetically... the dark hair of a stark vs the silver-gold of a targaryen... the heavy clothing of the north vs the light, flimsier fabrics of the south... FIRE AND ICE...
daenerys is already well-disposed toward jon, as a si/oc, and jon becomes pretty fond of them in turn
in an au i have where “canon jon goes back in time but also to the left to end up in the past but in a world with si/oc daenerys instead of canon dany,” jon has been planning this whole time for Canon Dany And Whatever The Fuck Happened There, and what he gets is... si/oc daenerys, who comes to westerosi with the title “dragonlord” and who wants nothing to do with the iron throne. he is caught very off-guard and is very suspicious but eventually accepts that apparently dany’s behavior is not as set in stone as he thought it was
i also have... a transdimensional timeloop au where every time jon and daenerys die, they end up in another world and integrate into that version of themselves. this is because i wanted to keep making aus but didn’t want to keep making new pages so i just lumped them all into this one LMAO they’re the only ones who loop and they always loop together, so they generally 1) try to actually help the realm and their families or 2) decide “yeah, this isn’t worth it” and go off into the wilderness together. sometimes they go beyond the wall, sometimes they make their way over to slaver’s bay

NOTE:  These are all subject to change and more verses will come with time. If you want to build a verse between Clementine and your muse, please ask or IM me. Thank you for reading.
CANONICAL VERSES
Basically, these verses all play a part in Clementine’s default timeline and make up who she is. She is single in default. If you’d like to discuss a ship, please IM me.
v; take us back ( SEASON ONE. ) - The outbreak has just emerged and amidst the madness, she meets a man named Lee Everett. This verse is set from ages eight to nine and follows the events of Season One, from the day the apocalypse began, when she met Lee, traveling with the group, until the day Lee dies and afterward, when she travels with Omid and Christa.
v; better to sleep ( SEASON TWO. ) It's been two years since Lee's death. Omid is dead. Christa and Clementine are brutally separated, and now Clementine must survive and walk her own path, be it for the better or for worse. This verse is set from age eleven to twelve and follows the events of Season Two, from her time spent with Omid and Christa to that fateful day in the snow, and afterward, whatever that ending might be.
v; from the gallows ( SEASON THREE: A NEW FRONTIER. ) - Whether she ended up traveling with Kenny, going back to Howe's with Jane, staying in Wellington or going off on her own, Clementine is determined to look after the small infant AJ... until they are forcibly separated. On a quest for vengeance, Clementine decides to seek out David Garcia and demand what happened to the only living person she loved left. This verse is set from age thirteen to fifteen and follows the events of Season Three: A New Frontier, from spending time with who she stayed with at the conclusion of the Second Season, to meeting and aiding the Garcia family, to heading out to find AJ at the McCaroll Ranch, and the events that happen afterward.
v; suffer the children ( THE FINAL SEASON. ) - She and AJ have finally reunited after all these years and now, after the traumatic events of the McCaroll Ranch, they roam the walker-infested country for a few years until that fateful car crash where they meet other survivors at the establishment known as Ericson's Academy For Troubled Youth. This verse is set from age sixteen to eighteen and beyond and follows the events of The Final Season, from spending time with AJ and her newfound companions at the school, to battling raiders, and overall becoming the leader she was forged to become, and whatever else may come her way - this is also her default verse, essentially meaning that this is the most commonly used verse.
ALTERNATE UNIVERSES
These verses still take place in The Walking Dead universe, but these verses don’t follow Clementine’s default plotline. Please be aware that these verses are divergent to canon!
v; in cold blood ( DARK!CLEMENTINE. ) - Clementine's mind slowly becomes darker and demented the more she ages, she begins to look at the world in a nepotistic way, and she will do whatever it takes to survive, and she will brutally murder whoever stands in her way. This verse begins in Season Two and will continue onward from there.
CROSSOVERS
Basically, these verses have nothing to do with The Walking Dead in particular, or they may just be original verses of mine that have nothing to do with The Walking Dead. These can range from other fandoms to anime series.
v; we are the new AMERICANA. ( MODERN. ) - Clementine has just moved to West Virginia, having left her home state to attend Ericson's. There are no walkers, there is no apocalypse, there is no suffering, heartbreak or death. Clementine lives her life as she's always wanted to. She babysits AJ as a side job and stays at home with her uncle and history teacher, Lee. She meets new friends there and is a student in the arts, as well as taking an interest in music, photography and martial arts. Life is good.
v; she is the S L A Y E R ( BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER AU. ) - Clementine was chosen as a young girl to become the next slayer. The burden has been kept on her shoulders since she was seven years old. She moves to West Virginia from her home state of Georgia and attends Ericson's Academy and meets her teacher Lee Everett, whom is later revealed to be her guardian who will train her in becoming a better slayer. She attends her school as a student but in the cover of night she kills whatever dark creature lurks in the shadows.
v; never tickle a sleeping D R A G O N ( HARRY POTTER AU. ) - Clementine has been sent a letter via owl by either Hogwarts or Ilvermorny - it depends on the verse - and attends her school life as a young witch there. If she heads to Ilvermorny, she is a Thunderbird, if she attends Hogwarts, she is a Gryffindor. This verse primarily follows book canon, but can also follow movie canon as well - she desires to become an Auror and excels in her courses.
v; a soaring KUNOICHI from the CLOUDS ( NARUTO AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; wicked rest uneasy ( SUPERNATURAL AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; bitch better have my MONEY ( MAFIA AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; the age of G O D S ( DEITY AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; she's a killer Q U E E N ( ROYALTY AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; i'm coming for you like a DARK HORSE. ( FANTASY AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; blood and ashes ( THE HUNGER GAMES AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; fallen angel ( VAMPIRE AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; she wolf ( WEREWOLF AU. ) - COMING SOON.
v; you should see me in a C R O W N ( A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE/GAME OF THRONES AU. ) - COMING SOON. There are several options for this verse, and it mostly follows book canon, but exceptions can be made for show canon, as well. There are five options as of right now - one where she is the handmaiden of Margaery Tyrell as a token of good faith from the Summer Isles in King’s Landing, another where she is kidnapped by slavers, sold into slavery and when Daenerys Targaryen invades Meereen, Clementine essentially helps her to revolt and she becomes one of her most loyal comrades, another where she is a sellsail leading her own sellsword and sellsail company and she raids the lands of Essos and Westeros, another where she is groomed to become the next Black Pearl of Braavos, a famous courtesan in the area, and another with her being a dragonrider of the Valyrian Freehold, a product between a union of a high classed Valyrian dragonlord and a princess from the Summer Isles where there are rumors circulating that her father is actually Aenar Targaryen.

Most Unexpected Places / A Song of Ice & Fire
a Lady's maid in King's Landing, Clary spends her days dutifully serving her queen. In truth, her job is a bit more complicated. She had learned early on that the true currency in a Lannister household might be gold, but what retained its value in the bankrupt regency was information - & as someone whose job is to be seen & not heard, she's accumulated quite a lot of that.
tag: ☆ ❛ most unexpected places ❜ || verse. ( au. — asoiaf )
No one really knows much about how clary came to be a guest in Kings Landing or a lady the Queen's services, but her recommendations were superb, & she was adequately vouched for by House Rykker in a bid to regain some social standing within the court. In theory, she was a good candidate for keeping the princess in line when she wasn't with her governess - in practice, it's all a bit more complicated than that.
Clary & her mother fled Essos before she was even born with the help of Varys, crossing the Narrow Sea to land in Duskendale. Jocelyn would eventually give birth to Clary, & the two of them would be invited as guests to King's Landing. In the aftermath of Robert's Rebellion, Jocelyn was able to fly under the radar & establish herself as a valuable ally in the queen's service. Eventually, her daughter would follow - raised alongside Myrcella as an older playmate to the princess.
Like her mother, Clary would eventually fall into Varys' service, becoming one of his Little Birds.
options for interaction
option i. meeting in King's Landing
Clary came to King's Landing when she was very young, & has spent most of her life there in service as a playmate to Princess Myrcella. She can often be found in various places within the Red Keep - her favorites are the Godswood & the various libraries, but she's also intimately familiar with the secret passages throughout the Keep.
option ii. meeting in the city proper.
As a lady in the princess' services, Clary very rarely officially sets foot in the city, but sometimes needs must, & she's quite familiar with the Street of Looms, Street of Seeds, & Street of Flour.
option iii. in winterfell
Given her status as a lady in Myrcella Baratheon's service, she's part of the household that travels North with the King & his family.
option iv. meeting in another city.
In the event that Clary is sent away from King's Landing, it's possible she & her mother would venture to any number of other cities within Westeros so this option is always available with plotting.
verse specific notes
Clary is wholly unaware of her brother, who is very much alive & well in Essos.
like her brother, Clary is a descendent of the Dragonlords - one of the noble families from the Valyrian Freehold. she is also unaware of this fact, as she takes after her mother & lacks any significant features that would identify her as such.
this is further supported by the canon fact that after four hundred years, the surviving Valyrian colonists in the Free Cities have intermingled with the local populations to such an extent that they no longer exist as a major, distinct group anyway.
Because she & Jonathan both are descendants of one of the other Dragonlord families in pre-Doom Old Valyria, they have no relation to Daenerys, but there's a sense of implied loyalty given the shared history of their people.
like her brother, Clary was also victim to her father's experimentations on her before she was born. she's unaware of this, or what it could mean for her.

conquest verse
verse headcanons || { always accepting }
{ @neverflownwithme }
Laira’s mother was one of three wives of Gaemon Targaryen. Her mother hailed from another Valyrian dragonlord family, House Saito.
She is the eldest of all of her siblings, older than her eldest brother by approximately two moons.
Her sisters are, in fact, her half-sisters through her father. Each of them have different mothers, all of which are from Valyrian families.
Laira was engaged at one point in her youth to marry her eldest half-brother, Rhaegar. This arrangement was never fulfilled. When Daenerys was born to Gaemon’s sister-wife, Daenys, Laira was relieved of her arrangement. Rhaegar was, instead, engaged to Daenerys to ensure that the Targaryen line stayed pure.
When Laira is fourteen her mother, Azarni, departs Valyria on dragonback and never returns. She is presumed dead.
Two years before the Doom of Valyria, Laira and Hea have prophetic dreams depicting the catastrophic event in detail. Both urge their father to abandon the freehold and sail elsewhere. Gaemon dismisses them both, believing their dreams to be the beginnings of madness. Only Daenerys believes them. Only a short week after expressing concerns to their father, the three sisters flee Valyria and make for Dragonstone, taking only their three dragon mounts and a clutch of eggs that Laira’s mount has recently laid.
Laira is tall, standing nearly a foot taller than both her sisters. She has sharp features and a curvier build when compared to those of her sisters. Her hair is more silver than blonde and her eyes are deep amethyst in color. Her skin tone varies most when compared to her sisters. While her sisters’ skin tones are both pale, Laira’s own skin is olive in color with warmer undertones.
Laira is notoriously ambitious and strives for excellence in all that she does. From the time she was old enough, she trained with Rhaegar in the art of the sword. At the time of the Doom, Laira was as deadly in combat as Rhaegar. According to a number of individuals, Laira’s own skills surpassed those of her brother in a number of ways.
She is ambidextrous and proficient in fighting with double swords, wielding two Valyrian steel longswords in times of close combat. The swords that she wields are sister swords: Dark Star and Dark Sister.
Laira is revered among not just her sisters, but the soldiers of their armies as a skilled warrior. Her stern, yet compassionate nature makes her a favored leader among not just the soldiers, but among the small folk as well.
In addition to proficiency in battle, she is a brilliant strategist with a mind for battle, for defense, and for negotiation when necessary. She is instrumental in planning the defense against the Reach and the Westerland forces that march upon the sisters’ own forces after they take the Stormlands. In addition, she is also a key planner in the strategy that wins them the Stormlands, the Vale, and the North. She recommends and negotiates terms of surrender and spoils that should be given to those who bend the knee without conflict once she and her sisters move to secure the other kingdoms following the offensive attack by the Reach and Westerland forces.
Laira is skilled in the art of sorcery and is capable of aiding in the forging of Valyrian steel in addition to other matters in which magic and spells are key. The ringmail that she wears is black Valyrian steel, forged and formed to fit her.
She has shown the ability to withstand high temperatures and the touch of flame without her skin burning or blistering. Those that know her best believe the immunity to be the doing of the sorcery that she is so skilled in. No one knows that the immunity stems from a place that even Laira is unaware of.
She rides the she-dragon, Vhagar, a golden and onyx scaled dragon. Although the youngest of the three sisters’ dragons, Vhagar has forged a close bond with Laira. She is fiercely protective of her rider and has shown to be in-tuned to her rider’s emotions and desires. At the time of the Conquest, Laira does not rely on the aid of spells to control Vhagar as many of the dragonlords of Valyria had done with their own dragon mounts.
The sisters begin their conquest when Laira is seventeen. Hea is sixteen. The Conquest ends when the sisters are eighteen and seventeen respectively.
At the Field of Fire, Laira takes a crossbow bolt to the shoulder during the height of the battle. When all three of the sisters’ dragons are released upon the field and the Reach’s forces are beaten back, Laira returns to Dragonstone for medical aid and sends Daenerys to Highgarden to secure the Reach for them.
Her wounds treated, Laira’s eyes turn North while Hea’s turn West. Laira flies North to the Eyrie in the Vale and then to the Trident. Word has been dispatched to her that the current King in the North has marched from Winterfell for the Trident with an army of thirty thousand men. When Harold Stark arrives upon the banks of the Trident, he finds not only a dragons awaiting for him, but a host of Unsullied, Jaydian, and sworn soldiers.
Upon seeing the host awaiting him, Hal departs across the Trident to treat with the dragon queen who had come to lie in wait for him. Peace is brokered between Hal and Laira through negotiation. Laira agrees to accompany Hal to Winterfell along with portions of her own forces to treat with him further and talk of possible alliance. Hal bends the knee following Laira’s visit to Winterfell, angering a number of the men amongst his banners. He casts aside the title of Kind in the North and takes up the mantles of Warden of the North and Lord of Winterfell.
