this white user (futureevilscientist) then random af pulled the asks out and tagged the black user at the start of the post to talk all this shit AT them fsr?
then later, neil shows up herself.
this is the part u cannot *cannot* say is not racist. neil is directly replying to a reblog of *someone else's main post* and placing full blame for a "call out post" on the *black* user.
she then pulls out her white jewish shit to speak over the main topic, which is racism / antiblackness.

"remember how I was bullied off this site u guys :("
white fandom was all over her dramatic distraction posts btw (nalyra commented on them too, so she is v aware this happened). v few people reached out to the black user or cared about the shit they were dealing with.
these white fandom ppl *never* have any receipts of bullying either, they just *say* it happens and flock to give hugs so it looks like lots of support is happening for a real "issue." but it's not real. everything they do is meant to manipulate u. this nalyra ask is still doing that.
when ur told what to think about someone or u can't find evidence of things happening beyond what anyone, even a group of ppl, *tells u* is happening then u need to rly remain suspicious of the reality of it.
these are asks that the black user got after this stuff happened. so now we've created a new issue from nothing and we're not talking about racism or how ur bullying a black user over literally nothing anymore. now it's suddenly all about poor neilcfreak and her white jewish identity and victimhood from a big, bad black fan. she's gotta make this all make her look like the real victim to cover up how embarrassed and stupid she felt for being called out on saying racist shit.

Tips for Writers, Specific to Tumblr
PUT YOUR FICS UNDER A READ MORE. Good lord in heaven please. You will turn off so many people to your writing if you do not use this function.
TAG APPROPRIATELY. And don't do the shitty TikTok way (with letter substitutions and stupid TikTok vernacular like "unalive" instead of "kill" and "slip n side" instead of "suicide" etc). Tag like a normal ass human being. And don't tag things that aren't included like characters that are in the fandom but don't show up in your fic. That crap is annoying. You're not gaming the system; you're shooting yourself in the foot and turning people off to your work.
LINK YOUR WORK. Make it easy to find what you've written. Searching for posts on Tumblr is terrible so make a Masterlist and pin that shit.
START A TAGLIST. Even if you don't have many followers, go ahead and set up a way for people to be added. (And Do Not Add People Unless They've Asked To Be Added)
Tips for Writers in General (below the cut)
GET A BETA READER. If you want to improve your writing, get yourself a beta reader. If you have a friend that also writes, become each other's betas. Both having an editor and being an editor can improve your writing so much. My betas catch fewer and fewer mistakes the longer I do this. And I learn so much from reading/editing my friend's fics.
DO SPRINTS. If you're having trouble just starting, set a timer for 5-15 minutes and just start writing. Don't go back and try to fix typos or make every sentence perfect; just get your thoughts down. A crappy low word count sprint is still better than not writing at all. You can edit and finesse and polish later, but first you have to have something to edit! (If you're on Discord, set up the bot Sprinto. Great for getting friends on sprints and it automatically tallies up your word count.)
WRITE FOR YOU. Don't write because you want the notes or the followers or whatever. Write because you want to share a story. If you're writing crap just bc it's popular and you don't even like it, why bother? You should write to enjoy yourself. I write because the spirit of Silco possesses me until the fic is written and who am I to deny him?

Backstory~
I was coming back from holiday in Port U Gal (it was nice, other than the fact i burned to death a lot) and decided HEY! I DOWNLOADED THE LAST EPISODE OF XTALE TO WATCH ON THE PLANE! I SHOULD DO THAT!
Before this, I had slowly been dragging myself through xtale (adhd means i needed to spread it out). I liked it, other than the fact I had no idea what was going on 30% of the time. Anyway.
So I watched Xtale episode the last, and suddenly Sans was relevant despite only having about two speaking roles beforehand. And suddenly he and CharaFrisk were claiming to be besties. And suddenly FriskChara tried to make him kill them bc... it would force XGaster into reseting, weakening him (i think).
All of a sudden everyone's memories were back and they were about to kick XGaster's ass. WONDERFUL, thought me. THIS CUNT'S HAD IT COMING FOR TEN EPISODES. But then GUESS WHO SUDDENLY DEVELOPS MARY SUE SUPERPOWERS AND DESTROYS THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE, BECAUSE... I genuinely do not know.
Did he feel CharaFrisk betrayed him by overwriting him? Maybe, but I think their actions were justified. They didn't see any other way out and they genuinely thought sans would be willing to help bc theyre besties for some reason.
Did he feel for Gaster bc he raised him? Valid enough, but if that's the case why did Papyrus (who was also raised by XGaster), Mr Spare a Genocidal Maniac, join the Gaster torture?
And again, WHY WAS HE THAT OP? There is no explanation for where those powers came from and I think that it is ridiculous he destroyed everyone and everything with full control over his powers, and then had the gall to wail about it. Like dude. No one was forcing you to do that?? Jeez.
And then Ink, who somehow failed to notice the Ten Variations of Hell Gaster created despite multiversal watch being his LITERAL JOB, comes in like. Oh! Hi sans variant in a destroyed universe! You're invited to the main plotline now! ;D
Wow.
Nothing against Ink, but according to the poll runner server, Ink's inaction is kind of a thing that happens a lot in Underverse. Rip.

I really, really appreciate you offering. It is honestly so kind of you and flattering that you like them so much.
However, I got off my ass (or, well, sat on my ass in front of my computer) and started doing it myself. I've started a collection of them on Ao3 here. The Kirishima one is up and I'm hoping to have the Shigaraki one up later today. I don't know if I'll add the Bakugo-Ochako-Toga one or the Deku one (especially since I think I'd like to add to/revise it so it talks more about All Might), but we'll see.
Part of the reason I hadn't already done it isn't just because it's a pain in the butt - it is because there's some errors on the graphics that I need to fix (though there will also probably be more that I won't catch, alas), and then would need to re-upload them (which Tumblr is not keen on letting me do for the "presentation" posts due to their huge size. This is part of why not all the links work as intended - I can't edit them after the fact.)
I'm not keen on having to keep track of an image database in five places (My hard drive, my computer files, Google Drive, Tumblr, some third party hosting site) that isn't for the purposes of backups. I do that kind of thing for part of my job and I absolutely despise it (I hate my job.)

How can you write a whole article (short as it is) and not even try to reach out to the person?? Like even to tell me it existed!
And there's little things in it that are just not quite right that bother me!
Sure my reddit username is u/pokemoncrochet but that's not my name! I'm a person! I have a name! I probably would've said yeah just call me by "pokemoncrochet" or even DPC "Daily Pokemon Crochet" because that's how people know me, but they didn't even ask! They didn't even bother!
They're wrong about how many Pokemon I have in my collection, they just used the number in the video! They said I don't have any doubles but of course I do! How could I not have any doubles after all this time and this many! And small details like that are important to me!
They said I'm making around 100 Pokemon a year! Where did they get that number? Just pulled it out their ass? Huh? Did some dumb math about 500/5 is 100? So next month and a half when I hit 100 I'm just gonna stop for the year?? Like again this is a small thing to be upset about but I work on small things all the time! Small details are so important! And even just making up random small shit... is still making up shit! Why??
And you know what okay at least they did at least a cursory overview of my reddit so that they could get a little quote in there. BUT! THEY COULD'VE JUST ASKED ME?
And okay they linked my reddit and tumblr, BUT it's linked incorrectly! Idk if that's formatting error on the website or whatever, but that just speaks to how lazy the whole thing is! It doesn't even link to other places right! And like?? Why not link to my patreon?? Or twitter or instagram?? Because they don't know about them? BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T ASK?
FINALLY. I swear to god I think I have seen this guy's face. It might be my ego talking and my anger misremembering thing but I swearrrrr to god I have seen that little profile picture on one of my followers' icons?? Which just- Even if it isn't really them that I'm thinking of- That's a whole person! A whole person who didn't even have the courtesy to drop me a comment on reddit saying "hey this is cool! can i write a thing about in ign?" NO. Someone on tumblr had to tell me about it (thank you so much for telling me I had such high hopes going into that)!
I feel- Jumbled. I should be flattered that someone even thought it was cool what I was doing, and that that someone felt compelled to write about it. But I feel like what actually happened is that someone who happens to work at ign needed to hit some dumb article quota and just happened to scroll by my thing on reddit and typed up a blurb about it on the toilet. Which feels so impersonal and very close to "i won't pay you money, but i can pay you in exposure :) :)". Like I'm just some dumb little footnote.
#dpc asks#im upset because i feel like i should be flattered#but how would this have been flattering if they didn't even bother to tell me about it#and they didnt bother to ask me shit#and weirdly! weirdly! i am upset about the pronouns they're using#consistently throughout it's a they even though i am a SHE#and i have said this on my blog before that i am fine with ambiguous they them because we don't know each other#and that just really emphasizes how little they cared to even talk to me about it#and don't even get on my case about angry blogging about them#me doing this on tumblr is vastly different than a whole official article about it#im just a random person#they're a journalist or something and they couldn't do their job
