have a question for tokyo ghoul boys. What do you think their clothing style in real life would look like or their style in general?
Hi Love,
Yeah this is a good question! Let’s get to it. :)

He shops at like H&M
On the left is his battle outfit, Shiro vibes.
And he wears black boots and probably has earrings too.
Chains
The middle is for a date.
Right is how he casually dresses for an outing.
He looks so damn fine with these.
He’s never dressed badly tho.
Oh, he might even adapt to some thick black glasses, but he doesn’t look bad he pulls it off.
He mostly wears sneakers, and he wears dark colors.
Hide:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s a mix of H&M and Hollister.
Spurs of color all the time because why not?
He likes a lot of stripes/prints on his clothes.
And a lot of weird colors/accessories.
He wears these shoes that are old vans, and Kaneki has tried so hard to have him wear other shoes, and he just never does.
He always wears those old things.
Hide is mostly focused on the comfort and color of his clothes.
Ayato:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leather jackets all the way.
Left/Right are battle and casual wear; there is no in between.
The middle is when he is on a date/not fighting that day he takes his jacket off.
But that's about it.
And he wears black combat boots all the time.
He's got a punk vibe to him tbh.
And you know he's got them earrings, and it's just a whole vibe.
He does wear a necklace sometimes and occasionally a ring or something.
His shoes or boots rather have insoles because he's insecure of his height.
And he wears them every day, so then when he takes them off it takes him a second to adjust to his actual height.
Yomo:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
tight shirts
right: working out/training
middle: date/important event
left: casual
He wears a lot of tanks.
His wardrobe is so bland too.
He only has black, gray, and white clothes.
And literally has like ten shirts that are exactly the same in his closet.
And then you know he of course, has that one trench coat he keeps on all year round.
Uta has tried to give him advice on what to wear but he never takes his advice.
He doesn’t really wear much of anything else.
He’s also more focused on comfort and simple things.
Uta:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left: Casual/at work
Middle: casual
Right: Date
Cannot dress for sh!t
and like it's a problem.
The photos here are fine, I know, but the minute he uses color, it goes horribly wrong.
Like bruh, he dresses badly in the anime (a lot of the time).
I mean, you guys did see that ugly suit he was wearing right?
Or am I crazy?
He cannot dress even to save his life, because literally, our artist here thinks throwing something random into the mix is just ok.
But seriously, there are rules.
He doesn’t have much color in his closet in fact, most of his closet in 97% black and 1.9% white and 0.01% random colors.
He wears a lot of loose clothing and rarely wears tight things.
Mostly cause he likes to be comfortable more than anything.
So you won’t see him wear tight jeans all the time, but he sometimes does.
I think he does wear a leather jacket sometimes but it's not always.
I wish we could’ve of actually seen that in anime.
Whatever the case his tattoos are always on display.
Like we all know how his shirts are.
Although I don’t think he shows much of his skin.
Like he is so f*cking pale.
He’s never worn shorts in his life.
And I mean, he’s a total goth so we can pretty much guess how his closet looks.
And like always he wears his black shades when he’s out.
Wears a ring on his finger, you know like those thick rings.
Itori has tried to fix his wardrobe but she knows he’s a lost cause so she gave up.
Honestly, he should be arrested for the certain outfits he’s put together before, like tf uta.
Furuta:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dresses too well, like how!!???
So many nice suits and ties, no one ever has to tell him how to dress.
Isn’t that nice?
He seems like the kinda of guy that is picky about his clothes and literally picks out clothes for his gf.
Like yeah, he’s that kinda guy.
So he likes his women classy.
Which makes sense as to why he dresses nice.
His clothes are expensive too.
Literally,  his closet is full of just strict outfits, no spare shirts or pants, nope.
Every hanger there has a suit/outfit.
And even different shoes.
I see that he wears a watch too.
He doesn’t show too much skin, but he sometimes rolls up the sleeves of his button-up shirts.
f*ck
Takizawa (ghoul):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Left: Date
Middle: Casual
Right: Casual/At home
T-shirts
leather jacket
jeans and that's pretty much it.
he's simple, but it says a lot about him.
Literally has ten shirts that are the same, and you ask him why.
You've tried to change his wardrobe just a little, but he won't budge.
Only sometimes he will wear white or something because it's a special occasion and he wants to wear the clothes you bought him.
It's only cause he loves you that he'll do it.
You've only gotten him to wear a suit once and boy was it a site.
You were really happy that night bc it was for a fancy date and he was just waiting to get out of the suit. 😂

Heyy boo, ok so do you know any sites where I can buy cute fitted sweatpants , I want like fitted but a lil loose at the same time. And something that isn’t wide leg at the bottom. It’s hard finding some so I hope you can help me out. Because I definitely need it. I want to start dressing more comfortable and stop just wearing jeans non stop. I just wanna be cute and comfortable. And a lil sexy as well lol😂 but I hope you can help me. Also do you know a good site on where to find good comfy tights
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fashion Nova (I like their basic tracksuits but make sure to upsize if you have long legs because they do run short.)
Forever 21
Hollister (Their lounge bralettes + joggers are super comfy and cute!)
Victoria’s Secret
Pretty Little Thing (I live in their cuffed sweatpants + bodysuits so I think their tracksuits would be perfect.)

5/18/24
10 p.m
I didn't go see her by the time I got home it was like 7 and visiting hours went to 8 so. I'll go tomorrow. I haven't even gotten my first load of laundry into the dryer yet. I prob got 5 loads..
I tried on some of my old Hollister and American eagle polo's. They are all small and mediums. So most I was like a packed sausage. I'd need to lose like 20 pounds but a few I looked just a little chubby in... 10 more pounds and I could fit into them.
My shoulders were a little tight.. I'm going to have fun clothes shopping once I go to the gym and start to lose more weight. I can't wait to dress like I used to with skinny jeans and polo's and button ups and show off my body. Imma flaunt it. No joke.
I want to get to the gym but I got to get through this week. I'm excited to think I could look like I used to but better looking lol
I'm not going to wear my hearing aids, this is my prime. And I'm about to get better looking. I mean if I had a gf tbh once I get them Id wear them and take them off for photos.
The hallucination is driving me wild but whatever. I'm trying to at least stay positive even though I can't find a gf and I'm lonely af. All I know is I'm good looking and I'm loyal and a great guy.

The Autobiography of a Neurodiverse Oreoette (Can Shorten to TANO (or just....NO)) Chapter 1
I warn you. This writing piece might come across as a bit pitiful. I'll write out all of the trigger warning before I get started. This writing will contain childhood suicide ideation, bullying, Marxist musings, social rejection, social anxiety, adulthood suicide ideation, anger management issues, empathy deficiencies, so much failure, and maybe after all of that, just sprinkle of acceptance and hope.
This author has loved writing see the beginning of time ( yes really), and may or may not be partially stuck in some mixture of childhood, teenage, and young adult reasoning. This author has also spent most of her life alone, so please forgive any misperceptions on the outside world. This author can only conceive of what is in her head, a side effect of her neurodiversity. This writing will likely not be written chronologically, but the author hopes that the order makes some sense to the reader. This author wishes the reader luck on this journey.
Now that the disclaimers are written and the audience is established, let's begin. There are things that are different, but in a normal way. Let's take fashion. For decades, centuries, millennia even, each generation has felt a need to reinvent their expression of themselves through the clothing adorned on their bodies. In high school in the late 2000s, skaters and their admirers waltzed through the halls very tight jeans that hugged the ankles, known as skinny jeans. Other students wore bright red lipstick, and dark hair, a reflection of a vampire obsession caused by Young Adult novels. But the perceived norm were expensive shirts from labels like Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister and Aeropostale, maybe with a pair of flip flops from Bebe. There were norms, and accepted deviations from those norms. Deviations could mean you were treated with hostility from the accepted norms, but there were usually at least a handful of people to clump up with in the cafeteria, even on the furthest points from the norm.
And then there are people like me, who wore clothes from elementary school, that were untaken care of, who who thought less of her appearance because they had read Dr. King and took his statement on being "judged by the content of their character" as literally as possible. This was not a deviation from the norm, it was an attack on unspoken values that our culture holds dear, it is never socially acceptable to look "unkept" or as if you just rolled out of bed and threw on garments. That is not a fashion statement. That is a failure to do humaning correctly. And so one might imagine the confusion at the way may classmates ignored me, snapped at me for asking questions, moved away from me when I approached, and held a general disdain for my existence. You also might imagine that when others respond to a person negatively, that person may be inclined to do some self reflection and change things about themselves to covert to more acceptable ways of being. But not me. My brain works differently. Like many students of the Barney era, I was taught that uniqueness was a prized possession, and I was stubborn enough not to change, even when facing painful isolation. After all, if all of your friends jumped off a bridge, you wouldn't do it too would you? Yet another idiom that I took literally. Nuance was not, is not my forte. It really doesn't help that flat out rejection of social norms are usually not met with kindness, not from students or adults. My parents and teachers, god bless them, were just as curt and cruel as the students in school. I think the most cutting comments about my appearance came from my mother, and my stubbornness and unwillingness to let go of my core principles, that a person's appearance has nothing to do with who the person is on the inside, caused a household where compliments were non existent (at least towards me), and violent outbursts were the norm.
There's that word again, norm. See, another unspoken rule is that it's okay to be cruel to kids if they are failing at grasping one of the basic tenets of society. There was so much sympathy for her .How could she have been cursed with such an evil child? We know she's evil because of how she looks. Surely these acts of cruelty we witness are acceptable because when a child exists outside of the rules, the abuser is justified in any and all attempts to force them into compliance. Particularly true if the child has very poor hygiene, like I did/do. That would exhaust the compassion of any reasonable person, thus violence is a completely fair response. I wonder if his is how terrorists groups justify their behavior.

i will just never accept the revival of some 2005-2012 fashion trends
i have a viscerally negative reaction to the idea of wearing something that reminds me of the things i wore when i was a cringy kid (like age 10-12) or pre-teen, to early teen
i don't like long-cut tank tops (or any long, skin-tight shirt). that was a HUGE trend in my school around 2007. having a lace hem, skin tight tank top that goes down mid-butt, overlaid with a skin-tight (usually hollister/abercrombie) shirt that goes down a couple inches above the tank top. frequently coupled with either baggy sweat pants or boot cut jeans. VOMIT-INDUCING. i wore that crap almost every day when i was 10. and tank tops being cut to extend pass the torso remained the default silhouette for tank tops up until, like 2014, when crop and boxy cut exploded.
i don't like low rise pants in general. there's no reason for it. neutral waist/mid-rise pants are just fine. there's no reason for your pubic bone to be exposed.
i don't like skinny jeans. they reigned for many, many years, throughout all these trends. for almost a decade, skinny jeans evolved to remain relevant with the passing trends. i am tired of you, please go away. i don't necessarily find them revolting, but i am Tired of them.
i don't like the 2011-2012 hipster era, like... the era of suspenders, galaxy print, and fedoras. BUT. i do like the 2011-2012 tumblr goth movement of the same timeframe. the oversized vintage tees, with leggings and creepers. that will always be kinda dear to me. but the adjacent hipster movement is repulsive in retrospect.

Vanity Sizing
Today I had an assignment for my Parsons online class. I was instructed to go to a clothing store and try on multiple items of different sizes. Sizing has changed during the years and throughout stores. I've already noticed this in my usual shopping trips. Today, however, I focused on it even more.
I tried on several shirts and a couple pants of different styles. Shirts to me, are much simpler to shop for than any type of bottom. Depending on the size you choose, the whole style can change. I am usually a size small at clothing stores. However, places like Hollister tend to fit a little different than others. In these tops I could be anywhere from xs-m. I tried on two tank tops of different sizes for this summer. The smaller size fit better around my torso, but was tighter on top. While the bigger size was the opposite.
Bottoms are a completely different story. At any store, I have not found an xs in bottoms that fits me well. It usually ends up being too tight around the thighs but perfect for my waist. I usually end up having to go for a size 4 even though a size 2 would be better for my waist. Garage is the only store that I've found that has a size 3. I've found other jeans that fit me just as well as a Garage size 3, which happen to be from Tilly's and are a size 4.
I've learned to not feel bad about the difference in sizes that I choose from different stores. Each place has their own size chart and create garments according to that.
