kasumi-tenshi:
“Oh, how lovely!” Kasumi said, delighted at the thought of owning a pet. Kiki’s apartment did not allow pets, so the angel didn’t have the opportunity to get one. Now that he thought about it, he’d never actually had a pet. The closest he could consider was a stray cat that wondered the forest he’d lived in long ago.
The conversation’s mood seemed to darken a little at Elidi’s warning.  He knew very well how quickly things could turn from a normal, happy day to a very dangerous, even deadly situation.  He felt a twinge of guilt, as if he were being scolded, though his thoughts were dismissed as Elidi moved the conversation away from the heavy topic.
Kasumi froze at Elidi’s question. What exactly did he want to learn this for?  While he had certainly had many years to practice using his powers, fighting with magic in heaven was more or less frowned upon, and the young angel had not gotten to go through the same training as typical guardian angels and other angels that actually specialized in combat magic.
“Mostly… for defense.” the angel replied after a long silence.  “I have found earth to be much more… ah… dangerous, than heaven,” he continued.  “But I have never been properly trained to fight – or defend myself, or defend others.  That is what I want most… not to harm others, but to keep people safe from harm.”
Tumblr media
Though Kasumi didn’t ask she didn’t think he’d mind if she elaborated, “Yes, my cat’s named is Binx, he was actually a stray I found near my work one day. A little black ball of fur just staring up at me with big yellow eyes hiding underneath the cars. He is now a big fat cat who enjoys lounging around and plenty of treats. He can’t even be bothered with Tamryn’s presence, Alpha wolf or not.” Elidi chuckled, digits fiddling with the bracelet that hung loosely around her wrist, hues observing the crystal’s condition.
“Ah, learning to defend yourself is never a bad reason, I suppose that’s why everyone wants to learn after all, no?” She paused, “Mostly....” His next observation caused a chuckle to leave her, her brow arching curiously. “Well... I’d hope so anyway, Heaven would be pretty horrible if it wasn’t safe, it would be Hell wouldn’t it?” Elidi’s attention is drawn elsewhere, her interest peaked on another topic, though she wondered if it was appropriate for this setting. Since Kasumi was an angel, and had mentioned Heaven, she wondered how much Kasumi knew about Gods? If anything. Elidi had no knowledge of Heaven in its entirety, and since he had asked her a question himself...
“Uhm... do you know a lot about...” Her nose scrunched, finding the topic unpleasant overall, uncomfortable. “Gods? Deities? I... know nothing about Heaven, or what that even entails honestly.”

dabrowskievolution:
“Ah, right…” The vampire spoke. While he’d been busy that night, he’d heard the fair had been a success. Then again, Stanislav wasn’t interested in something so trivial as a fair. He’d gone to one quite long ago, but it failed to leave an impression.              All of the magika’s words rang in his head; and to an extent he couldn’t help but agree with her. The night he’d met Kiki inside of Red Rose–how long ago it seemed–and the way she seemed to utterly opposite of everything that Stanislav carried himself as. She was bright, and despite his power, Kiki had treated him like an old friend. Initially it rubbed off on the vampire king as disrespectful and bold for a human, but by then he’d made the determination that Kiki simply didn’t understand the expanse of his reign, let alone Tamryn’s. She was a human, and though a wiccan, she had grown up in a bubble. A bubble that had burst, and now it was up to Kiki to find a new way for herself. To undergo her own metamorphosis, and Elidi would certainly play into this transformation.           “Whether or not Kiki will provide reasons, there is no need to justify your agreement. They are your powers, first and foremost, and I can understand the reluctance in sharing something of your essence with another.” The vampire replied cooly, raising his glass to his lips and partaking in a modest gulp. Despite having lived over four centuries, Stanislav had never taken it upon himself to make someone his progeny–then and now. The idea of having to raise a neonate was less than appealing, and it could be quite difficult searching for viable candidates especially when there was much political gain. “I do not mind your ‘ramblings’, Miss Elidi–in fact, I wouldn’t consider it as such. I am merely learning more about you, and about Kiki as well.” He paused for a moment. “Your methods of instruction are preferable over any other. I have known for some makers to be quite sloppy with their progeny, as they’d much rather rush the basics and disallow routine.”       With a quiet sigh and a dismissive shake of his head, his attention turned to the magika once more. A natural silence fell over them, though the elder vampire didn’t necessarily mind. It was rare for him to enjoy another’s presence, seeing as the majority of the Council and even his own community could be exhaustive to so much as share the same space with. Yet there was a natural comfort and kinship he felt to share with the magika; albeit the latter was much more hidden within her ways. It wasn’t as though she were an official, so there was no need for her to be in the public eye. At times Stanislav thought back to his own days where he was able to blend in seamlessly, and though they could be tempting, the vampire king had grown quite used to his routine; and he wasn’t about to abandon his post for a taste of the past. There was no need.                   Though surprised by her question, the male discarded this as innocent curiosity seeing as Kiki was quite involved with the mortician. Glancing down at his near-empty glass, there was a thoughtful pause before the vampire king took to speaking once more.             “Mister Romanescu and I have known eachother for the better part of twenty some odd years–give or take a few months. By then I’d been in power for quite some time, and I much prefer to keep awareness of who comes and goes. I summoned him when I came to learn he had been wishing to nestle himself within the state…” His hues narrowed. “Looks can be deceiving, but it was clear through our conversation that he was intent on starting a new life for himself. My subordinates helped allocate a property in Thibodaux, and Mister Romanescu proved to be everything he’d displayed himself as–quiet, obedient, mindful. His work as a mortician was quite…impressive. Which is why when Tabula was founded, I requested for him to move alongside me as well.”
Tumblr media
She found herself relieved that Stan was all the more understanding, she’d hate to cause an altercation between the two especially since they were just getting to know one another, and the evening had turned out so lovely. “A rushed job is not something I’d ever recommend, nor teach to Kiki, if it isn’t perfect I don’t care for it. At least when it comes to things that are done by my hands, it must be infallible. No matter how big or small. I find especially in teaching, even more so with magic involved, spells Kiki will learn will be both offensive and defensive. She should be highly efficient in both categories, whether to defend herself or others.”
Feeling as if she had spoken enough about the matter, she cleared her throat, taking a drink from her glass, which was now nearing the bottom. Had they really been conversing that long? Elidi felt proud that she was able to carry on a conversation for this long, one that didn’t feel forced, or awkward. At least not too much.
“Twenty years? That’s amazing! ... I don’t think I’ve even known someone for twenty years. Though I am somewhat surprised that it isn’t a little longer than that.” Elidi wondered though if that was sort of ignorant, to assume every supernatural met one another long ago. The ones that were able too anyhow. Her head tilted curiously at his comment about looks being deceiving. Was he implying Garridan was deceiving in some way? Much like Kiki, Elidi didn’t sense any malicious intent within the timid vampire either. Her brows simply rose in response, though the rest of her expression remained neutral to his words.
“Yes, I’ve only spoken with him a handful of times, but I adore him. I can tell he takes great pride in his work, and really enjoys it. Which is wonderful, seeing as he mentioned his predecessors not heeding as much care.” Although she would never voice this aloud, she did tend to have a soft spot for ones that were a little shy in nature, mousy little things. A weakness she hoped no one would exploit anytime soon. “I think it is ... cute him and Kiki are such good friends. Though her little groupe seems to be ever growing with the added presence of Kasumi, who seems... just as gentle.”

xreznikovx:
A soft growl was breathed past the she wolf’s red lips as she smirked to the mentioning of how she looked in the dresses of the past, shrugging somewhat as if to not object to it she still arched a brow,
“Even I barely pulled off the looks of back then, style was not about how it looked but more so how much it costs… I guess the same could be said about the fashion of today as well to an extent. I do not miss them though. I prefer the slimmer styled dresses of today.”
Tamryn often didn’t give much thought to how young Elidi truly was for a witch. Her  lover’s demeanor often reflected that of those far older though in moments like this when it was brought into focus Tamryn found herself given it a bit more thought without expressing it directly. Instead she tilted her head at the comment made and arched her brow,
“It is interesting to think that during the time I actually became Alpha you were merely a child. Not that it matters now, nor that I see you as someone significantly younger than I. I almost don’t notice until its brought up like this. But It would make for some interesting late night conversations...”
She trailed off as the subject drifted towards a conversation she knew the witch didn’t want when it came to her child hood so the she wolf tightened her hold as if to regain her lover’s focus once more,
“Flattering you is something I will never apologize for, you deserve it entirely Mon amour.”
She stayed still only leaning somewhat into the kiss pressed to the corner of her pout with turned to a smile the moment her lover came closer. Her vivid blue hues stayed focused on Elidi’s face before she answered,
“I know. I can feel it, remember, and beyond the bond we created I can feel it when you say it to me.”
Giving off a soft pout like sigh as Elidi objected to maintaining her attention for the entire night Tamryn gave her a look and sat into her hip somewhat as she did so. She loved how modest and thoughtful Elidi was, though in the moment when the she wolf wanted her to be possessive she was more so willing to be passive.
“My love if there is anything you can learn from being with me it is that you need to take what you want when you want it. If you do not want to share me then don’t, which you don’t.”
Her gaze was strong and honest, she felt the need to make that much clear though she knew the context of which her lover was speaking she still wanted to make it clear where her loyalties lied. She looked over the guest who seemed occupied among themselves for the time being,
“I may have put this all together however I am not the guest of honor here. I do not have to entirely entertain those in attendance here. I am more than capable of being taken away by you whenever I want to be, which that is all I want right now. To be by your side and enjoying all of this with you, not people I honestly could care less about beyond the superficial standpoint of being someone in the public eye. The few I cared to see tonight I have. Which means I am all yours for the rest of the evening Mon Amour.”
Her smile resurfaced as she listened to how Elidi didn’t really want her to dance with anyone else, it was that possessiveness the Alpha craved from her lover and when it surface she took notice to it immediately,
“To be honest, I think most are afraid to ask me, more so now of what you may do than what I may do. I kind of like it, even men are hesitant knowing that I am yours now. It’s amusing, though obviously if Jaylah of the others wanted to dance I would consider, lucky for us Jaylah hates this sort of dancing so.”
At the mention of slow dancing the she wolf felt a flutter in her stomach before she gripped her lovers hand and leaned into her fondly,
“I would love to slow dance with you, specially under the stars, I am loving this romantic side that’s surfaced within you since the beach..come on. I know the perfect place.”
She turned looking around the party, everyone seemed so preoccupied she knew that them sneaking off would go unnoticed for the most part. Looking to Elidi once more as if to show her that no one was taking notice to them she turned for the back exit of the Veil. Pushing the doors open to the cool outside air she stepped out and took off her heels leaving them by the door before she turned to face the distant treeline of the woods. Taking a few steps out towards that direction she looked up and seemed to be lining herself up with the night sky. Tamryn stopped suddenly and then looked to her lover and held out her hand,
“Come here and look, tell me what you think?”
Tumblr media
Her expression faltered momentarily, unable to control the slight twisting of her lips at the mere mention of her childhood, however briefly it was. She’s more than grateful for the squeeze, leaning herself all the closer to Tamryn while a sigh escaped her, an attempt made to ignore her darkening thoughts.
She gave a thoughtful glance down to the bracelet around her wrist, hues observing the status of the stone embedded in the wiring. “I know that but still I want to say it to you. I’ve been thinking about tweaking the bracelets a little more, maybe adding a few more spells to it, I’m not sure. I don’t want to overload the stone but not knowing your location sometimes, has been proven to be dangerous.” She scrunched her nose up disapprovingly, letting her gaze wander from the beauty in front of her.
“I know I know... but it is still rude.” Elidi said with a huff, “You have a certain reputation to uphold.” Though as Tamryn stated she’s already seen the people she needed to see, Elidi gave her another look, tugging the redhead closer to her toned frame. “Well mi amor, why didn’t you say that earlier?”
Though Elidi couldn’t understand why anyone wouldn’t ask Tamryn to dance, she doubted she was the reason behind it, and since she personally didn’t find Tamryn scary, that reasoning didn’t cross her mind either. She merely shrugged in response to her lover, “Perhaps Red.... though I am pleased that no men are asking you to dance.” She couldn’t remember exactly, but she knew Tamryn had dated men before, Elidi herself had only dated women. A terribly dark thought threatens to cross her mind but she is quick to shut it down, the grip she holds around Tamryn tightens considerably as she forces herself to breathe, a reassuring smile crossing her lips. “I guess the beach was just... an eye-opening trip for me.”
She followed with a smile after Tamryn, glancing once more over her shoulder as the pair departed the party and walked out into the open air. Elidi took in a deep breath, welcoming the fresh air as it hits her skin, her smile only growing as she beheld the stars above them. The witch halted in her tracks, watching as Tamryn took a few steps ahead of her, bright hues looking briefly past the redhead and toward the line of trees. Despite this being a party, and plenty of supernaturals around, she couldn’t help but scan around for danger, only when she sensed none did she let her attention return to Tamryn, gaze softening.
Under the pale light of the moon, the hue only seemed to kiss her fair skin and highlights the red strands of her hair. Elidi allowed herself a few silent moments, merely admiring her lover before she stepped forward, claiming her hand as it was stretched out to her. She felt her heart flutter, almost feeling as if she were viewing Tamryn for the first time. Elidi leaned over briefly, pressing a chaste kiss to her cheek, “It is beautiful mi amor. If only we had some music.”
An idea occurs as she finishes her sentence, fetching her phone from the little clutch she brought along with her. “Is this... where you want to dance?” Elidi questioned as she scrolled through the music app on her phone, determined to find the perfect song for them to dance too, blue eyes lifting to Tamryn as she awaited her response.

Revenge was more than likely running through Kiki’s mind, and although Stanislav much preferred to mitigate any damage from her volatile passion, he himself understood that word. Revenge. Part of it had been one of the various reasons, an explanation for the vampire’s political title. Being king had nothing to do with it--mostly. Though this was another story, one that Stanislav felt no need to bring up so long as he silently acknowledge his own vendettas had lead him to his current position.
“More than likely she has confided within her friends. As she should, seeing as they are necessary to providing her with a cushion of safety.” It went without saying that Stanislav wasn’t the best at comforting others, especially with words, and both money and physical affection could only do so much to mend a broken heart. Let alone quell the howling for blood.
He made a mental note of Tamryn’s knowledge, though he knew better than to approach the High Alpha. She’d never seemed that interested in the wiccan’s affairs, and she carried herself with an articulate mean-streak that reminded Stanislav greatly of a man he used to be. While he knew nothing of Elidi’s exploits, he wouldn’t be one to judge her in the first place.
Giving a nod of acknowledgement, the vampire felt it to be wise to drop the conversation altogether. They’d bound themselves to their code, and it was Stanislav’s intention to follow it. After the masquerade the vampire would make an effort to attune to Kiki’s feelings, observing her behaviour for any abnormality.
“Pardon me, Miss Elidi...but I do not think Kiki has ever spoken of how you two made acquaintance. You needn’t answer of course, but I am interested in what made you so inclined to take Kiki as a student.”

Tumblr media
Elidi nodded along in agreement, part of her wondering if having friends by Kiki's side would make a world of difference. For Elidi she was always alone, would outcomes vary if she had had someone by her side at the time? The closest thing she had to a friend and mentor was her former boss, Kisara. The only person Elidi had turned too when she received her new elemental powers. If revenge was something Kiki desired, Elidi couldn't help but wonder how it would affect the younger woman. She adored Kiki immensely, but the few times Elidi has seen her upset or cry, left her thinking Kiki had a weak heart. The witch didn't think she could stomach it. No matter what this horrid man did to her.
His question catches her a little off guard, though she supposes it is to be expected, seeing as she asked Stan one as well, a much heavier one at that. "I met her at the fair, I was stuck managing one of the ring toss booths. She won a prize that night." Her brow arches, a faint chuckle emitting from her, "She asked if I was a witch, and said she wanted a teacher to help her in activating her wand."
She supposed she didn't really have a reasoning as to why she took Kiki on a student, perhaps because she was bold enough to ask so outright? Elidi had never taught anyone before, at least with magic. "She was striking. In a way she is probably unaware of, a childlike candor, innocent almost. I met with her a final time, before I fully agreed to take her on as a student. I wanted to see where her mind stood, I can't have just anyone running around with my magic after all." Her lit gaze lifted up to meet his, "Though I've made it clear if she does anything that displeases me, I'll be swift to reclaim it." Her posture straightened, her head shaking dismissively, "I doubt she'll give me any reason too however."
"She is a quick learner! I need to teach her more spells, I tend to try and cement one in her mind permanently before I move on to another one. Practice until it is perfect. Well, as close to perfect as one can be. Ah forgive me, I feel as if I have rambled on insistently."
Outside from her view of the window, she spots the gentle gust of wind, tossling the leaves of a tree. A faint smile quirked her lips, aware of the emotion that flooded through her, that kicked up the air to run through that greenery, consciously tranquil, in control. Deciding to change the conversation, she flipped through a rolodex of topics in her head, she didn't think he'd discuss Kiki much more anyway.
"How long have you known Garridan? He's mentioned you once or twice." A smile returned to her lips, intrigued to what the vampire king would say, especially since Garridan seemed wary of the older vampire.

kasumi-tenshi:
“Oh, yes I was thinking something related to animals… perhaps animal rescue? I am uh… quite good at communicating with animals. Have been ever since I was a small child.  They are uh… much easier to talk to than people are, sometimes…” he said, scratching the back of his head.
He stood silent for a moment, noting that Elidi seemed to be deep in thought. Though the moment lasted for a while, and Kasumi couldn’t help but start to think he’d done something wrong.  He wanted to believe she was just thinking of something else, but something in the back of his brain nagged him until she spoke up.
“O-Oh! It’s fine, no worries!” he said quickly, relief flooding through him. She wasn’t upset!  It seemed that she got lost in though, just like he sometimes did. And that was okay! He just needed to learn to keep his nervous thoughts under control.
“Thank you,” he said, flashing a smile. He was happy to know Kiki thought so highly of him.  “O-oh… ah, don’t worry about the flying thing. I’m uh.. very good at it, I would never let any harm come to Kiki while she is with me.”  Though he did briefly recall the time she’d asked him to fly over the woods, and the things he’d seen there…  He looked down at his wrist, fiddling with his bracelets. The memories flashed through his mind so quickly that he was momentarily overwhelmed,  his eyes flashing a bright blue light before he pushed the thoughts down and forced himself to return to the present, the blue light fading along with those worries.
Looking up, and quickly changing the subject, he said, “Kiki has told me you are a wonderful teacher. Perhaps I could, uh.. learn a bit from you, one day.”
Tumblr media
Her expression visibly brightened, “I love animals. I wish I had more, I only have  one cat right now, but I wouldn’t mind getting a dog or a little mouse even. They are all so adorable.” Though she didn’t discuss speaking to animals, she found herself agreeing with him, at least in some aspects. Her cat Binx was easy to figure out though, the feline either wanted some affection or food. A very docile creature, who was growing quite fat too now that she thought about it. Unfortunately, she didn’t know anyone that worked with animals that she could put in a good word for Kasumi with.
The witch fixated him with a look, her head tilting to the side while her brow quirked, “Still... I know how persuasive Kiki can be, some things she thinks are good ideas rarely turn out to be.” Her gaze fell half-lidded, displeased by some of the incidents Kiki had mentioned to her before, the accidents, some resulting in injury. “...even with precaution, please don’t seek any dangerous situations out. No matter how big or small, one mistake can ruin everything.” A frown took hold of her expression, if only briefly as she dismisses the air around the conversation. “That’s enough of that though.”
Had Kiki really told him that? She was starting to feel like a lousy teacher as of late, her brow rose, surprised by the statement but Kiki was a nice girl after all, so perhaps not too surprising. “Yes... perhaps. I recall you mentioning before that you could control the element water as well. I don’t use it quite as much anymore, sort of, an element of surprise if I need it.”
“Why are you interested in learning, what for?”

Fortunately for Elidi, the mask managed to hide her flustered demeanor although Stanislav could faintly make out the slight increase of pulse. He decided not to push it, seeing as if the roles had been reversed he wouldn’t have enjoyed others prying into his own love affair so non chalantly.     “No apologies required. Miss Reznikov is quite important to me as well, and I find myself learning more about you, Miss Elidi.” He avoided pushing the matter, deciding it would be best to move on. Perhaps his words could be misconstrued as antagonistic, but he held a strong conviction that the witch would understand his words and their intended meaning. She didn’t seem one to let emotions override her logic, but by no means would Elidi perhaps compare to the vampire’s kings own manner of poise.           Giving an occasional nod, Stanislav once again raised his glass to his lips and took a drink. Ah, it seems even after so many years the vampire had a thing or two to learn about the law system outside of kindred. The undead were bound to their own laws, their own customs; Council be damned if they let a mass-wave of transformations overcome the state.           One thing he hadn’t quite expected was the question that left the magika’s lips. It felt sudden, but perhaps such a speculation was only natural from a mentor and given the recent events that had afflicted the human. At first he looked to his glass, light optics narrowing with thought as they so often did. Eventually he looked to his companion. While he could sense the buzzing atmosphere, he didn’t want just anyone to overhear; so he spoke loud enough for the magika to hear but kept a sense of privacy between them.            “As for now, I do not.” If it had been anyone else, Stanislav would have left it at that. “Of course this is subject to change. But isn’t everyone?” This was more of a rhetorical question, seeing as in the elder vampire’s eyes, people were capable of change. And sometimes this change was more often than naught for the worse     . “She is angry and hopeless, ravaged by guilt. These emotions, coupled with the volatile nature of her passion, should be kept under a watchful gaze. I understand the worry of your bias affecting this vantage point, but if I have learned anything from our conversations, Miss Elidi, you are also a woman of logistics. Something that Mister Romanescu and Mister Kasumi lack.” He momentarily paused. “I make no effort to mention it to others–I have forged a connection with Kiki. While I may not be able to read her mind, I’ve become quite adept at making inferences based on how I can sense her every feeling. If I come across anything worth discussing, you’d be the first to know.”               As much as Stanislav trusted Tamryn and viewed her as a trusted confidant, perhaps to the same–if not higher–regard than his own cabinet; this matter was far too personal. Elidi was one of the only authoritative figures left in Kiki’s life, and seeing as they both held a magic of which the vampire king would never understand, his words were relatively endearing and stood for how he’d come to view the magika despite the fleeting nature of their interactions thus far.
Tumblr media
Lustrous hues gazed up at the vampire king, attempting to keep a dispassionate expression upon her features, with some aid due to the mask. Relief coursed through her frame, he had chose to answer her question after all, and he didn’t seem too bothered by it, if at all.
Part of her agreed yes, people did change, but perhaps due to past occurrences, she rarely found they changed for the better. Elidi agreed with Stan still, she found herself changing in ways she never thought possible. First, from having a relationship with Tamryn, to even socializing outside of work with Kiki and Garridan. Though she wasn’t exactly close to the timid vampire, she still enjoyed his company, and considered him a friend. What struck Elidi the most was her lack of interest in cases.
Often she took care of cold cases on her own, located killers by herself, not because it was part of her job but for her own personal vengeance, a hunt. As of lately though, stalking down her prey had been the furthest thing from her mind. Elidi didn’t transform into a killer, she was always one. The witch had always wanted revenge, either for herself or the victims that died by the suspects hands, that experienced physical and mental trauma, the ones who survived but remained broken, who were angry, who were scared. Retribution was something Elidi could understand, if that is what Kiki chose to do.
Still, she was satisfied with his answer, she was an observant woman after all. Bright eyes were always watching, locating the tiniest details. She didn’t have the eyes of multiple people around her, or even an inner circle she trusted completely besides Tamryn, just a shroud of stealth, her work done behind the scenes.
Elidi nodded her head once in reply, her words quiet to avoid any listening ears, “That is to be expected, I appreciate your honesty. The only other individual that I am aware who knows is Tamryn, though ... I assume Kiki probably told Garridan and Kasumi.” A somber smile twisted her lips, her brows knitting together, “I’d tell you anything I thought worrying myself.”

“I would actually love that, and like wise I can tell you more about my youth, granted the time periods were…hundreds of years apart. It would make for interesting conversation. I want to know everything there is to know about you Eli, as much as you are willing to share with me. Nothing you have told me so far has made me fall in love with you less, if anything I have fallen for you even more so now.”
Feeling her lover’s nose press to hers she growled playfully and flexed the grip of her hands in Elidi’s hair as if to reinforce the statement made, her elegant brow curved in devious nature as she spoke softly in response to her love’s reassurance,
“I do know you don’t intend to hurt me. You also do not have to have a pack for me to feel safe with you. You being who you are alone makes me feel safe enough to pretty much leave the state without my pack or my guards. We did come here alone, that says a lot considering I have had some sort of guard detail with me ever since my mother passed.”
The she wolf seemed to regain that glowing hue to her eyes as her love mentioned marking her skin, a topic that suddenly caused her to tilt her head as if in contest to the statement, nonchalantly she offered out as she smirked,
“Don’t assume they wouldn’t stay, you could leave marks if you wanted to. You would just have to try harder than you are probably used to.”
“I do not often plan trips to the beach, however I wouldn’t mind making it a thing we do together often. I don’t see myself being as comfortable doing this with anyone else really. Trust me Mon amour, if there is ever anything I am uncomfortable with I will not shy from voicing it. I have no problem speaking my mind as you have seen thus far. I am having fun, even when we were in the water. And I think it would be romantic in a way if we did go to aquarium. I wonder how sea life respond to Were scent?”
Her last statement was more of a joke than anything though she was excited to explore all these new reaches she was willing to go to with her love. An aquarium was not as overwhelming as the ocean itself was, and the fact it was something her lover wanted to do only made the she wolf all the more willing to do it as well.
Feeling her lover’s hands around her waist and how she guided her to sit fully caused the Alpha to be complacent to the action when she would have gone rigid had anyone else tried to command her body in such a way. With Elidi, specially now it was almost euphoric to give over such control even if it didn’t stand out to the witch in the moment. Rather than acknowledge the power clearly held within those hands Tamryn simply remained internal with her thoughts as she smiled down to the dark haired beauty she now sat upon her focus shifting to how the witch played with the ends of her hair. It was another simple action that the she wolf did not often let other due but she found it to be a favorite thing of hers when the detective did it.
“I was just being careful is all. And you are allowed to be as close to me as you want to be Mon amour. You don’t have to ask to be shy. We can do that, I would like to do that.”
She turned to look out towards the slow setting sun before smiling as her love adjusted underneath her only to hold her closer in a kiss. Holding the sides of the witch’s face she returned the kiss before pulling back enough to let her love speak though she couldn’t help but trail soft kisses down her love’s jawline and neck as she spoke. Distracting herself for a moment before she perked up hearing about walking on the beach and drinking. Leaning back to smile fondly at her romantic partner she leaned down and pressed her forehead to Elidi’s as she smiled even more,
“You are romantic, and yes so is that idea. I say it’s a prefect way to end this night. Plus there is something about you being near the water that is becoming my favorite thing to see so let’s get ready and head down there. We should have the beach entirely to ourselves.”

“I would love to know more about your past mi amor, anything you want to tell me. Your lifetime is so much more vast than mine is, I find it very intriguing that you’ve lived through such different time periods, the things you must’ve seen and experienced.” Seeing she got a little sidetracked by this fact about Tamryn, she shook her head, a small smile adorning her features. “It’s just fascinating... maybe because my lifespan is so short compared to yours, ah, even if I am 32, which might seem relatively young to you. I feel so old.” Elidi’s nose wrinkled in disgust, readjusting herself more comfortably against the pillows as her lit gaze traveled upward toward the ceiling. “I never thought I’d live to be this old.”
Elidi was aware the statement seemed a little dark, her gaze averted from the ceiling to the corner of her eye, where she stared at the wall, observing the flecks of paint dried onto the wood. A smile quirked the corners of her lips, her brows raised, “It’d be a little weird wouldn’t it, if your bodyguards came along on a romantic trip with us wouldn’t it?” The witch gave the woman in her arms a gentle squeeze, moving to let her hands reside back on the swell of her hips. “I would never let anything bad happen to you.” Another smile adorned her features reaching her eyes, satisfied she could make Tamryn feel safe without the need of her guards. Her brows wriggled playfully, “Is it because I am super strong?” Not that she needed Tamryn to boost her ego, she was plenty cocky on her own already.
Her dominant hand reached for Tamryn’s visage, stroking lovingly underneath her chin, her head tilting to the side down at her, “Wouldn’t that hurt if it were... erm, a little harder than usual? I mean I know some people like that sort of thing...” Her lips stretched into a grimace, not really seeing the point in marking her skin if it only hurt Tamryn, a faint blush settled across her cheeks, her hand tracing a faint line down the length of Tamryn’s neck. “I mean - ..” Her hues averted, clearing her throat. A frown took hold of her features, “Pity.”
“I would love to make this something we do regularly.” She paused, halting her excitement as she looked back up to Tamryn, “If you’re comfortable that is. We could do something you want to do too, like visit an art museum or mmm - go wine tasting?” She spoke casually with a shrug, leaning to press a quick kiss to Tamryn’s cheek, chuckling at her comment. “I mean... perhaps? .. I don’t know enough information about aquatic life to discuss, which is odd itself because I love the water and the ocean so much.”
Content with her answer, she flipped their positions, straddling Tamryn’s waist as the redhead so often did to her. Her skin tingled where Tamryn pressed a trail of kisses along her skin, she only mimicked the action, letting her arms wrap around her in a sweet embrace, simply holding her for a moment before she reluctantly released her, removing herself from the bed. “I’ll get the cooler ready then,” The witch paused, glancing over her shoulder to the redhead laying on the bed, her lips quirking. She was beautiful. “If you want, we can buy some more alcohol from the hotel shop, I only brought a bottle of wine or so.” Elidi shrugged indifferently as she moved to start repacking the drinks, making sure they had a snack or two inside the cooler.

They say that we're out of control and some say we're sinners
But don't let them ruin our beautiful rhythms
'Cause when you unfold me and tell me you love me
And look in my eyes
You are perfection, my only direction
