nationverse relationships drive me insane because they're like, i love you, but also sometimes i hate your guts, i've killed you as many times as you've killed me and i'd do it again, i want to kiss you SO bad, i wish i'd conquered more of your land back in the old days though, oh and don't bring up what either of us did in the 17th century during dates because things would get really awkward. and then sometimes they're on the bed kissing in the same position that one of them strangled the other to death last century, gentle touches on the other's side at the same place where you ran them through with your sword once, and you both remember and you look at each other and you know you're thinking of the same thing, but you just ask them if they're hungry enough for dinner yet and the moment passes and you just have to learn to live with that !!!! bonkers !!
