1st Blog: Start-up

A technopreneur is an entrepreneur who is technology savvy, creative, innovative, dynamic,dares to be different and take the unexploredpath, and very passionate about their work. They take challenges and strive to lead their life with greater success. They don’t fear to fail. They take failure as a learning experience, a stimulator to look things differently and stride for next challenge. Technopreneurs continuously go through an organic process of continual improvement and always try to redefine the dynamic digital economy. Entrepreneur is a people who enter into new and pioneering ventures was involves having the guts to do what you believe is right, thinking out of the box and making business out of it.

Our first day of meeting our lecturer is so much fun because from the word technopreneurship itself was very exciting and interesting. Our lecturer discussed and oriented us all about the subject itself and about the start-up ideas that could possibly help our society, making possible ideas and a lot of things. She also remind us about our performance innovative task that we will do a start-up ideas that will relate to our course which is civil engineering and I am much awaited for the next meeting for another topic and ideas to learnt to.

We had also learned how an Enterpreneur makes a Technopreneur. First is A technology idea owner who ventures to make his idea a commercial reality, An Entrepreneur who gets a technology idea, find an opportunity to make commercial reality.

Aftermath, we formed a group of three for our project in which we will create a product that will attract the customers. So, we do brainstorming a lot of ideas and we could’nt decide for the final product because we were thinking such us common problem in our daily lives that has a powerful solution that can attract many people to purchase such product that is very helpful, meaningful and affordable.

They say nature inspires art, but this is a case of art inspiring a photograph of nature. My new friend Farley is a painter and her work is delightfully abstract. So when I was out walking yesterday I saw these leaves on the ground and instantly thought of her. The truth is that winter has come much earlier than expected to northern Canada. Farmers still have crops on the field which they can’t remove because of the wet snow. Hibernating animals are still forging for food instead of looking for a place to sleep. And trees have dropped their leaves without changing colour. It creates a visual spectacle on the forest floor that is sad and enchanting at the same time.
