Submitted by @furby-junkie!
Two books that were listed on Todocoleccion: "En el Fondo del Mar" (At the Bottom of the Sea) and "La Bella Durmiente" (Sleeping Beauty).
They were published by Todolibro and have a plastic container with glitter and water in it.
The first book can be found here, but I can't find the link to the second one anymore.

I won an auction on Spanish site todocoleccion in November of last year. Despite some initial communication from the seller (and the listing saying they shipped overseas), they never gave me a shipping price or method of payment.
I sent one last message today, fingers crossed.
The listing was for a Super Chabel head, the doll that looks like a giant Licca.
I'd really like this specific listing because it is for the doll that doesn't have the growing hair gimmick. I am guessing I might be wigging her at some point. And it's for just the head, a much better price than the full doll to settle my burning curiosity.
But I will stop pestering the seller after this. They have a good rating on there so I suppose it's just been too much effort to do the overseas shipping estimate so they are just ignoring this one. 😅

MANUEL HERNÁNDEZ MOMPÓ (VALENCIA, 1927- MADRID, 1992) ”VINALESA MEDITERRÁNEA” SERIGRAFIA (76x57) 156/200

1.500€

How do you go about finding rarer toys? I'm not an aqua collector, but I am a build-a-bear collector looking for a very rare plush, whose cheapest listing on ebay right now is about $250. Is there any tips you can give for finding a rare toy cheaper?
Hi there!
Even if plush finding isn’t my exact expertise, I think I may have some useful advice regarding this.
Some of the first things I’d recommend to do is expand the range of buy and sell sites you look through, as many (verified safe to use ones) as you can find! Some of my personal favorite sites to browse are eBay, Mercari, Etsy, and recently Todocoleccion. There’s quite a few others though, such as OfferUp, LetGo, Depop, and Carousell! For as many as will allow you to do so, I highly recommend saving searches and keywords and having it set up so you’re notified of any listings being posted that match, this way even if there’s none available when you first look you’ll know when there is, and know in time to snipe it before someone else does. For a lot of my favorite most prized collectibles I’ve had to wait months or even years for that perfect listing before I could snag them, it sounds agonizing (and often is) but this will definitely up your chances and it’s so worth it. Also worth looking into other countries’ sell sites, just be sure to have a VPN and translator handy and always message a seller first on region locked sites to see if they’re comfortable shipping out of country.
For items with lower prices, there’s always of course the offhand chance that a seller doesn’t quite know what they’re selling, and that’s often down to luck. I will say though, try to pay attention to those with apparent flaws that result in lower prices, and research to see if what flaws they have are something you could actually potentially fix. Stains that can be cleaned, tears that can be sewn, dryer burnt fur that can be heat treated, props and clothes that can be replaced. There’s a lot of resources regarding plush restoration, I’d say it’s worth looking into! I’ve had to repair a few items I’ve bought before myself. It’s very tempting to want the highest untouched quality of an item possible or somewhere close, I’m no exception to this! But you may surprise yourself as to how much you can spruce up a well loved item and make it your own.
Hope this may be of some use to you, best of luck in getting that plush!
