I am just gonna say it: Doom of love was so meh and not even Pinar Deniz' beauty and singing saved it. I kept waiting for something big to happen while watching it. The car accident nor the reveal at the end fazed me. By the way: Yusuf had more personality than Firat.

HAREMDE DÖRT KADIN (1965)
dir. Halit Refiğ
Sadik is an ignorant, heir-less, self-indulgent yet religious Ottoman Pasha who lives in a luxurious mansion with his three wives. Mihrengiz, one of the women in his harem, grows attached to the Pasha's nephew, Dr. Cemal. Gülfem, often left in the background, is trying to conceive a child with the help of Rüştü, the Pasha's military-driven nephew, in order to increase her importance in the mansion. Şevkidil (the main wife) is a strong, scheming woman who is capable of managing the mansion and its people on her own, and who is in love with Mihrengiz. Things grow exponentially more complicated once the Pasha announces his wish to take the young and innocent Rusan as his fourth wife.
