In “Cassandra’s Revenge,” Cassandra chained Varian to a tree. Did she just... have chains on her, or did she use the ones from the tower that Gothel used to chain Eugene to the banister?

Edit: Okay, so it wasn’t a tree. It’s actually a beam from the tower. Not the banister, though. The paint on it is different.

He has two birthdays because Rapunzel assigned him a birthday in "Lost and Found," since he didn't know when it was, and then his real birthday was revealed in "Cassandra's Revenge"!

The fandom began acknowledging the anniversary of the airing of "Lost and Found" as his birthday well before "Cassandra's Revenge" aired, and so both birthdays stuck. Besides, he went his whole life without a birthday, he deserves to have two, now. 😌

It's been two years since CR and still no one has talked about how Cassandra is literally visiting the place her mother died. And the fact that that's her first time visiting the tower ruins knowing full well that that's where her mother died. Like, yes obviously it's probably hard for Rapunzel having to go back there but you can't tell me it wasn't just as hard for Cass.

So back in the day, I would stream new episodes of TTS season 3 at like 12AM PST when they dropped using Kast. The watch parties capped out at about 100 users and it was always kind of chaotic to tell ppl to show up early so they wouldn't lose their spot, and then refreshing the page until the ep showed up on Disney Now- it would appear for different people at different times.

Here's a small collection of random screenshots from some of the streams I hosted, including Cassandra's Revenge where Ricky (one of the writers) turned out to watch with us. I only had (have lmao) 1 monitor, which means I couldn't actually participate in chat because I had to keep the video in fullscreen mode- and I'll always be a bit sad I missed it LMAO

The Third Amber by Samurai_Jill isn't finished but it's a genuinely gorgeous look in the time between quirin getting out of the amber and all the moments in between the events of season 3 and it's just. a Beautiful story about a father and son with very very bad issues learning to understand eachother. this fic gets quirin down to a T like i can literally Hear jonathan banks in his internal dialogue

i just noticed something and i wanna point it out so itll bother you too /silly

throughout most of tts in 2 part eps its titled with the normal title, and then "(Part I of II)" or "(Part II of II)" after

except for cassandras revenge and plus est en vous

the most annoying thing is that the inconsistencies arent even consistent within themselves

like 13 and 14 use roman numerals for the first part but then regular numbers for the rest?? but all the other episodes use only roman numerals

anyway do you remember which episode has the hot cocoa thing its very important and for scientific reasons (m gonna try ta memorize the scene) :P

i can't believe you're giving me such intense vat7k brainrot rn but also like,,,,i literally cannot stop thinking about the TTS episode where they actually get together. i know that people praise vat7k up and down for the writing and rep, etc, but varian kissing hugo was nov 5th for disney change my mind

I KNOW RIGHT LIKE???

i know ppl have Hot Takes about it happening at the end of queen for the day like, everyone always says 'oh hugo pushed him in a vulnerable moment' 'oh this was so rushed and out of place' when varian was literally the one who leaned in for comfort!!!!

he just lost his dad and he wanted comfort from his best friend! like yeah hugo kissed him but so many ppl act like varian doesn't have his own autonomy during this scene? He wanted to be kissed!

and the fandom always forgets how vulnerable HUGO is at that moment like, he thinks that varian is just letting him kiss him because he's the only person he has left, is terrified that he'll be tossed aside again once varian has his dad back

and i know ppl complain about it not being brought up again/them not kissing again until cassandra's revenge but i kind of like that it isn't brought up? like, they're clearly together from that point (even after quirin comes back) but it really pushes the idea that they were BOTH in an emotionally vulnerable state when it happened and they love and care about each other but just need some time to breathe to actually define it?

which is nice, they hold hands and hugo always has his arm around him so i don't mind that they saved more of the like, Obvious dating stuff for vat7k? tangled the series was rapunzel's story after all so it's not like they could really spend much time on them either way
