Also not an ask, but I found a tip recently that says to put your feet in hot water and put a cool washcloth on that back of your neck if you have a migraine. I used it last time I had one and it helped me (though I just used a heating pad for my feet). I hope you feel better!

Ohhh, I will try that. I haven't heard that before but I will try anything. When I get migraines they last for like 4 days (I am currently on day 3 right now) and make it really hard for me to sleep or relax. I was at my parent's yesterday and mentioned to my mom halfway through the day I had a headache and she was all "I figured. You came in with giant bags under your eyes." Like THANKS MOM. THAT'S SO KIND OF YOU TO SAY.

The patriarchy is bad and evil and it sucks. But you can make it work for your benefit.

Example: I wear a fuck ton of make up to work. I'm talking heavy duty concealer to cover my dark circles, bunch of setting powder, brow pencil and gel, mascara, and inner corner highlight. Dolled the fuck up every day. I rarely go into work without makeup on because I know I look sick and tired without it.

But what about the days when I don't want to have to go into work but I must? When I feel like shit and don't wanna be there but can't call off? Simple solution: I don't wear makeup those days.

The change is instantaneous and very noticeable. People avoid bothering me and give me plenty of space. No one bugs me for small shit. It's glorious.

Am I pissed that there is a noticeable difference in how people treat me based only on my appearance? Oh absolutely! But until the system is destroyed, I'm gonna play it for my own personal gain, and you should too!

He relishes these mornings with Ellie; most of the time, he doesn’t even miss those early workouts. He definitely doesn’t miss waking up in a hotel bed in a different city. Jack’s mornings are a lot slower now, but they’re also a lot sweeter.

But most mornings, Jack’s knee doesn’t feel like somebody’s just jammed a screwdriver into it.
