the only person I'm friends with who is a true obsessive tswiftie is a Dutch spam insta mutual of mine who believes he is the reincarnation of Jacob Louis Veldhuyzen van Zanten, the pilot who in 1977 caused (""caused"" in quotes because it IS more nuanced than that but yeah) the Tenerife airport disaster by taking off in foggy conditions without clearance and colliding his fully loaded 747 with another full 747, creating the deadliest aviation disaster of all time, killing himself and 582 others. He loves taylor swift and makes collages about his memories of his past life as a 50yo KLM pilot, the disaster and how he died, and his guilt over his part in the deaths of almost 600 people with Taylor swift and harry styles lyrics on them. I'm not making fun of him I think he's a cool guy genuinely. Just I kind of have to mention him whenever someone mentions tswift fans being wild because I truly think he blows most of them out of the water
