I am rather sick and tired of the newest Instagram trend, to share photos of night skies where they have added surrealistic light effects with Photoshop or something. The lights are always green and it is only night skies. I have seen pictures of UFOs and "HAARP" related stuff so many times and clearly it is fake, or the money-hungry mass media (more now than ever) would print all about it. Both UFOs and "HAARP" has been debunked, if this is an art trend, I think it is rather stupid, or if it is a new AI toy they downloaded, still stupid. As a protest against those influencers, and now I am completely transparent, I took a picture of a DAY TIME sky, added RED light effects instead, using GIMP (FOSS Software, no money was wasted during this process). Here is the result. And no, I have not heard alien voices in my head. Nor have I had visits of strange secret cops, nor have I seen "bugs in the matrix", There is broadcast content on the radio, NO little green men talking NOR static on the radio, and all electric devices work just fine! By the way, can you see the harp in the sky? Probably not but you can clearly hear it on your analog AM radio overseas from Vienna, EU

I was outside walking my sisters new puppy and its dark out. I look up and I see this line in the sky. At first I was like "a plane?" Then I thought "no maybe a meteor" but it looked like a dotted line. Then it started to move Closer and I'm like wtf is this. Wtf is thissss. Its just like. A row of dots. Moving in a slow straight line over me. I'm just watching it. Eventually it passes through a cloud and I can still see it but I have to move to see it once it passes the barn. By the time I get around the barn its just gone. I'm still sitting here like ???????😦??????

After the mysterious death of a B-list movie star Juliet Heartwood, people from her past start looking into her case.
After coming back from the death herself, still not having any idea what happened to her, she finds herself in a tangle involving UFO's, psychics and a mining corporation
NOTE: this is kinda rambly, ill answer any asks and stuff that come my way from this ✌
Setting; 1995 Nevada,
Juliet Heartwood, birthname Juliet Barker.
Juliet was a teenage runaway who left home after an altercation with her mom, where she threatened to send her to a private school if she didn't stop doing ''witchcraft'' with Jack. Juliet ended up stealing Jack's car to run away which broke their friendship.
Years later, Juliet was trying to make it as an actress. She found a partner she was happy with, but he died before their son was born. Grief-stricken and broke, barely being able to look after herself and the newborn, she gave custody of her son Lazlo to her ex-SIL.
Juliet ended up reconnecting with her high school friend Aston Morris, and the two began dating seriously.
While Juliet's future seemed to become brighter, with a new partner and getting a role in a rather notable movie, it was cut short due to her getting killed in a strange UFO event.
Jack Gore (he/him trans woman)
Jack is a psychic who was high school friends with Juliet, planning to help her run away from home together, but their plan was scrapped when Juliet outright stole his car.
After cutting ties with Juliet and finding out that his brother Vinny was moving away because he was divorcing, he decided to join him as a supernatural aid, even thought Vinny was a more sceptic type.
Vinny had ended his marriage to the mortician Heather Jason, after in a paranoid state, she had spent the couple's savings on a nuclear bunker after having a vision which Vinny dismissed.
While on his own, Jack met Jo Tamashiro and had a fling with her. While not an official item, he was her partner and a mother to her child, Cabby.
In June 1995, Jack got some of the worst news of his life. Not only was he going to die from liver failure, but that Juliet had died. Despite holding grudges, he wanted to talk to her a one more time.
Before he could even process everything, the Gore PI agency was contacted by Heather, informing them that she had acquired Juliet's body to experiment on a new form of contacting spirits.
While both were hesitant, they agreed to help her with the experiment.
The initial goal of the experiment was just to contact Juliet's spirit by hooking up a modified spirit box to her corpse, but in an unexpected turn, Juliet's spirit attached itself to the body, not quite resurrecting it, but haunting it like a doll.
While Juliet was now back, she had no memory of what happened to her. Just lights.
Before Jack could make it to the house, an alien creature named the Collection attached themselves to Jack. The Collection, a shapeshifting parasitic entity was sent by the mining company MantiCORP heiress, Midge ''Mittens'' Mantis, for unknown purposes why she was so interested in the case.
Despite seeing each other again, the relationship between Juliet and Jack is cold but volatile, both holding resentment and grudges, but being forced to be around each other to solve the case. It doesn't help that there seems to also be other parties after them for unknown reasons.
Aston Morris, despite being cleared of being a suspect in his girlfriend's death, wasn't so cleared with his boss, Mittens.
Years before, Aston had wanted to become an astronaut, but because of some head trauma he gained as a teen, he was kicked from the program. His anger lead him to jail, but he was bailed out by the heiress. She gave him an offer he couldn't refuse; work for me and you can see space.
The job ended up being a corporate spy and a hitman for MantiCORP. He hated every second of actually doing the killing, but he felt like he was in too deep. Back on earth, Aston found success in a sitcom that lead him to be a successful mainstream actor, eventually leading him to stumble into Juliet again.
Mittens is the heiress to the MantiCORP mining company, which she had to fight for due to her family trying to swindle her out of her fortune. She first started with the recruitment of the Collection (experimenting on the assassin behind her father's death) and Becky, who would later become her wife.
Coll was always Mittens' right hand man, but after massive screw up at the job, she demoted them and made Becky their overseer.
After Becky disappeared after a recovery mission, Mittens kept Coll's current position due to the lack of evidence that they had anything to do with it.
While this whole thing is mostly ramble-y, I do plan on elaborating some of this. I am working on the comic version of this, but this is all the lore that hasn't been elaborated on. TY for reading!

Analysis 1

c!Quackity first hiring c!Purpled
Over a year and a half ago, shortly after Quackity’s third Las Nevadas stream, a theory was created — that c!Purpled would ultimately betray c!Quackity. This was proven to be correct! So for this analysis, I’ve decided to go back and look at the first proper interaction between c!Quackity and c!Purpled — when c!Quackity went to hire him for the Red Banquet.
This section of the stream begins one week before the Red Banquet, with c!Quackity and c!Sam talking about c!Purpled. As they talk, c!Quackity reveals his plan, to give c!Purpled a one-time job and use it to ‘reel him in’ and make him join Las Nevadas. We then cut to c!Quackity making his way towards the UFO as c!Sam watches from the museum. Something relevant to note here is that c!Quackity admits that his plan isn’t just to place TNT – “I might blow it up even, I don’t know”.
C!Purpled shows up as c!Quackity is filling the UFO with TNT, logging in right behind him. C!Quackity panics at this – c!Purpled asks why he shouldn’t just kill him, before attacking. The fight is quick with c!Quackity throwing down a potion of regeneration then getting c!Purpled to back off by threatening to set off the TNT, telling him to move to the other side of the room.
The conversation now begins, where c!Quackity momentarily attempts to begin smalltalk, before claiming that he won’t actually set off the TNT unless he’s ‘forced to’, telling c!Purpled to ‘calm down and relax’. He then interrupts himself to tell c!Purpled to take his armour off, even dropping his flint and steel, and taking his own armour off to achieve it. This is pretty interesting to me as it shows that while c!Quackity is very much trying to convince c!Purpled of his plan in this conversation, he is also terrified of getting into a fight.
They then move on, with c!Quackity telling c!Purpled about the Egg and blaming it for conflict on the server. He then refers to c!Purpled as both ‘one of the greatest warriors’ and ‘the best on in this server’, a statement which is clearly a lie as c!Technoblade is also on the server. He asks c!Purpled to help him take the Egg down – but he refuses, stating that he’s already in the middle of a job. C!Quackity becomes angry at this, telling him that the Egg is more important than his current jobs, and that there are other people he will be getting for the job, then saying he will pay highly for the job.
C!Purpled has no reason to believe that c!Quackity even has the money to pay him though, and expresses that. C!Quackity claims he has a big plan going and acts insulted when asked where his money is coming from. C!Purpled continues to doubt him, until c!Quackity reveals the existence of Las Nevadas, claiming it will be an ‘economically prosperous nation’, and telling c!Purpled not to tell anyone else about it. C!Purpled, however, is still sceptical. C!Quackity tries flattery again, calling c!Purpled the ‘best fighter in the entire server’ and saying he doesn’t know who else to get, contradicting his earlier statement that c!Purpled won’t be the only person he’ll get.
In the end, c!Quackity decides to show c!Purpled Las Nevadas, claiming he’ll be the first to see it (another lie: not only is c!Sam building it, he had previously shown it to c!BBH), and this seems to be what works, as c!Purpled agrees to follow him as the scene ends, and as c!Purpled was with c!Quackity at the Red Banquet, we can only assume he eventually agreed.
Overall, there are a few things we can draw from this scene: C!Quackity’s dislike of being around stronger fighters who he can’t control and his willingness to lie to convince people to join him, and c!Purpled’s stubborn streak – the very thing that would later lead to him turning on c!Quackity in revenge after pretending to work for him for so long.

It doesn’t matter the topic, there always seems to be a group of lawmakers who will stop at nothing to thwart government transparency – even when it’s a subject that could not be more bipartisan or in an obvious need for sunlight.
This time, a small cadre of powerful Republicans have reportedly killed a provision in this year’s defense authorization that would finally bring some transparency to the US government’s knowledge around UFOs (now also known by the updated parlance of “unidentified aerial phenomena”, or UAPs).
Over the summer, the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, introduced a UFO transparency bill on the heels of testimony given to Congress by the retired air force officer David Grusch, who made several shocking claims about the US being in possession of alien spacecraft for decades. As Schumer described his bill “the measure would create a board just like with the JFK assassination records to work through the declassification of the many government records on UAPs … This model has been a terrific success for decades and should be used with UAPs”.
Some took Grusch’s testimony very seriously, others viewed him as a crackpot, still others in between. Since it would take a lot more words than this column to litigate his myriad extraordinary claims, let’s forget about him for a moment and focus on what we do know for a fact about the general subject of unidentified flying objects.
For decades, both military and commercial pilots have logged countless sightings of UFOs while flying that defy conventional or scientific explanation. The US government has studied the UFO phenomenon on and off since the 1950s and has kept at least some of what it knows secret. Recently the US government itself has released several videos of these incidents, which has further fueled public interest and speculation about whether the incidents were extraterrestrial.
Then, it was only nine months ago, shortly after a Chinese spy balloon floated over American airspace, that UFOs became front page news across the country. After the balloon was taken down, and with the air force on high alert and its radar systems tweaked to extra sensitivity, a series of UFOs were tracked and some even shot with US military Sidewinder missiles over both the United States and Canada.
For a few days there was wall-to-wall coverage of these incidents, and the White House was holding press conferences to specifically address it. Members of the military were telling reporters that the objects were not balloons like the one China had lost control of, some reported at least one of the objects “interfered with [pilot’s] sensors” and had no visible propulsion 40,000ft in the air. The military spent millions of dollars to shoot them down, and closed a huge swath of airspace when they thought they spotted more. No one had a definitive explanation of what they were.
And then poof! Everyone seemed to forget about it. The government never released video or photos of the objects it tracked (even though they obviously must have had some footage). They initially claimed they couldn’t recover any wreckage. When reporters and other concerned citizens attempted to Foia the evidence they were stonewalled completely, with the Pentagon claiming it was all classified. By then, the press had moved on and the Biden administration or the Pentagon hasn’t faced an ounce of scrutiny on the issue from mainstream publications since.
It’s clearly in the public interest to get to the bottom of incidents like these, whether you believe these objects are of extraterrestrial origin or not. As Schumer himself said, “Unidentified aerial phenomena has generated intense curiosity from many Americans, and the risk for confusion and misinformation is high if the government is not willing to be transparent.” It also couldn’t be further from a partisan issue, as the bill had several Republicans in support of it. So why did this small group of Republicans – including the House speaker, head of the House intelligence committee and the Senate minority leader – kill this thing?
One explanation is that these specific congressmen are in on a decades-long cover-up, yet somehow the long-serving Senate majority leader isn’t. I have a different theory: these congressmen also don’t necessarily know what is going on, but they are so addicted to government secrecy that they will reflexively fight for it, even when they have no rational reason. They fear creating a framework for more transparency, knowing if it’s a success it could possibly spur more legislative action in a similar vein.
The JFK Records Act, which Schumer referenced as his inspiration, is an aberration in our modern history; it passed more than 30 years ago and there’s been nothing like it since. On most subjects, it’s impossible to get the government to quickly declassify documents – even when it’s of vital public interest. If this new provision would become law, we would then have an updated model for other areas of the government that Congress could target for declassification if they so choose.
Say, for example, a commission on price gouging in the Pentagon that could expose tens of billions in fraud, or commissions who could more quickly declassify the various spying powers that are constantly abused by the NSA and FBI. The House intelligence committee, which seemingly exists to protect our intelligence agencies from scrutiny, is going to do everything in its power to stop that.
The truth may be out there. But believers and skeptics alike should be able to unite on one thing: force the government to reveal what it knows and what it doesn’t know. We will all be better off.

"UFOs Are Real, That's Not A Matter Of Opinion" - Jeremy Corbell Speaks To TalkTV's Howard Hughes
Aug. 9 2023
The recent Congressional Oversight Committee hearings on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), commonly known as UFOs, have sparked a renewed interest in the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. While sceptics may still be searching for concrete evidence, it is undeniable that these hearings mark a significant milestone in our exploration of the unknown.
In a recent article in The Hill, Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet outlined three key points for moving forward: demanding UAP information disclosure, international scientific collaboration, and expanding the scientific study of UAPs. As society grapples with the implications of these historic hearings, it is crucial that we wake up to the potential safety, security, and scientific advantages that await us.
Investigative journalist and filmmaker, Jeremy Corbell, who was present at the hearings, described the event as surreal and historic. For the first time in history, direct eyewitnesses, including Commander David Fravor and Lieutenant Ryan Graves, shared their encounters with UFOs.
Their testimonies provided unique insights into these unexplained phenomena. Corbell revealed that these witnesses had faced intimidation and threats for coming forward, emphasizing the need to protect whistle-blowers like David Grush, who has exposed hidden truths about non-human intelligence and government involvement in reverse-engineering technology.

OK, so when it comes to UFOs or whatever you want to call them, I am the biggest sceptic.
Why?
Because I have never seen one or had an ET experience (not counting the fact that I DID once have the classic alien abduction dream!).
Yeah, I believe all that esoteric stuff because it's actually happened to me.
I've seen ghosts/spirits/whatever you want to call it, I've had paranormal experiences with spirits and encountered cryptids via the spirit of a Blemmyes which lived in the garden of my old house.
But I've never seen a UFO or encountered grey men or anything.
I once experienced a faux_UFO sighting, a public park miles away was holding an event with a laser show (this was back in '91 when it wasn't so common), I'd just finished a late shift at the library I worked in - walking home I saw all these flashing lights in the sky, zooming around in patterns.
The local radio stations were jammed with callers as it was also Halloween (no internet to check up with).
I was like, yes - that's it, there here (until the explanation came through).
Tumblr media
And the worlds of paranormal activity rarely cross over into the UFO sphere despite the obvious parallels.
With all the extraterrestrial revelations being in the news recently, I decided to put it to the test...
Do aliens exist, are UFOs a real thing?
I consulted my Spirit Guides and they pulled the following cards...
The Chariot - An exploratory craft: The Chariot is all about going to new places, exploration, the vehicle doesn't (usually) seem to be connected to the animal/being that pulls it - it's literally moving without any form of propulsion and always shown with the figure in the cockpit operating without any reigns (mind control).
6 of Wands (visually referencing) the X-Files: a pop culture reference, the open reading meaning (Yoav Ben-Dov) talks of collaboration. Are the "authorities" in cahoots with the little green men?
7 of Swords (again visually)a flying saucer shape, turn the card on its side you get the lozenge shape UFO with flashing red lights- the seven of Wands (can) mean combating many opponents, a struggle - do they not align with all the governments or is difficult to get to earth? The inner Sword hints at some form of unconventional travel in the way it links between the outer mesh of blades, yet passes through - do alien craft use inter-dimensional travel?
Finally, The Emperor - Ming The Merciless. The Emperor lives in a cold, steel-like environment. He lives for battle and conquest, his world is all about the struggle to win. Are the aliens aggressive or is it the humans who are battling them? Either way, he is not to be crossed.
So, that's fairly obvious then - aliens DO exist and are at war with "some" of the governments of the world but collaborating with others.
Until I see one for myself, I'm staying open-minded about it but the tarot oracles are wiser than me...

1: The UK isn't obsessed with aliens. Certainly not as bad as the US. Also you know fuck-all about the UK so stfu. 2: What about him? There's no evidence that he's doing ANY of what you're accusing him of. 3: Man who writes a TV series, writes another TV series. How groundbreaking 🙄 4: Man who acts in one film, acts in another. That's what actors do, dumbass. 5: Sure, have a silly tantrum now that your paranoia doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Thanks for the laughs, though.

“Pseudo-histories feed the self-importance and aggrievement of neo-Nazis and alt-right folk,” says Benjamin Radford, a fellow with the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry who has written widely on pseudo-history and claims of paranormal activity. “They feel their rightful place in the world has been denied them — by ‘Big Archeology', by Jews, by an oppressive government.”
There is another source of the far right’s far-out ideas about ancient history, one that requires no psychologizing.
THE NAZI CONNECTION
The basic tenets of alt-archeology and alt-history were foundational to the ideology and program of National Socialism, but the Nazis did not invent them. The Nazi belief in a pure Aryan race with a glorious ancient past and distinct genetic history was central to a transatlantic nineteenth-century occult scene (that featured a heavy German influence.) After Hitler assumed power, this belief was institutionalized in the form of the Ancestral Heritage and Teaching Society, or the Ahnenerbe, an alt-archeology research outfit founded by Heinrich Himmler and the Atlantis theorist Herman Wirth.
Under the banner of the Ahnerbe, Nazi explorers fanned out across Europe and the globe in search of relics holding (possibly supernatural) hints of ancient Aryan glory. In 1938, a team was dispatched to Iceland in search of the lost Aryan civilization of Thule, which Nazi leaders discovered in an Icelandic epic poem. Among the Nazis’ interests in Thule was the legend of a race of ancient Aryan giants. (Versions of this myth remain common among biblically focused alt-historians like Steve Quayle and L.A. Marzulli.)
Belief in these legends was possible because of the Nazis’ sharp rejection of the Enlightenment. Dismissing the science of racial diversification and the archeological record, they reveled in symbology, myths and legends of “pure” ancient kingdoms that conquered the world under its symbol, the swastika. (This, the Nazis believed, explained the symbol’s presence in both Native American and Indian art.)
"...But Clarke and Roberts, whose research is to be published this week in a book called Out of the Shadows , did uncover evidence that the American Secret Service, with the possible connivance of the British, looked at ways of using the public panic over UFOs as a psychological weapon against the Russians.
In CIA memos marked 'secret' and seen by The Observer, top officials consider exploiting the UFO craze. 'I suggest that we discuss the possible offensive or defensive utilisation of these phenomena for psychological warfare purposes,' wrote CIA director Walter Smith in 1952.
'Shortly after that meeting the CIA sent a delegation to Britain to discuss UFOs. It is hard to imagine that they did not discuss the psychological warfare aspects of it with their British counterparts,' Clarke said.
Clarke, who started out as a believer in UFOs but is now a sceptic, said that the belief in alien visitation had once reached up to the highest positions in government. Prime Minister Winston Churchill once ordered an investigation into it and Lord Mountbatten was a firm believer in flying saucers. In the 1950s Britain set up a flying saucer working party of top Ministers and army staff. 'That is why this field is important for academic research. It did have an impact on government policy at a crucial stage in history,' he said..."
"The Office of Special Affairs (OSA), formerly the Guardian's Office, is a department of the Church of Scientology International. According to the Church, the OSA is responsible for directing legal affairs, public relations, pursuing investigations, publicizing the Church's "social betterment works," and "oversee[ing its] social reform programs". Some observers outside the Church have characterized the department as an intelligence agency, comparing it variously to the CIA or the KGB. The department has targeted critics of the Church with dead agent operations and character assassination. OSA is the successor to the now-defunct Guardian's Office, which was responsible for Operation Snow White and Operation Freakout; both are in Department 20 in the Scientology organizational chart. The most recent head of OSA International was Mike Rinder, who has since departed from the organization and criticizes it severely, appearing as a co-host on Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.
Structure and personnel
History
The Guardian's Office was established in 1966, and its initial mission was to protect the interests of the Church of Scientology, and gather information on agencies and individuals deemed enemies of the organization. The Guardian's Office was also charged with internal monitoring of current Scientologists, in particular heretics and notable defectors. L. Ron Hubbard put his wife Mary Sue Hubbard in charge of the Guardian's Office, and it was initially headquartered at Saint Hill Manor, in England. The Guardian's Office functioned effectively as an Intelligence Bureau of the Church of Scientology, and planted members in key positions within federal government agencies, in order to obtain confidential material. Most branches of the Church of Scientology soon had at least one member from the Guardian's Office on its staff, and the Guardian's Office itself had its own secret Intelligence Bureau at the top of its organizational structure. The Guardian's Office was disbanded in 1983, and the bulk of its previous functions were then assigned to the Office of Special Affairs..."
Like a man once said, don't think you can climb in the ring with the Incas and think you can box. Besides your country being historically, aggressively superstitious, besides the fact that many of your upper class were Nazi sympathizers, besides your history, also, of bastardizing the history of other cultures to elevate yourself, you people apparently have had a very cozy relationship for decades with the alien-loving Scientologists, who've infiltrated your government. Thanks for the ask. I didn't know that part. Now take your brain out the back of your pants and sit the fuck down, Jr. Your stupidity offends me, yo.

The Night Hag
I'm going to go off-topic and talk about a topic that's pretty darn fascinating to me - sleep paralysis and the Night Hag.
For those of you who are unaware, sleep paralysis is a phenomenon that occurs after waking up that has (as defined by David Hufford in The Terror that Comes in the Night, a seminal text on it) four core characteristics:
You're paralysed (it's in the name).
You're awake.
You accurately perceive your real surroundings. (On the side, this is why I don't accept it as an explanation for alien abductions - seeing yourself in a UFO is not accurately perceiving your real surroundings).
You're afraid.
Common non-essential traits include:
A feeling - and often, the sensory perception, frequently with multiple senses - of a malign presence (this is the Night Hag).
A feeling of pressure on the chest.
A sense of the supernatural.
Less commonly, a fear of death.
Estimates for how common sleep paralysis is range widely - for his part, Hufford estimated that 15% of the population have experienced it at least once - but even at the lowest estimates, it is likely that you have experienced it, and near-certain that, whether or not you realise it, someone you know has. (People often don't talk about their experiences with it due to fear of being seen as crazy or simply not knowing how to describe it). It's what the word "nightmare" originally referred to (from the mære, the spirit credited with causing it) and was very probably the inspiration for Fuseli's famous painting The Nightmare.
It's associated with/the source for monsters in numerous folklores and mythologies - the Hungarian Lidérc, the South Carolinan Boo Hag, the Hmong Dab Tsog, the Scandinavian Mara/Mare, the Newfoundland Old Hag that inspired Hufford to write his book and possibly the shadow people of contemporary urban legend. But, as he noted, these incidents occur even in cultures, such as the 1970s and 1980s US he researched in, with no body of belief about it. And I want to be clear, this book isn't some sketchy thing by a woo-peddler. Hufford is emeritus Professor of Humanities and Psychiatry at Penn State University and got his book published by the University of Pennsylvania Press.
And the interesting thing is that there's no known, or even particularly strong, scientific explanation. The standard one is that your brain wakes up during REM sleep (that's the dream state), but when your body is still paralysed to stop you acting out your dreams, and hallucinates to rationalise the fear you feel. But this explanation has a ton of holes.
To be clear, I'm not (or at least I wasn't for a long time; I'm not so sure about it now) the kind of person who sees demons in every corner. I effectively held a naturalist outlook until last year, and I'm pretty sceptical of most supernatural claims now. But, seeing as sleep paralysis is consistently associated with malign spirits and/or witchcraft and the cultural and scientific explanations are both seriously flawed, I really do believe it is an evil spirit behind this.
I want to close with a verbatim quote from Hufford's book I found particularly fascinating:
"Some readers may be considering whether they wish to elect to "go along with" a paralysis attack if they should have another one. I would advise strongly against it. Madge [one of the many interviewees whose accounts the book was analysing] is not the only one who has reported having regretted her "openness" to the experience. I have spoken with people who have reported years of anguish, some of it involving symptomatology much like some of the features of psychosis, after having intentionally cultivated this experience. On the other hand, I have never encountered anyone who resisted the basic Old Hag experience who seemed injured by it even if it frequently returned."
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Alien Encounters: Investigating Government Cover-Ups
Tumblr media
The possibility of extraterrestrial life has fascinated humans for centuries. From ancient civilisations to modern day conspiracy theories, the idea of aliens visiting Earth and interacting with humans has captured the imaginations of people around the world. But what if these encounters were not just the stuff of science fiction? What if the government was hiding evidence of alien contact? There have been numerous reports of UFO sightings and alleged alien encounters over the years, with some claiming that governments around the world have been actively covering up these incidents. The most famous case of government involvement in UFO sightings is undoubtedly the Roswell incident in 1947, when a mysterious object crashed in the New Mexico desert and was initially reported as a "flying disc" by the military before being quickly covered up as a weather balloon. But Roswell is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to government cover-ups of UFO sightings. In fact, there have been numerous reports of government agencies actively suppressing information about alien encounters and UFO sightings, often dismissing them as hoaxes or misidentifications. This has led to widespread scepticism among the public about the validity of these claims, and has fuelled theories of a massive government conspiracy to hide the truth about alien life. One of the most controversial claims of a government cover-up of alien encounters comes from former government officials and military personnel who have come forward with their own accounts of UFO sightings and government involvement. For example, former military pilot Commander David Fravor has spoken publicly about his encounter with a UFO off the coast of California in 2004, and has accused the government of downplaying the incident and failing to properly investigate the unidentified object. But why would the government cover up evidence of alien encounters? Some believe that the government is simply trying to prevent mass hysteria by keeping the truth about alien life hidden from the public. Others suggest that the government is hiding evidence of advanced alien technology that could be used for military purposes.
