Please Consider This...
I'm not sure users understand why it really matters that Schemes kept her account so I wanted to write this. This isn't an attack on Schemes. Like someone else said, I hope you will read this simply as a criticism of the decision made by other staff to let her stay on that account.
We know Schemes cheated in tu/pets/items/etc. Logically, those illicit goods did not stay isolated on her account.
So let's imagine Schemes bought a name for 1 bil with tu she cheated in. In order for staff to correct the situation they would have to go to the user who sold the name and explain that Schemes cheated, give the name back, and reclaim the illicit 1 bil tu. This is just ONE transaction, but it creates a whole web of problems. First of all, contacting the other user exposes Schemes cheating. Secondly, what if the other user has already spent some or all of that tu? Staff would have to then go to the next person who recieved the illicit tu, and undo that transaction as well. Consider the same for any pets/eggs/items she cheated and bartered with as well. Are they going to track down every subsequent transaction attached to that illicit tu, and is that logically even possible? Probably not. Not only is it a massive amount of work for staff but it would also upset a lot of users.
So when she was caught, staff took pets, tu and items that she had spawned off of her account - but that's just what was still located on her account. What about the names, pets, and more that she obtained in exchange for her cheated goods and then traded/sold and so on? The wealth she obtained as a result is still at her disposal, on her account, and we can never know just how much she is still benefitting. Even staff don't really know. If nothing else, she had recently (before the ban) obtained high value names. Those names will continue to increase in value and she will be able to sell/trade them in the future. Staff didn't remove those names or send them back to their previous owners because, again, that would expose what she had been doing and create more problems.
If you're still skeptical that staff can't correct these transactions, please have a look at Kirtsi being hacked a few years ago. Staff caught the hacker and returned Kirsti's account to her, but staff told her it would be extremely difficult to try to get her things back (which is logically true). The hacker had been on her account for months - selling, buying and trading; doing quests, participating in events, hatching eggs, and so on. To undo it ALL they would have to contact every user who had interacted with this account. Including merchant, egg market and rancher sales, auctions and trades, private sales - and so much more. What a nightmare. Staff were right to say this couldn't reasonably be corrected. (I don't know who was on staff back then, I'm just saying it sounds like that was a fair decision). Now consider the same issues arise when trying to undo Schemes playing for an unknown amount of time with cheated tu/eggs/etc. Staff simply can not undo it all, especially not without admitting publicly that she was cheating and taking things back from users (which would be upsetting for everyone who unwittingly interacted with her illicit stuff).
So let's talk about why this is a situation that doesn't make sense to "forgive" with leniency. The new statement on bans asserts that users have been forgiven and allowed their account back if they show sufficient remorse for their actions. They weren't lying when they said this has happened in the past. In the case of a user who says something inappropriate or hostile, or perhaps a user who had a second account and managed to get 3 extra hatches per day, this may seem reasonable if that user understands they did something wrong and agrees to not repeat the behavior. The damage would be minimal and other rule-abiding users may be more inclined to see it as understandable. In the case of Schemes, you have damage done to the economy of the site (which is already in question and struggling) and a userbase who realize they've been cheated and now question the value of everything in the game. It gives them further reason to question other certain staff who seem to be doing remarkably better than any normal user could do. And above all else, as I demonstrated above, it fails to correct the problem at all.
Users know that any transaction they make with Schemes/Khione going forward should be viewed in a different light. When Khione asks for a fair price for something they're selling, the rest of us will wonder, "Am I now paying her my tu/etc that I had to work to earn fairly, for something that she (directly or indirectly) obtained through cheating?" And when they see her on an event leaderboard, or out-bid them in an auction, or buy a pet they can't afford - of course they will be bitter.
There's about 30 other reasons staff who cheat shouldn't be allowed to keep their account, but honestly it shouldn't be necessary to explain them, especially not to the staff members who made this decision.
I realize the hour grows late on this issue, and the more time that passes the less likely support staff are to decide to ban her account. But maybe laying it out like this will help other staff to realize how problematic this is and encourage them to speak up on behalf of the site.

a little context and backstory, we all know new users pop up especially during events. most of them are MAs and some are actually new players. during this last event, pegasus and fellow members were on a witch-hunt specifically looking into new accounts and trying to tie them to paradox, who has been officially banned.
we were told to be on the lookout for accounts that had more valuable pets and showed signs of wealth, because “it must be paradox (schemes)”
not sure what’s more disturbing,
- the obsession that lasted post her ban
- the automatic assumption she returned under an alias
- the amount of staff who ate this up and treated this as top priority to single out users who were newer and flag them to the staff chat as “paradox or maybe:paradox/schemes”.
- how rent free she lives in pegasus and other staff members heads. boy she really did a number on you huh? i have had interactions with her and i’ve always kept her at arms length and i will never truly understand this fixation people have with her. she might be gone, but pieces of her still linger around us.
also again I’d like to empathize on how staff resources are constantly wasted. Granted we only get paid a nest per month but.. be productive in a positive way, yeah? Also would like to add on to all the anons bashing juke, i 100% agree they aren’t a good person. I can list about 10 different occasions that have led me to this conclusion. I’m also confused. They made the first rescon and admitted to doing so. Uh.. why are they even a player still, LET ALONE A STAFF MEMBER? Do better.

ladies and gentleman.. your head of support, in staff chat discussing how she wished she could ban people based off “assumption” as if she hasn’t ever done it before. no surprise here though, you’d think paradox was the problem, however it goes deeper than that. (the corruption) pretty sure everyone thought pegaSUS was the golden staff member right? think again. and yes, this is from our staff chat. staff or not, i don’t think this kind of wording is appropriate for someone who is supposed to be the face of “support” and a role model slash mentor figure. the problem isn’t one singular person, if you’re going to blame one, let’s pick apart everyone else who’s on staff that is questionable or is STRAIGHT UP SUS. no one cares if a staff member breaks rules.. as long as they stay in line and under the radar they’re good to go. schemes/paras termination from staff was just, however this just leaves us to wonder who else is corrupt and how deep the cover ups go. i’m embarrassed to even be part of some conversations sometimes and generally mute them. the way staff members talk about the community and it’s players is sickening, to say the least.

I submitted an anonymous response to the feedback thread and they chose to lump it together with others of the same nature. While I understand the reasoning, the point of the submission was not only for staff to see it but also for other users, so I will be posting it here in its entirety minus a short preamble.
Some of the concerns in it were partially addressed, although why did we only have one day of limitations? Put daily limits for the duration. The first day had so much less stress and panic and disappointment than the first round and helped lead to a calmer second day even. Extend that.
Most important for everyone, especially those with gambling issues, to see is the final paragraph, which they did not address at all. Hopefully reading it helps those that have gambling problems at least take a step back and think before dropping the money. Here is the text of my submit as it was submitted, minus preamble:
First, I want to say that I love this thread and the transparency we're getting from staff lately. It's extremely refreshing and I have felt much better about a lot of things because of it.
Unfortunately, the latest responses here to the grab bags and CS issues were extraordinarily disappointing to me. Feel free to break this up into multiple posts if it's easier that way.
Firstly, the grab bags: Why are we refusing to limit them? I don't think anyone is asking for it to be an account limit overall, just a daily limit per account. This allows a wider range of people to purchase the bags and "spreads the wealth" as it were, as opposed to a single small group of people getting the whole release. Splitting it into 12 hours apart isn't going to help anything because what happens if it's 2am and 2pm for someone? One of those they'll be asleep and the other they'll likely be at work. They shouldn't have to compromise sleep or work to get these bags. Limit them to 3 or even 5 per account per day. You'll ultimately still get the same number of sales, just spread over time instead of all at once. It's different from all other CS items in that it's limited by number of items, not by date, meaning there is a finite amount that can be bought and that introduces anxiety and stress and panic-buying. Ultimately it is the individual's job to manage that, of course, but why encourage it? Is there a fear that people will buy less because they aren't rush-buying? Is there some other legitimate concern? To me it seems like spreading that purchasing power out will do nothing but give more members of the community access to a wonderful feature while, as an added side effect, make the site less antagonistic toward those with these kinds of spending issues.
Secondly, the gambling discussion: You're right, Res isn't rated by the ESRB, but it's still targeted towards kids (or at least that's how it's always been pitched). We allow users under 13 to sign up and access most features. To say that eggs as a whole aren't RNG and in a way simulated gambling is wildly irresponsible. Each color is essentially a "skin" in video game terms. Which "skin" you get is completely RNG and there is nothing you can do to influence it in any way. With regular eggs that's fine, with CS eggs, that is categorically paying with real money. Yes, you can get CS eggs without paying real money, but you can speed up the process with real money. NCJBs are another example of a money-gained RNG gamble. Much of this site is based on RNG in all honesty, but most of it has nothing to do with real money and therefore isn't a big deal. Saying "you're buying an Omni egg, you know you'll get an Omni" is like saying "You're buying a lootbox filled with skins, you know you'll get a skin when you use it." While that is true, you don't know which skin you're getting. Putting the gambling portion one step removed from the purchasing step and then claiming this means there is no gamble of any kind is wrong. This loops back around to my previous statement of why these grab bags were different from the eggs. The eggs are a consistent thing that people can take the time to consider. The grab bags are limited in number and there's nothing stopping people from impulse-dropping $10k on what is, in fact, a complete gamble (you know you're getting a squishy. Is it a mythical? A CS? Uldavian? What color is it?) Keeping the RNG aspect is one thing, the site is built around it at this point, but not only not limiting it but then outright stating that it's not a "gamble" feels insulting to users.

this is in response to "you'd think Schemes would have to be on her best behavior now to keep her account - yanno, like the rest of us would have to - but nope lol. She has started arguments in the sb & ignored staff when they intervened, publicly spoken about & posted in her blog/profile about this Rescon and her ban (topics the rest of us aren't allowed to mention)... Just get use to it. The rules don't apply the same to everyone, period. That's policy now. Pegasus & Hallows are to thank for it."
as silly as i may seem sitting here, defending the same people who probably banned me, please don't shift blame meant for me onto pegasus or hallows; they don't deserve that. please try to be understanding and kind. they're doing their job, and..its not an easy one.
my actions or "crimes against res" have been judged, that much is clear. i have no intentions of clearing my name anymore, its pointless, partially because of myself, and partially because most of you have decided who i am for me. on a positive note for those who do care about me, update- i've been putting my mental and physical health first and boy do i feel great. came back from my doctors apt for my upcoming surgery to..being banned.. and i didn't even react. we only give power to what we allow and i choose peace.
i don't care if my name is slandered on here, its been slandered from the birth of this blog, i might've even been its muse <3 :') ily guys for keeping my name alive and there is no sarcasm intended here, i just try to make myself laugh even in crappy situations.
however the same defense i wrote about dan i'll repeat here about pega and hallows, and i don't even know her (hallows). my actions are my actions and please let's just keep the blame focused on me. i can handle it. i've never felt so low reading these posts and at one point it almost really destroyed me completely, but i'm getting by. don't slander others names especially if you don't know how hard they work, (idk how hard now but pegasus used to bust her ass as support and i respect her a lot) or what they struggle with internally and what harm it could do to them, so don't try to drag their names through the mud. its really cruel and unfair.
also i'd like to note that the only "confrontation i had in sb" where it may have seemed like i was starting something was with rowan, who i apologized to minutes later. in my defense, my name was brought up first, and my clarification of the situation may have come off verbally harsh. it was a big miscommunication, and to my knowledge rowan and i do not have hard feelings towards each other. they're pretty neat.
i have posted about my ban in my blog which last i checked wasn't against the rules. the rules state to refrain from discussing banned members, not "you can't discuss your own ban"
(however when i was banned people were talking about me in the sb? its the double standards for me) me, speaking on my own ban is well within the rules and my right. i never mentioned word for word "truerescreatuconfessions" or even the words RESCON or referred anyone to this blog, so how did i break the rules/am above them??? i said "a blog" and right away that wording was automatically edited and removed from my posts and i was given a warning. soo.....what are you even saying anon?
the rules apply to everyone, including me which is why im banned, again. anyway, the lesson i've learned is that i can't expect the same love i show people and i've learned that the hard way this time around. just because i call people my friends doesn't mean they really consider me a friend. i'm only their friend when its beneficial to them, such as getting them a job on staff, a promotion, or saving them from being fired. LOL. tea time for another day ig if y'all are nice to me!!!!! once im no longer beneficial, or doing someone a favor or helping / gifting someone (by the way, this is something i would do because it made me HAPPY, not because i needed them or wanted them to like me. i like me, and i.. don't need anyone, except the people who have shown time over time they are my true friends. the ones who call who check on me, the ones who FaceTime me while im in the hospital sick, the ones who send me random messages throughout the day telling me i am loved, and that things do get better, and guess what? they have gotten better.)
another thing i noticed, once i started making new friends, my other "friends" start showing secret animosity. i can't ever win.. things turned around for me post my unbanning and i earned pets onsite but y'all will say its fake. ya'll will say dan changed my hatch luck. the same dan who fined me my entire savings//tu i had on res, the same dan who took my favorite creatu as punishment? lol stop.
the sad part is almost all the amazing creatu ive obtained since my unban weren't even hatched by me. they were hatched by random people or just active users, but that holds no weight here. i understand trust has to be earned. i really did try to be the best person i could be to everyone and as impartial as possible however when people get upset with me for picking and choosing who i decide to share MY pets and my time with, thats where i draw the line, because its ridiculous. i'm just happy that i got to fulfill a few more players goals such as unicorn w/ her albino kioka, and boonys with their achromatic and albino liyure, and i got to witness stargazer hatch an albino liyure which she's been trying to obtain for years and the matching colored pets eldritch and i hatched and tagged matching names onto. moments like THOSE are the ones i'll always remember. i know i have no say over anything pertaining to my account since i'm banned, but i truly truly hope juke gets heartache. they were working on an oak for me and they paid me half, and although the chances of that happening are slim, i really hope they obtain the name. i hope kitsune is returned to jess, she allowed me to hold on to it. i hope espeon, lust, anxiety, requiem and yvetal are returned to akechi. i was only babysitting them. there are logs of this. i also sold reptile to anakin a while ago, but i forgot to tag the name off because i got so caught up in rl it slipped my mind and she forgot to remind me, but it is my fault. the name and pet do belong to her though. i really wanted to gift my albino cyid to zydrate for their memorial pet on their birthday, but i guess my time has run out. i'm so so sorry.
for anon below who, let me rephrase, for multiple anons who have expressed their hatred, dislike or indifference towards me, all your opinions are valid. i respect you for voicing it. i work on being a better person every day, so no one ever has to feel that way because of me again. i never meant to hurt anyone, and if i did, i am genuinely sorry.

Note from the Moderator
I trust staff will uphold their policy regarding the contents of accounts previously owned by banned users, as no banned user (aside from Matt) has been allowed to dictate what happens to their belongings after being banned or move them to other accounts for "safe keeping" (as mentioned in a statement issued by staff on the official Rescreatu anonymous submission thread). If a user has a transaction in progress with a banned account I recommend they contact staff to have the transaction completed or refunded (I assume staff would have the final say in any pending transactions).

From a long-time player that used to love logging in everyday and playing with everyone, who now just checks in sparingly:
I hope those of you in higher power that have destroyed this bastion of some peoples childhoods feel terrible.
I cannot believe I ever recommended people spend time checking out this game and comparing it in any way to any other good game just for devs and staff to turn around and shit on what good impression I had and gave of them.
Rescreatu is a rotting corpse that should have died 5 years ago and I hope it dies for good soon. It will be a sour death, but its what it deserves for festering the way it has.

Matt then proceeded to send Vol 2 pets named "YouLiterallySuck" and "GiveOthersAChance" - Blatant harassment of a user and against the rules.
1) Any user would have done the same thing Vol did and there was no reason for Vol to know he shouldn't buy these items. Any one of us could've been the victim of Matt's behavior.
2) Even if a shop explicitly stated to "save some for others", no user would be under any obligation to do so. It's a public shop and there are no rules against buying multiple items, regardless of price. What if it had been some kid who can't even chat in the sb? They wouldn't even know Matt was going on a tirade about them.
3) If you want to do "something nice" for users in a more controlled way, do a giveaway in the forums. As an ex-staff member Matt should know this, he should know how shops work. Not only should he know better, but he shouldn't be harassing users who do something as innocent as purchase items from his shop.
Frankly I wouldn't even post this if I felt Matt would face significant consequences for his actions, I would just trust staff to take care of it. But I think we all know why he won't. And now his toxic little circle is continuing to bully and harrass Vol (as seen last night) and they'll be allowed to stay on the site, in the sb, making this regular user (and the rest of us) uncomfortable. I didn't even feel comfortable reporting the incident to staff because I was afraid of what might happen to me, as a result.
I'm glad the site has chosen to make sure ex-staff like Matt, who harass and abuse users, are allowed to keep their accounts/etc after abusing their staff privileges as well. All because they happen to be friends with the right person.
Anyway, I'm sure they'll continue to try to make this somehow about Vol. So I just want to say that the rest of us who saw what happened - who aren't above the rules on Rescreatu and who also know how it feels to get bullied by people like Matt and Schemes - are sorry for you Vol, and we know you did nothing wrong, whatever awful stuff they try to say to justify the way they abuse people. It really just depresses me to see this go on...

There was a drama in the sb between two users (Matt and Vol) with three or more users taking sides (Matt's) and giving Vol a hard time with a handful of staff on, and they let it continue for way too long before getting involved. Vol even asked for staff's help to lessen the drama that was going on, and said they felt bullied and it was taking a toll but no one came into the sb for a long time after, until Dan asked for it to be politely dropped but still too much time had passed and it had carried on way to long and should have been handled and broke up WAY sooner. Khione's name was brought up so she ended up showing up and getting involved, only THEN did staff actually show up to start issuing warnings.

A lot of people quit over Dan's cheating, and Blue getting to repeatedly skirt rules and regain pets he should've lost from being banned, and 14BM/Lilith's rampage in the past (+ the albino kioka she spawned in for someone) and her abusing staff powers but getting unbanned as well - on and on. Those who really know what went on don't stick around to keep reminding us of the past and why the site gets smaller all the time. They speak up a couple times, realize nothing's going to change, and leave. But if you're like me and you've stayed on the site despite being aware of these things going on (there's few of us, I know), it gets harder every time there's a new staff abusing their power. Especially when we've had to watch users treated more harshly for lesser transgressions. This should be the moment that staff choose to make the right call. It should be a moment that they show us the rules matter and that going forward there will be no tolerance for cheating staff. But they're deliberately choosing to perpetuate the problem we've been begging them to address. It's painful to watch. We tell staff over and over this is the exact reason users are quitting and they act like we're impossible to please and it's a mystery how user perception could be improved. Well we're telling you, very plainly. 75% of the posts here talk about this issue it seems. So maybe if it started being addressed, openly and with the severity it deserves, they'd be addressing the biggest issue on Res and all of the other little petty complaints wouldn't be such a big deal.

in no way was khione even comparing her blog to aria's untimely death, just a simple way of ensuring HER stuff goes where she wants? she didn't say anything wrong so far in it, as i can see. she can't post anything without you guys picking it apart. its ridiculous. she knows this too i'm sure, its CLEAR the blog would pick up on it, so maybe just maybe you'd think it was for personal reasons you would not understand that go further than just res or her online presence. i'd also like to say mercury retrograde is in full swing right now, don't know how many people here believe in that, however this can severely impact ones mental health especially those who are already going through a-lot. also, those who know her backstory which i ended up finding out about through here, people gossiping about her real life, that she has been through a-lot in the past regarding her physical safety, and obviously, she has cited mental health as well. maybe, just maybe you anon(s)could not pick everything apart?
i doubt she's referring to if she gets banned? obviously if breaks anymore rules or gets banned she has no say over where her stuff goes, because that means they aren't hers anymore.
khione- if you do read this, maybe you'd like to specify in your blog ^that part. because people think you're that air-headed to think you have rights to anything res wise if you get banned or removed from the site because of more stupidity.

Excuse me what?
The absolute and utter audacity of Khione to make that blog. There are so many things wrong with it. The biggest one is comparing herself in any way to Aria. What happened to Aria was an absolute tragedy and she had so many people that cared about her on this site that her account has been left alone. We actually dont know for sure that itll stay untouched whenever its time comes to be cleared so for her to even ask for such special treatment "if" something happens is insane. Aria never cheated, never had major beef with anyone, never lied or sold out her friends, never went behind anyones back. The circumstances are completely different. Im sure other people that used res at one point or another have died and nothing was done. This one instance a squishy was made in memory and as far as i know staff didnt do anything else special about it. The only reason her pets on her profile are still alive is that other users sent food to her food pen, might still be doing so even. That has nothing to do with staff "keeping them fed" so dont you even begin to request that for yourself.
The second biggest thing wrong with this blog is the fact that she is implying that shes going to hurt herself in some way. Staff never cared what a ban would do to anyone else that cheated in smaller ways, why do they care so much now? All letting her keep her account and trying to wriggle her way around the truth is doing is making you look worse and adding to her stress. Make a clean break with this account. Cut it off. If she makes a new one, dont let her get her stuff from this one back. This is just emotional manipulation of the highest form and youre letting her get away with it and letting her gaslight everyone else that reads these blogs and making them feel bad. It is damaging not only to your reputation and to her mental health but also to the mental health of anyone that reads it.
Res cant keep accounts of every single user that has died since they joined. Itll become a graveyard or a shrine. Thats just not practical and shouldnt be done. The longer res exists, the more users will die that have played. Thats just how it is.
The blog also explicitly includes this will for if shes banned. No, if your account is banned then you get no rights or privileges whatsoever. It is treated like any banned account and dealt with as such. I dont care how much you love your pets or whatever youve gained. You cheated more than all the users you ever personally banned put together and none of them got any rights to determine what happened to their stuff. Why should you?
Now for the meat of the blog. Done "whatever" with as she put it is exactly what happens to your stuff if you cheat or leave res. You dont get special treatment because you whined in a blog. No, your money shouldnt go in the donation pot. You know why? Because its cheated income. If you cheated to get it, it shouldnt exist, and theres no way to separate the money you got fairly from the money you got through cheated things. I dont care if its a good cause, cheated money is cheated money and it skews the economy. You dont get to choose what happens to your pets either. First of all as i said earlier they might be cheated. At this point theres no way to tell. If anything they should go in a clearing. Second, if youre banned youre banned. Deal with it. The pets are getting cleared in the next clearing. You dont get to say "if i get banned give these people these things" because 1. whose to say if you got any of those fairly either and 2. they might give them back to you if you ever come back. No one else except other cheaters like Blue got to get their banned pets back so why should you? Blue shouldn't have gotten them back either but its too late for that now and hes besties with Dan anyway. Dan couldnt stop you from being fired so he sure as heck shouldnt help you like he helped Blue.
Even regular users have commented on the blog telling her this cant happen and shes coming back at them with "everything ive written here will be honored (hopefully)" like shes blaming you for everything if it goes badly and making it seem like youre the bad guys if this isnt followed. Which is simply not true.
Staff, dont let this go on and stop letting this happen. This blog is an insult not only to you but also to any banned user, any user that has had something tragic happen, any user that worries about something bad happening, anyone on the userbase that doesnt have a chance at the same treatment, and most of all your credibility, integrity, and trust.

Dan's join date is really close to the date they joined staff AS AN ADMIN. The MOST powerful staff position. Last I heard Dan had hidden his join date from his profile and I guess all screen shots were lost when Juke wiped the old Resconfes blog in exchange for being unbanned and allowed on staff so for anyone unaware you're just going to have to take our word on this. The proof was there.
What does Dan actually do? We know that they can start events and put them together but we also know that all they do is copy existing code (they've said so themselves) why did you need someone with a sparkling new account to do this? Why not a long time trusted player or someone who was already knowledgeable with the ins and outs of Res? Why let them accumulate wealth at such a crazy, unparalleled speed?
My theory is Dan and Pat have worked together before or know each other in some way. IMO it's the only thing that makes any sense in this situation.
Nothing will ever happen unless Pat wakes up one day and suddenly cares about the integrity of his site. Pat NEEDS to wake up and realise what's happening, but let's be real, he doesn't exactly have the best track record of dealing with rouge admins, coders, problems etc
This is deeper than the hypocritical statements and actions of the surface level staff members, that's just the horrible tip of a crappy iceberg

Open Letter to Staff
If you're on staff and reading this you know the truth about why Schemes was banned. You can tell yourself that users don't know, but you can't pretend you don't. You know. And I hope you read this and it sinks in. I hope one of you has the decency to do something.
That being said, we do know. It was pretty obvious from the start and trying to act like a staff member getting a bunch of things taken off their account and then being fired and banned wasn't about her cheating is pretty insulting. It only became more obvious as time went on, and posting a loophole to excuse allowing a cheater to keep their account didn't help. This whole thing is making the site look worse than it ever has. It's not bad enough nothing gets done about Dan. Now you have evidence in hand of a staff member spawning stuff in for herself and this is the choice you make? You let her keep her account? You can gaslight us and pretend that's not what happened - but you can't gaslight the rest of staff who know the truth.
You're going to go back to banning regular users tomorrow who are caught with second accounts, and banning anyone who is critical of what's going on, but not a staff member caught cheating. This exception might be understandable in the case of a user who abuses a glitch for a short time, or even a user who created a second account and didn't significantly benefit from it. Res needs users and some leniency for your average person - who doesn't have the responsibility or power of a staff member - would be underestandable. The damage they do is typically minimal. At most they were still forced to operate within the parameters of the game to earn slightly more than other users. You could even argue that multi-accounts contribute more activity to the site by still having to play the game. Obviously having multiple accounts is not alright either, but I think we can all agree it pales in comparison to having access to staff panels that allow you to create and move anything at will and betraying the trust you were afforded. They also don't damage the reputation of the site/staff. Speaking of multi-accounts, did you guys check out Shadow, Dan's second account?
Staff are the people you're suppose to hold to a higher standard. We're suppose to trust that staff, above everyone else, will uphold the rules. This isn't even about Schemes anymore. Schemes is no longer staff, it's no longer her responsibility to do the right thing for the site. But Pegasus and Hallows - where is your integrity? You didn't stand up for Kina, you didn't question her getting banned and her account wiped and her names ending up on Dan's account and her name on her staff items being erased when she spoke up. Did you ask why Juke was suddenly allowed back on site after they wiped Kina's screenshots from the old blog? You didn't look into anything Hell tried to report to Lilith about Dan getting names from the clearing before the showroom cleared, and then let her be banned for it, even though Kina shared that this was something she was aware of Dan doing. You stood by while users were banned for being upset about the clearing - which not one of you can argue was handled fairly. Other users have cried "mental health issues" from being banned and were given none of the consideration or exceptions you're making now. Kina, who allegedly was banned for "being toxic", wasn't given the privilege of this leniency (even though most people would agree "being toxic" should have warranted a temporary ban at best). Now we all know where you stand if you let this decision stand as well.
How can we trust that nothing else on Scheme's account is illegitimate? How far back did you investigate, and did you consider every transaction she's had with other users? Because that's gotta be an immense amount of work considering she's been on staff for some time now. I know you won't answer these questions for us, but can you confidently say to your fellow staff that it was extensively investigated? Even still, can you say to the rest of staff that this decision was fair to them either? They've been (hopefully) not abusing their staff privileges, playing by the rules and even putting up with all of us disgruntled jerks for very little thanks - and now they're going to have to keep playing knowing that this sort of thing does go on, that users were right, and now they have to defend a decision that wasn't fair to them either - all while watching Schemes continue to play.
Ever notice how when you play a game with friends and turn cheats on, the game stops being fun pretty quickly? Well, it's even less fun when only one of your friends gets to turn on cheats, isn't it? It kind of breaks the whole game for everyone, doesn't it? The value of everything falls into question, and you no longer feel like working for anything. That's how users feel and it's only going to get worse if staff continue to prove they don't care about it. That's what you're creating when you don't maintain the trust of users.
You could easily still do the right thing. I hope you realize the site is worth trying for. I hope you'll also consider that this incident proves it's possible this sort of thing can and does go on. If someone hadn't submitted those screenshots to the blog, would you have noticed her cheating I wonder?
And to the rest of staff - if your leaders refuse to do the right thing, maybe you should. Imagine this scenario: You expose the truth about the ban, share the details, say that you don't agree with rules not being enforced fairly. If they fire you from staff, how could they possibly defend that decision to users? "We banned them for trying to uphold the fairness and integrity of Rescreatu." Users will not be angry with the staff member(s) who take a stand. Further more, it's pretty easy to do it anonymously anyway. Food for thought.

I was in the SB when this happened, to explain a bit Khione was sharing her idea about a future possible side gig or job, kind of a long story, but everyone knows that the SB has limited writing space and it gets cut off. She only was sharing BECAUSE we (at least 5 users who were fully engaged in the conversation) were expressing interest, after she showed us some of her work which we wanted to learn more about.
Anakin comes and says: "easy on the amount of msgs pls getting a little spammy"
-which would be fine to the normal eye or someone who just logged on, as it was just sb and another mod who was engaged in this chat as well. She didn't seem to have an issue with it, and the sb was still carrying on. I think it was unnecessary for Anakin to even have said anything. Anakin herself has spammed the sb with her band of friends and no one says anything. Why is it okay for her to do it but when Khione is telling an actual story that MULTIPLE people asked her to get more into it's an issue?
Khione responds: "yeah, i realized, mb (assuming this means my bad as in sorry) glad you're here actually - any idea when you'll have the remaining 1.6 bil, or youre paying in increments? kinda low on tu rn x"

- So myself and a few other players who discussed this amongst one another. Bit confused here, i was always under the impression the two were very, very close friends. Khione even gifted Anakin's boyfriend an amber wyrae a few days ago citing "you're my friends bf" so whats up with this? I am aware theres alot circling around Khione right now but this treatment and how a "moderator" handled this was out of line. Please do better.

Be kind, it's free.. also If Dan and Khione were as close as they clearly were and she still got banned/fired, I hope you really don't believe that it can't happen to you. I've read blogs of their friendship and the times I've spoken to Khione she speaks of him like a dear friend. Regarding Dan, we know he cheats and basically runs Res. If she did something wrong, he could've covered it I'm sure he has the means to, but he banned her I believe, or one of the admins. My theory is they just stopped liking her which is pretty sad. If thats the case whats even sadder is she still won't tell us anything, and I'm sure she knows enough to take ALL the corrupt users down. Sigh, no one wins and she gets the shortest straw. Khione if you do read this even though you said your post defending Dan's name (which I'm now raising eyebrows at because maybe he is the cause of this) would be the last one, I really wish you would just air everyone's business out, call me one for drama, or not, this just seems so sudden, and a bit.. strange? I know I'm not the only one thinking this.

Clarification on your last post because I care about y'all bashing and lying on my friend more than when you guys bash me and spread lies
Hey admin or whoever reads this, i abided by your rules and made a long submit because last time you specifically told me this is what you prefer. I apologize for not respecting your wishes before so here I am. The email address is not a real one, as you said it didn't matter. I think it's pretty clear it's me, Schemes/Khione. So, today I had a long, emotional, insightful and frankly eye opening conversation with someone today who truly wanted the best for me and reminded me that what people on this blog say about me or feel about me should not be affecting me the way I allow it to because it has yet again taken a severe toll on my health. With that being said I have officially decided that I will no longer be trying to post here because. For those who have been following this blog and the things said about me, I finally accepted today that even if I did share my story, 9/10 it would fall on deaf ears. There just seems to be no sense in me attempting to convince or show people I am a good person, or clear up rumors when the majority of you have already made up your minds about me. I believe wholeheartedly nothing I say will change anyones opinion on me and today, I made peace with that today. My healing journey from all the trauma, pain and hurt this blog has caused me begins today. I will not be "okay" or "mentally better" overnight but my main priority from now on is try to control how I let how people feel about me get to me because for the people who do post negatively about me, after it's said and done you guys are okay. Unfortunately it's not that simple for me so I will refrain from engaging or entertaining anything that is being said about me right now or in the future. I agree with the posts below from the anons saying neither I, Elohim, any staff member or tbh ANYONE is obligated to explain anything or clear anything up, unless they CHOOSE to. The same way those who speak bad on me CHOOSE to, I would like to choose happiness over turmoil and chaos in my heart and mind. With that said I pick peace over the constant feeling of overwhelming waves of sadness, thoughts of self harm and negativity that I've been having a hard time managing and just the constant bashing of me ever since this version of rescon was created. The SOLE reason I made the decision tonight to make this final post is to make something very clear. I will try to be as respectful and clear with my words as I can, as you all know my previous posts were poorly written because I was having non stop panic attacks and episodes in general. From today on, I choose life. I'm done, you can think what you think of me. I have no control over how others feel about me. I have come to fully accept this. I just hope the next person you target and hurt this way can one day find the day to heal and be able to walk away from this. Before I go, I'd like to address this post, it's been sitting heavy on my mind because of how untrue it is. Dan might not care how others perceive him but I refuse to sit here idle and let ANYONE lie on him especially without proof. ESPECIALLY if I'm also being brought into a story/theory that is untrue. It seems to me that Dan needs buyers - he was making cash (USD) selling cheated things. " - to whoever wrote that, whether it was an admin or mod, you entitled to your opinion and conspiracy theories, this is not something i have control over. what I do have control over is how i react to this. like i stated above I'm done letting this blog get to me. If you thought this long submission was going to be me "admitting" to anything regarding no longer being staff, just scroll past this. The sole reason of this submission is to tell the readers this has absolutely zero base. It doesn't even make sense. It's kind of cool you're defending me in a subtle way and basically insinuating I was a unknowing victim in a plot for Dan making USD off me. That's what I got out of this. I have zero knowledge of Dan selling Kina anything. Yes we have allllllll seen the "evidence" pinned at the top of your page submitted by Kina. Let me be very clear if hypothetically they had ANY dealings that involved money, I wholeheartedly believe that there would have been MAJOR consequences, not just a ban. I didn't get "caught in the cross fire" of anything except for unknowingly stepping into a one sided friendship between the two of them. That has nothing to do w/ me, so kindly keep me out of that, thank you. I am running on 3 days of no sleep due to personal health recovery issues and I'm literally nodding off typing this but to be VERY CLEAR, Dan has never sold anything to me for USD. I actually have borrowed TU from friends however to buy names / pets off him and I don't think this is against the rules. Also, Dan didn't need to "fill a position" after Kina was no longer on Res. Everyone who knows Dan knows he prefers his own company and doesn't trust most people, because look how his own best friend did him. It is unfortunate their friendship took the turn it did but the damage is done, I believe on both ends. I used to hate Dan. I came back from years of hiatus, didn't know him, made the wrong friends and let them brainwash me into thinking he was this evil, malicious person. He's literally just Dan. He's not an easy person to like, I'm obviously proof of that, I literally just said I hated him when we first met. So for me to go this hard right now to defend his name because all his other "friends/associates" are cowards should speak volumes. Dan went out of his way and helped me upon my return from hiatus even with the knowledge that I engaged in the slander of his name. He knew, acted like he didn't, he just simply was professional and did his job and helped me because that's his true nature. And for those who know ME, if the shoe was on the other foot and it was Dan who needed help and I had the ability to do so and knew he slandered my name, I would have told him to kick rocks because I hadn't reached that level of mental maturity yet in life. So for that, he will always have my respect. I on the other hand had to earn his because being naive at that time I allowed others to spread lies about him and engaged in it as well. I have apologized, this was years ago but Dan if you're reading this, I'm sorry again. Okay I'm really falling asleep Id love to continue this post as it is my last one but I physically can't. For anons, admin and mods, I hope you guys read this and form a new perspective. Key word hope, but today someone reminded me no matter how cruel the world or people are to you, never let it make you cruel too. P.S. if I didn't make this clear, Dan IS my friend. I know he won't read this, I honestly hope he doesn't because the things you have been saying about him recently even trigger me and they had nothing to do with me. So again, I (Schemes/Khione) have never in my life bought anything with real currency (USD, etc) from him. It was never even a thought that crossed HIS mine let alone mine. This man bought me the name Wendigo for about 4bil when I was going through a breakup w my ex of 8 years just to cheer me up. He's given me constant gifts on holidays and my birthday just because "hey what are friends for?" that's literally what he said. So please cut it out with the whole money thing. It's ridiculous and it's offensive especially to me because he has done things out of the genuine kindness of his heart to make me happy when I was in a deep depressive state, even worse than the one I've been in lately. Schemes & Staff
It would be really nice if staff would issue a statement when something like this happens. Take responsibility for whatever the issue is and be honest with us. It might actually help build trust instead of making us feel like more shady things are happening with staff, who seem to act like they never owe us any explanation or communication. Which just makes me feel like fine - if you don't owe us any communication, if our concerns never matter to you, why should we continue to support the site with our time or money?
At this point, most of us probably assume Schemes did something wrong. After all, she was banned and removed from staff and we are told to believe that staff only take action against someone if there is concrete evidence of wrong doing. If she didn't do anything wrong, then someone else on staff did - they would have wrongfully banned her - which is also problematic, and presumably that staff member would be under investigation. How can we trust anything staff say when this is what we see, and they behave like they need to hide things from us?
From the outside it appears that Schemes did something wrong, someone on staff tried to hold her accountable, and then it was undone by someone (most of us are assuming Dan) to allow Schemes to atleast keep her account. If that isn't the case, why not issue a statement? Why not spare Schemes the grief and speculation, and allow her back on staff, if she did nothing wrong? It seems wrong to let her suffer the fallout if she didn't do anything?
But I'm guessing staff will ignore this issue like all the previous accusations, waiting for us to just get tired again and stop talking about it, losing more users in the process because a few more inevitably hit their breaking point and can't keep playing on a site that outwardly seems corrupt and unfair. And in this case you're losing users on BOTH sides - people leaving because they believe Schemes was just wrongly banned/treated, and users who think she just got away with cheating. Regardless of what has or hasn't happened, when this is the general perception of your site - you're going to continue to lose users. And Res is so dangerously close to losing the last few of us... How long will it be policy to just not acknowledge us? Until there's no one left?
If nothing else, I hope Schemes, or whoever banned her, will come forward and explain the situation to us. Schemes, your messages didn't tell us what happened. If you are innocent, tell us what happened. There are many users who have no opinion of you - they simply play the game and want to know what happened and if it was fair or not, or if this is another reason to be suspicious of staff.
Any other game would be quick to handle this - they would almost certainly apologize to users for any loss of trust, they would explain the situation and what steps are being taken to prevent any wrong doing in the future. It feels like there's no one on staff that is dealing with user relations. It's felt for ages like staff just aren't held to any standard or have any real leadership. I spoke to a friend of mine on staff (they gave me permission to write this) and they said: "I'm just trying to do what little good I can. I'm too scared to confront the higher ups, I don't want to lose my account but I do care. People think we can do something but most of us can't." Are the "higher ups" (I'm not sure who that would be other than Dan) talking to their team as a whole about what Rescreatu is going through? It sounds like even on staff the perception of the site isn't good.
Are there like, staff meetings? If not, maybe there could be, to help everyone get on the same page and work on solutions for issues like this as a team. I mean it's worth trying something, isn't it? The site is dying. There's not much time left for an intervention.
Idk just a thought. It seems like being accountable and honest with users is just a better policy for everyone, and makes life easier for staff. Communication can go a long way just to make us feel like staff care.
