I strongly recommend you to watch (and review) "Palm springs" (2020).
The cast is great (Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, and JK Simmons) and it's beautiful (photography-wise)
I did a review of this some time back, back when I just started!
It's an enjoyable twist on the Groundhog Day genre.
If you are a fan of this genre, I also recommend Happy Death Day. It is also a part slasher genre though.

Practical Astrology for Witches and Pagans
Ivo Dominguez, Jr - 2016
I had some difficulty settling into this and originally skimmed large sections. Somewhere around chapter ten things started clicking and I was able to finish reading from there, then go back and read the first nine chapters and appreciate them. Chapter ten talks about the moon phases, moon in signs, and how to pick the moon that works best for your magical intentions. Also of note, chapter 12 on the influences of the moons of fellow practitioners on the mutual work and chapter 14′s exercises for spiritual evolution.
Modern rulership astrology & uses natural houses as well (neither are my favorite), insightful on timings & conditions, explains use of magic(k) squares, gives references for Hermetic Qabala.
info: borrowed (library), cover art from Google.

#MoviesIWatch - Renfield (2023)
More gory violence than I imagined it to have (not that I'm complaining) and less Nicolas Cage than I imagined it to have (I am certainly complaining).
Seriously, forget Renfield, let's focus on the Count. And bring Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing back while we're at it.
Thank me later.

#MoviesIWatch - Enkilum Chandrike (2023)
What was on the mind didn't translate well onto the screen. Could see many scenes paced a certain way but the execution wasn't matching up to them.
Some laughs. Mindless watch. That's all.

#MoviesIWatch - L'an 01 (1973)
50 years since this film came out and I kept thinking how perfect its absurd, revolutionary utopia is for the post-pandemic world.
If only.

#MoviesIWatch - Saudi Vellakka (2022)
There were only four people in the hall watching this late-night show in Montréal. And all four of us left with our hearts full, I believe.
Thank you, Tharun Moorthy. You made me burst into tears—again, and again.
Heart. Felt.

#MoviesIWatch - Thirst (2009)
Has one of the calmest beginning and ending shots. It's the stuff in the middle that gets you with its crazy-lustful-vampire-erotic-bloodthirsty-moralistic-madness. Park Chan Wook, Song Kang-ho, and Kim Ok-vin, respect.
So bloody!

Hangs my head in shame and asks a question from another Malayalam movie.
But why?

John Wick meets Agneepath (Hrithik's of course). And mostly in a good way.
Keep going, Dev Patel!

#MoviesIWatch - Bhagavanth Kesari (2023)
I'm not worthy enough to review a Balayya film so I'll let the film speak for itself and you choose the one you like.
"Coca-Cola Pepsi, Bhagavanth Kesari sexy."
Or
"Bro... I don't care."

P.S. Enjoyed the self-aware nature of it. That machine gun sequence😅

The only thing that's cooler than Eddie Murphy in this film is the Axel F theme track.
Great fun.

#MoviesIWatch - The Beekeeper (2024)
"To bee or not to bee?"
"I think I'll take... to bee."
I'm guessing they wrote a bunch of bee metaphors and puns first and then wrote a movie around it.

#MoviesIWatch - Aavesham (2024)
Jithu Madhavan ups his game after Romancham and how. Killer soundtrack, character development, ROFL moments and a glorious, glorious Fahadh.
Riot of a film. Looking forward to watching it again!
