With ToxicSaturday giving us multiple sex scenes this week, it made me realise something that I was already aware but it made me even more notice that. It’s that sex scenes in Thai BL are so lacking like there isn’t any sensuality even if the actors are trying to go at it by kissing each other’s all over their bodies but I don’t know the music which sometimes can be really corny, the camera effect, the way it’s filmed, it’s just not really sexy. I know that it’s not the most important subject in a BL but I really wonder why it’s like this; is it some type of censor or just they don’t know how to film sex scenes. I think the NC scenes I saw on GL were better, the girls did a good job while BL just give me goofiness vibes.

I have absolutely no idea. I also don't know how to judge these scenes (@clairificusrex, @thequeenofsastiel and @absolutebl can all talk about that better than I can because none of it ever bothers me.)

Like, to be clear, by the time it gets bad enough for me to care it's probably literally the worst sex scene ever or literal rape and almost nothing between the two will bother me. Just... it won't.

So I have no idea and no judgement in this. I haven't even watched anything yet today of the toxic Saturday stuff yet (gotta do Bed Friend and gif bed friend first!) but I will believe you.

idc - EVERY single Black scene in this episode was SO hot omg. The way we heard him talk for the first time, his deep voice and looks, his behavior OMG. EVERYTHING.

Although his character is being played by the very same actor who plays White, wow, just wow.

The DIFFERENCE. I can't-

At this point, they can show me nobody but Black in the upcoming episodes 🔥

So... I both get it and don't get it.

I do see the difference. Black is a much more stoic character, prone to knowing his mind and knowing his choices and knowing exactly what he wants and what he needs to do in any given moment. And that's such a contrast to White who prefers to think, to consider, to weigh his options until one is the best and he knows it's the best and he knows why it's the best.

But I can also admit that I will likely never be able to tell them apart in the show without some kind of clue (the earrings will be a good guide!) because I don't hear the big difference and, while they are different, I am bad enough at telling different actors apart, let alone the same actor playing two character.

So I am the wrong person for this ask.

Because, frankly... yeah, they're different?

But I guarantee I will mess them up at some point in the show. I mean, I'm the person who couldn't tell Leo and Fiat's voices apart in a voice over. And has, many times, had to repeatedly check MDL to insure that I'm looking at the right character.

Absolute apologies but, while i understand that they're majorly different to you, the difference to me was... the hoodie and the earrings helped? I definitely didn't hear a difference in his voice or see a difference in his face beyond the emotion he was showing in the moment.
