ok ive been thinking about it a while but im thinking about angela again. specifically about the way she functions physically, as a machine.
during lobcorp, angela never really did much outside of the whole Perfect Assistant thing. can of worms, but it's not an immediately terribly physically demanding thing. and then, towards ruina, she becomes a bit more active, but still never participates in any of the receptions herself. and then theres the whole Becoming Human thing. but that's not really what im here about.
specifically, im curious if angela can even... get. hurt. at all. weve seen her get swung at a few times during ruina, but even those have their asterisks-- the library's protection, her becoming less mechanical, and so on-- but just on her own, is she just... fine? can she take physical damage?
what im getting at is, how is her upkeep? does she need to worry about any of that at all? i can see her being built to deal with a lot given um. the environment. but mechanics are a delicate thing-- even With the way the setting is. how would repairs even Work? and additionally, has she ever had to deal with them before?
and a step past that, how would they handle that post-lobcorp, when the people responsible for her, the ones who Know how she works, are um. not exactly. able. to. closest one is hokma, but... again, can of worms.
and then, talking about angela's thought processes, how she functions-- i can't imagine she's ever been like... off. for very long. if at all. she's spent a lot of time keeping everything together, keeping things in order, constantly storing and retrieving information and executing processes-- something like that must be pretty strange.
...am i making sense? what im saying is, theres something very interesting to be said about vulnerability, the symbolism of raw mechanics and technology behind a seemingly impenetrable surface of metal, of self-image and fallibility and trust and care.
can you see the line?
wounds can heal and scars can fade, but what about angela?

Okay, so, after all these moans I had a thot.
Reader is new to the resort, makes friends with Tom and catches him masturbating in the showers. Cue horrible pining and then sloppiest head in that room where they keep all the linens. She knows what happened with Ruth and thought "he's mine now, fuck you Ruth" 💕
author's note: bless you, feeding my tom grant obsession.
cw: 18+ (minors dni), talks of past relationships, friends to lovers, oral (m recieving), lots of cute banter, slight voyerism

“Seen Tom?” You chirp, hauling the load of wood that needed to get to the workshop—it’s usually where Tom ended up around this time, after hours but not off the clock. The lady running the front desk gave you a tired look, nodding her head in a random direction.
You’ve been here long enough to know that meant, “Fuck off, find out yourself.”
You sigh, turning on your heels and off down the small path that led to the back few buildings that consisted of maintenance and supplies to keep the park stocked as needed, along with other amenities. It had a small building connected to the linen room, a shower room with a few bathroom stalls, still sizable enough that it was comfortable, though it didn’t provide much privacy—half the locks were broken and the curtains were hanging on by a thread and you could count on your hand the few times you’ve shoved your own pride aside to use them, but it was never your first choice.
And Tom almost always spent the end of his days finishing out a few small projects that needed to be fixed, pencil shoved behind his ear as he worked.
You try to remember back to the first time you met Tom, scared out your wits in a new place with a boyfriend that spent too much time away on work—this place was all you could afford and you were lucky enough to get a job there to keep you afloat, but Tom—he navigated into your life seamlessly.
He had always mentioned a girlfriend from the beginning, never raving about her but she was there in passing, referring back to his life before this, whatever it was, a mundane, monotonous routine he’d fallen into—Ruth, she was always there.
His first love, his first everything—she’d always been a positive staple in his life before moving here and that was very obvious. As for you, you never brought up your love life.
Tom had already pieced it together on his own.
You came from a small town that no one bothered remembering the name of, plucked out by a boy who insisted you move to an even smaller, remote town and stay put while he went away—worked, as he assured you, while you kept the bed warm when he did have a few days out of the month away from work. He called often, but it wasn’t anything you had ever expected after moving away from home, your parents, your friends.
You started new and Tom was nice enough to give you a chance. The boy was too sweet for his own good, unfortunately. It ended up being his ultimate demise in the end, losing his girlfriend to another girl down the way—Jade.
You’ve only spoken to her twice, in passing as she worked, mostly keeping to yourself and getting your duties done for the day before holding yourself hostage in the caravan the rest of the night.
Before Ruth had came, Tom spent most nights at your place, or vice versa. He liked movies and old, cheesy television on weeknights when he’d cook you both dinner, someone to talk about his favorite things to, someone who listened.
Ruth never listened, apparently—or at least, she had stopped somewhere between the first few months after she arrived and those nights you started to spend together, using each other as an outlet to complain. They never breached anything inappropriate, always opposite ends of the couch and constantly aware of that space and making sure to maintain it.
Tom was the type of guy you wished to fall in love with, the type that would give you everything you needed and allow you to return the favor—but he wasn’t for you. Not then, definitely not now.
When Ruth finally quit and ran off with Jade, Tom ignored you for a month. But, you didn’t take it personally. He left for a week, took some work leave and didn’t elaborate on the details.
You found out from everyone else, but part of you had suspected it for a while—always catching her leaving Jade’s during the late hours of the night, sneaking into Tom’s dimmed trailer before settling into your bed.
And there was no reason to blame Ruth, not really—she was confused and trying to figure herself out, but it was done horribly, breaking Tom in the process.
He comes to you eventually, eyes red rimmed and a six pack in hand—you ordered food that night and let Tom talk for hours, eventually ending up with his head in your lap, silently carding your fingers through his short blonde curls, breaching the point of needing a trim.
“She’s got me all fucked up now,” Tom mumbles, picking at the threaded bracelet around his wrist. You’d given it to him as a gift after he commented on your own, it was a simple gesture but Tom never took it off, not once. “Fucking cheating on me—and thinkin’ that it was me the whole time? S’all bullshit.”
Tom reaches for his third beer which is quickly plucked from his grasp, sliding back onto the linoleum table as you tug it away. His eyebrows furrow in annoyance, a soft pout on his face.
“I was tryin’ to ignore it, ya know?” Tom continues, whatever feelings he’d had toward your gesture quickly fading, “I thought she just didn’t like it here—mean, I get it. There’s not loads to do, it’s fuckin’ boring—“
“That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you, Tom,” You reassure him, his fingers rubbing against your own, intertwining with the ones buried in your hair.
He’s never tried to hold your hand before, or even sit this close to you, let alone laid out over you—and he must sense it too, eyes widening at the realization despite his buzz.
But, he doesn’t know you’ve already broken up with your boyfriend. It’s still fresh, only a couple days at the time, but you couldn’t take it any longer.
You were living here alone, supporting yourself, it was all fucked—for both of you.
“M’sorry for dumpin’ on you,” Tom apologizes, removing his touch slightly with deep regret, itching to sit up, create some space for you, but you don’t let go. “Got everyone else laughing at me, you’re the only one that’s listenin’.”
So, he doesn’t either.
“I can relate, I guess.” You shrug.
Tom notes that, the tense smile that appears on your face.
You unload on him too, tell him everything about your break up, and it brings you that much closer—even if it doesn’t lead anywhere you want.
But, here you are now, creeping into the small warehouse, dropping off the supplies you’d brought along in search for him after you realize he’s nowhere to be seen.
You’d either find him perched on the bench eating his lunch or taking a quick smoke break out back—you stay silent, listening for any sign of him there, but it leads you toward the showers, hearing the soft thud of water hitting tile, the steam bellowing out as you get closer.
It doesn’t take long for you to realize you’re intruding, the soft groans seeping through the constant stream of water—and you could’ve excused it for anyone else if it weren’t for the fact that you could see Tom in the mirror, standing oppositions the row of sinks and the curtain slightly ajar, bare naked and skin flushed a bright red from the water and the current situation he was mixed up in, hand fisting his cock that was still hidden behind the cloth.
And it didn’t take a genius to figure out what he was doing, but you feel gross, reaching a point of invasiveness you’d never intended. You ignored the quickening in your breath, the way your fingers clenched against your thighs, feeling the dig of your nails through your jeans as you quickly back away, retreating toward the first place that seemed safe.
You still had to deliver the stuff to him, but this way it was more easily explained, shuffling into the linen closet as you busied yourself with whatever you could, desperately trying to seem distracted despite how heavy and loud his sounds grew, audible through the joined walls and the deep echo of the bathroom.
Only a few minutes later you can hear the soft clearing of a throat and a door down the hall being shut—and you can only assume it’s Tom, mumbling something to himself as he exits the bathroom. Your breathing is still, listening for his voice.
He calls out your name eventually, noticing the pile of wood by the entrance and you being nowhere in sight. There’s an odd sigh, too long to be dismissed and then he’s calling your name again, followed by a hushed, “Fuck, you absolute idiot.”
He’s addressing himself, before he’s approaching the linen closet and twisting the doorknob—it requires a little wiggle room since it sticks nine times out of ten, but it gives you a chance to look less obvious, not that you weren’t already guilty as ever. You weren’t great at hiding your emotions, or expressions even, and it would always be your downfall.
“Probably scared her off,” He continued on softly, finally nudging the door, head peeking through and landing on you immediately, “—oh, you been here long?”
You shake your head slightly, offering a slight smile as you refolded a sheet, resting it on the already neat pile.
“Just dropping off some things before I clock out for the night,” You explain, “long day?”
It slips out of your mouth before you can stop it, but given his tired state, exhaustion on his face and under eyes darker than usual—it seemed like a fair assumption to make.
Tom laughs awkwardly, scratching at his cheek as he finally moves inside, shutting the door behind him. He’s got a dark color shirt and a pair of sweats that have gone through the wash too many times, tight around his legs and everywhere else. It doesn’t hide the still half-hard cock hiding behind the fabric, but you didn’t let on, turning to face him with your arms crossed over your chest.
“You could say that,” He says with a tinge of annoyance, before he finally blurts it out, “Ruth called.”
“Did she?” You ask, interest peaked.
“Yeah—couldn’t fuckin’ believe it either.” Tom chuckles through the discomfort, leaning against an adjoining shelf, your bodies squeezed between a row, with a few inches of distance between each other as he tells you the details.
He’s watching you skeptically, but it’s subdued—he knows something’s up, but he doesn’t key you in immediately.
“Kinda felt like she was trying to apologize, or—I dunno,” Tom shrugs, picking at his thumb idly, “didn’t seem like she wanted to say the words, a little lousy if you ask me—“
“Did you want an apology?” You ask, interrupting his rambling, his eyes shooting up to you in an instant.
“Doesn’t matter anymore,” Tom admits, “it’s been weeks—and I can’t be bothered to care about it. I’m just tryin’ to move on.”
He had—but the progress was stagnant.
And standing right in front of him.
You nod slowly, dissecting his words.
“So, just the wood and some linens?” Tom asks randomly, pointing toward the stack your hand was still resting on.
“Uh, yeah—I was in a hurry,” You lie, “wanted to get home.”
“We still on for tonight?” Tom asks hopefully, “Dinner ‘n a movie, like you promised?”
His smile is wide, soft and welcoming. It has your heart clenching in your chest.
“Of course, when have I ever flaked on you?”
“You’re right,” Tom agrees, “—-Oh uh, James came by a couple hours ago with linens, you know?”
You feel your throat close, heart skipping a beat.
“So, unless you’re lyin’ to me,” Tom starts playfully, his eyes driving a stake through your chest, “—I mean, did you—“
“Yes,” You answer quickly, “I’m—it wasn’t on purpose. You weren’t out there, I went lookin’. I really shouldn’t have, but—“
“M’suprised you haven’t caught me before,” Tom says quietly, looking away briefly toward the door, “—still, I’m sorry.”
“Tom, you have a home, a shower there,” You laugh softly, “it really couldn’t wait?”
“Just one of those days,” Tom defends weakly, “Ruth’s got me all wound up and—got this thing on my mind that won’t go away, nothin’ helps.”
You shame your head in dismay, glancing at the floor as you inches closer, only a few centimeters away as you leaned similar as he, “Look, I’m sorry for…intruding, but you really shouldn’t let her bother you that much—she’s gone, she made it clear she didn’t plan on coming back.”
“And what about you,” Tom presses, tilting his chin up in a way to refer toward you, “over your ex, too?”
“For weeks, actually,” You counter, “see how easy that is?”
Tom raises his eyebrows slightly in question, noticing the creeping smile on your face, feeling the air thicken, the tension rise, “M’not stuck on her,” Tom says adamantly, “all her things ‘r gone, all of it—I’m just trying to deal..with everything.”
“Care to elaborate?” You pester him, wondering why he was trying to seem so closed off now, “Or—I can help, actually…”
And it’s bold, even for you—but things were easy with Tom. There wasn’t any pressure or standards to meet, it was always comfort and vulnerability with him. You’d both bared yourselves, at least figuratively, to a point that nothing could scare you away.
“But, you walked away,” Tom pauses, breath catching as your hands extends toward his slightly wet shirt, having not dried himself completely before pulling it on, “you could’ve—could’ve—“
“Hmm?” You question, fingers playing with the thick waistband of his sweats, cock still pressing hard and heavy against the fabric.
“The showers,” Tom finally gets out, “I wouldn’t have cared, I’m not like that—“
“Not like—“ You trail off, wondering what his point was.
“Kinda like the idea of you watchin’ me,” He admits, his stomach clenching as your fingers slipped inside, rubbing over the thin material of his boxers, pressing against the small wet patch that was already there, clueing you into just how bad Tom was aching, physically and mentally, “never finished in the shower, heard you come in but I just—I needed to see you first, thought talking to you would help but—god, every time I even look at you now—“
You shush him softly, gently maneuvering him by the hips until he’s pressed against the adjacent shelf, hidden away from the door but giving you enough of a view that if anyone were to come in, you could easily hide yourselves—not that it wouldn't be blatantly apparent what you were doing.
Tom panics for a brief moment, thinking back to how embarrassing it had been for Ruth to go down on him all for naught—at first he did blame himself, hard. But, he realized that a lot of his buried suspicions and doubts were causing most of the disinterest.
Not that that was the case with you. It was far from it, but still, he’s expecting this to go horrible.
Until it doesn’t.
And you knew about the situation, a little of it, from what Tom had told you. It was in passing, talking about how weird Ruth had been acting and how badly it had turned him off. You wanted him to forget about it, all of it.
“S’been a long time.” Tom adds, brown furrowing as you reached for the band of his sweats and yanked them down, cock springing free from his underwear as they went to, hanging around mid thigh as you peered up at him, hanging on every word—and that sight alone is enough to kill him.
“Just shut up and enjoy it,” You snark at him playfully, relaxing when huffs out a quiet laugh, carding his fingers around the side of your head and through your hair, watching your delicate fingers wrap around him, contrasting the blushing red tinged head, thumb sliding over the slit as you pulled the skin back, “don’t want to hear another word of her from your mouth, Tom.”
He nods jerkily, breathing hard through his nose at the first touch of your lips to his throbbing head, his cock pulsing in your hand from how hard he was, how long he’d been like this—you start with a testing lick over the head, watching as his head thud against the shelves, creaking slightly from the weight of him. “Not—not a word.” He agrees, swallowing tensely as you take him in your mouth in one full motion, tongue flattening against the underside until he’s pressing against the back of your throat before you’re pulling off again and repeating your actions, slower so he doesn’t lose his mind, but he’s teetering there and you can see it.
“Hope s’not for nothing but I thought about this a lot,” Tom confesses in his haze of arousal, “your mouth, your lips—it’s, fuck—you lick them a lot when you talk, it’s why you’re always complaining—about them being chapped,” Tom groans at a particular squeeze of his head near the back of your throat, the fingers, “where the fuck did you learn to suck cock like this?”
Tom slips back into his comfort area easily, rambling on and on above you—but it’s keeping his mind off Ruth and that’s exactly what you want, even if it is letting on a little more than you expect from you friend, however, you were the one with your mouth around his cock, so you weren’t in any position to judge.
And it’s almost as if Tom can read your mind, “Can’t keeping going on like this as your friend, love—“ His hips are rocking into your mouth now, slow and rhythmic as the shelves creak with every movement, his groans growing longer and louder with every small gurgle or moan that you make, letting him fuck himself into your mouth until he can’t handle it any longer, pulling you away with a small warning, “—fuck, where—where can I—“
You wrap your hand around the one of his that’s holding his cock, pressing it against your parted lips until he gets the idea, nodding as swats your hand away, his eyes squeezing shut as he comes, groaning out a whiney, “Fucking hell.” as the salty, heady taste of him hits your tongue, his hand slowly jerks him through the aftershocks before he’s heaving a long sigh, leaning his full weight against the shelf.
And thank god they were bolted down, because Tom hasn’t looked this spent in a while. He reaches blindly for a linen sheet, motioning for you to stand.
“God, if I could keep you like this,” He speaks idly, having made a mess over your mouth, cheeks, some of it having spilled down your neck, “you look—“ Tom huffs in disbelief, “can’t fuckin’ believe you.”
Tom shales his head once more, trying to stifle the smile that threatened to slip through as he wiped the remains of his cum away from your face, gingerly as he titled your face up to wipe at your neck before balling the cloth up and tossing it in the dirty laundry bin.
“Wanna finish that sentence you were in the middle of?” You tease, moving away for a brief moment as Tom redressed before brushing your tousled hair away from your face, warm hands pressing against the side of your neck.
He doesn’t hide his smile this time, sucking his bottom lip between his teeth and chewing, a terrible habit that left it raw and bleeding some days. Your thumb pulls at the soft skin of his lip, rubbing it over the wet spot he’d created there.
“Do you fancy me, Tom?” You say quietly, teasing him further. “Is that why you’re cooking for me all the time? Bringing me breakfast in the mornings?”
“You do the same for me,” He defends, jokingly offended, “why—you wanna cuppa?”
You snort into your hand, pulling away to hide the loud laugh that escapes you.
“What—what did I say?” Tom asks, wide eyed and confused.
“Nothin’—just, I came here to drop off a delivery, now we’re standing here after I had your cock in my mouth and you’re trying to offer me a cup of tea?”
Tom nods slowly, “Yeah—Yeah, seems I am. What—you love my tea.”
“I do, I do.” You quickly agree.
“So, back to my place then?” Tom asks, his thumb rubbing at the line of your jaw, touch still hot against your skin from where he’s holding you. “Unless you have more linens to put away–”
“Oh, fuck off.” You mumble, shoving him away lightly.
It was the last time you ever heard him speak about Ruth–and for Tom’s sake, he’s thankful for that.

I'm not accustomed to making requests (I'm embarrasingly new to Tumblr still) but I was wondering, are there any yanderes that would get worse after the reader returns post Godwyn's death / The Shattering? Like for example, maybe some Elden Ring yanderes were already overbearing before the Shattering occurs and their behavior only gets ten times worse once everything goes down. I bet it would be super scary for the dreamer too, because they've just returned and probably doesn't even know what happened while they were gone. You can ignore this request if it isn't interesting enough! To be fair I'm just rambling here, haha.
Don't worry about requesting, it's a little nerve racking at first, but you get used to it.
So there are some yanderes I think get worse post-shattering. These are namely Marika/Radagon, Ranni, and Malenia. For Marika/Radagon, you being gone so long affected them so much. They both tried constantly to find a way to bring you back, but their reasonings for why they think you left were very different. They both know that your powers played a role in it, but Radagon is much more aware of your aversion to them as time goes on. It wasn't as though Marika didn't recognize the change in behavior, she just didn't care. She believed showering you in gifts would be enough to quell you of your fears, but obviously that wasn't the case. Your disappearance is a big factor for Marika's choice to break the Elden Ring, the death of her son just being a nail in the coffin. If you somehow returned, I do think they'd be able to tell. Even while connected, even while stuck in the Erd Tree, they can feel a change in the air, you're home and they just long to hold you once more. I don't really know how "alive" they are, or if their body has just deteriorated after years of being kept away, but they will do anything to get to you, even siding with the Tarnished. They no longer care, the only thing that kept them going was you, the taught and memory of you, and they refuse to loose you again. Even if you've changed, gotten older, forgotten them, they do not care.
When it comes to Ranni, she has a lot of complicated feelings about reader. You're confused and scared about your powers and this world and to a sense, she can relate to you. She was once naive about her place in the world and she struggled to understand where she belonged. It's the realization that the Golden Order is archaic and should be replaced that makes her realize how useful you can be. You are the apple to Marika's eyes, and if Ranni were to take you, it be a much easier way to set her plan into motion. But of course she can't do that, because you disappear. I think Ranni spends a long time trying connect to you through dreams, but is unsuccessful. For a long time, she assumes you're dead, and even long after she's shed her old Empyrean skin, she still finds herself longing to find you. So when you return, she finds herself drawn to you once more. You're older, more mature, but very clearly shaken by something you thought was a dream. She and her group become a haven for you, protecting you from the evil this world has become, and Ranni finds herself one of the last few things from her childhood that isn't tainted. She has Blaidd, but her relationship with his is different, even if they did grow up together. You're honest, and normal, and real in a way she didn't know she needed. She promises to protect you from everything in this world until the time comes where she can bring on her Age of Stars, and then she will find a way to keep you by her side forever.
Finally we have Malenia. The twins relationship with you runs much deeper than the others. Miquella was the first one to meet you, he's the one who introduced you to his sister, and you were their first and really only friend outside their own family. When you disappeared Miquella was racked with so many emotions, and Malenia felt incapable of comforting him. You meant so much to him, and so maybe that's why he tried so hard to get you back. Malenia, after you left, neglected a lot of her health, and her brother had to watch the rot deteriorate her. She went along with her brothers plans to help her, but their was only so much she could do as she traveled all over the Lands Between to mitigate the strife between her siblings. It was a childish way to deal with her emotions, but as her brother got more and more engrossed in his work, she felt alone. All she wanted to do was see her brother again, her other half. She waited for him to emerge from his tree, and as the days went by, she found herself missing her childhood, missing you. But then you returned, you were back in the Haligtree, back in your bed, like the first time she met you. She found herself missing her sight for the first time in years, for she wished to see how you changed. But she moved past it, and promised you that Miquella would be here soon, and that he will be so happy to see that you've returned. She's so happy to have her family back again.
Now there are characters that become yanderes after the shattering. If were going off of this post I made a while ago, Fia would become yandere for reader as an extension os Godwyn's feelings. Blaidd might even be the same, where because of his connection to Ranni his feelings for you also become warped. I don't know, I think it's interesting.

TELL US YOUR PK HEADCANONS!!! (if you wanna)
Oh HELL yeah
I’ve already said a bunch of these on ig… but you guys get to have more 😈😈
putting a cut here bc it’s fuckin long lol 💀💀
My fan name for him is Astennu!! Means god of the moon.. and WL’s name is Faraway :D
pan/polygamous: ]
autistic ofc bc I love projecting he's very bad at masking too, he's good at keeping up one specific persona (typical cold ruler mask..) but as soon as someone doesn't act the exact way he expects them to do he doesn't know how to react, and the mask slips, very practiced and good but only in very specific circumstances, another reason why he's so antisocial
he is good at heart and has strong morals, but they're usually overpowered by fear, so he usually just does what's easiest instead of what's right, even though it hurts him more in the long run
he doesn't give a shit about gender, everyone just started calling him a guy and he was like "ok lol"
likes singing and is quite good at it too!! (or. in the case of my au, he was before his voice got messed up)
NO spacial awareness whatsoever, always gets lost in thought, constantly bumping into shit, , he has a bunch of gnarly scars just from that
his godly powers are too much for his mortal-ish body, he regularly gets sick bevause of them, and it was even worse before he used most of them to create hallownest, he was basically permanently in pain lol LOSER
he can't control his glow, so it betrays his emotions a lot (and he can accidentally flashbang people when he feels really strong emotions)
refuses to be vulnerable at all. pushes everyone away, somewhat consciously too, believing himself to be a burden and that they'd be better off without him
drinks literally nothing but coffee {or the hallownest equivalent to it anyway)
very bad memory (projecting again)
he doesn't know how to interact with. people. much less be a parent. he's a terrible parent LOL he tries but he's just not good at it whatsoever
kind of a shitty immune system due to his powers making him sick so often, another reason he's reclusive
ameteur painter (he doesn't understand it much but it makes lurien really happy so)
his special interest is just. inventing intricate technology in general, he completely hyper focuses on it and would spend literal days doing it if it wasn't for wl dragging him out of his workshop LOL
EXTREMELY deadpan and can be very rude without realising it
Stuff always gets stuck in his horns and he usually doesn’t notice until it gets pointed out (which usually take hours bc wl and lurien think it’s funny lol)
Literally does not know how to make connections with people whatsoever every connection he has made has been accidental
dating both lurien and wl obviously 🫶🫶🫶(wl is also dating dryya but I haven’t put much thought into that one yet I should) the gods do not care for monogamy
Hmm.. for his relationships with some of the other characters..
realising that I have not fleshed out his relationship with wl really omg what’s wrong with me I need to fix that ☹️☹️ but uh here’s the other characters for now lol
him and lurien are both deranged autism buddies <33 lurien does not take any form of authority seriously at all, and doesn’t like taking orders (pathological demand avoidance, autistic thing, pretty sure I have it lol) and so.. he never like. acted like pk was a god. he just treated him like a normal person. and pk had no clue how to react to that so he could not keep up his mask around lurien at all.. so eventually they ended up realising they have common interests and ended up becoming friends.. and later.. hmmm?? they are both incredibly awkward and socially inept lol so it took way longer to happen then it should 💀
but yeah they have a very funky dynamic LOL they can talk for hours about their common interests <3 and hmm.. their dynamic is basically this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He never thought that much of herrah other than being vaguely scared of her;; but she fucking hated him LOL she thought he was an inept cowardly moron
but.. the more time she spent as queen, she grew to understand him a lot more as she felt how much that role and pressure could tear someone down
She still doesn’t like him that much, but she understands why he is the way he is now, and tries to be nicer bevause she knows how it feels
He and monomon have a very weird relationship.. they’re kinda friends but also kinda fucking hate each other LOL;; like;; theyre really fucking mean and hostile to each other but it’s not really genuine, it’s more out of habit than anything, and they do care about each other and look out for each other, it’s just sort of the manifestation of them both being emotionally inept assholes who don’t know how to communicate, so they sorta take it out on each other, but neither of them mind, they know neither of them actually mean it
so yeah sorta like;; idk weird ass friendship where they both pretend to hate each other to vent at how shit the world is but they both know neither of them mean it bevause the anger isn’t directed at each other at all, and it’s kinda become a game between them who can come up with the most ridiculous insults LOL
Uhhh I guess that’s it lol!! Yeah I said there was a lot 💀 if you have any questions or more headcanon ideas for me… well you know where to find me 💜💜

✦ On Camera Personality:
cards: ten of cups, strength, hierophant (three of cups)
On camera, Jennie tries to come off as wholesome and put-together as possible, as she's extremely aware of her position and the responsibilities and expectations associated with it. This image, though, is almost too perfect; it's heavily idealized. She's trying to keep up a front that is flawless; the appearance of someone who has reached peak happiness in life. However, this is due to her wanting to avoid looking ungrateful or to give people more ammunition against her. At this point, she knows more or less what people like, and what will keep them from turning on her, so that's what she resorts to. It is very hard for her to get a foot out of the square she has drawn around her, which leads to her looking a little too restrained and unresponsive at times, but it keeps her safe - both idol Jennie and "real life" Jennie. At last, as much as she lacks vulnerability and raw emotion when she's on camera, she serves as a very good pillar of strength and as a stabilizer when everything/everyone else is disordely or overly emotional. Specially when she is around the other Blackpink members, she can provide some balance to make sure it all runs smoothly even when all of the members are pulling the rope in different directions.
✦ Off Camera Personality:
cards: ten of swords (moon reversed, ace of swords), king of pentacles, justice
When she's off camera, her exhaustion, anxiety and fears come all crashing down on her. Because she doesn't have to pretend to be perfect and happy any longer, she lets all of her walls down and surrenders herself completely to the negativity that she was forced to push away while on camera. Unlike Rosé (as we saw here), who is constantly going over these things whenever she's going about her normal life, Jennie might just let it all out in one big cry and move on. Truly, she just seeks to find clarity and peace of mind, so facing the dark side of her mind and heart is necessary for her in those particular moments. At the same, though, we can see that off camera Jennie is extremely dependable, stable and disciplined. She takes her commitments very seriously, both personally and in regards to her career. Plus, building long-term financial security is a very big focus for her, so she might spend a lot of her time creating connections and learning about new business opportunities that could help her achieve that goal. It might even surprise some people to see how much more serious and logical Jennie is in real life, compared to the image she puts out when she's on camera. She's a no-nonsense person, honest and fair; she has no problem letting her truths out, and neither is she easily manipulated by others.
✦ What off camera personality traits would she like to show on camera?
cards: four of pentacles, chariot, two of wands
I don't think Jennie has a lot more that she wants to show on camera, to be completely honest. She's pretty satisfied with the control that she has due to her image, and how it allows her to keep certain things private and away from public scrutiny. If anything, she'd just like to show more of her ambitious, disciplined and driven side - perhaps behind the scenes things, when she's making deals and leading a team in a creative project. Additionally, it feels like she'd enjoy if people showed more recognition for her vision and creativity, as well as for her potential outside of just being an idol. However, in that sense, she might actually be looking into finding ways to show that off in the future. It could be through a number of very diversified projects, or even through personal content (on her youtube channel, for example).

5. How did you figure out your oc's identity?
For any and all of them <3
Hi, Wash! Thanks for the ask <3
link to the ask game
5. How did you figure out your oc's identity?
Crystal - in games as immersive as Cyberpunk 2077, my default choice for identity is fem lesbian, as that's who I am myself. Oh, and even before playing I was aware of Judy ...existing, so it felt natural to make Crystal lesbian.
Thalia - after creating her 2076 nomad self and thinking more about her personality, it just kinda felt right to make her aro/ace. I've been wanting to explore the concept of platonic love for some time now, which might have influenced my decision too. I want to show the deep connection she has with Crystal and that's my no. 1 focus right now!
Evie - I made her so she and my partner's OC could be Red Dead girlfriends together, but most of her significant backstory focused on her coming of age, learning to be self-sufficient and taking care of her aging father figure. To emphasize her growing up I came up with a kind boy from nearby Strawberry she fell in love with. That's how she ended up being bisexual. She remembers him fondly and she wears his old jacket on daily basis.
EV - Well, EV is supposed to be the Cyberpunk 2077 version of my Red Dead Evie. However, after thinking a lot about what she would be like in 2077, I decided on her having a completely different personality. I don't have a lot on her, so I can't explain it well, but she just doesn't strike me as someone thinking about sex or gender at all. She's attracted to people she feels a strong connection with. That's why I decided to make her pansexual.
Gwen - so in the original Saints Row you can only play as a male character. Saints Row 2 finally lets you create a girl, so that's what I did, because there are too few crime games with female protagonists. Turns out, there's a running joke where characters constantly ask the protagonist whether they did something with their hair, to account for potential changes in appearance between games. At this point it was settled for me - I'm not retconning my SR1 character, she's canonically a proud punk trans girl. As for her sexual orientation, I didn't think about it a lot so I just made her lesbian when I was writing my current pinned post.
Crimson - Metal Gear Survive character creator and animations are based off MGSV ones, where you could only create a masculine character. No matter the choice of body type, bone structure remains masculine. That gave me a great idea to make Crimson trans and make it an important part of her story. She got drafted during the Vietnam War and, long story short, after spending some time there, she joined MSF as a mercenary, where all that mattered were her combat skills - not her origin nor identity. The leader - Snake - helped her embrace her true self and transition. Her gratitude to him is a big part of her personality. Also her being a sniper rifle-wielding trans woman in the 1970s makes her so badass. She's aro/ace, because she's dedicated to her mission - fighting for peace and creating a place for other soldiers forgotten/exploited by their nations - that reason might sound dumb, but it fits Metal Gear.

Text wall after this pic of the absolutely ridiculous pre storm sunrise from work yesterday.
CW for mentions of DV/SA/general trauma
Tumblr media
On being a survivor of violence and touch starvation:
Humans are primates, and primates are social creatures. Primates live in groups and spend a huge portion of time grooming socially. Touching, to reinforce the group bonds. Humans are primates and we need physical contact the same way primates do. Our brains don’t uptake serotonin correctly or make dopamine in the correct amounts without consistent physical contact from other humans. It’s a simple biological fact. A necessity born of evolution.
So. Where does that leave a person with a history of domestic violence and sexual assault? For me personally this is a huge conflict. I am constantly touch starved. I also generally hate touching 99.9999 percent of people. I’m jumpy and my limbic system exist in a state of high idling. I was out with friends last night and flinched so visibly when one of them touched me on the arm unexpectedly that she apologized profusely several times. And I hate it. I hate that every time I go to touch someone I have to talk my body back from a ledge. It’s always a conscious choice. But I WANT to be touched. I want to be held and comforted, to feel safe and like I’m a part of the human race. It’s such a mindfuck. This is something I need to have to be healthy, but that my body and brain were trained to understand as dangerous from an early age. And it doesn’t help that so many people conflate intimate touch with sex. And by intimate I mean cuddling, actually sleeping with someone, running your fingers through someone’s hair, holding hands, the sort of half hour long hugs you need when you have to breakdown sometimes. All of those things are things that we are biologically hard wired to need as a species. It isn’t about sex, it’s about being human and a part of the humanity around you. It’s about closeness and connection and safety. But it’s so damned hard when all your experiences teach you that you can’t have any of that because either there will be expectations attached or any hand offered comes in the form of a closed fist. And I don’t have a solution to this, I don’t know what the answer is. I’m just frustrated and tired and apparently in need of a proper platonic cuddle. I only know that I had dream about being held while I cried it out a couple of weeks ago and woke up feeling better rested than I have in years. That dream has such a chokehold on me that I wake up with my own hand gripping my hair down to the scalp most mornings. This all just screaming into the void. And to raise some public awareness about how important touch is, but how complicated it is our society and how fraught it is for those of us with trauma related to physical touch. We need to be human too.

An Error in Science
The enigmas of alchemy and the potential of scientific experimentation have long attracted Albedo. On the other hand, Aether is constantly eager to support his friend as he does study and tests out new hypotheses. Albedo makes the decision to try a dangerous experiment one day that entails using the ley lines' strength to find a new recipe. Aether hesitates at first, but ultimately decides to help Albedo with the experiment.
Nonetheless, the experiment immediately goes awry. A surge of energy explodes from the gadget as a result of Albedo's incorrect estimation of the amount of energy needed to activate the ley lines, knocking both Albedo and Aether to the ground. Aether awakens to find himself bleeding profusely from a severe wound on his arm. As soon as Albedo realized that his experiment had hurt his friend, he was overcome with shame and sadness.
Albedo is left on his alone to think about his errors as Aether is hurried to the neighboring hospital tent. In his laboratory, he spends the wee hours of the night attempting to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. He can't forgive himself for what happened since he is so overcome with guilt and regret.
Aether is healing from his wounds while also gradually forgiving Albedo. He is aware that even the most accomplished alchemists can have mishaps and that his friend never intended to harm him. Albedo receives a message from Aether assuring him that he is not upset and that he wants to assist him in moving on.
Albedo and Aether collaborate on a strategy to undo the harm the experiment did. They invest endless hours in the lab running tests and experiments to figure out how to fix the ley lines and bring the area's balance back. They are able to complete their task thanks to their cooperation and tenacity.
Albedo ultimately gains insight into the perils of careless experimentation and the significance of accountability. In turn, Aether gains the ability to forgive and comprehend the intricacies of scientific inquiry. The two friends come out of the experience more connected and stronger than ever before, prepared to take on any difficulties that may come their way.

Hustle Culture: The Dark Side of Productivity
Tumblr media
Do you ever feel restless even when you're supposed to be resting? Do you ever lie on your back after a long day at work and still feel like you could have done more? Are you like me, never satisfied with how limited 24 hours is in a day? Do you also feel like you're always running out of time? If so, you might have fallen prey to hustle culture.
Forbes said in one of their articles that hustle culture "teaches us that there’s always more: more money to make, a bigger title or promotion, and a higher wall to climb," and it sounds enticing - inspiring, even. Especially in these fast-paced times where productivity and efficiency are praised and even redefining what success is. Communication these days happens with a touch of a button, a swipe of a finger, and even with an order to virtual assistant bots. Many tasks can now be automated, enabling us to produce more, almost to the point of exhaustion. It's not wrong to be productive, but we should also ask ourselves, "at what cost?"
With information so readily available, there seems to be no excuse to go beyond our humanness. We tend to forget fundamental things in life like rest, reflection, and connection. In my case, the implication of being caught up in hustle culture is the obsession with doing things quickly and sometimes all at the same time. 24 hours never seem to be enough. My sleep is always disrupted by my urge to do more, so even when I am resting, I am never truly resting. Although not easy, there are ways to unlearn this and prioritize balance. Here are some things I've been keeping in mind that I hope can help others as well.
Self-awareness: By consciously observing my feelings and behavior, I can recognize my motivations and unhealthy habits and understand why I behave in certain ways. From there, I try to choose how to respond to those feelings and behaviors intentionally. This also allows me to reframe my mindset and make my habits work for me.
Setting boundaries: The work-from-home setup helped me focus on the things I love to do, but it was also challenging to identify when to stop "working." So I set boundaries for myself by dividing my personal spaces and workspace. I also made sure to set different ringtones for my work alarm and personal alarm. I stopped entertaining work communications after clocking out. This helped prevent burnout and maintain work-life balance.
Prioritizing rest: One of the many things I learned from the book "Essentialism" is the importance of good quality sleep. It is often neglected by those caught in hustle culture because they feel like they could be spending their idle time doing more important and productive things, forgetting, underappreciating, and underestimating the power of good sleep and how it helps us work with exquisite quality. People caught up in hustle culture also often ignore their body's call for rest when they are fatigued or sick. Not only is it unhealthy, but it also impedes our potential to do better.
Being kind to myself: Like any other addiction, it's not easy to unlearn the obsession with productivity and efficiency, so I constantly remind myself that it's okay to surrender to the urge to do more sometimes. I shouldn't beat myself up more than I already do. Being kind to myself also allows me to pat myself on the back and tell myself that I don't have to be perfect and do everything all at once.
My change in behavior really started when I realized how badly I used to treat myself. I learned that I had a very low sense of self-worth because, growing up, I placed my value in my ability to make my family proud. My parents would often tell their friends how smart, artistic, and beautiful I was, and they would pressure me to join contest after contest, ace test after test, and earn honor after honor. So when I was idle, which I mean resting, I felt like I wasn't doing something meaningful. From there, I became addicted to getting things done. It was a different kind of high. Not being able to tick things off my to-do list made me feel guilty and anxious. That's when I knew it was a problem.
Fortunately, I was able to reframe my mind and acknowledge that I can deserve good things even if I didn't have to bleed for them. I realized that I should not punish myself for resting and that my productivity does not define me as a successful person. Lastly, I figured out that I can have ambitions without it costing me my physical and mental health.

Cat-astrophe! Avoid It WITH ONE OF THESE Cat Tips!
cat claws A cat can be quite a great pet. In the end, they don't must be walked, dislike baths and seem to manage themselves. However, there are some things you must do for them, despite the fact that they may not think so. Here are several kitty tips that one could follow to provide your cat a great life. Before acquiring a cat, make sure that you have the wherewithal to deal with all necessary vet care. Cats reproduce at an alarming rate, and spaying or neutering is essential to keeping cat population in order. Check spay, neuter and vaccination costs and packages with local vets and clinics and become sure you can afford to provide your cat proper medical care. To help keep your cat happy and healthy, its vital that you schedule regular visits to the vet. Not merely are regular checkups best for catching problems early, but regular visits can insure that your cat keeps up-to-date on its vaccinations. Unless you know once the last time your cat had its shots, schedule an appointment for booster shots immediately. Cats sometimes will spend hours grooming themselves to perfection. Your cat's long hair can cause hair balls. You can find special foods you can share with your cat to lessen this issue. Some cat foods are specially formulated to help reduce hairballs, which is good for both you as well as your pet. Get your cat sprayed and neutered to prevent diseases and infections that form in the reproductive system. This may also help reduce the chance for overpopulation in the united kingdom, as just one single male who is not neutered can produce up to half a million offspring during the period of his life. If you likely to be gone for greater than a day, you should have someone look in on your own cat. Leave out a lot of food, but have someone arrived at make sure it generally does not run out. If you do not have a neighbor or family to look in on your own cat, you can usually find a cat sitter for a couple dollars each day. While children should help with the care and responsibilities of a cat, leave the litterbox duties to the grownups or older children. A cat's litterbox can carry diseases and parasites. Since younger children may not follow proper handwashing procedures, this job is better left to those older and much more responsible. Most cats want to lounge directly on your lap. As cozy as this can be, it isn't always convenient. If your cat includes a favorite spot, such as on your lap at the computer it could be hard to get things done. Getting a pet bed for the cat and perching it right next to your chair might help satisfy your cats must be near you. Ensure that your cat has identification and a collar constantly. That is essential, even for indoor pets. Cats are curious creatures and an open door or window is likely to be explored. It is just a good idea to add your own phone number together with the name and contact amount of your veterinarian. This is very critical if your feline has specific medical issues. Protect your cat as well as your kid by demonstrating the proper way to show affection for the pet. Few things are more appealing to children compared to the sight of a soft, fluffy cat, plus they might be tempted to hug or squeeze the animal. Instead, teach your son or daughter to allow the animal to come to you instead of pursuing it. Inform them to use a light touch and prevent making direct eye connection with the cat Clean your cat's kitty litter box. Cats will use litter boxes on instinct should they know where to find it. Let your cat go naturally and don't manually force it to put into practice putting it in the box or pushing it to scratch the litter. Keep carefully the box in an exclusive place, scoop its contents every day and give it a periodic wash. Cats get sick from lots of the same things as humans. Your cat lives in your household and that means you are more aware that it's not feeling well than anyone else. Always take your cat to the vet in the event that you suspect illness. This way the vet can eliminate other more serious conditions. When listening to your preferred music, remember that your cat's hearing is a lot more sensitive than your personal. Music with high pitched treble and thumping bass are particularly difficulty for the cat, so keep the volume low. To please your cat and help him relax, play something with a slower tempo. Watch your pet carefully for signs of illness. If you see your cat suddenly eating less, drinking more, seeming increasingly lazy or hiding from individuals who she normally loves, this could be an indicator that something is medically wrong. In such cases, visit your veterinarian to get your kitty checked out as soon as possible. Your cat might not think he needs you, but he does. If you use the tips in this posting, you can create yourself a lot more necessary. These tips can help keep your cat healthy and happy, so give all of them a try. You can also search out more tips, which means that your cat gets the best life possible.

How Marketers Can Use AI
AI can perform parts of the marketing process — such as task automation, campaign personalization, and data analysis — so you can spend less on repetitive tasks and more on strategy.
For example, our HubSpot mobile app has a business card scanner that uses AI to pick out the name, email address, and other contact information on a business card and map them to your HubSpot properties. Instead of spending time manually entering this data yourself, the AI automates the process for you.
The Pros and Cons of AI
So, now you know what AI is, how it works, and the four types of AI — let's get into the pros and cons of AI technology.
The Pros of Artificial Intelligence
Fewer errors
Humans can make mistakes, miss deadlines, misspell words, and get the math wrong. Sometimes we're distracted or going through burnout; it's human nature. By implementing an AI-ran automated system, you're lessening the risk of errors.
24/7 Uptime
AI also doesn't need rest and can run 24/7. AI's can run constantly and consistently for as long as it's programmed to. This makes AI more ideal than humans for repetitive tasks, allowing marketers and business owners to focus their efforts elsewhere.
Can analyze large data sets quickly
As I mentioned earlier, humans sometimes make mistakes — especially when processing large data sets. A solution would be to work slower to prevent errors, but time is money in marketing.
Fortunately, AI machines can quickly process large amounts of information and data, making them more efficient than humans in a deadline crunch.
The Cons of Artificial Intelligence
Lack of creativity
AI is programmed to react to stimuli based solely on data from the past, meaning they're not currently suitable for creating innovative solutions. Data from the past can help predict future outcomes, but data alone isn't always enough to address a never-before-seen variable.
Therefore, AI would be better suited for "grunt" or mundane work. From a marketing perspective, humans can develop a creative marketing strategy, while AI can take care of the repetitive tasks that implement the plan.
Impersonal
Sometimes, human connection is the best way to forge a closer relationship with your audience. While a self-aware AI is possible in the future, current AI machines cannot perfectly mimic the human experience.
From a marketing perspective, implementing AI in every customer interaction can create a rift between you and your audience. I mean, there's a reason many of us can recall shouting, "speak to a representative!" when we're tired of speaking to a robot on the phone.
The Future of AI in Marketing
According to Grand View Research, the global AI market is expected to reach $1,811.8 billion by 2030, up from $136.6 billion in 2022.
Artificial intelligence, theory of mind, and self-aware machines all sound like things from a distant future. Still, the reality is AI is here now, and its impact across industries will likely grow in the years to come.
While AI has pros and cons, it's important marketers stay tuned in to its advancements and be open to using AI to streamline certain processes to keep up with competitors.

PERSONALITY
Sophia has a vibrant and magnetic personality that draws others toward her. She has this sort of warmth that instantly makes her likable to everyone she meets. Her overly-trusting nature lets the wrong people in and close to her. But it’s truly her recklessness and impulsiveness that can lead Sophia to make hasty decisions without fully considering the consequences. She can be naive at times, lacking awareness of potential pitfalls that lead her down a dark path which causes her to lie as a means to cover up the mistakes she’s made. Additionally, Sophia’s stubbornness can make it challenging for her to change her perspective or learn from those same past mistakes.
WRITTEN BY: Marie (she/her), pst.
BACKGROUND / BIO
content warning / triggering topics: drugs, death
Meet Sophia Sinclair, a 29-year-old artist, and socialite born in Merrock, Maine to wealthy art collector parents. She grew up surrounded by the city's high society and Sophia inherited her parents' passion for all things artistic from an early age, along with a hefty trust fund and bank account to fall back on. She spent most of her life in Merrock but moved to New York for college and moved to the Upper East Side — the place that truly changed her forever.
[tw drug abuse, death] After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Fine Arts, Sophia quickly made a name for herself in the New York art scene, becoming yet another famous Sinclair. She started as a curator for art shows and would be asked to create pieces for large-scale events like the Met Gala. She was a favorite among the elites for her creativity and beauty - being asked to model for an array of designers. She is known for throwing lavish parties and events, attended by New York's elite. Her charm and outgoing personality have earned her a reputation as a socialite and influencer, and she is often seen at fashion shows, charity events, and other high-profile gatherings. This lifestyle allowed for frequent and easy access to drugs of all kinds, and while she appeared to have it put together on the outside she hid that side of her from her friends and family.
One night at a party she hosted, one of her infamous best friends overindulged too much in ‘party favours’ and something bad happened. Sophia blocks out that night and nobody knows who did what exactly, but it resulted in their untimely passing. Her parents used their connections to tie up any loose ends and it never made its way to the media. But they also threatened to leak the news and to cut Sophia off if she didn’t sober up and move back to Merrock. So she was sent packing back to her original home all alone with a gallery to run. She's been clean for 6 months, but still enjoys the occasional glass of wine or 2 as her love for her pristine image weighs on her shoulders.
Fifi is deeply passionate about her art and takes her craft seriously. She spends long hours in her studio, working on new pieces and perfecting her technique. She is constantly seeking newer, younger artists to bring to her gallery and is always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of the art world. Sophia's social media presence is strong, with a large following and she is also a philanthropist, supporting various causes related to the arts and education. Her wardrobe’s filled with carefully curated pieces that reflect her unique style and artistic sensibilities. Each outfit she wears is a statement-making masterpiece that blends vintage and modern elements in a way that only she could pull off. She pays close attention to the smallest details, always ensuring that every accessory and piece of jewelry is perfectly placed to complete the overall look. Her love for classic films, books, and art continues to be a source of inspiration for her, yet Sophia can't help but feel tempted to return to that high-paced, erratic lifestyle.

How To Spot The Early Warning Signs Of A Porn Addiction
No one ever expects to get addicted to porn. It happens gradually, sometimes without the person even realizing it. But there are warning signs that can be spotted early on, before addiction takes hold. Here are some of the key things to look out for…
You're spending more and more time alone, instead of with friends or family
Spending time alone can be a wonderful experience, as it allows us to take a break from socializing and connect with ourselves. Unfortunately, if done in excess, it can be a warning sign for deeper issues. Now is the time to evaluate why you're feeling disconnected from family and friends, and reflect on whether this pattern of solitude is healthy or not. Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed by your responsibilities and need some space to yourself, or maybe you simply need to initiate more conversations so that you stay connected. Whatever the case may be, taking preventative steps now could help improve your overall wellbeing in the long term.
You're frequently using porn as a way to relieve stress or boredom
As one who feels constantly overwhelmed, it comes as no surprise that I find myself repeatedly turning to pornography for a brief respite from the demands of daily life. Watching porn is an easy way for me to relax and cope with stress, although I would never encourage it as a substitute for mental health treatment or healthy coping strategies. Unfortunately, it's become too frequent and habitual a practice, but I'm aware of the risks associated with relying on pornography as the main source of entertainment and stress relief. With this knowledge in hand, I'm actively working towards limiting my consumption so that I can enjoy more meaningful activities with lasting benefits.
You're hiding your porn use from your partner or spouse
While it may seem entirely reasonable to keep the extent of your porn use private from your partner or spouse, doing so can be counterproductive. While you may have felt that hiding your usage was a necessary precaution, talking about it openly with your significant other could be beneficial for both of you. Sure, there might be awkward moments and some difficult conversations, but honestly it will likely strengthen trust between the two of you in the long run. Working as a team to ensure a healthy and respectful relationship is something every couple should strive for.
Your work or school performance is suffering because you're preoccupied with porn
Many of us have had occasions where we come close to getting in trouble with our bosses or professors because of not focusing on our duties, but when that lack of focus is due to constantly thinking about porn it’s undeniably a more embarrassing issue. It can be extremely difficult to keep our attention from effortlessly rambling away from work-related tasks over to something much less productive - like daydreaming about the contents of an adult website. This might lead to poor performance at work or school, making it essential to interpret this sign as an indicator that you need to bring your focus back under control, rather than continue carelessly down a path of letting your online habits take priority.
You're feeling increasingly isolated and disconnected from the people in your life
When you're feeling isolated and disconnected from the people in your life, it can be really tough not to feel alone. Maybe you don't feel like anyone understands the struggles you're going through or that no one is available when you need them. That kind of loneliness can be overwhelming; however, it's important to remember that feelings and circumstances can change over time. Now might not be the best time to go out of your way to socialize, but that doesn't mean there aren't ways to still feel connected and supported. Reaching out to family members and close friends, as well as activities like yoga or journaling can be excellent outlets for helping to alleviate feelings of isolation. With a little extra effort it's possible to start rebuilding relationships with those around you in meaningful ways.
You've developed unhealthy coping mechanisms, such as excessive drinking or drug use, to deal with your addiction
In seeking to manage the pain of addiction, many people resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms that can exacerbate their condition rather than improve it. Those who find themselves trying to ease the burdens of addiction through excessive drinking or drug use are often putting themselves in hazardous situations, compounding problems rather than addressing them head-on. For those facing such a challenge, there is hope in embracing tools that provide resources and support towards healing. Treatment programs and therapies are available to help individuals reestablish momentum and reclaim their sense of self while navigating a healthier path forward.
If you're struggling with a porn addiction symptoms, it's important to reach out for help. There are many resources available to you, including therapy, support groups, and online programs. With the right treatment plan, you can overcome your addiction and build a healthy, fulfilling life.

They can be found anywhere, including the grocery store, the laundromat, your local coffee shop, the hardware store, the driving range, and the gym. That's not the shocking thing, though. The stunning thing is that they're lonely and rely on you to let them know it's alright to approach them. In the end, that's what guys desire in relationships and dating. Finding the proper man for you and learning how to make a guy like you will be much easier if you know this secret. Men are lonely, too It's likely that the cute stranger you meet at the grocery store, gym, or coffee shop didn't grow up nearby. It's likely that he did not attend college there either. Additionally, his native family is probably far away. That is to say, he is probably not spending much time with his childhood pals, school mates, siblings, or parents, who are the people he is closest to in the world. However, there's still more. Due to how expensive modern life is, he might work absurdly long hours with little time for a personal life. This is particularly true if he is American because, compared to other countries, Americans work the most hours with the least amount of free time. Not to mention that he is a male. As a result, society demands that he uphold an outdated, unhealthy masculine ideal. Because so many people are homophobic, males aren't allowed to hold hands with anyone unless it's romantic, they aren't allowed to kiss other men (provided they aren't attracted to women), and they aren't allowed to discuss deep, intimate secrets with one another unless it's truly a huge deal. Many women are able to be intimate with other women and their friends without it coming across as sexually suggestive, connect with everyone they meet, and chat to them constantly. Women do not experience loneliness in the same way that males do. Men want you to turn the table — and make an approach So, when you're learning how to make a guy like you, don't be afraid to approach a guy you like when you see him next since he's waiting impatiently for your greeting! The rest of the story is as follows: The art of approaching women is taught to guys. All the pursuing is "supposed" to be done by them. They have been aware from kindergarten that they must take action if they like a girl.
Look for the story behind the smile
What happened to the typical man by the time you run into him in the real world, then? He has had numerous rejections from ladies. So, after some unpleasant encounters, he has learned to avoid approaching ladies unless he is certain that they want him to. Therefore, unless he's a cocky bad boy, he'll search for some indication from you that you won't boot him from the couch once again. And if you're attractive (which you are), and you don't give him any cues, he'll think that you're already dating someone. He won't take action because he will think, "A woman like her must be with someone." Start the conversation yourself What can you do, then, to put an end to the madness? Even though it's so straightforward, it's the reverse of what you've been doing. You only need to start conversing with males wherever you go! Anything you say will be appreciated by them.   You are not required to say something insightful, humorous, or even stunning. Just say anything, please. He might not respond much if he is not interested or if his girlfriend is five feet away. It won't happen by magic The best part is that if you talk to men constantly wherever you go, you'll be so at ease that you won't suddenly lose your entire personality when you encounter the guy you want. You'll have built up all those "talking to men" muscles, so it'll be simple. He will adore you for being your most fabulous, endearing, and energetic self. Consider giving it a shot before you dismiss it because you might believe it's difficult or won't work for you. Talking to people in public can be challenging at first, but it will get easier.   Read the full article

Unit 1: My Relationship with Nature
Hey everyone,
Well, it looks like I’m a little late to the party. Oops! Still, I have had the pleasure of reading your posts for inspiration, and also as a way of getting to know my peers in this DE course. I guess the crunch I am now feeling is for leaving this to Sunday evening, but I won’t be making that mistake again. I’ll also get this blog up and running properly in the next few days.
For now, on to the purpose of this blog post; my relationship with Nature.
My earliest memory may very well be of a nature walk through the park with a toddler group my Mom joined. A dozen 3 year olds, all with loops of masking tape around the palms of their hands with the adhesive facing out so that we could pick up any pieces of “nature” we found along the way. Before long, my piece of tape was covered with pine needles, leaves, pieces of gravel, all kinds of things. At this point I’m not sure which parts I’m remembering and which parts I’m creating to fill in the gaps, but I’ve concluded that that event is the earliest thing I can definitely remember. To this day, one of my favourite things to do is go for a nice walk in the forest. In the intervening years, my relationship with, understanding of, and love for nature has shifted, grown, and become more and more rewarding, but also more and more important. On the whole, my relationship with nature can be summarised in three thoughts:
Nature is interesting. First and foremost, I, like most of you, think nature is pretty cool. While this happens to be beneficial for me given my minor in biology, I would feel the same way if it weren’t the basis of half of my university education. Learning how the world around us works, with biotic and abiotic factors working in tandem resulting in the majesty that exists all around us is freaking awesome! The fact that I am alive at a time when we as a species are aware that we are the result of just under 14 BILLION years of constant growth and adaptation, and that the process is continuing before our very eyes is an astounding fact that I feel I should acknowledge at least once a day, and, whenever possible, try to see it in action, whether that be between classes while walking in the arboretum, or on Netflix with the inimitable Sir David Attenborough. Physicist Richard Feynman spoke about “the pleasure of finding things out”, and nowhere do I find that pleasure more than in discovering the natural world.
Nature is a balm. Like many of you, I find nature healing. When I am able to spend a couple of hours walking along trails, or on the water fishing, or even just along the slightly more scenic backroad, I am calmer, I am more aware of my surroundings, my head is clearer. When I close my eyes and picture my happy place, it is rocking back and forth in an 11 foot aluminum boat, roasting in the sun along the shores of Lake Nipissing. There is a peace that comes with spending time in nature, among trees and rocks and animals and the sound and smell of the wind, and maybe, if you’re really lucky, a moment or two where you can’t quite hear the highway.
I am a steward of this planet. While I wouldn’t trade what we have gained in our instantaneous connection that comes with living in the 21st Century, the ecological cost of getting here has been incalculable. From the early days of watching Steve Irwin or the Kratt Brothers on PBS or CBC, conservation has been just as important as education. As I watch the impacts of climate change and the ongoing anthropocene extinction, I find it more and more important to be as good a steward as I can be for the space I take up on this planet.
While my relationship with nature is constantly changing, these three ideas have, upon reflection, been constant in how I look at the world around me, and all the incredible things going on in it. I hope to be able to reflect and learn more with you all throughout the semester!
