i think it’s interesting that five went to two other places in the future before the apocalypse and like. his family could’ve seen him running right there. just for an instant. and then they would have to lose him all over again. they might question if they even saw him, or if was just a trick of the light or the mind.

s1 is also the best because it is so entertaining to see viktor’s villain arc play out in slow burn. it’s so cathartic at the end as well??? i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again, s1 works 1000 times better as a stand-alone tragedy where all the characters are doomed by the narrative BUT with a hopeful ending
