This afternoon’s #teatime situation at @aoyamaflowermarket_teahouse... Sister almost directed us the wrong way. She’s actually never been to this tea house so we queued for a bit, and got ourselves a bench seat facing the wall of luscious vines 🌿🌿🌿... This season, the teahouse has been filled with many many vivid pink roses, and when it came to order my drink, I decided to elevate my visual sensory by ordering a vial of hot rose tea. Just seeing and smelling the scent of rose, was a beautiful treat to cool myself down on a rather warm Spring time in Tokyo. 🌹😌🌹🌹 and i’m glad that my brother and sister liked the place. Never been a big fan of tomatos to be honest 🍅 but it seemed that Japan had many of these colourful cherry tomatos that they serve out as salads. Long day calls for a really good #yakiniku dinner at #jumboyakiniku... we had these three different cuts of beef and were advised to grill the beef slices at 3secs before flipping to the other side, to get the perfect delectable texture, retaining moist and fat of the beef! the yaki-shabu beef that is being ordered by the slice (¥2100 per slice)... This was epic, love how the slices were slightly thicker, and we're always served with an egg-wash to dip the grilled yaki-shabu beef before eating it... As usual sis asked me to go to the convenience store with her coz she was looking for her ice-cream but they didn’t have what she wanted so she decided to try this one. She convinced me to pop one of these ice balls into my mouth and I am so glad I did. This tastes so good! It’s like an iced version of Japanese famed Kyoho grapes, it kinda has a protective icy layer (similar to the skin of Kyoho grapes) and when you chew into the ice ball, it bursts out with juicy sweetness of 🍇. This is just one of those times i don’t regret taking in a sweet treat! Most of the time.
