4 wood tones vampire mirror recolors with silver and gold decor. Chalkboard and stickerboard too, but stickerboard with different textile colors. Also it have many slots for stickers.

Diagrams for chalkboard (can be placed 1 per side). Can be placed on walls. Shining in night. Upsized for preview)

Postcardas and stickers for stickerboard. Can be placed on wall. Upsized for preview) Empty jar with slot (4 tag colors) and 2 jars with plants (3sw both)

Marble floor waysigns and decor (bad preview i know). Perfect with Madlens marble floors (cuz used this textures).

SIMS 4 - PILE OF SELECTABLE BOOKS - BASE GAME

This pile of books comes from the base game, but has been cloned using a city living mesh. Since the mesh has been significantly transformed, it is base game compatible.

It comes at a very cheap 10 Simoleons, is available in 5 colours, and provides +1 Focus.

You will find them in Buy mode in Bookshelves and Clutter, and you may see them in the occasional art center, cafe, high, school, laboratory, library, lounge, museum, penthouse, police station, relaxation center, retail store, thrift store, or university housing.

Mesh polygon's the same as the original pile of books:

Tutorial: Make Your Sims Book Buyable

Before we start, I would like you to know it's a way you will have to do manually with sims 4 studio. I didn't find a mod that does it and I don't know how to mod so that's how I do it.

Anyway, I am currently playing with a writer sim and I wanted to be able to buy her books from other household. I searched for a mod that does that but could not find one so I decided to just add her books as custom one. I did that before a few times so I thought this time I would share if anyone else wants to learn how to do it as well <3

Programs you'll need:

Sims 4 studio

Step 1:

Open sims 4 studio and choose Object. Make sure you have "Standalone Recolor" Selected.

Step 2:

Next, you'll see the program loading a bunch of items from the game. Click on "Show Debug Items" on the top bar, and on the search bar type "book".

Step 3:

Choose the book that fits your sim's book the best. I usually choose the same cover of the book my sim wrote in game so it would be more realistic but you don't have to. I would, however, advise you to choose a book from the genre you wrote if you plan on using custom cover. You can change the genre but it would save you time to just choose the cover that fits the genre. Here is a handy list of the books in game and their genre.

After you chose your book, click on "next".

Step 4:

After that sims 4 studio will prompt you to save your package file you are about to create. Pick a name and save it in a folder somewhere. I usually save it in my mods folder. I made a folder inside my mods folder called "My sims books" so it will be easier to find and remove if needed.

Step 5:

Next up we have to give a name for our book and a description. Please keep in mind to not delete the \n\n part in the description because it put space between the rows. You can also choose the price of the book. I usually choose it based on the quality of the book but if I'm lazy I just leave it as it is. Here how it looks after my changes (ignore the horrible title and description, I'm bad at this lol):

Once you finish, click on save then put it in your mods folder. And that is it! Now you can go ahead and buy your sim book in game!

I also sometimes go to an extreme and make a new edition of my sim book with a custom cover and pretend it's "a new edition for 5 years anniversary of the book" or something like that, so if you would like a tutorial on how I make custom covers let me know!

Hello Hello Hello :),

I swear it's a coincidence that EA just published a Book Nook kit, maybe they have seen my hint from last month :D, joking.

I am thrilled to show you this month's items, a 40-piece modular library. The bookshelves are traditional in style and perfect for a chateau setting, in my opinion :) The Bookshelf can be made from six pieces: two single-tile bookshelves, a 2-tile version, a rounded inside corner, an outside corner, and an extra decorative piece for separation. The bookshelves are full height and you will get short, medium, and tall versions. To spice up this library you will get ladders for the medium and tall versions.

Now let me reveal a little secret, I made functional secret book doors matching the shelves, I included arch versions too :) People were asking me to make them for years, but don't ask me why it took me so long to create them :D, I loved watching my testing sims walk through the book wall.

To fill up all the space I created 14 clutter items, 9 book pieces in two different styles and various sizes, 2 sculptures, 2 vases, and a box. I matched the slots to the dimensions of my items and everything can be mixed and matched quite well :)
