Oh man. You could be on to something. At this point, I think everything, and nothing, is part of the lore. Like, Swiss losing his mind more and more every show (he rolled off his platform recently, like...what?) could just be him having fun. Or it could be something else. Swiss could absolutely be going insane, losing it, sanity fraying at the edges. And you're totally right, screaming on stage is probably not encouraged. But Tender Father absolutely might have been like "yeah go ahead, just don't scream near your mic" or it could be meant to illustrate that Swiss has lost his mind and really is just a demon from hell who is going to break out of his cage and rip Papa to shreds. I think a lot of their little antics could be lore based and we might not even know it (or they could just be fun stage shit, who knows). But Dew's solo during FTPTTP, and the part during Year Zero where Aether (and now Aeon) jumps in front of Papa. The way Dew cuts him off mid-story to start Ritual. They all show a lack of respect for their leader. Swiss' feral behavior and screaming feed into that too. Like, they don't give a shit what Papa wants anymore, maybe they never did. And there's the side of the lore where they all just do it for fun and Papa is laughing along with them. And then there's the one where they genuinely have given up on this man to lead the church. He isn't good enough, they don't take him seriously. And he knows it and he's isolated from them either by force or by choice. They want someone better. Someone stronger. Regardless, I'm pretty sure we're going to find out exactly what's going on with all of them in a couple of months. And I think it's equally possible that it's all part of the lore, and that it isn't. But either way, Swiss is losing his fucking mind and I'm here for it.

Hi I'm the op in pinks post! And I agree with you. If we are strictly talking about musical talent Aeon/RM is definitely better skill wise. But I was more so talking only about stage presence! I love Aeon I think he's a neat guy but he (to me) tries too hard to be like Rain or Dew but Aether just had something special ™️ haha! Definitely no hate intended to anyone, including the musicians ofc. Maybe I'm still just salty about how CC was dismissed.

second of all i despise the word talent, especially in this case. there's no such think, randy is just very skilled and he worked for it himself. it wasn't just given to him, and the word talent imples exactly that

now, aether had his own stage presence, aeon has his own. its different, of course it is, and its a personal preference on who likes who's better. obviously everyone has favorites. but also look on how long aether had been in the band and how long aeon. he's already grown and i believe he will grow even more. also if youd look into RM youd see theres a lot of him in aeon, so i must say i completely don't agree with your statement that he tries too hard to be like dew or rain. just saying

i personally am not a fan of CC so I can't really see where youre coming from here, but I understand. you have the right to not be a fan of aeon/randy just as I am not a fan of aether/chris and that's totally okay!!!!! as long as were being respectful both to the characters and the actual musicians, you know. which you are here, so its all good afhgasfsa the rest is just opinions lmao

I'm so glad that the tumblr side of the fandom seems to be catching up on the Randy-specific brainrot I seem to have slowly fallen into lol. I assume most people got here from That One Spiritworld Clip or from That One Halloween Costume 🤣 Here's what I've found so far in case others haven't:

Bandcamp has 2 songs, neither of which are on spotify. One is kind of a joke from spring 2020 telling motherfuckers to wash their hands (read the description and credits it's hilarious), the other is a cover of Cherry by Harry Styles (idk the original but I love his cover)

He doesn't seem to have any other solo music (unless you count covers on instagram) but he does have a public playlist of his discography. ...He used to have a lot more public playlists like his girlfriend's discography as well but I guess they aren't there anymore?? That's new

The other example i've found of his singing is when Dan Andriano and the Bygones does live shows, sometimes they cover Burnin For You by Blue Oyster Cult and he takes lead vocals on that (and seems to need the lyrics printed out in front of him lol)

The Moore Family Band's about section on spotify. Also their instagram is where at least one of those Marilyn Monroe costume photos came from. (I could've sworn I saw the color one somewhere before it started going around but I can't find it.) Also his little sister is bi and these photos are adorable :D They also have a little interview with some songs interspersed.

Get Married's song Jeezy Beach is hilarious because it calls out Randy specifically. He doesn't want to go to the beach he wants to watch tv (and honestly? Mood. Sand sucks- Anakin was right- and NorCal beaches are always cold.) (it's also funny for anyone who's done the drive down to Santa Cruz. it's a terrible drive fuck that lol.)

Hi, I just finished more nighttime painting, the piece is done after... mn... 5-6hrs? I still have paint on my fingers despite washing my hands, so that's fun.

So I've been thinking about Dewther.

In particular the idea of them slowly falling in love, but Aether being the one wanting a romantic relationship in a very Jenny by Studio Killers kind of way while Dew's over there like, "He's kinda cute, I guess."

The rest of the band is watching them, like, sleep around with anyone and everyone else except for each other, and it's getting really obvious the reason is because they have something going on and don't even realize it yet.

Of course, Dew's also out here pining over Rain, and Aether has his own thing going on with Copia, and they keep making excuses in their heads as to why they can't hook up.

They never outright tell the other "no" but they don't say "yes" either, they don't even bring it up around the other person.

They are that committed to not "ruining" whatever they have going on by jumping the gun.

But, fuck, if they don't both want to.

Dew's waking up in someone else's bed, imagining the arms around his waist were Aether's instead, which is such a surprisingly tender thought he gets embarrassed just thinking about it, but meanwhile Aether is out here giving himself a little "self love" trying to imagine Dew's mouth on his-

Point is, they're both really worked up about it, and worried that if they do sleep together, that it's not going to meet their expectations etc.

And then there's a hunt.

It's a new moon and it's so dark with only starlight overhead, and, well, it makes it easier, in a way, to find each other.

So the first time they ever sleep together, it's shrouded in the darkness, but, Aether can see the stars sparkling in Dew's eyes, because they're so wet and full of tears from the way he says his name.

It's all very sweet, but then Swiss shows up and shines a flashlight directly in Aether's eyes because apparently they've been gone waaay longer than everyone else and they thought the two murdered each other or something.

Anywho, the first thing I saw when I got back on my laptop after painting was the soque.

You have to imagine, I just finished a memorial piece, very emotional, and nearly did a spit take seeing it.

Instant mood booster, just like masterb- -checks time-

I have work tomorrow, I should get going.

I hope your late-night painting was at least a little therapeutic <3. Dewther wrecks me in the best ways. I'm all for nasty filthy sex. But there's something about Dew and Aether being soft together. Being in love with each other. Being afraid to admit HOW in love with each other they are. That they pine for each other from a distance for ages, wishing they could do something. Knowing that they could but...satanas what if they've built it up too much in their heads? What if the connection isn't actually there? What if they fuck it up? They're down so so bad for each other, desperate about it. So you're right, it's only natural that it would break during a hunt. The walls being torn down as they press against each other on mossy grass. Mostly just moving on feeling and not on sight. It's easier when they can't see each other well. Swiss' interruption makes them awkward of course. Makes it harder to talk about later. But they do, "talk". Which is to say there isn't very much talking and a lot of touching and gasping and broken whispers of each other's names. The only problem is that now that they've finally broken the seal so to speak--they're soft and sweet to each other in public and Swiss thinks it's disgusting.
