With the annual SuperCultural Festival underway Tamryn knew that she would have to make some sort of appearance despite how busy she was with the LSA as well and advocating the Werewolf Species world wide. Tamryn was known for her wild and typically public lifestyle as she seemed to be one of the few Supernaturals that fed off the notoriety and fame that came with being who she was. Despite her entourage surrounding the redhead, Tamryn still stood out against the crowd of event goers. As she strutted deeper into the fairgrounds her entourage kept adoring fans and others away from the She wolf. Only when she stepped beyond her posse to directly address someone did they heel to her. She instantly located the beer garden and placed an order for herself as she turned to study those around her. Her vivid light blue hues caught reflective traces of golden yellow as the fair lights danced about. As she scanned the area while waiting for her drink she spoke to no one in particular but knew that she would be heard regardless,
“I do wonder what will unfold this year at this...festival of superiority. we all know that is what it is.”

Content in the witch’s arms the she wolf simply listened to the colliding sound of her lover’s heart and the ocean in her head, it was peaceful in a way that she never thought the sound of waves could have been, though she was more focused on Elidi’s heartbeat. Though once Elidi’s voice lifted her from her content focus she listened to the suggestions,
“We can lay here all day if you want, or we can go back to the room and wait until later on tonight to come down here when no one else is on the beach? Watching a movie sounds like a wonderful idea, laying out a blanket on the balcony also sounds extremely romantic. We honestly can do it all, we have the time to do whatever we want. I find it extremely attractive you are coming up with all these things for us to do, and that you packed snacks.”
The she wolf trailed off. Lifting her head she noticed her love look towards the canopy, arching a brow she looked towards it as well,
“We could also stay in there and order drinks until we are too drunk to walk back up to the room. We can just stay on the beach all day and I am sure I can get to a level of drunkenness to not exactly mind the water. Though being with you I am not as terrified.”
She let out a soft and approving growl at how Elidi’s fingers moved under her chin it caused her eyes to shift yellow once again for a moment as she let the growl roll past her lips softly. Remaining silent to the how weak the action truly made her the she wolf was happy to be tucked back against Elidi’s chest in an embrace, finding the way the woman held her to be something she was favoring like many things the witch did. Still in utter bliss the Alpha stayed in Elidi’s arms hearing her words once more, lifting her head slightly as she spoke while looking up at her lover somewhat,
“Hearing it from you, no. I don’t think I ever will... I could tell you have never said it to anyone before, I heard it in your voice when you said it to me, and it means the world and beyond to me. Knowing that I hold that above all others, because I have never said I love you to anyone beyond my family. I don’t even really tell people if I like them, I’m not one to often express anything beyond the physical. But I want to hear you say it, any and every time the words cross your mind.”
“I would not mind going back to the hotel room, or the canopy if you want. I cant pick if laying down watching a movie or laying out on the balcony sounds better. But I think if we watch a movie then we can always come back down later tonight and lay out a blanket and drink under the moon and the stars.”
Tumblr media
Tamryn's suggestions perked Elidi up, causing the witch to straighten her posture, arms carefully retracting from their embrace around the redhead. "I want to do all of that." Though there was one suggestion in particular that had caused her to wrinkle her nose, "Well... I don't want you to go into the water drunk, that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It'll just be me and you, Red." Her unoccupied hands moved to cup Tamryn's face, lips dropping to kiss the tip of her nose faintly. "I would love to come back tonight with you though and star gaze, mi amor. The current is stronger at night, even if I can manipulate it some, I wouldn't dare risk swimming for anything, nor would I want to scare you. Our best bet to swim would be during the day." Digits idly fiddled with the strap of Tamryn's bathing suit, a grin quirking her lips, even this material was designer and it seemed like nothing less than Tamryn, completely fitting. Meanwhile Elidi had selected one solely on the color, determined to soak up as much of the sun's rays as possible. Maybe she should've put sunblock on...
Blue eyes turned toward the water, the waves beckoning her, though she knew she could return at another time. Her eyes shut briefly, taking in the ambient sounds of the beach, a soft sigh departing from her lips. After a quiet moment Elidi turns to Tamryn, helping the redhead up as she stood. "Let's go, we can come back tonight."
Although excited to do something new with Tamryn, her lids fell halfway, not as enthused to haul all the items up again. Regardless she packs everything back up, aside from the endless sand, it wasn't all that tedious of a task. Before grabbing the ice chest she pops open the lid, set on having a quick snack before they leave, her gaze drawn to the bottle of wine she had set inside. An idea crosses her mind, a faint smile curling her lips as she slams the lids shut, picking the container up. "Okay I'm ready!"
Soon enough they are back inside their room, and despite the shower station they had outside, Elidi still found herself covered in gritty sand. An unfavorable sensation. Although they could shower together, that would ruin her plan, and she found herself uttering a lame excuse to shower first, taking a much shorter bath than she usually would. She didn't want Tamryn to sit too long in the sand anyways. Emerging from the bathroom, towel drying her hair she wore a black tank top and shorts, stepping aside so Tamryn could enter. Lips press sweetly to the Alpha's cheek, an apology uttered for stepping in first, "Take your time, Red, they have an assortment of goodies in there, lots of bath stuff." Elidi nodded her head, lips pursing, she had been tempted to try some herself.
Upon hearing the running water, she makes a quick yet quiet retreat from their room. Unsure of how long Tamryn would actually take, her pace is brisk as she hurries her way to the hotel shop. By some miracle they actually have what she needs, roses! A bouquet is quickly selected. Though her selection in candles is quite slim, bright hues flickering over her options with a furrowed brow. A worker is kind enough to help her, hurriedly at that as Elidi summarizes her situation. At the check out she stares at an aray of chocolates, shrugging her shoulders as she tossed a few into her pile. Did Tamryn like chocolate? Eh. Who didn't?
Bag in hand she hummed contently, feeling like she made pretty good time with her purchases. Opening the door, her eyes drift toward the shut bathroom door. In hushed tones she begins her work, muttering an apology to the flowers as she carefully ripped the petals free. The majority of the red petals stayed on the bed, a small trail left from the bathroom. Elidi stills as she hears the water shutting off, scrambling to the few candles she bought, setting them around the room before lighting them, where she may or may not have struggled with the lighter. The chocolates are set onto the pillows, more so tossed and she nearly trips over the mattress as she fetches the bottle of wine, "Fuck!" Nestling the bottle against the pillows she rubbed at her knee, glaring at the edge of the bed with a huff. Reaching for the remote she sets it on the bed, happy with her rushed display, and although not as perfect as she'd like it to be, it was cute to her none the less.
At the sound of the door opening she turned quickly, standing to face her lover, a grin on her lips and slightly out of breath, though desperately tried to feign some form of calm. "A surprise!"

Elidi is indebted to Tamryn's embrace, her touch grounding the witch the moment her arms are around Elidi. She turns her head to rest her cheek against the Alpha's chest, focusing solely on the sound of Tamryn's heart beating. Part of her apologetic for her chaotic nature, though the moment her lover approached her the static energy in the air around Elidi dispersed, that much she could control. "I just didn't want to shock you, Red. Only reason I told you to stay, well that and possible danger..." Elidi muttered, digits tracing idly along the Alpha's spine, "I knew I was going to get angry.." However, with Tamryn's statement on her anger, Elidi's brows furrowed together leaning to press a playful nip to her neck. "I am calming down at least.." She retorted as she turned to press her cheek back to Tamryn's skin, hues lifting as the front door opens. Briefly, her brows rose in surprise upon seeing Kiki, though her temper is quick to make its return as she rises suddenly from the stool, the wood clattering to the floor loudly. "What happened? I told you to water plants and feed Binx, not create a mess!" Vexation smolders in her throat, eyes shutting tightly as she grabs hold of her emotions once more. Blue hues open to peer at the Wiccan, observant of her current state, the puffiness to her eyes, red and irritated to the tangled mess of her dark locks. "I don't care about the mess! That isn't why I'm angry." Elidi exhaled through her nose, reminding herself to focus. "Kiki, what's going on? This isn't like you to do something like this." There was no way Kiki had done this for no reason, despite what Tamryn said, Kiki wasn't a virulent human, Elidi had known plenty of those in her days. Her hand sought Tamryns, her grip tighter than usual while her hues refused to leave the wiccan, and having Tamryn by her side helped soothe the storm.
Tumblr media
Staying silent in the moment she focused more so on being calm and exerting a passive energy that Elidi would hopefully feel and let calm her. As her love rested her head against her chest she moved one hand up to caress her lover’s jawline fondly, attempting every calming touch she could to soothe the static energy she felt surfacing in her partner. Hearing her suddenly defend her reasoning behind telling her of all people to stay the proud she wolf huffed and shook her head softly,
“Mon amour I am not worried about that, I know you meant to be protective I love that about you, however I will never let you walk into danger by yourself. I will always be right there, protecting you as you protect me. As for hurting me, darling I may have soft and pretty features but I am far more resilient than I look. Never feel like you have to hide parts of who you are from me, I love you, and that means even the parts of you that you do not love within yourself. Your anger does not scare me, nor does the chance you could lose control of your power and hurt me. It takes a lot more than some sparks to hurt me. Plus, every time we touch I already feel the sparks between us so, I am sure I can handle a little more of it.”
She smarted with an arch to her elegant brow as she leaned down and kissed the top of her love’s head reassuringly. Feeling the nip against her neck her eyes shifted yellow almost against her will as she growled softly down at her lover with a wicked smile upon her red lips. Leaning into her love almost temptingly she eyed her lips for a moment before tilting her head,
“That’s good to hear, though if you nip at my neck one more time I don’t think I will be able to stay calm.”
Letting her love seek comfort in her arms once more the Alpha stood close to the witch and let her take as long as she needed to gather herself before figuring out what to do next. The moment Kiki entered the home Tamryn went defensive. Her body tensed as she let out a threatening growl. She didn’t react fully until Kiki stepped into the main room and spoke her lover’s name. Tamryn turned within seconds and was defensively in front of Elidi. She looked like an attack dog being held back by the simple fact Elidi didn’t tell her to attack. Her golden hues bore into the wiccan girl with intentions to inflict harm, and correct the disrespectful girl’s mentality the way she would a unruly wolf within her community.
The red head had her fangs bared and her claws ready though she was not down in an attack stance, she stood taller and almost unnatural still despite the rolling snarl coming from within her chest. She was furious and held back simply by the fact she respected Elidi enough to not break their promise, even though she felt it would have been justified. Rather than letting her Alpha nature take charge, she let Elidi speak and lead the situation by her own terms. Tamryn was merely there to prevent Kiki from coming any closer, and to literally toss the wiccan out if Elidi so much as gave her the look to do so.
Returning the grip with her own to reassure her love that she was there the Alpha focused on the wiccan once more. Her eyes still glowing yellow with the savage need to defend the woman she loved from the one who was in Tamryn’s eyes simply taking advantage of her. Another rolling snarl kept up from her throat as she thought of the ways she would enforce the reasons Kiki should learn to either respect or fear them both.
Tumblr media
She could feel the alphas eyes on her and knew the wolf was infuriated with her. However she didn’t pay mind to it as she was solely focused on Elidi. It hurt the wiccan to see her mentor so upset with her and she could only hope that Elidi could forgive her. “A lot happened....I have a lot to explain....I’m willing to accept any punishment you think I deserve....but for now could we sit down?” She knew that her legs wouldn’t hold her up when she got emotional. Following Elidi and Tamryn into the living room she furrowed her brows seeing the mess she’d left. At the time she hadn’t paid much attention to the chaos she’d created in the witches home. But now seeing the damage she felt even worse.
As she sat down across from the duo she found herself unable to look them in the eyes. Instead she stared down at her lap, which her hands were folded atop of. Taking a deep breath she pulled herself together and began explaining her past. Knowing that it was important they know her background. So they would understand what had just occured a few nights ago. She briefly talked about her picture perfect life and mentioned the professor. She could feel her hands trembling from just speaking his name. She hated this control he had over her, despite that she didn’t stop. Moving along she explained her struggles with activating the wand, how the night in the woods went down. What happened after getting caught, how the whole town turned against her. All about how she was tormented out of college and then the town, how she came to Tabula to escape. Throughout speaking she’d look up every now and again but then when she’d feel herself tearing up she’d stare back down and wipe at her eyes. The professor came back up and it was obvious that Kiki feared the man. Her bottom lip trembled whenever she spoke of him and she began fidgeting with her hands. It took everything in her to mention the rape and she was quick about it not wanting to linger on the topic. By the end of that she was proud of herself for not getting sick, not that she had anything on her stomach to throw up anyway. She’d only cried a bit and managed to hold herself together fairly well. Now came the hardest part, why she’d broken into Elidis home.
She kept her eyes locked on her fidgeting hands in her lap. She told the two about how the town turned against her family. How she was trying to get money to help them move to Tabula. She mentioned that’s why she was trying to sell charms to begin with. Admitted how foolish it was of her not to accept Tamryns help when she offered money, she had been stubborn. Managing to get all of that said without breaking into tears, she looked up momentarily as though to see if they were still listening. Seeing that their eyes seemed to be focused on her and looked back down. Kiki spoke of the text she had gotten from her mother and how she thought Elidi could teleport them their to save them. How when Elidi wasn’t home she panicked and decided to attempt the spell herself. She found the spell and gathered all of the items. A small sob escaped her lips when she admitted that she was too late. How her house was completely burned and her caregivers bodies were charred. The conversation she barely remembered with the cops and then how the professor showed up. Near the end she had started to cry and her breathing became ragged but she kept speaking despite all her stuttering. By the time she finished she was a blubbering, shaking mess. Refusing to look up she frantically tried wiping away at the tears that poured out of her eyes. “I....am...s...so...sorry...” she managed to gasp out a pitiful apology to the one who she’d hurt.

“I know, I am not the one to usually ask questions, I mostly get asked them given who I am. Plus, I feel that if there is anything you want me to know about you, you eventually talk about it. I like the sudden discoveries between us rather than knowing everything about you up front Mon amour. However, I am always wanting to know more about you, even though I feel I know you fairly well given what all we have shared with one another.”
Tamryn maintained a fond smile as she searched the beautiful features of her lovers face before meeting the kiss with a sense of eagerness. Leaning her head back against the headboard she exhaled softly as she let her fingertips run through Elidi’s hair aimlessly as her lover rested in the crook of her neck, letting out a soft huff like laugh she commented back,
“Are you really so quick to get back to Tabula Rasa? Relax Mon amour, that is all we have to do for the next three days.”
Thinking over some ideas of what they could do beyond being in the hotel and the beach the she wolf was mentally lost in thought and was not expecting the nip against the skin above her collar bone. Her fingers gripped Elidi’s hair and let out a playful growl as her eyes shifted yellow against her control for a moment before she recovered with a sly smirk as she locked eyes with the her lover,
“Mmm, I would only abuse it in the right ways darling.”
Tamryn arched a brow as she teased back, but became somewhat serious again as she wanted to still be clear,
“I would never intentionally do anything to abuse you in any sort of way, and I intend to ensure that others are incapable of abusing you as well. No one will hurt you as long as you are with me and I can prevent it.”
Hearing the whine she tilted her head thoughtfully and let Elidi sit up to get her drink, Tamryn looked over to her own glass which was near empty and decided to fill it only to nearly empty it in another long drink. Her gazed drifted to the screen as Elidi mentioned how she hadn’t been focused on the movie. The she wolf bit her lip for a moment before sitting up a bit more against the headboard,
“It’s fairly hard to focus on a romance movie when you have set this room up like one of our own. That and I honestly find it hard to focus on anything other than you as of late...”
Her focus shifted as she looked over the witch’s legs and arms seeing the slight tint to her skin, her own seemingly unphased by the sun despite how fair skinned she was, with a almost prideful grin she moved to be closer to her love, leaning in towards her ear some as she added,
“The beauty of being the beast. Tanning, and sunburns are in a sense skin damage, we recover even from that fairly quick. We can tan, and get burned eventually, we would have to sit in direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time to tan and, I don’t have that much free time really. I like my fair skin, it’s divine to a degree.”
Sitting up now she crossed her legs and sat facing Elidi as she gathered a few of the chocolates onto her own pillow, aimlessly arranging them in the shape of a small heart before taking one and opening it to eat. Arching a brow as Elidi suggested the aquarium she smiled but then gave her a look as she mentioned not wanting to control the trip,
“Eli, stop being so modest with me, at this point, you don’t have to be. I don’t see anything you do when taking the lead or taking charge as being controlling, which says a lot coming from me. I don’t often like letting other have control. I like that you are not shy to take control with me, I want you to be selfish with me and our relationship because I am doing the same. When I want to do something with you, we do it, even if you protest a bit at first. I want you to feel the same way. If you want something or want to do something simply mention it and it is yours, or ours. I see you as my Queen, not just my girlfriend or lover. So let me treat you as such, and by all means start to feel like such, specially when its just us here.”
With a faint smile she picked up one of the chocolate and unwrapped it while she spoke. Moving over the bed she straddled Elidi’s lap, being aware to hold herself up with her thighs so she didn’t touch the potential sunburns her lover had. Leaning down she held out the chocolate close to Elidi’s lips with a fond smile,
“I want to do the things you want to do. If that means sitting on the beach all day just so you can be near the ocean, then we by all means will do that. Or if you want to go to the Aquarium then we will do that as well. Even just sitting here, pretending to watch a movie while we enjoy this new territory together is enough. I know I seem very complexed to the public, but when it comes to you I am not. I just want to be near you, and do whatever it takes to maintain this happiness we have together.”
Tumblr media
Elidi listened intently as Tamryn spoke, her hues while attentive, soft as she gazed at the redhead. Her head shook slightly once Tamryn finished speaking, "You can know whatever it is you want about me, whenever you feel like knowing. I'll tell you anything." There was a small pause, as the witch pondered her words with deliberate consideration, "... From my childhood, teen years, all the way up to adulthood. Maybe we could make a night of that, hm?" Though when the duo tended to talk about their past, the tone always descended into a darker territory, but the end result brought them all the closer together. Elidi found solace in that.
Elidi's eyes slip shut as her lovers fingers comb through her hair, relishing in her touch, stirring only at the sound of her voice. Looking up at Tamryn's accusation, she's quick to shake her head to dismiss the comment, no matter if said in jest, "Of course not darling. Tabula can't hold a candle to you. We could be... just out and about on the streets and I'd still prefer it over Tabula. When I am with you, there is no greater place to be." She spoke matter pf factly, a wide grin on her lips before she scatters a trail of kisses along the Alpha's skin available to her. "I am plenty relaxed."
The grip on her hair, once placid, now firmly gripped darkened locks, Elidi's brows raising in surprise. Bright eyes take notice of the yellow hue in her lovers gaze, a side of Tamryn she wasn't all too familiar with, but enraptured with none the less. Only abuse it in the right way, huh? A smile covers her lips, adjusting quickly to press the tip of her nose against Tamryns, amused. "How cheeky." Though upon noticing the change in Tamryn's demeanour, she's quick to alter her own, "I know Red... and I hope you know the same. I never want to hurt you, and I would never intentionally do so. I want to be someone you can always rely on and come too with whatever you may need. I don't have a pack or as much authority as you in mattera of protection, but only the very best of my abilities to assure no harm will find its way to you."
Elidi rubbed the back of her head, sheepish and embarassed, she hadn't decorated the room entirely up to her standards, but if Tamryn liked it she supposed it was okay. She wanted nothing but the best for her amor. Listening as Tamryn explained her slight tolerance to the sun, Elidi let out a hum in thought, "I see... though I do agree completely. Your skin is divine. Heavenly. It makes it all the more tempting to mark." She faltered, "Not that it would stay."
Watchful hues observed as Tamryn sorted the little candies into a heart, a faint chuckle leaving her as she found the small act adorable. "Well... I know, I know. I just, want to make sure it is something you want to do too. Just off an assumption here, but I doubt you come to the beach much, so it is a rare occurence. I want to make the most of it, with as much as you're comfortable with."
Accepting the piece of chocolate, she grinned as she chewed, finding Tamryn much sweeter than the little treat. Her hands found their way around the redhead's waist, guiding her hips down to sit upon her thighs. "It won't kill me." Elidi teased, although entirely swooned at Tamryn's consideration of her burn. "Besides that is all I want to do, be near you." Digits idly toyed with the ends of her fiery red hair, brushing stray hairs from Tamryn's palid visage. "Maybe we can sit on the beach like you suggested earlier." Elidi turned her head to look out the balcony window, "Seeing as I dozed off once or twice there, by the time we get everything prepared, the sun should be setting."
She sat up partially, holding Tamryn securely in her lap as she pressed a lingering kiss to her lips, a small grin evident on her lips.
"Oh! We can even go for a walk on the beach, that's romantic. Isn't it?" The suggestion, albeit her own, seemed to perk her up significantly. "Then we can drink. See, I have now planned a proper evening. The aquarium can wait."

Wolf Comes Out Tonight||Open
Tamryn was pacing back and forth across her balcony, her eyes were their glowing yellow hue as she kept her strong gaze focused on the ground before her, she was growing restless. With certain things taking place and the LSA calling random meetings in the dead of night the she wolf was needing a night to let her wolf out in a sense. Suddenly an idea came to her mind and she turned from pacing to go and get ready.
Once she was ready she pushed open the double doors to her master bedroom and walked down the spiral stair case as she called out to the pack members within the compound,
“I feel like hitting up The Veil tonight, anyone wanting to join me has 10 minutes to be in the limo or you can catch your own rides there!”
She walked through the Compound as she called out to her people and then exited the front doors to get into the limo. Once the posse she was bringing piled in the headed off towards the Dance club. They pulled right up to the front of the establishment and Tamryn exited first, she waited for a moment to allow her team to exit the vehicle as well before they all entered the building. The moment the doors opened most eyes met with her and the wolves that were with her. She was radiating an energy that all the others could sense of feel in some way. Her golden yellow hues reflected against the flashing light of the dance floors and the main center performance stage. Tamryn located the bar and made her way towards it as she scanned the crowd to get a feel for its energy that night,
“it’s been a while since we’ve been out like this, I wonder what sort of party we can start up in here tonight.”

@xreznikovx
Her attention dropped to her knee the moment her lover’s hand was removed, she stared for a moment before her hues narrowed hearing Elidi’s words that followed. Looking to her partner as she spoke the she wolf remained silent though her eyes spoke on their own, with a brow arching at certain points that were made Tamryn for the most part actually took in what was being said though it didn’t sway her position on the matter. Once Elidi turned away from her entirely Tamryn felt a foreign pain that caused her to glance down for a moment before she looked back at her lover as she continued, interjecting casually at points,
“That is exactly what it sounded like when you said it. I never said not to feel bad for the loss of her family, by all means feel bad for her, that is terrible to have happen to anyone let alone family...”
She trailed off finally letting the witch speak without her adding in as Elidi suddenly touched on points that were reaching deeper. Her strong gaze remained focused on her lover as her resolve seemed to give with each moment that the other mentioned. The red head dropped her gaze, her stern expression finally giving as Elidi mentioned Tamryn not saying she loved her since the incident. The she wolf dropped her proud shoulders some as she looked away as well. Though her eyes suddenly seemed to narrow as Elidi then brought up her past and her sister.
Instead of speaking the alpha remained silent on the matter, not finding a reason to draw up more things for them to not see eye to eye on. Bringing her gaze back onto her love she scanned her features for a moment before dropping her line of sight down to Elidi’s hand against her bracelet. She inhaled softly before looking to her own bracelet upon exhale. Tamryn hated all of this deep down, how powerless she was towards her feelings.
Once they met each other’s gaze once more, and Tamryn saw the gloss in Elidi’s beautiful blue eyes she couldn’t remain unphased anymore. Her jawline tensed as she clenched her teeth together before her brows furrowed, tilting her head the way she did often for Elidi and Elidi alone though the look was pained. The alpha hated that she was the cause of Elidi being in any sort of distress, and she hated that this was where they had landed moments within getting back into the city.
Grateful that Elidi was the one to speak again she remained silent as she listened further, her expression no longer hardened against the emotions she was feeling. Despite how she kept telling herself to be guarded she deep down didn't want to be, the she wolf wanted to jump into her lover’s arms but her pride kept her seated by her side and rigid in appearance beyond the softening in her features. As she was about to respond the boxes were set in her lap, she seemed to freeze upon the words Elidi said. Slowly she opened the wrapped one and lifted the bottle carefully out  to see what it held within it. Her jaw unhinged in awe before her whole demeanor seemed to tank in sadness.
She held the bottle close to her heart for a moment as she stayed silent for a moment before suddenly setting it carefully back into the box and setting both boxes down by her side. She stood and stepped in front of Elidi before she moved to sit in her lap like she would often when attempting to get her focus entirely in the moment. Carefully she placed both her hand onto the sides of her love’s jawline and lifted her eyes to meet her own as she leaned in enough to bring them eye to eye. Her own blue hues glossed over as well though tears would not dare to fall from her eyes as she maintained such a focus on her love,
“I love you, so intensely Eli, that it honestly scares me. It really felt like you were saying sorry for our love in that moment. I’ve never been in this situation with someone I care so deeply about. I’m not going to say sorry for how I reacted, because I am not sorry for it. I felt discarded in the moment, regardless if that was your intent or not, that is how it came off to me in the moment.”
“I am sorry for not saying I love you, never once did me not saying the words mean I didn’t mean them when they were said, or that my love had faded by at any capacity because it hasn’t. I only was distant because I was unsure what to do, feeling like that trip was something you were sorry for made me hurt in ways I didn’t think would be possible. I never want to feel that feeling again, but I also never want to see you like this and know that I am the source behind it again.”
“You never have to ask how I feel, because you know deep down how I feel. I told you that I love you, and I have never felt like this with anyone before and I mean it. Plus, these really do work, better than I think we both want them too really.”
She smirked and reached down between them to lift their hands with the bracelets together, interlacing their fingers as she did so and holding firmly as if to reinforce the words she had stated prior. Her smirk remained a moment longer before she leaned down and placed a careful kiss against her love’s forehead,
“What do we have to do to move past this? I’ve never been here before, but I want to reconcile. I miss you, and your scent, and your embrace, and your smile.”
With her words Tamryn suddenly reached over with her free and and pulled the bottle out of the open box and held it up between them,
“I love you, and I love this. This is my new favorite thing, how did you even make it? You don’t have to tell me, but I really do love it, and you have no idea what it means to me... What all of it has meant to me. What you mean to me... Thank you.”
Tumblr media
Elidi attempted a neutral expression as Tamryn opened up the box, the one gift she had chickened out in giving her on her Birthday. Yet seeing the Alpha press it to her chest, Tamryn's usual impartial countenance seemingly crumpled upon opening, Elidi felt her heart ache all the more. She wanted nothing more than to embrace her, but given the response she received when she touched her knee, she refrained, fiddling with the end of her shirt instead. Heedful hues watched as Tamryn stood and briefly she's worried she's said the wrong thing, said too much, not enough even, only to exhale as Tamryn seats herself in her lap like she usually would.
Her cheek leaned into her lover's touch, brows furrowing together, though she's nothing but relieved just to have her touch. "I would never be apologetic about our love. Just like you, this entire situation is foreign to me, I've never cared this intensely for anyone ever before. As I told you before, I couldn't do that to you, disregard you, send you away. You're not someone who just keeps me company or warms my bed, I love you and you alone." Elidi felt as if she could finally breathe, a weight lifted off her chest as Tamryn seemed to finally break and settle comfortably against her. Only then did she settle her arms around the redhead's waist, her hold a little tighter than usual, drawing her closer to her frame.
Listening to how her words made Tamryn feel, her brows drew together, a frown twisting at her lips. "You know I would never intentionally hurt you." Elidi had noticed Tamryn's reluctance to say it over texts, she thought about confronting the redhead then but decided it was best to do it in person. Idly her thumb brushed along Tamryn's waist as she pondered, "I could feel your pain mi amor, as soon as I said the words, as soon as you stood up. I wanted to rush out after you... but I couldn't be selfish in that moment." She's filled with gratitude to just hold the Alpha's hand, lips pressing to her knuckles as she so often did.
Elidi followed Tamryn's gaze to the jewelry dangling around their wrists, a faint amused chuckle escaping her as she nodded in agreement. "Yes, at least they work..."
Her forehead dropped against Tamryn's collarbone, tilting to nestle into the crook of her neck, lips pressing delicately to her pulse point. "I want nothing more than to just put this behind us, just say the words mi amor, and we don't have to discuss this any further. As long as you know where I stand. I'm devoted entirely to you..."
Her heart thumped loudly in her chest, euphoric just to hear those words depart her lips once more, overly elated she could burst. Bright eyes stared at the bottle as Tamryn presented it to them both, recalling the various mason jars she shattered trying to command the lightning inside. She was starting to wonder if she was accident prone, as she had narrowly escaped receiving yet another scar. Again. "I know it's a fairly simple gift, but gods it was a pain to get the bolts to stay inside." Elidi desisted, her head tilting as she spoke, thoughtful, "... And don't open it. Unless you want lightning."
"You don't have to thank me. I'm... ecstatic to just speak warmly with you again, I was so worried I had already fucked things up." Elidi let her head fall back against the bench, her shoulders dropping as she visibly relaxed, "I wanted to cry." She admitted with a faint laugh, letting her hues lift upward to the blue sky, a pleasantly sunny day. If only for a moment as she finds her gaze back on Tamryn, a smile crossing her lips, as it usually did when she was around her. "I love you."

Her strong gaze seemed to soften with the words spoken to her, though in the back of her mind she was still uncertain just how much she would be willing to tell the detective honestly. That uncertainty seemed to fade upon hearing the nickname she had grown to prefer coming from the witch specifically. The way Elidi said it almost always caused Tamryn’s inner wolf to surface. Given how close they were standing Tamryn let out a playful growl of approval to the name as her eyes shifted to their vibrant yellow hue.
The Alpha swayed in her stance some before she looked back at the body, she tilted her head looking back at Elidi and shrugged her shoulders slightly to cause the Jacket to slip off her shoulders. Keeping eye contact in a challenging way she tossed the lion’s jacket onto the remains and held out her hand to the detective with an arched brow and a devious smile,
“First, give me your jacket..”
While Tamryn herself didn’t mind her body and was used to being exposed due to her nature as a werewolf, she was more so trying to remain modest due to the circumstances. Though the thought of walking back to the compound in some dead Were’s jacket when she clearly had better options seemed counter productive to her in a way. Deep down she preferred to be covered in Elidi’s scent in that moment than the Lion’s like she currently was. Once she was given what she wanted the she wolf turned on her heel and flipped her red hair out from under the jacket collar before she started to lead the way. As they walked a few wolves ran past them, heading to the location of the lion to handle the mess left behind.
The walk from the woods to the Compound was not long, once the stepped onto the grounds of the pack Tamryn seemed to relax a bit more. She walked through the Compound and entered the Mansion, paying no mind to the other Weres and Supes that occupied the packs home on what seemed to be a 24 hour basis. She stayed focused on the path she was taking until they made it into the hallway leading to the corridor of guest rooms with her master bedroom at the end of the hallway. Tamryn pushed open the double doors to her bedroom and stepped aside for Elidi to enter. She stood there for a moment before moving to her dresser and pulling out a pair of athletic tights and pulling them on to at least not be as exposed as she was before. The she wolf moved to stand in front of the detective, placing her hands in their usual places upon the witch’s shoulders,
“It goes without saying that you can make yourself at home, but I will say it still. You can use my shower or bath if you wish, and clean clothes will be in the dresser or wardrobe over there. I will get someone to wash your clothes for you while we talk..I will go get us wine while you get clean, though I don't exactly mind you looking like this, it’s wildly attractive..”
Tumblr media
Without thinking too long on it, she shrugged out of her coat, somewhat averse as her jacket was in no better condition than Lothars. None the less she supposed hers was a better option than his. Luminous hues followed the path of the discarded material, tossed onto the remnants of the lion. Elidi observes the scene once more before trailing after the alpha, rubbing her shoulder as she did.
As she's walking alongside Tamryn, her contemplation flickers to her surroundings, her attention altering to the small pack of wolves that ran past. Elidi pauses in her tracks, watching them disappear through the trees and out of sight, remembering as much about the wolves individualities as she could. Her illicit crime now including three more individuals, a low sigh emits from her, for once her aura radiated with distress, anxious despite Tamryn's reassurance. She trusted the alpha, not the underlings. Despite the natural rankings of a pack, all it took was one individual to create an entirely new mess.
Once inside the compound her focus was mostly on getting to a room to clean herself up and out of these clothes. Amused by Tamryn's comment once they were alone, her brow quirked to the Alpha, her head tilting slightly, "As irresistible as I may seem in this moment..." Her volume tapered off, a mirthful grin pulling at her lips followed by a faint laugh, "I hate it." She felt anything but attractive, covered in her own blood and his, a stain on the earth she'd like to wash off down the drain.
Looking through the wardrobe she picks something casual, with it being Tamryn consisted of black athletic tights and a red colored tank top. Attempts are made not to spend too long in the shower, observing the array of shampoos and body washes Tamryn had, overall just pleased to be underneath the warm spray of water, ridding herself of the lion once and for all.
Unsure how long she's been in the shower, she's quick to dry off and dress, towel drying her hair as she opens the door. Her bloodied clothes in hand, folded and set aside for someone to come and fetch. Elidi sits on the edge of Tamryn's bed, exhaling a deep sigh of relief, tossing herself back onto the pillows. "Finally."

Remember the time you drove all night Just to meet me in the morning? And I thought it was strange, you said everything changed You felt as if you just woke up
And you said "This is the first day of my life I'm glad I didn't die before I met you But now I don't care, I could go anywhere with you And I'd probably be happy"

They say that we're out of control and some say we're sinners
But don't let them ruin our beautiful rhythms
'Cause when you unfold me and tell me you love me
And look in my eyes
You are perfection, my only direction

Tamryn stood still as she could see that she had been noticed, she lowered to the earth more to better mask her scent though she knew the Werelion had already picked up her scent in the changing wind. Her ears fell back seeing that just the chance of being watched seemed to redirect the detective’s motives. The she wolf growled low but remained hidden as she watched the witch lean against the tree. The smell of blood only masked faintly in the shallow rainfall, but Tamryn was still focused on it for some reason. Once the beast was cuffed she realized the chance of seeing Elidi actually do something had passed. With a clearly frustrated growl she stepped out from the shadows to reveal herself She stood taller and in a regal manner as she stared directly at the witch, almost as if trying to allow her the chance to recognize her if she could.
The she wolf was uncertain how the auras worked, and if her aura was noticeable even as a wolf. But she maintained eye contact in a way that was clearly a Tamryn trait. Tamryn stayed still for a moment before her attention shifted to the Were. She stepped onto the back of the handcuffed being with her front paws, and lowered her head so she could sense if his heart was still beating or not, Hearing it faint and almost slowing she didn’t bother to get off the beast as  she lifted her head slowly  so that Tamryn was now as close to eye level with Elidi as she could be.
Tamryn growled softly but then let out a whine as her tail wagged somewhat before the Alpha let out a woof like huff that almost sounded like she was somewhat huffing at the comment of the individual falling. The look in the wolf’s eyes showed a look of hunger but also concern and control. Once she felt she had done the most she could to try and make Elidi aware of who she was short of shifting to her human appearance the wolf’s gaze seemed to focus more so on the blood.
Tumblr media
Elidi watched as the wolf padded forward, holding an unblinking gaze, causing the witch to exhale a laugh which made her wince in turn. Her necessity for silence in tracking him down, made the hunt all the more difficult for Elidi, a lion would not submit easily, even when cornered. There's a gash from one of his claws along her temple, barely avoidable, still evidently bleeding, "almost got my other eyebrow..." She muttered to herself, amusedly at that a laugh leaving her. "Shit."
There's a shift in her personality, as her indignation towards him slowly subsides. The rain slows to a halt, having washed away the evidence, the blood, all except the open wound.
"I am surprised, your fur isn't red." Elidi spoke finally acknowledging Tamryn's state, her line of sight lingering on crimson injuries. Attempts were made to identify the wolf by aura, however she only catches glimpses of that fiery hue, the shortcoming blamed on exhaustion. "Is it my blood that you smell, or his?" The witch paused, to wet her lips as her head lolled back against the trunk of the tree. With her mind hazy from a long night, she couldn't remember proper werewolf identifcations, tellings, facts. It was all a murky haze. She began to wonder if he had hit her head at one point..
Surely power had to alter the scent of ones blood, by species even. That sounded correct, familiar. "Does it make you hungry?" Her hand outstretched toward Tamryn, as if to touch the wolf's muzzle, or perhaps testing her scent theory. Either way, her hand falls back to her side, she didn't feel like getting bitten today.
"I'll get up soon, just five more.." Her gaze fell to the watch on her wrist, which had a large forked crack veining across the surface. The light up interface remaining shut off, even with her various tappings. "...." Incandescent hues fell on the unconscious lion, a sudden kick delivered to his leg. He merely grunted in response. "Asshole... Well, now is as good a time as any." Maybe she'd eat him and not have to haul him back with her.

warm sunny days
@xreznikovx
Weeks pass before Elidi has another day off again, five consecutive days off instead of her usual one day. Though the witch suspects Tamryn had something to do with that. Despite Elidi's protesting they still ended up taking Tamryn's private jet to Miami, where a hotel on the beach had already been booked for them. Not that the witch intended on spending much time in the hotel, still, she was in awe of the hotel's atmosphere. The interior was nicely decorated in the lobby and dining area, but their room was her favorite part.
The majority of their quarters was fair in color, pristine, worrying Elidi who only hoped not to make a mess or track sand everywhere in this cultivated establishment. The bedroom was soft tan tones, accompanied by pale blue hues, a charming replica of the ocean's water, and the sandy ground, along with a nice view of the ocean. Naturally one of Elidi's only request was a room with a view, close to the waters. Now alone with Tamryn, and their bags set aside, Elidi wrapped the redhead up in her arms, pressing multiple kisses to the woman's cheek, practically radiating with delight. "It is so pretty here, Red! I love it!"
The moment is short-lived, Elidi stepping away from Tamryn to change into her swimwear. She wears a black cover-up over her swimsuit, with her sunglasses, pushed up onto the top of her head, and sandals. Momentarily she wonders if she should remove her bracelet, not wanting the waters to mess with the crystal, but summarized it should be safe enough. Elidi hummed happily to herself, as she gathered the necessary materials they would need for their day on the beach.
The duo moves down the designated pathway from their room to the beach, Elidi carrying an ice chest in her hands, as well as a few bags draped across her shoulders.  Every once in a while as they walk along the sand, Elidi shoots a look to Tamryn from over her shoulder, a wide grin on her lips. Tamryn however is starting to look less than pleased, Elidi making a mental note to question the redhead later.
Thankfully not too far from the resort, a stand is set up where they are selling canopies. Elidi quick to purchase one before Tamryn can beat her to it. With the canopy rented for the day, and already graciously set up by the vendors, Elidi discovers the rental comes up with two beach chairs and a few towels. Once inside the tent, Elidi is all too grateful to dump their belongings from her back, exhaling a sigh of relief as she turned to face the currents.
Wordlessly she stared out at the waters, her hands on her hips, satisfied to listen to the sound of the waves crashing into the shore and seagulls chirping above. Untying the cover-up from around her waist, she shrugged the lacy material off, tossing it onto of the empty chairs. Underneath she wore a sky blue bikini, her dominant hand moving to clip her hair up into a messy bun. Walking out from underneath the tent, she cast a glance from side to side, noting there were only a few people around, one consisting of a family, and the other a group of what appeared to be young adults.
Her arms stretched out to her sides, taking in the warmth of the sun, briefly, her gaze lifted to the sky where finally her lids drifted shut. She felt connected with the blazing heat above, which she assumed was because of that fateful day she received her upgraded abilities. No one needed to tell her that somehow that deity was related to the sun.
Her scar was on full display for Tamryn. True to her word the scarring did cover the majority of her back, up to the base of her nape, imitating that of a lightning strike, where branches forked off to trail along the veins that would be visible in one's backside.
Elidi glanced over her shoulder to the redhead, before turning and stretching her arm out to the alpha, her fingers wiggling as she waited for Tamryn to take her hand. Though, her head tilted, her gaze searching Tamryn's eyes almost curiously, "I noticed when I first mentioned the beach you tensed up, quite dramatically, but you didn't shoot me down. So... I thought perhaps it was alright."
The witch paused, walking back toward the alpha in somewhat of a hurry, the sand hot beneath her bare feet. "Are you nervous? Is it the sand, or the heat? There aren't that many people around either... and the birds won't bother you." Elidi attempted reassurances, her lips pursing in thought. Abruptly, she recalls Tamryn informing herself of one of her most fatal scars, the sound of rushing water quickly fills Elidi's ears, something then plunged inside the depths. It's enough to snap her from her thoughts, a frown stretching across her lips as realization finally hits, "You don't like the water."
Suddenly feeling very inconsiderate, she found herself stammering, holding Tamryn's hands firmly in her own. "You could've told me no, querida. I wouldn't have minded... oh, I was so distracted by the thought of going to the beach I didn't really notice until we were here. Though I did observe the closer we got to the ocean the more... your expression seemed to falter." The witch paused, leaning in to press a reassuring kiss to the alpha's forehead, "I won't let anything happen to you."

Lifting herself from the witch’s side to allow her to stretch fully the Alpha let her gaze drift over Elidi’s form as she stretched, admiring the shape of her body before her focus was redirected when Elidi took her by the chin and guided her into a kiss. The she wolf leaned up more, meeting the kiss eagerly before pulling back with slight reluctance,
“Considering you stayed the whole night, yes I did sleep well, how about you? how are you feeling?”
Her tone went from light to concerned somewhat as her eyes scanned over Elidi’s face, lingering on the wound to her head before meeting her eyes once more, at least the one who caused this damage even if it was moderate was dead now. Her thoughts faded as she focused on Elidi’s touch against her cheek. Tamryn leaned her head into Elidi’s palm, her bright blue hues stayed transfixed on the woman laying there with her. The suggestion of being lazy for the day was in line with what the she wolf had in mind With a soft smile she laid back against the pillows as Elidi adjusted to lay facing her. Looking up at the ceiling she exhaled softly before looking over at the beauty by her side,
“We do not have to leave this room, or this bed if you do not wish too. I don’t mind what we do as long as it is together. When you are with me, we go at our own pace, no one else's... I have no expectations Eli, of us or what it is we do together. With you, the calm is just as exciting and the storm is, at least to me it is.”
Like a magnetic pull Tamryn’s hand found Elidi’s and their fingers interlocked as her gaze remained focused on the witch’s face. Taking in how she looked as she was waking up, even then Tamryn was almost in a state of awe however the question of liking bracelets pulled her once again from her trance, with a curious brow lift she responded,
“Mon chéri I love anything that can be considered fashion or jewelry. However that is a very specific question to ask, why?”
Tumblr media
Noticing where Tamryn's gaze lingered, her free hand moved to the slash on her face, digits pressing into the wound that had already begun to scab. "Oh... that. I'll make a salve later to help speed up the healing process. I am contemplating wearing a mask from now on, to avoid any further injury to my beautiful face." Elidi spoke in feign seriousness, barely finishing her sentence before she giggled amused by her own comment. "... It wouldn't be a bad idea I suppose. Unattractive, but beneficial in other areas."
Watching Tamryn lay back against the pillows, a blissful smile curved at her lips. How mystifying that yesterday, and all the confessions that came with the night seemed eons away. Words and actions of the past, actions she was willing to let go of, paths where Elidi hoped they would both not have to divert too again. Her brows furrowed in thought. Maybe she should make a promise to Tamryn as well. Her own misconduct could get the alpha in trouble all in the same.
Drawn from her thoughts, she nodded in agreement with the red heads words. "Ah I couldn't have said it better. I think," She began, rolling onto her stomach while moving closer to her companion, "We should relax if just a few minutes more.. then we can do some of this fun you keep telling me about." Tamryn would never have to experience any storm conjured their way as long as Elidi could prevent it. Or... wasn't the cause.
Pleased with Tamryn's answer regarding the jewelry, she shook her head firmly while pretending to zip her lips shut. Closing the gap between them, she pressed a chaste kiss to the wolf's top lip. "It is a surprise, now that I am sure you'll like it."

@xreznikovx
The red head smiled as Elidi admitted that she may have been a big exaggerated when she spoke, the romantic notion still held it value to the she wolf none the less. Willingly she let the witch pull her down as well, naturally laying upon her chest like she would if they were within their beds she laid almost silent for a moment just enjoying the feeling of being in Elidi’s protective hold.
“That is comforting considering you are like wise my only exception. I would break every law and pack rule to be by your side, always.”
There was no need for her to explain her words for the way she stated them showed she was direct in meaning. Tamryn already had shown countless times Elidi held position within her heart above most others. It was almost an innate response from the she wolf, who was blind to the actual reasoning behind it.
Content to just lay in her lover’s arms the alpha stayed silent and focused more so on the sound of Elidi’s heart under her ear rather than the ways that lapped at their legs. Finding a sense of comfort and peace in that steady rytym the she wolf closed her eyes and simply enjoyed the feeling of being in her lovers strong hold. There were few Tamryn felt safe in the arms of, and Elidi was one of the few people she got that sensation from.
It was in the moment she was almost lulled to sleep by the even heart beat that she noticed it suddenly elevate. Not only had she heard the pounding in the witch’s heart she felt the intense emotion through the bracelet as well. The red head almost reacted but them remained still. For some reason the feeling she suddenly felt was entirely familiar and the fact she recognized it caused her to almost freeze in the moment as well. She remained still in the moment as she suddenly heard Elidi speak. She tensed hearing the phrase being but before her lover could finish a gust picked up and disrupted the words.
The whole time Tamryn only tucked her head into Elidi’s chest more, allowing her to shield them both from the sand that picked up in the wind. She could still hear her heart racing, which caused her own hear to race. The she wolf could only focus on what she thought Elidi was about to say. Feeling the kiss placed to her forehead she leaned into it for a moment before catching Elidi by the back of her neck carefully in order to keep them face to face,
“I don’t care about the sand, or the water right now, you..are you okay? Your heart is racing and I can feel, something intense coming from you...What were you going to say before the wind picked up, you what?”
Tumblr media
Elidi took solace in Tamryn's declaration, the assertion enough to soothe her racing heart if only a second more as that feared question leaves Tamryn's lips. She knew. Her attention deterred from Tamryn's hues, finding it challenging to meet the Alpha's gaze in the moment, and no escape with her hand pressed firmly to her nape. Elidi was by no means shy nor timorous, yet the warmth flushing her skin was not brought on by the sun, which only made her inwardly fret all the more. All the while she kept a neutral expression on her face somehow, all aside from her reddening cheeks.
Mentally her brain screamed to make up some sort of lie, what she had really meant to say was I lo... LO? What words started with L O to make a convincing statement!? Tamryn would know if she was lying, if not for the bracelets then intuition alone would be enough to suffice. Nervously she bit the inside of her cheek, usually when she was this agitated she'd bite her nails, but seeing as her hands were occupied elsewhere, and given the redhead's close proximity, that option remained out.
At war with herself, the witch realizes she's been silent for far too long, staring like a deer caught in the headlights. She blinks, averting illuminated orbs to the ocean's waves, "It really isn't the time Red.." She began delicately, hues flickering back to hold her gaze while her heart pounded unnecessarily fast in her chest. "Not that I don't...I just - you're doing something entirely out of your comfort zone for my own happiness."
The more she spoke of the situation, the easier she found it to talk about her emotions, rosy faced and all. "It's the beach, the sun, and you. Three major factors in my life in some shape, way or form. Merely lying here with you made me realize I wouldn't want to be here with anyone else, I don't want to sit in sand with anyone else." She laughed faintly, leaning to drop her forehead delicately against Tamryns. "I ... I love you." Elidi spoke softly, moving to press her palm to her cheek, cradling her face delicately, "I'm not... embarassed to say it, at least not in that way. I just don't want to ruin what we have by saying something foolishly early."
With the sun's rays warming her skin and the sound of the ocean in her ears, the elements gave her the necessary boost of encouragement to carry on. "Being here, getting to experience this with you seems so... unrealistic for me. There have been multiple occasions in my lifetime where I've thought, I'll never be happy, I won't get to know that feeling, not to its true extent. For my own personal beliefs, faults and crimes. Here I am in spite of those lingering thiughts, blissfully plessed," She paused to drop a kiss to the tip of Tamryn's nose than the corner of her lips, a smile stretched across her own pinkened lips, "and I am, undeniably happy, smitten and hopelessly in love with you, Red."

The trip to the beach with Tamryn had been like a dream, even more and she never wanted to wake up. Unfortunately like all good things their trip came to an end. Elidi couldn’t bare the thought of being away from Tamryn, at least not so soon after such a heavenly vacation. She’s elated when Tamryn agrees to come back home with her, wanting to be alone with the witch as much as Elidi wanted to be alone with the Alpha. The ride back to Tabula isn’t long, filled with laughter and declarations of love so long as the Alpha wasn’t annoyed with her antics.
Elidi eyed the luggage, glad this was the final time she had to haul them items anywhere. “As fun as that was I’m sort of happy to be home, mostly sad seeing I don’t get you all to myself anymore.” The ice chest is dropped by her feet as she fumbles for her keys, hues lifting up to the door knob, her brow quickly furrowing as she notices the door is not shut entirely. Certain she had locked the door, the items that resided on her shoulders and in her hands fell noisily to the pavement. Elidi turned to face Tamryn, looking about her yard, assured there was no immediate danger outside. Pushing the door open, she crosses the threshold, hues scanning the walls for any other presence aside from the couples. Finding nothing she’s all too relieved as Binx pads over, brushing against her ankles. The witch exhales a sigh as she crouches to pet the tubby cat, her head tipping as she looks up to Tamryn. “Stay.. right here just in case.” Attempting to be as quiet as possible, she turns the knob as she shuts the door, finally turning to observe the rooms.
While still searching for other auras, the first thing she notices is the books scattered about the floor, none of the books looked damaged bit they were clearly looking for something. The witch approached one of the novels, holding it in her grasp as she continued to survey the area. Elidi inhaled deeply from her nose, wrathful vehemence itching along her spine, creeping up her neck, intertwining to heat her visage. Digits are quick to move to her nape, digging into the skin there as she wills herself to calm. Aside from the bookshelf being ransacked, a few of her plants had been toppled over, ceramic from the pots in pieces on the wood floors. Her gaze stoic as she examines the greenery in front of her feet. Hues lift to stare down the hallway to her bedroom, the door open to her quarters.
Dropping the novel her pace is quick as she enters her room, suddenly alarmed. She kept the stronger spells in her room, where she finds a similar scene, more broken pots, tossed books. Briefly she’s confused, all the wards she’s set in place are still active, aside from an alter, though it held no purpose other than aesthetics. Even if this person were a skilled magika, one of them were bound to activate. Her mind travels back to the door, she hadn’t located any signs of forced entry, no broken windows, the door hadn’t been forced open even. Static emits off her shoulders as she stared blankly at the shelves, her hands now balled into fists at her sides.
Elidi turns walking from her chambers, glowering as her mind tosses theories here and there. The only other person who had a key was Kiki, she had yet to make Tamryns. Lightning illuminated frequently in the air around her, the further her thoughts trailed into that of betrayal, she had trusted her. The witch stays, looming in the darkened hallway, all but her illuminated energy and eyes that sought Tamryn’s in the dim lighting. “Kiki.”
As if on queue her phone chimes, Elidi set on ignoring it, but the insistent pings cause her to huff as she fetches the device, reading the short messages. Light emits from her palm, not wanting to short fuse her phone she growls as she sets the device on the kitchen island, unlocked for Tamryn to read Kiki’s apologetic messages. “Got damn it.” She paces the floor as her mind wanders, unaware of the storm brewing outside, finding it difficult to soothe her trepidation. “How – can she want me to listen to her right now….I-I mean sure she isn’t the malicious type but even this seems a little… unnecessary. It’s out of character, something happened,” A loud crack of thunder causes her to jump, the witch moving to take a seat on one of the stools in the kitchen, “need to calm down first…there are explanations for everything.”
Tumblr media
While the trip seemed to only solidify the bond the two women had, Tamryn was more than happy to be back within the familiar sights and sounds of Tabula Rasa. As Elidi carried their luggage Tamryn huffed playfully and walked behind her somewhat to almost admire the fact she always did the heavy lifting though Tamryn offered many times that she would help. Upon hearing her love’s words of no longer having her to herself the she wolf growled almost in protest,
“Love, you get me all to yourself no matter where we are. Whenever you want me you simply have to text me and I will be on my way within moments.”
Distracted entirely by her lover, still thinking about all they had experienced together while on their little get away. The alpha was entirely devoted to the woman who stood there fumbling for her keys. Lost in the new found love Tamryn had not been alerted to the fact the door was left open, only when Elidi seemed to become alert did Tamryn break from her swooned mentality.
Locking eyes with Elidi she knew right away that something was off and she turned to look the opposite direction Elidi did as she drew out her claws as she looked ready to defend and protect, whichever came first. The moment her love opened the door ad stepped inside Tamryn was right there by her side almost like a guard dog, she was attentive to everything, her eyes scanned as well as she stood somewhat offset from her lover. Her gaze dropped the moment the cat moved within their line of sight, she growled but caught it in her throat once she noticed it was the cat and not some small threat. Upon seeing Elidi bend to pet the cat she stayed alert and defensive though when her love told her to stay she tilted her head giving her a challenging look,
“I will forget the fact you just told me to stay, because I know what you mean by it, however there is no way in hell I am letting you go in there alone. Together, remember.”
Her words were not stated as a question more so as a matter of fact and she left no room for negotiation or argument. Allowing Elidi to take the lead she simply stayed close enough to defend her if she were ambushed turning a corner. The alpha maintained guard over her lover as she looked over the books, her eyes focused in the opposite directions that Elidi looked at all times, alert with her hearing and sense of smell, she inhaled deep before look around once more with a low growl,
“I don’t hear any heartbeats nor can I smell anyone that wouldn’t have access to the house..the most recent scent is Kiki’s which is a given..”
The moment Elidi’s wrath seemed to surface Tamryn felt it and rather than draw attention to it she seemed to keep her silent focus on her lover, observing her response to the situation with a bit more interest now. She had been experiencing a lot of Elidi’s emotional range as of late yet what she was feeling now was almost intriguing to the she wolf for she had never felt Elidi having emotions like the ones she was displaying in that moment.
Seeing her love rush towards the bedroom Tamryn stayed in the main room and crossed her arms, smelling that no one was there she watched as Elidi seemed to come across another scene within her own room. The red head stepped closer to the hallway before she stopped slowly seeing Elidi exit the room and met her gaze she felt the betrayal Elidi had surfacing as well as the wrath. Tamryn’s eyes involuntarily shifted yellow in response to the feeling as she growled low hearing the cause of everything.
“Why does that not surprise me, can I just eat her and save us-”
The tone of Elidi’s phone caused her to stop short as she arched a brow seeing her eventually cave and read the messages being sent to her back to back. The she wolf stood a little closer now but waited fr Elidi to respond, her eyes more so focused on her lover and reading the rise in her anger. She took notice to the electricity surfacing from Elidi’s palm,
 “Darling, don’t melt your phone.”
“She is clearly using you for your magic Eli, I knew the moment I caught her selling it on the streets, you really think it is beyond a human to do this kind of thing. Something will happen, to her, Nobody does this kind of thing to you and assumes they can just-”
The crack of thunder caused her to duck before looking towards the back door and seeing the storm surfacing outside. For a good moment she actually stood there and contemplated whether or not to fuel this storm rising within her lover just to see what would come of it. Though when she looked at Elidi jump at the sound of her own thunder Tamryn suddenly got a change of perception. As her lover sat on the bar stool Tamryn pulled it closer to her and hugged her arms around the witch in efforts to help calm her storm.
Tamryn rested her head upon Elidi’s and ran her fingers through her hair comfortingly before refocusing her own aggression towards the matter, trying to be calm enough for it to cancel out Elidi’s building wrath. Hugging her with as much comfort as she could,

Hugging her with as much comfort as she could,  “Exactly, perhaps something did happen... and she has reason. Though do not feel like you have to respond to her now or even today Love. I do agree you need to calm down, although I am kind of liking the feelings I am getting from you. Rage looks pretty attractive on you... but as much as I like it I want to help you, so just breathe and focus on me until you can calm down enough to figure out if you even want to hear her out or not.”

It had been a few days since the fire happened and Kiki had stayed cooped up in her apartment, mainly her room. She kept her distance from Kasumi because she wasn’t ready to explain everything to him yet. Stan would regularly check up on her and was keeping tabs to make sure the wiccan was safe. She’d barely eaten or drank within those few days for she didn’t have the energy or will to do so. Texting her work, the benefits of being friends with the boss played in as she got some time off. Most of her day was spent curled up on her bed sobbing on and off. Attempting to sleep though she was haunted with nightmares and vivid flashbacks. Elidi hadn’t texted her in all that time and she wondered if the witch was ignoring her. The guilt over wrecking her dear friend and mentors home had been eating away at her. Finally gathering the energy and courage she texted Elidi in hopes she’d hear her out.
Setting her phone down she thought of how Elidi must have felt walking into her home being a complete mess. The more she thought the worse she felt. Finally without even waiting for a response she grabbed her car keys and headed to the witches house. Surprisingly not getting into an accident on her way there as her focus most definitely wasn’t on the road or her surroundings. It wasn’t until she pulled up and saw the darker tone of the sky that she realized something was going on. Getting out of her punch buggy she walks to the door which was already cracked open. “Elidi?” Slipping into the house she called out for her teacher. Furrowing her brows as she hears the sound of two voices coming from the kitchen. She slowly makes her way over and looks surprised to see both Tamryn and Elidi. However her attention focused solely on the witch as she stood there. Both of them didn’t look happy and Kiki knew why. “Elidi....I’ll clean up the mess and I can pay for anything I damaged but please hear me out....” her voice was hoarse from all the crying she’d done. Eyes puffy , bags under her eyes, her hair was a tangled mess, and she was still in her pajamas.

The Alpha was glad that the Supernatural Festival went without any serious incident but she still have a lot on her mind from things that had unfolded while she was present nearly everyday of the Festival. She needed to run, and instead of calling the pack together for a pack run she woke early in the morning before the sunrise and went for a run by herself. Tamryn waited until she was deep within the woods to shift, folding her clothes into a neat pile to return to later she turned into her white wolf form and took off through the trees. She ran with intention but no real direction. She was simply trying to just out run the racing of her thoughts and touch roots with her instincts once more.

Hearing the statement of not being fond of the moon seemed to cause the she wolf to frown in thought, however beyond the reaction she didn’t voice anything towards the subject her focus stayed on the witch by her side, her interest taken by what was being told to her. She knew prior that blue was her color, but pink was something that caused Tamryn to tilt her head in curiosity of the choice. Even with her being girlie to an extent, pink was not a color that she favored often.
Her eyes followed Elidi’s as she noticed her hand move tracing her fingertips around the rim of the glass, it seemed to hold Tamryn’s focus longer than she intended it too though hearing the honesty behind why Elidi wanted to work in the field she had chosen caused the red head to look up at her and shift how she was sitting to face the detective more. This was something they hadn’t exactly shared with one another before, it was insight into the very person that Tamryn had been wanting to get to know every part of. The comment of her youth caused Tamryn to think of her own, though the thoughts were very quickly pushed back to the subconscious of her mind. She smiled fondly at the other by her side as Elidi took a drink,
“I am sure you have made a difference in many peoples lives with what you do Detective. My color is red clearly, though I do like royal blue...specifically, and gold..vainly..I wear a lot of white, but its isn't my favorite color. I wear it mostly as a statement.”
She smirked with the last bit of her comment as she lifted her glass to her lips, speaking before taking a long drink herself. The other questions did not have a quick response for it actually caused her to think. What did she do in her free time, and when had been the last time she had actually seen a film. While taking her drink she furrowed her brows in thought and eventually offered out the response of,
“Well lately I have been spending as much of my limited free time with you. And it has been time well spent. Before you I guess shopping and making public appearances more often than normal were my past times. I love the spot light, but I prefer being in your spot light more these days. As for a film, live performances are more of my thing compared to staring at a screen. Though if I had to pick I would say horror, because I ironically find those to be more like comedies with how poorly written the acting can be at times, and the cliches..”
She moved closer to Elidi on the couch, bringing her into that space by the witch’s side that she assumed naturally whenever they seemed to be drawn into one another. Arching her brow she glanced off for a moment before her eyes met with Elidi’s with a sense of sudden wild wonder,
”What is the most dangerous thing you’ve done, or that you can remember doing in your life time? No limits, and you can’t exactly say killed someone cause I’ve seen you do that. It doesn’t count. Also, what’s something no one knows about you?”

Red seemed like the obvious answer to Elidi, however she hated making assumptions for the most part. The hue was fitting to the Alpha, everything about the color screamed Tamryn to the witch, it was the color of her aura most od the time. She was sure there was a shade in existence to perfectly encapsulate Tamryn. It wasn't cerise, scarlet, or even carmine and ruby. Vermillion was the closest choice to the color she was envisioning for the Alpha. One day she'd have a proper name to describe the hue she was seeing for Tamryn.
Realizing she had gotten a little to sidetracked by the color reveal she blinked focusing on the last bit of what Tamryn was saying. "Horror? That seems... fitting and not all in one. I could see you being amused by the scenarios though, humans rarely get it right. Not that I blame them really..."
Content with Tamryn scooting closer to her, a gentle smile pulled at her lips, though faltered at Tamryn's next choice in questioning. Elidi's gaze held Tamryns, while she took a long drink from her glass, while she considered her options. Murder was not an option it seemed, so she supposed she could kill a few birds with one stone with her answer.
"Oh... well. When I was born, I was left at a home for orphans, so I'm told. I don't know my parents, and I don't care too. That wasn't the point, anyhow. Due to some childish errors on my part, word got out that I was a witch. After that it was hard to ... be welcomed into a home. I bounced around a lot from home to home, some decent and some... far from it." Elidi paused, her gaze briefly diverting from Tamryns, hesitant if only for a second.
"There was one home in particular, a man and his wife who took me in. As I mentioned earlier, people knew what I was, a witch. I rarely used my abilities because they weren't received warmly to put simply." She stopped to take another drink, shifting her gaze to the glass in her lap instead of Tamryn's blue hues. "The woman worked quite a bit and he was home, a lot. Uhm, he'd make me..." Her gaze hardened while the grip on her glass tightened considerably, hating just how small her voice sounded, how vulnerable, "Anyways, one day I grew tired of it. I knew they'd send me back, back to another home, another situation. It was stupid, but I used my powers."
"Well, first I disoriented him, then I created this sort of sphere of water around his head and shoulders, and I watched him. I watched him struggle. He tried to stop me but he was not stable from the hit on the head I'd given him. I waited until he collapsed, blubbering, gasping, clawing at the floor. And then I stopped." She quickly drank the rest of the wine from her glass.
"After that I had felt so disgusted with myself. How could I be any better than he was? I consider that the most dangerous thing I've ever done, because it awoke something inside. Something dark, and frightening. I had stared a man in the eyes and nearly watched him die, yet I couldn't pity him if I wanted too, couldn't... bat an eye."
Elidi swallowed nervously, pressing her hand to the side of her cheek. "I've never told anyone that before, I don't talk about my past much. However, I felt like I could... tell you some of it. I know it's... a bit much to hear. I don't care to dwell on it however. My past wasn't kind to me, but it has definitely shaped me into who I am today. That, I suppose I can be grateful for."
Her cheeks warmed considerably, suddenly feeling very awkward and vulnerable, "I suppose I could've just said any sort of dangerous mission. Though I just consider that part of the job.."
