I just wanna mention to the fanders that as much as we all love the series, Thomas doesn't owe us anything

he does have a life outside of YouTube and tagging every one of your post with "he make me so mad>:(" isn't gonna make ANYONE wanna do anything for you

I get why you're tired. We all are. But taking it out by getting pissed that a stranger isn't catering to you EXACTLY like how you want them to is kind of trashy

also I've seen people say that Thomas is 'butchering' the characters that HE MADE and HE WROTE let writers and directors make their own creative decisions first of all and second of all leave him tf alone

Honestly I'd be happy if Thomas just posted the entire 4 part script of the last ss episode without recording anything. That way we could at least get solid closure for the series, we won't have to see him butcher the characters after not playing them for so long, and he won't have people asking about it any more (because we all know how he feels about that :/) and later if he decides he wants to make a full effort episode for it, then we'd at least be getting a better quality video than one he made just because he felt like he had to

But tbh I don't know if he'll be open to that idea because he probably feels like he owes us that last ep (which, he does, at least to his patreon doners) and will continue to push it off without any clear progress updates

to be honest, i really really dont enjoy the idea of the asides in hindsight. it was advertised as smaller episodes between main episodes, and from healthy distraction we could infer its sort of slice-of-life/off camera shenanigans. but it just slowly became more and more complicated. i love nico, but again, he just complicated everything.

if thomas never made the asides, put any focus he wouldve had on the asides onto the finale, and communicated about the wait, im sure the fandom would be fine! theres so many more low-effort ways to give us in-between eps that doesn't include a new series

See, Youtooz teased the mini plushies a while ago, and I've been super excited. But then, I realized they would probably be sold as blind boxes, which is annoying, but whatever. I figured I could buy a few and then find other fanders to trade with.

And THEN, I see the preorder page, and I see this shit.

$29.99 USD. For ONE 6 inch plushie, that you don't even get to pick. Anyone remember how much the original 9 inch plushies cost? Because I do!

What kind of ass backwards entitled bullshit is this?????? They really want to charge us almost $30 USD for MINIATURE plushies THAT WE DON'T EVEN GET TO PICK?????? AND THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO OFFER A "DISCOUNT" IF YOU BUY THE FULL SET OF FIVE FOR $100 USD.

And look, I don't know or care if this is directly Thomas's fault. Maybe it's just Youtooz being a shitty greedy company. I remember the FNAF Sun and Moon plushies were $30 each. But those also had magnets in them, so you could pin them to your shoulders/bags/whatever and show them off; so I figured that's what caused the higher price tag.

It just astounds me that a creator like Thomas who claims to be so fan focused would agree to so much of a rip off. I really really hope for his sake and the sake of us as a fandom that this decision wasn't his, because it's gonna reflect really badly if it was.

Hey! I’m Ronny, I was really active in the Sanders Sides fandom from 2017-2020 (my ss blog was @logic-is-iconic if you were around back then). I remember waiting for part two of Accepting Anxiety in middle school and now I’m in my sophomore year of college and we still don’t have closure for the series

I came back because I saw the Anime Intro video in my suggestions the other day and I watched it to see what the series was up to and,, 😬 eugh

But yeah I made this blog to share some of my own thoughts about Thomas’s recent decisions because I know how toxically positive the fandom can be and I wanted to find all the other ex-fanders out there. I’m not trying to hate on the guy but at the same time I feel like he could use a healthy amount of hate rn
