IS IT JUST ME OR DID POKEMON COMPLETELY FORGET THEY MADE NONHUMAN SAPIENT SPECIES CANON? THE ULTRA RECON SQUAD ARE DEFINITELY NOT HUMAN. So, The Ultra Beasts have some....interesting homes.....I would like to try and learn from them. *Grabs my wand, some notebooks and flies to the Ultra Beast locations.*

Just need to find an Ultra Wormhole so I can learn from them. Maybe I could stay by for few hours before I fly to another Ultra Beast home to learn from it.

Open Your Eyes - JAN04/2023

So I got an art tablet and I was testing it out, and I wanted to finish this drawing of Luna, my Alolan Pokemon trainer OC, because it looked kinda cool, and I ended up going a bit ham with the lighting, but I feel like that was inevitable from the moment I decided it would be a faceoff with Ultra Necrozma. I had a lot of fun playing with the reflections like in the Poke Ball and especially the shades, where each lens is a reference to the USUM boxart, and the light's rainbow aura on the ground, which is green in the middle where Luna is and fades to the Sun/Moon colors on the edges.

Also, I've never drawn Luna's eyes before; they're always closed even when you can see behind the shades. Coming up with their design was fun, buuuut I had too much fun making lighting effects and now I need a lore reason for her eyes to be all glowy like that. Looks cool though.

Anyways, hopefully I can use this tablet to get things done a bit easier. Also I updated my art tag to ygsv, I'll go back and retag my stuff later.

some deco stuff i converted from the ultra desert map in USUM! since i'm using TOOL to recreate some key ultra space locations for my save, i figured the iconic rocks would convert nicely.

new mesh, from pokemon ultra sun/moon

How would Elesa and Emmet fare in the Ultra Megalopolis? Even though Elio/Selene seemed fine in USUM I imagine it would realistically be as much of a shock as the other way around, considering the people of that world have literally genetically adapted over generations just to survive

I think the first thing that hits them is just how dark it is.

Like. They knew it was going to be dark. Ingo's told them all about the place, how there's no actual sunlight and all the light is provided by one massive, central tower in the middle of the city. They've seen Ingo's aversion to sunlight firsthand, so they shouldn't be surprised that it's dark.

It's just. darker than they were expecting.

The next thing that hits them is that its COLD. Ingo never mentioned that one, probably because he didn't fully realize just how cold it was. And in hindsight, that makes sense too- Ingo hates the heat now, and it should be obvious that a world without a sun is not exactly going to be getting any real heat. They have to bundle up, but thankfully the insides of the buildings are a little better.

And it really is strange, after seeing Nobori stick out like a sore thumb back home because of his blue skin and weird eyes to suddenly be the ones sticking out for their peachy skin and black-pupiled eyes. People keep giving them odd looks. There's no Pokemon here, just the odd Poipole and Naganadel here and there. Suddenly they're the interdimensional travelers, and Nobori is just home.

And honestly... yeah, they kind of miss the sun. It's fine for a few hours, but after awhile its absence just becomes so noticeable. I can't imagine either of them can stay in Ultra Megalopolis for long, but they do try since Ingo's toughing it out back in Nimbasa! I think it really does give them a whole new understanding of just how much he was toughing it out there, especially before Solgaleo gave him his blessing to help him deal a little better with sunlight.

That whole thing is snow?!?! There is so much of it. Snow is tiny, yes? How much of it is there? Why? This- this has to be documented. Apparently there is snow on Mt. Lanakila. I will… I will find a day to get a tour of the place. The Pokémon league is there and I have been meaning to go anyways. I will start researching at once. Absolutely crazy. This world is… dang that is a lot of snow.
