the main reason a lot of people think its a long time is cause catty says its been over thousands of years. when a boss monster has child they start to die (gerson says this), so having a child during the war would be bad (asgore would die and there would be no general). it is also believed that the human falling in the picture book is chara, not frisk (so chara fell in 201x, not frisk. people are guessing from the strips on the shirt). personally, its really hard to get a timeline out of undertale so i kinda just stick with an idea of one rather than something set in stone. toby has said he added things in the game after in development too. i dont think the yellow timeline matches the undertale one at all, but undertale has a lot of confusing stuff about it to really get a solid timeline...

Yeah. Like Flowey messes up the timeline a lot. Since he was created from the first golden flower that came from the surface that grew in Asgore’s garden before Toriel left. Which kinda implies that Toriel leaving is a recent thing when Alphys is doing the DT experiments because… It’s just a normal flower. It won’t last decades. So that means that the DT experiments are very close to when Toriel left. But then Snowdrake’s mother comes in and just complicates things more. Since she has to give birth to Snowdrake before falling down. And she has to fall down when Snowdrake is in an age to be able to run away to Snowdin. And Snowdrake is in the same class with Monster Kid in Deltarune meaning that they are around the same age. And Monster Kid looks like he’s around the same age as Frisk. And Frisk looks like a 9-10 year old… It’s really just a mess.

what's this blog for?

there are several characters in undertale and deltarune who are either implied or outright stated to be trans. there are also many undertale and deltarune fans who are trans. these are both awesome things.

unfortunately, although it has lessened over the years, there is still a lot of transphobia in the undertale and deltarune communities, so i made this blog to be a positive and uplifting place for trans undertale and deltarune fans. here i will be posting screenshots and art of the trans characters from the aforementioned games, as possibly posting things i write about those characters.

i dunno it kinda bothers me sometimes to see characters who are referred to with they/them pronouns in games described as "ambiguously gendered" or "gender left unclear" or "gender unstated" by fans and stuff like. yeah absolutely they are sometimes that. sometimes the creator had a gender in mind for them while creating them and just didn't think to talk about it in the game. but also, like. sometimes characters can just be nonbinary? and it makes me kinda sad that everyone's first reaction to they/them pronouns in games is "oh, they have a binary gender, it's just up to the player/not stated in-game".

#this is just something i was thinking about #after reading the ut localization book and seeing monster kid and onionsan described this way specifically #like. onionsan isn't really a big deal to me. they're just never talked about in the game. #i'm not treating them as Important Canon Nonbinary Rep because even though i use they/them for them #they're not canonically Anything. #monster kid is sort of the same deal? undyne uses they/them for them #and while it could be argued that she doesn't know them you could also argue they sneak out to follow her a lot #she could've met them before. #eh. it's a non-issue in this case really. at least they didn't describe napstablook that way #but honestly why are they so scared of saying 'nonbinary'. it's clear that that's what napstablook is #with the 'theirself' and all that #which. singular themself/theirself is not a word you see often in media at all! #it certainly wasn't when undertale came out! that was a pretty uncommon word in games! #so props to toby for featuring the first singular themself i ever saw in media and making me go 'woah' #but anyway. if you're curious. the lol book simply says #'the game refers to napstablook as 'them' not 'him' or 'her'' #which. yeah! they're a them! but why do you act like this is some sort of narration quirk #and not just. a character being nonbinary. #i think that became pretty clear when the first few rounds of the undertale art book #came out and used he/him for them #but then someone asked toby about the pronoun difference #and he called them all back and changed their pronouns to they/them in the book once again. #honestly i. only vaguely remember hearing that so if someone has sources i'd love to see them #but like. why can't characters be nonbinary. why can't people just say nonbinary. it's not a scary word.

I know that it's a bit of sad but heartwarming.

I relate a lot to Goner Kid when I'm on these days, sometimes I ask myself these questions. Some questions are a bit of hopeless. It happens to me so often. On these days, I remember this scene, I feel a bit of better, despite everything.

When you're questioning your existence, please remember that you're still important in this world, despite everything, and I hope that you're well! And you exist!

Would you say any of the four dreemurr siblings tend to bicker and roughhouse with each other? Kris and Chara perhaps?

Oh, they bicker and scuffle CONSTANTLY. In terms of roughhousing, Chara is excluded from that: Theyre still very physically weak from all the side effects of the poisioning that carried over to their new monster body, so its just bickering for them!
