TAREA 1 (semana 1): Suicido relacionado con el acceso a internet

Pregunta de investigación:

¿El acceso a internet esta asociado al número de suicidios en distintos países?

Secciones y variables:

Las variables de la investigación se tomaron de los conjuntos de datos de Gapminder. 

La primera variable que planeo utilizar es la de Usuarios de Internet (Internetuserate); 2010 Usuarios de Internet (por cada 100 personas). Los usuarios de internet son personas con acceso a la red mundial.

La segunda varibale es la de suicidio por cada 100 personas (suicideper100TH); 2005 suicidio, ajustado por edad por 100000, mortalidad por lesiones autoingringidas por 100000 habitantes estándar ajustado por edad.

Revisión de literatura:

De acuerdo a esta revision, se encontre que al contrario de lo que se previa, el acceso a internet es como un medio para pedir ayuda por partes de los jovenes, lo que contribuye a orientarlos en estos temas brindarndoles información y socializar; dando por hecho que el internet llega a prevenir este comportamiento [1].

Por otra parte, hay articulos que dejan ver que el acceso a internet puede ser perjudicial para los jovenes vulnerables, puesto que aseguran que la difusión de los métodos de suicidio mediante Internet plantea la cuestión de la posible repercusión en el incremento o variación de las cifras de suicidio a través de la difusión y popularización de nuevos métodos de suicidio por efecto de imitación o copycat, favoreciendo pactos suicidas (net-suicides) a través de las redes. En la actualidad, en Afganistán muchas mujeres se prenden fuego porque creen que el suicidio es la única manera de escapar de un matrimonio opresivo, del abuso de los familiares, de la pobreza, o del estrés de las guerras. [4]

Es asi que, las tasas de suicidio más elevadas se dan en los países de Europa del Este como Lituania o Rusia, mientras las más bajas se sitúan en América Central y del Sur en países como Perú, México, Brasil o Colombia. No existen estadísticas sobre el tema en muchos países africanos y del sudeste asiático. [4]

Finalmente en los articulos estan de acuerdo en el hecho de que e existen varios enigmas considerables en la vida humana y el suicidio es uno de ellos, nadie conoce realmente por qué un ser humano se priva de la vida, y la afirmación de que no hay motivo alguno que sea válido para asumir esa conducta, no resiste ninguna objeción. Desentrañar los misterios que emanan de la conducta suicida es parte de la ciencia de hoy.

Hipótesis:

De acuerdo a lo visto en la observación literaria considero que el acceso de internet si puede influir en un aumento de los suicidios por la cantidad de información adversa que se puede encontrar, teniendo a influir más en las personas vulnerables al estar expuestos no solo a la información sino a una increible cantidad de contenido que para una persona en dichas circunstancias puede ser de facil influencia como los retos virales, por lo tanto mi hipotesis plantea que el acceso a internet esta relacionado de manera positiva con los suicidios.

Aunque tambien me gustaria agregar el filtro de las variables con identificador unico (paises) que son famosos por su contexto cultural para probar la hipotesis propuesta en el articulo citado [4] donde afirman que por la situación de opreción que viven en ese país, los suicidios aumentan.

De igual forma siempre aclaramos: nuestra línea no es exactamente igual a la del canon. Como en el juego ocurren muchos eventos a un ritmo que puede no ser amigable con un foro de rol, elegimos adrede crear nuestra propia forma de contabilizar el tiempo, las seasons (temporadas)

Nuestra pre season (pre temporada) se sitúa en un punto imaginario entre 994 y 996 DN (después de Noxus). El motivo de hacerlo de esta forma, es para abarcar mejores puntos de partida para la mayor cantidad de personajes canon posibles, sin condicionarles demasiado.

Well, you’ll enjoy yourself more if people are respectful of you so be respectful of others. Other than that, just... don’t be afraid to put yourself out there from time to time. Whether it’s posting a headcanon you really love but don’t know what others will think, or reaching out to someone you really want to RP with. 

Remember that this is tumblr; we’re all here just to have fun. I’m pretty sure most of us are at least a little petrified of reaching out to other RPers we admire-including the ones we admire. There’s usually a good chance that, if you’re mutuals they want to RP with you just as bad-trust me. I have a friend who admired my Allen Walker blog for a good while, but he never messaged because he was nervous and didn’t know it was me. Meanwhile I’d been the same for his Tyki. We missed out on a lot of fun because of that, believe me. 

And lastly; don’t let others pressure you. Remember that this is for fun, your comfort is important. It’s not a job and you don’t have to do anything that might make you uncomfortable. If others don’t respect that, then that’s their problem.

Oh, absolutely! 100%

☮ Are you feeling happy and inspired right now?☄

Yeah, I am but unfortunately I have Raid in WoW in less than an hour so not much time to write.

Hmm...well when it comes to writing, I’m not really sure. But in general there are a few people I find really inspiring for various reasons. @rk800isalive / @tu-unico being one person I admire a great deal and find extremely inspiring as a person.

None that immediately come to mind, tbh.

I usually follow reblog karma and send someone something if I reblog a meme from them or they reblog it from me after sending something, but if the meme just doesn’t work for our muses then I’ll reblog from the source wherever possible. 

☯ Do you believe you’re a forgiving person?

Unfortunately, I am what can be referred to as a ‘self-sacrificing-idiot’ so if it’s something that was done to me then... yeah. I’ll probably forgive almost anything if I was the one hurt and even blame myself for it. However if it’s a friend that’s been hurt... then I know how to hold a grudge pretty damn well.

I left that whole blog and all those blogs behind, not because I have sour feelings for the muses or the fandom but... there was a person who did a lot of damage to me on all those blogs. They had claimed them self to be a friend when in reality they were really toxic and using me. So that whole blog and all those blogs have some bad feelings to them.

I might remake them one day. I did remake one of them because of a very close friend of mine who I call mom. The original blog was called @the-last-uno​ now I have it as a side blog again here called @tu-unico​
