Ive got a LU theory:

So wild Hums while cooking right? In totk he Hums different Zelda Songs ( because of course sm like me would notice that. I’m playing too much zelda).

Like ballad of the windfish or ballad of the goddess, og Zelda overworld theme etc.

You could a lot with that. I mean, imagine the surprise when wild just randomly starts humming saria’s song or ballad of the windfish and time and legend just eating or smth and then hearing wild hum songs that probably only they should know. That could lead to interesting conversations. Like I dunno wild mentioning eventide island ( or whatever it’s called) or sarias lake or smth

Which again. Hyrules got a town called saria town I’m sure. And that again could lead to Rauru town, wild saying he knew a king called rauru, etc ( end of thinking capacity)

Could someone do me the favor of writing this?

so I saw one spoiler from totk on accident but was curious like huh how did ppl encounter that, and I've done a lot of stuff in the world already, and anyways I thought "hm let me do these 2 main quests" and beat the game, and then didn't find the content I was looking for, but at least now I have the nifty completion percentage thing and it's only at 65.58% at 200 hrs in!!!

#merples #also I recently learned this one duplication glitch the one where you look behind on a certain slope at a location #two notes on that: #1) get a stake + board and test out on any hill if you see any gaps when looking up this will save your duped materials from sliding #bc you'll favorite that in autobuild #2) if you see the dupes of items sometimes poof in the air it might be slightly off angle for that type/shape and try again after shifting #ie I got monster guts that initially proofed but shifting my position + aim sometimes makes just 1 dupe or other times full success #it's a lil funky #totk spoilers maybe?

A few facts to consider:

Zonai are canonically said to have been considered gods when they first descended from the skies

In Zelda lore there are 3 golden goddesses said to have descended from the heavens, created the world, then disappeared

Zonai know what draconification does, and the side-effects, meaning it has to have happened before

There are three dragons in BOTW named after and associated with the 3 golden goddesses

so. I just think it’s so funny that like… six years ago (and even up until totk was released), people were goofing off in the Faron region and elsewhere of botw and being like “whoa look at these statues and hints at an ancient civilization” and then theories every five minutes about the zonai and who they were and what they were and their whole deal and all that good stuff. and everyone was like “man I hope the sequel does something about this bc it’d be pretty cool to have this all in canon”

and not even two minutes into gameplay and Zelda is like “ZONAI ZONAI ZONAI LOOK AT ALL THIS ZONAI STUFF LINK DID YOU KNOW THE ZONAI ARE A THING AND THAT THEY MINGLED WITH THE HYLIANS TO CREATE HYRULE AND THEY LIVED IN THE SKY AND HAD POWERS”

not to also mention- hearing Zelda say “Demon King” had me doing somersaults around my room. Ganondorf my king how I’ve missed you
