didn't include this in my original levirate marriage au ask bc im a little fool wearing a jester hat and jingly jester shoes who couldn't remember where the quote was from but for how quickly the marriage would happen i was thinking like "The funeral baked meats did coldly furnish forth the marriage tables" from hamlet quickly, like Geno turns up for the funeral and gets told he's getting married at the wake. Extra angst points if the weddings in the same church as the funeral - branding anon <3

Sid never went to geno’s house?

oh, sid has 100% been to geno’s house—we have video and picture proof! but there’s an interview from 2010 that not only calls geno the “lord protector of the puck” as he frolics with the wildlife in his backyard, but also has some absolutely remarkable quotes about him being “alone in this fairytale” and how it’s sidney crosby’s fault. we also get to hear about geno’s confusion regarding american mailboxes.
